C1 – PRIX RIDGWAY – 2000m (a1m1/4) – TURF – Listed – Flat – EUR € 50,300

  1. THE ODYSSEY – Nice win on his second start in a maiden at this track and trip on April 30th. Looks progressive and is worth considering
  2. TONNANT – Creditable 3rd last time in a Class 1 race at Saint-Cloud on April 17th, and a win before that on March 30th at Chantilly in a handicap on the PSF. Player
  3. NICOMEDE – Ran well to be 2nd on his debut over 2000m at Saint-Cloud in a conditions race on May 1st. Open to progress and warrants respect
  4. FOCUS – Four decent efforts, 3rd on the latter over 1600m in a Listed race at Toulouse on April 19th. Can not be ignored
  5. OVERNIGHT – Got success on his second start at Saint-Cloud in a maiden race by 2.5 lengths on May 22nd. Leading chance with more to come
    Summary: OVERNIGHT (5) won nicely on the most recent start at Saint-Cloud in a maiden race late last month and seems on an upward curve. He can improve further and be too smart for TONNANT (2), who was a decent third in a Class 1 race at Saint-Cloud in mid-April on his latest start. FOCUS (4) has shown plenty of talent in four starts and was a pleasing third in a Listed race at Toulouse in April on his latest start and has to be respected.

  8. ALMARIS – Two placed runs, 2nd on the latter in a maiden at this track and trip on April 30th. Has work ahead to make the top-three
  9. CHILL Y FLAMA – Placed 2nd on her latest start over 2000m at Le Lion D’Angers in a Class 1 race on May 14th. Others make more appeal
  10. DISPATCHES – Two wins of late, the most recent in a Class 2 race at Compiegne on May 9th over 2400m, a win over 1600m before that in September in a maiden. Live contender
  11. MAINTAIN – Unplaced last time in the Poule D’Essai Des Pouliches (Gr.1) in early May, 3rd before that over 1800m in a Group 3 race at this track on April 5th. Can win again
  12. MAPAQUITA – Got off the mark in a maiden over 2000m at Nancy on May 20th. Big leap up in class and can be opposed
  13. PROXIMA DU CENTAUR – Placed 4th last time over 2200m in a Listed race at this track on May 3rd. May have more to come and has outside place claims
    Summary: MAINTAIN (6) found the opposition too strong in the Poule D’Essai Des Pouliches (Gr.1) in early May, but her previous third-place finish in a Group 3 at this track reads well in the context of this race. DISPATCHES (5) is progressing nicely with experience and arrives in search of a hat-trick. She looks the principal danger. ECIJA (2) produced a strong effort when runner-up in a Listed contest recently and commands plenty of respect on that form. AZAMITA (1) is another worthy of consideration

  15. ALEM – Recent 4th at Saint-Cloud in a Class 2 race over 1600m on May 15th. Ought to be involved in the finish
  16. AFOGADO – Solid effort to be 4th at Parislongchamp over 1400m in a Class 2 handicap on May 24th last time out. Reasonably well handicapped and can be competitive
  17. FIRE REBEL – Below par with four unplaced efforts recently, 8th at Chantilly over 1200m in a Class 2 race on May 19th. Hard to recommend
  18. MARCUS AURELIUS – Two wins this year from three runs, the latter over 1400m at Bordeaux Le Bouscat in a Class 2 race on May 23rd. Place claims
  19. TEN HORNS – Unplaced last time late in May, 3rd before that in a Class 1 handicap at Parislongchamp on April 5th. One to pay attention to
  20. CIEL DE PARIS – Made no show over 1300m in a Class 2 handicap at Deauville on January 2nd when last appearing. Seems better on the PSF recently
  21. INTERACTIV – Unplaced last time, 3rd before that at Chantilly over 1200m in a Class 2 race on April 22nd. Unlikely to be a threat
  22. TALENTUOSO – Placed on five of his six runs this year, the latter when 3rd at Parislongchamp in a Class 2 handicap over 1400m on May 24th. Top-three chance
  23. LA MANDALA – Two nice efforts this year, 3rd over 1400m in a Class 2 handicap on the latest at Parislongchamp on May 14th. Can make the frame
  24. NO LIMIT DREAM – Finished 7th last time over 1400m at Parislongchamp in a Class 2 handicap on May 24th. Ought to be in the shake-up
  25. REVE DE VALLARSA – Tad below expectations last time at this track in late April, 2nd before that over this track and trip in a Class 2 handicap on April 5th. Others seem more likely
  26. CHALDERO – Out of form of late, well beaten over this track and trip in a Class 2 handicap on May 24th. Hard to be enthusiastic about
  27. GALORD – Tad below par last time late in May, 4th previously over 1200m at Chantilly in a Class 3 handicap on May 12th. Merits each-way consideration
  28. BARGING THRU – Well beaten last time late in May, a win before that over 1400m at this track on April 30th in a Class 3 handicap. Needs respite from the handicapper
  29. ALPHA WONDER – Three unplaced runs this year, 5th at Parislongchamp over 1400m in a Class 3 handicap on the latter on May 24th. Needs a few to misfire
    Summary: AFOGADO (3) was a good fourth in a competitive Class 2 handicap at Parislongchamp late in May on the most recent start, when not beaten very far, he is the tentative selection over TORTISAMBERT (1), who was two places ahead in second in the same race and can make things interesting. ALEM (2) has solid each-way aspirations after a pleasing fourth at Saint-Cloud when last seen just over three weeks ago. TALENTUOSO (9) has consistent form and should give another honest account of himself. GALORD (14) is another to keep onside.

