C1 – PRIX DE BUAIS – 2450m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Mounted – EUR € 29,000

  1. KOPRIORO – Not disgraced when fifth in a class F mounted race at Meslay-du-Maine over 2875m on 9 April. Did win over this course and distance before that and is not out of it
  2. JULIUS DU THEIL – Disqualified in a class E harness race at Graignes over 2725m on 22 May. Has major disqualification issues and others are preferred
  3. JUMBO DE LUNESE – Disqualified in a class F harness race at Saint-Malo over 2850m on 23 May. Reverts to barefoot and can contest the finish back under the saddle
  4. IRAFARA – Disqualified in four of last five starts, the latest in a class E harness race at Ecommoy over 2750m on 31 May. Others make more appeal
  5. KRISTALE D’ERABLE – Unreliable and fnished 6th in a class G mounted race at Le Mont-Saint-Michel over 2675m on 15 May. Might play a minor role
  6. KOREA – In good form and finished third in a class F mounted race at Cherbourg over 2625m on 6 April. Remains barefoot and has claims in thsi line-up
  7. KAP ORNE – Disqualified twice in last three starts, the latest in a class F harness race at Granville over 3100m on 24 May. Can be a threat on best form
  8. KOMEDIE SOMOLLI – Did not show her best when 6th in a class F mounted race at Laval over 2850m on 3 June. Reverts to barefoot and can be competitive
  9. KIKO DU VIGNAC – A winner of a class E mounted race at Beaumont-de-Lomagne over 2550m on 17 May. Returned to form and could follow up
  10. JAFLO GEMA – Has some fair form and finished third in a class E harness race at Meslay-du-Maine over 2875m on 28 May. Remains barefoot and could earn some money
    Summary: KOREA (6) has been faultless since switching to the mounted code. Consistent, reliable and proven in this code, she sets a high standard and is taken to extend her excellent run of form.
    The chief threat may come from KIKO DU VIGNAC (9), who makes the trip from the South-West with strong claims. KOPRIORO (1), a course-and-distance winner at the end of the winter, is another who merits serious consideration, having already shown his effectiveness under these conditions. KAP ORNE (7) is returning to a track that suits him particularly well and warrants attention.

  15. KINGSTON DU BOURG – Finished 9th in a class E over this course and distance on 30 May. Unreliable and needs to do more to score
  16. KILDARE – Very consistent of late and finished third in a class E over this track and trip on 30 May. Shoudl be in the final shake-up
  17. KING OF DAY – Unreliable but was a runner-up in a class E over thsi course and distance on 30 May. Can challenge for top honours again
  18. KUSAERI – Showed some improvement when a runner-up in a class E at Le Mont-Saint-Michel over 2675m on 25 May. Remains barefoot and can go one better
  19. KANKAN – Unplaced in a class E at Nantes over 3000m on 1 June. Battling to find best form and others make more appeal
  20. KAZAAL – Has only been modest of late and finished fifth in a class E at Le Neubourg over 3000m on 24 May. More is needed to beat these rivals
  21. KISS COOL MIJACK – Usually competitive and was third in a class E at Le Neubourg over 3000m on 24 May. Might play a minor role at very best
  22. KANNABIS JELOCA – Solid form this year and finished third in a class F at Granville over 3100m on 24 May. Remains barefoot and can make the frame once again
  23. KIMI DU DOME – Needed his last run when 9th in a class D at this track over 2200m on 29 May. Fitter this time nut others are preferred
  24. KENOR DESBOIS – Finished fourth in a class E at Salon-de-Provence over 2200m on 21 May. Probably needs to do a bit more to beat these rivals
    Summary: Although the least wealthy runner in the field, KEIGHT BLESS (1) possesses the ability to make his mark at this level and should be ideally suited by the right-handed configuration. KUSAERI (8) has shown his best form on flat tracks and looks set to play a major role once again. KING OF DAY (7) and KILDARE (6) both caught the eye with notable recent efforts over this course and appear difficult to leave out of calculations.

  36. KELLY CHARLY ERA – Successful last time out in a class D at Le Mans over 2950m on 21 May. Has shown improvement of late and is not out of it
    Summary: Recent course performers KINJAL DE BELLANDE (7) and KANELLE D’OUVILLE (6), respectively second and first over this track last time, look set to renew rivalry and should once again be at the forefront. The latter arrives with winning momentum, while the former has the consistency to turn the tables. KALITY D’ERABLE (9) is favourably treated by the conditions, making her a leading contender to capitalise should the principals fail to deliver their best. KALI DES LANDIERS (5) is fitted with a lighter shoeing arrangement and could find the improvement needed to score.

