Usually reliable, LOVA DE FROMENTEL (8) is best forgiven her recent disqualification and is a real threat, LAPSUS (9) is worth another chance on his return to mounted action. LUSKO (4), if keeping his mind on the job is also capable of getting involved with the finish over this course and distance.

  44. KALLISTEE – Remains in good shape and was runner-up in Class G at Feurs over 2850m on 20 June. Can go one better
Summary: Transferred to David Békaert after the winter, KATE METEOR (8) has fully blossomed and looks to have a fine opportunity to open her account. 55. LEMON DE LA VALLEE – Very consistent and finished third in Class E at Feurs over 2850m on 20 June. Should contest the finish once again.
Summary: LIKE A JULRY (10) was likely having an off day when beaten once but has since resumed winning ways and could record a ninth success in ten starts. Runner-up in that same race, LEMON DE LA VALLEE (11) should once again be in the thick of things. If keeping her stride, LUTIN QUICK (8) holds a winning chance. Summary: JOLI MEC D’AMOUR (8) is only partnered with David Békaert for major targets and, racing unshod, looks an obvious contender. However, this is far from straightforward against JIM JULRY (6), who is knocking at the door, and JUPITER FRANCE (5), who is expected to rediscover his form sooner rather than later. 72. L’ESPOIR – Disqualified four times in a row, the latest at Feurs over 2850m on 12 June. Hard to trust and others are preferred
Summary: A very open looking lucky last race. LORD DES FANES (8) had to battle for a year and a half before landing only the second win of his career and may well have finally unlocked the door to further success. He will, however, need to beware of the three fillies in opposition: LOLLIPOP DU CEBE (6), ideally configured in terms of shoeing; LOVA DE BOURGOGNE (4), transformed since going unshod; and LEYLI DE LA VALLEE (1), who is best not judged too harshly on recent efforts.

Summary: WINE AND ROSES (1) made a winning debut in a Class 5 hurdle at Dax earlier this month and is expected to improve for that experience. She looks capable of following up and rates the one to beat. The main threat could come from NIKARIA (8), who shaped with promise when finishing fourth on her debut at Nantes and is likely to have progressed from that initial outing. Summary: VISION DU RHEU (1) impressed when winning a Class 2 chase over 3900 metres at this track and holds strong claims of following up. The main threat may come from GARDONS LE SOURIRE (3), who scored over hurdles at Compiègne in late May and is also a capable performer over fences. BUBBLE PRETTY (6) arrives in excellent form having won her last two starts. Although this represents a tougher assignment, she cannot be overlooked. NIKKALUOKTA (4) is another worthy of consideration and has the ability to make her presence felt.

Summary: ROCKY RUN (3) disappointed in a recent Quinté+, but drops into a much more suitable contest here and benefits from an attractive opportunity in this amateur-riders’ event. He looks capable of bouncing back. The main threat could come from MAROON SIX (4), who is partnered by the ever-reliable Florent Guy, a notable asset in races of this nature. A proven performer on sand, PASSINGSHOT (5) is not making the trip for no reason and must be respected. If she handles this surface, LORIA (7) has the ability to make her presence felt.

  13. YUQUOT – Unplaced last time, a win before that at Nantes in a Class 3 race on May 11 over 1100m. Has work to do
Summary: TOKAIDO (1) impressed when winning a Listed contest at Chantilly and sets the standard here. The step up in distance is a slight question mark, but he looks to have the stamina and class to see out the 1,200 metres. His chief rival may be the highly regarded SCAPIN (2), who could take a significant step forward with the addition of blinkers. 19. MIYALAA – Four unplaced runs this year, the latter at Parislongchamp in a Class 3 race over 2500m on May 28. Can bounce back and be a threat
  20. SUNSHINE BABY – Unplaced last time a win previously over 2200m at Orleans in a Class 4 race on May 1.Outside place claims
Summary: GET SET (4) may lack recent form on the all-weather surface, but this track should play to his strengths, particularly during the summer when it tends to favour prominent racers. DREAMS (1) has to concede weight to his rivals, but there are no concerns regarding his current form, and he remains a major player. Runner-up in a Quinté+ last summer, MIYALAA (6) is still searching for a return to her best level, but her past achievements suggest she cannot be overlooked. ARTURO (3) returns to the course and distance of his latest victory and could prove a danger too.

Summary: LORD LINDETH (4) failed to make an impact on his debut last year in very heavy ground but that effort is best overlooked. Returning under more favourable conditions, he is one to watch closely. ARANYANI (7) is being dropped back in trip following her run at Dieppe and warrants plenty of respect. WINE PALACE (8) is well regarded and makes his racecourse debut so he is best to keep on the shortlist. CANADIAN (5) faces a much less demanding assignment this time around, making him a solid candidate for the minor honours.

She looks like the right candidate that will take some beating at the All-weather track. VATICANA (1) and ROYAL CHAPEL (6) are no strangers to each other when meeting in their last start and renew their rivalry here. Both contenders are selected to fill in the second and third place positions and certainly has the form to back them up to do so. FASHION CITY (4) can be applauded for a honest run in a Group I back at Parislongchamp and if the top choices fall asleep, she can awaken them.

Summary: EVERSTAR (1) redeemed himself when finishing third last time out and steps into a field where he can find himself being more competitive. He could add to his winning tally. TOIMY SON (6) was mighty unlucky when just finding one better than him but will seek vengeance this time around and be poisonous at the finishing post.