  33. CIELO DI ROMA – Placed 3rd on his last two runs, the most recent over 1400m in a Group 3 at Deauville on April 7th behind AFANDY (2). Others rate higher
  34. PITCH PERFECT – He has won his last three runs, the latter over 1400m at Bordeaux Le Bouscat in a Class 2 race on April 11th. More needed up in class
  35. IMPERIOR – Unplaced last time, a win previously over 1400m at Saint-Cloud in a Class 2 race on March 29th. Might find a few too smart
  36. CANALEJAS – Recent success over this track and trip in a Listed race on May 14th. Plenty of experience and warrants respect
  37. GOOD BYE MANU – Found it hard in the Poule D’Essai Des Poulains (Gr.1) at this track last time, but ran reasonably well to be 7th over 1600m on May 10th. Has work to do to trouble some of these
  38. NIGHTTIME – Ran well to be 6th in the Poule D’Essai Des Poulains (Gr.1) at this track last time early last month,when travelling strongly. 2nd in a Group 3 before that over 1600m at this track on April 12th. Solid credentials
    Summary: NIGHTTIME (9) could be more effective dropping back in distance slightly. He is a strong traveler and ran a decent race when sixth in the Poule D’Essai Des Poulains (Gr.1) at this track last time early last month. He is preferred over AFANDY (2), who won the Prix Djebel (Gr.3) at Deauville when last seen and likes this distance. SYNARAN (1) has solid each-way credentials and is improving. CANALEJAS (7) completes the shortlist.

  42. NITOI – Placed 4th on the latest start over 1600m in a Listed race at this track on May 24th. Capable of having a say in the finish
  43. SINILEO – Recent win at Bordeaux Le Bouscat over 1900m in a Class 2 race on April 27th, and 3rd in a Group 2 before that in June 2025 at Saint-Cloud. Can improve from last time and be involved
  44. FAMILLY – Won easily on her latest start over 2000m in a fillies Listed race at Le Lion D’Angers on May 14th. More to do and is against the colts/geldings today
  45. TAJLINA – Two placed runs this year, 2nd at Saint-Cloud in a Group 3 over 2000m on May 1st on the latest start. Each way contender
    Summary: CASAPUEBLO (2) is versatile distance wise and having scored in a Listed race over 1850m last time this distance should not pose too many issues. He can get the better of SINILEO (5), who was workmanlike when winning at Boordeaux Le Bouscat in a Class 2 race late in April and can take a step forward from that success. TAJLINA (7) has been placed on both runs this year and can have a say in proceedings. NITOI (4) ran well when fourth in a Listed race last time and heads the rest.

  54. CAP SANTA LUCIA – Recent success on her second start at Windsor (UK over 1600m in a conditions race on May 18th. Travels from the UK and can make the frame
  55. COCO SOLEIL – Got off the mark on her latest run over 1600m at Munich-Riem (DEU) in a conditions race on May 1st. Tough task ahead
  56. LAND OF LIBERTY – Placed 2nd on her latest start over 1800m in a Listed race at Chantilly on May 19th. Among the leading options each way
    Summary: FORTUNA DIAMOND (6) has made a perfect start to her career, winning both starts to date. Her latest success came in a Class 2 contest at Dieppe in mid-May, and she looks capable of maintaining her unbeaten record. HOUVILLE (1) rates the main danger. She has been consistent, finishing in the placings on all three starts, and her recent Listed effort at Chantilly early last month was encouraging. ALMA MATER (2) also enters calculations after a solid third-place finish in a Class 2 event in April. RADIANT (7) completes the shortlist.