  50. HELLO DU GERS – Holding form and finished fourth in a class F at Reims over 2550m on 31 May. Remains barefoot but more might bee needed to beat these rivals
    Summary: JURILOVCA (3) appears to have been targeted for this assignment by Sébastien Ernault and looks primed to deliver a big performance. JAZZMAN (4) arrives in good form and has a proven liking for right-handed tracks, making him another leading contender. JARDYLAND (6) also enters calculations after catching the eye with a strong late effort last time, suggesting a return to peak form may be imminent. JAZERANE (10) returns to a track that suits well and could prove a danger if able to reproduce her best form.

    Summary: MILWAUKEE LEGEND (11) made a striking impression over this course last time and can follow up if overcoming a tricky draw. A repeat of that latest performance would make him the one to beat . MIRAGE DE BRAY (2) is a talented colt with plenty of ability and looks the main danger. MAMAMIA DES ARRIS (5) caught the eye with a strong late effort on her most recent outing and remains a live contender for the places. MIMI CHARMEUSE (6), a winner over this track earlier in the year, has already proven her effectiveness under these conditions and commands respect.

  76. KAISER – Victorious in a Class E at Chartres over 2825m on 26 April. A good win that day and would not be a surprise winner
  77. IVRE DE TOI – Off form and finished 8th in a Class A at Vichy over 3525m on 1 June. Needs to do more to win this race
  78. KNOCKONWOOD – Disqualified twice in last three starts, the latest at Enghien on 21 May. Not easy to trust and others make more appeal

  84. IDOLE DE MEAT – Disqualified at Vincennes on 6 May. Battling to find best form and needs majro improvement to win this race
    Summary: KAPORAL CARISAIE (8) has performed better than recent form figures suggest. Returning to a right-handed track under ideal conditions, he looks well placed to gain compensation and is taken as the selection. KISS ATOUT (3) remains lightly raced for his age after several interruptions to his career and still appears to have plenty in hand. KARAT DEFF (1) has been a model of consistency throughout the year and should once again give a good account. KAISER (10) rates the standout contender from the second row and warrants serious respect. KIWI DE CONNEE (2) is renowned for his toughness and enjoys an excellent partnership with Yoann Lebourgeois.

    Summary: MA PIECE D’OR (6) has already proven her effectiveness under saddle and is expected to play a major role in this company. With solid mounted credentials, she sets a strong standard . MADISON MONNERIE (7) returns from a lay-off but commands respect, particularly as she is set to race barefoot on her comeback, suggesting she is fit and ready. MOJITO DE BANVILLE (8) attracted attention with a promising effort in harness company last time and could make his presence felt back in this discipline. MINNEAPOLIS (13) is an intriguing contender with Mathieu Mottier, the reigning Champion Jockey, taking the ride.

    Summary: NARUTO UZUMAKI (5) impressed when opening his account at Meslay-du-Maine and looks capable of following up if building on that convincing success. Progressive and seemingly on the upgrade, he earns the vote to come out on top once again. NIKOS DE TROIS (3) represents the powerful Mathieu Mottier stable and rates a major threat. NIGHT FASHION (8) arrives on the back of a strong recent time figure that suggests he is ready to be competitive at this level. NEW YORKER (11) has been knocking on the door and appears close to landing a race of this nature.

    Summary: A competitive contest in which several hold realistic claims. JOLIE ROMAINE (11) failed to land a blow at Reims last time but is only partially unshod on this occasion and is capable of bouncing back. HAUGAIN (1) arrives in improving form and rates a major player, while JUNIOR DU CHERISAY (5) is expected to fare better with a lighter shoeing arrangement as connections seek a return to form. JUDICIEUSE ZAILER (3) is not the easiest to predict but would have strong claims if producing one of her better efforts.

    Summary: A small but competitive field where every runner has a chance of making an impact. Recent winner NICOU CHAK (4) bids to follow up that success and the booking of Matthieu Abrivard further enhances his prospects. However, NEUVAINE (3) has been knocking on the door and looks set to regain the winning thread before long. NIARKOS DU CEBE (1) continues to search for a deserved success and has the consistency to be heavily involved once again.