  66. LA MARITZA – Three unplaced runs of late, 9th at Compiegne over 1800m in a Class 3 race on May 25th. Others rate higher
    Summary: BULLET ANT (1) was a decent second at Niort in a maiden race on his latest start in mid-May and can be effective dropping into this class of race. His main threat could be YOHIO (2), who has been in the frame in the last four runs, the most recent at Agen when third in a maiden race. ESPRONCEDA (6) has run well recently with two placed runs and looks like a sensible each-way option. I AM STILL STANDING (4) is also worth a mention.

  79. FLEUR DE SEL – Two wins of late, the latter over this track and trip in a Class 3 handicap on May 14th. Up in the weights but can not be ruled out
  80. MICHELANGELO – Numerous unplaced runs, the latter over 1100m at Le Croise-Laroche in a Class 4 handicap on May 17th. Makes no appeal
  81. TERANGA – Poor run last time on March 13th, a win before that at Machecoul on March 8th in a Class 4 race over 1650m. Might find this difficult
    Summary: WHITE PLATIN (5) has been holding his form well, recording two consecutive third-place finishes, most recently in a Class 3 handicap over this trip on May 24. He looks the one to beat. DARLINGHURST (2) finished fourth in the same contest and has little ground to make up on the selection. COSMO BEAU (1) should be fitter for his recent return, when finishing third at Niort after a six-month layoff, and is respected. CITY BABE (6) has been supplemented for the race and is another who deserves consideration.

  3. LATINO ELDE – Did not show his best when 8th in a Class F mounted race at Saint-Brieuc over 3150m on 30 April. Capable of better but others make more appeal
  4. L’AMI PRODIGIEUX – Successful in a Class F mounted race at Tours over 2825m on 10 May. Very ureliable but has a place chance at very best
  5. KAMOVA DU RILER – Unplaced in a Class G at Cherbourg over 2625m on 1 November. Returns from a break and is likely to need this run
  6. LOVE ET CASH RENKA – Showed some improvement when 3rd in a Class F at Caen over 2450m on 27 May. Can be competitive once again
  7. LAGON D’ORIENT – Victorious in a Class F mounted race at Amiens over 2400m on 16 May. Not easy to trust but is capable of doubling up
  8. KEILA DU PERCHE – Only modest of late and finished 6th in a claimer at Bernay over 2800m on 18 May. Others are much peferred
  9. LUCAS DE TOURNAI – Disqualified at Dozule over on 14 May. Not east to trust and needs to find a few lengths to beat these rivals
  10. LEON DU CLOS – Disqualified last time out at Vire over 2800m on 18 May. In good form before that and can contest the finish if smart
  11. LEONARD DU CLOS – Off form and finished 9th in a Class D at Enghien over 2875m on 24 March. Needs to find a few lengths to score
  12. LAURO FLIGNY – Did not show his best when 6th in a Class E at Vire over 2825m on 18 May. Capable of better and can make the frame
  13. LOU DES COUPERIES – A winner of a Class E at Argentan over 2900m on 11 May. Has improved of late and could follow up if in the same mood
    Summary: LOU DES COUPERIES (13) impressed when scoring in style last month and has been kept fresh for this assignment. A repeat of that effort could see her follow up. LAURO FLIGNY (12) commands respect after winning on his sole start with Hélène Godey. LOVE ET CASH RENKA (6) shaped well when third on his mounted debut and remains open to improvement. Entrusted to Mathieu Mottier, LEON DU CLOS (10) is another one to consider.

  18. NELSON DU RIB – Not disgraced when 5th in a Class D at Enghien over 2875m on 23 May. Had some fair form before that and could play a minor role
  19. NOUBA DU CABARET – Successful in a Class E at Argentan over 2875m on 19 May. Improving and is not out of it in this line-up
  20. NINJA DU PLESSIS – Disqualified twice in just four starts, including last time out at Vincennes on 22 May. Can be a threat if staying in stride
  21. NASH DU CAMPUS – Unbeaten in two starts, the latest in a Class E at Saint-Brieuc over 2575m on 30 April. Capable of completing the hat-trick
    Summary: NASH DU CAMPUS (8) has made a highly promising start to his career and remains unbeaten after two outings. Well regarded by connections, he can complete the hat-trick. The chief threat may come from NOBLE SUPREME (3), who still has plenty of scope for improvement and returns to the scene of his sole victory with the benefit of a freshening break. NINJA DU PLESSIS (7) has shown ability in his early starts and looks capable of making the frame. NOUBA DU CABARET (6) continues to progress and also warrants consideration.

  32. MUSIC DE BERTRANGE – Victorious twice in a row, the latest in a Class E at Caen over 2450m on 16 May. Looks capable of completing the treble
  33. MALAGA DU DIGEON – Disqualified at Vincennes over 2700m on 30 April. Not easy to trust but is capable of making the frame when staying on the trot

    Summary: A competitive-looking contest, but preference is for the wealthier and more proven runners, headed by MUSIC DE BERTRANGE (11), who was dominant in both starts during May and arrives in top form.   54. L’ETOILE D’ETE – At the top of her game and was victorious in a class F at Durtal over 2825m on 24 May. Remains barefoot and can score again
  55. LEWIS D’ALEXIANE – Disqualified at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat over 2550m on 26 December. Returns from a break and should need this run
  56. LILOU DE GUOZ – Disqualified in a class D at Vincennes over 2100m on 5 December. Likely to need this run returning from a break
  57. LEO DES MALBERAUX – Disqualified in a class E at Vichy over 2950m on 16 May. Tackled on all fours.
    Summary: L’ETOILE D’ETE (10) bids to maintain her unbeaten record with Alexis Bescher and sets a solid standard, though this looks no straightforward task. LATINO DU LUPIN (8) ran well on his return and is entitled to come on for that outing, while LIVERPOOL DU TAY (7) is heading the right way and should be competitive from the front line. LASSIE DE MALABRY (1) goes barefoot on her comeback and is worth considering as well.

  65. MAHATMA DANICA – Not reliable and finished 8th in class E at Caen over 2450m on 27 May. Capable of doing better and could make the frame
  66. MAT DES CHARRONS – Disqualified in class F at Rostrenen over 2850m on 24 May. Has disqualification issues and others make more appeal

    Summary: An open looking race. MILORD DU LUPIN (4) shaped well on his return and now goes unshod for the first time, which could unlock further improvement. MY NAME IS FLASH (6) is best forgiven a recent effort and is well worth another chance, while MAHATMA DANICA (8) has the ability to feature if reproducing his best form. MATELOT KERYANN (5) is admirably consistent and, although tackling the sand surface for the first time, still commands respect.

  74. MONONOKE DE BRETT – Unreliable and finished 7th in class E at Meslay-du-Maine over 2875m on 28 May. Victorious back in May and could earn some money
  75. MUSE DU VALLON – Finishd 5th in class F at Meslay-du-Maine over 2875m on 28 May. Has shown improvement and could score for Eric Raffin
  76. MILOTTE DU HOULBET – Victorious in class F at Questembert over 3125m on 17 May. Has scored well in previous three attempts and has a place chance
  77. MACCHIAVELLA – Unreliable and finished 8th in class F at Lignieres over 2825m on 17 May. Capable of an upset on best form
  78. MAESTRIA DE PADD – Showed some improvement when 4th in class F at Graignes over 2725m on 22 May. Might need to do more to beat to beat these rivals
  79. MASINA D’OSCAR – A good third 3rd in class F at Gournay-en-Bray over 2550m on 25 May. Has disqualification issues but is also not out of it
  80. MAYA DE LA NOE – Not reliable and finished 4th in class F at Durtal over 2825m on 24 May. Victorious in April and can contest the finish
    Summary: A very open looking race. MUSE DU VALLON (7) catches the eye with Eric Raffin booked and is expected to go well. Good improvement should be forthcoming. MAYA DE LA NOE (12) has the ability if in the right frame of mind, while MILOTTE DU HOULBET (8) arrives in top form and should be competitive once more. MONA VILI (1) is best given another chance and could easily bounce back into contention if at her best.

  86. NORTH RIM – A runner up on debut in class F at Meslay-du-Maine over 2875m on 28 May. Can go one place better this time
  87. NOBEL CAMP – Disqualified in class E at Chartres over 2300m on 31 May. Did better before that and is not out of it if staying in stride
  88. NOT ALLOWED – Not disgraced when 5th in class E at Caen over 2450m on 16 May. Has not been disgraced so far a and can contest the finish
  89. NAUTILUS DES PRES – Disqualified on debut, in class F at Ecommoy over 2750m on 31 May. Capable of improvement but others make more appeal
    Summary: A very interesting lucky last race. NORTH RIM (6) shaped with plenty of promise when second to a useful type on debut at Meslay-du-Maine and sets a solid standard here. NARVIK DU BESSIN (5) made an impressive winning start at Alençon and is open to further progress, while NOT ALLOWED (8) had excuses when last seen at Caen and is worth another chance. NIRVANA GRIFF (1) is a reliable sort who should be involved in the finish once again.
