Summary: WOOT WOOT (3) has every chance of going one better after being caught close home on her debut over this course and distance on June 2nd, when narrowly denied by QUEEN OF THE DAY (1). With the benefit of that experience, she can reverse the placings. QUEEN OF THE DAY (1) finished strongly to get the verdict and is sure to mount another bold challenge. SILENCIEUSE (4) was third in the same race and is entitled to improve with that debut run behind her. IMPA (7) boasts an appealing pedigree and is worth close consideration.

Although beaten by four lengths by the winner, it was a promising effort and he will know more this time. Back in third in the same race was SAN GIORGIO (6), who looks like the main threat with a few lengths to find. FIRE BULLET (1) can also step forward from his debut fifth and be on the premises. 31. BABY HARTWOOD – Has dropped in the handicap after four unplaced runs, the latter over 1800m on June 15 in a Class 3 handicap. Place chance at best
Summary: QUIET KING (1) is a capable performer and is better than his last two runs suggest. 58. NYMPHE DE COLMINE – Victorious twice in a row at Avenches, the latest over 2425m on 13 June. Tougher task but is not out of it
  59. NEAL DE TROUVILLE – Not disgraced when 5th in Class E at Amiens over 2400m on 8 June. Can get into the mix of things this time
  60. NUMBER TWO – Consistent and finished third in Class D at Feurs over 2850m on 12 June. Should fight out the finish once again
  61. NORMAND DEBELGRAVE – In very good form and was fourth in Class D at Vichy over 2950m on 18 June. Should be competitive once again
  62. NOUVEAU PRODIGE – Threatening a victory and was runner-up again, in Class D at Feurs over 2850m on 12 June. Can go one place better
Summary: NUMBER TWO (5) caught the eye with a strong late finish at Feurs last time and, with no 25-metre handicap to concede to NOUVEAU PRODIGE (7) on this occasion, looks capable of reversing the form with that rival, who impressed on his first two starts. Unlucky on his last two outings, NEAL DE TROUVILLE (4) could prove a revelation. NYMPHE DE COLMINE (3), from a yard in top form, also warrants respect.

Summary: A good best for thsi lucky last race. Unbeaten in four starts this year, KING DE JOUDES (10) sets a very high standard and looks the one they all have to beat, especially as he has already proven himself at Saint-Galmier. KAYAK (6) has been freshened up and is expected to bounce back in a race of this nature. Racing barefoot, JOLLY LOOK (7) is worth another chance. Recent winner at Jullianges, JALIX DE NIOUX (2) would have solid claims for a good placing if he keeps his stride.
    SELECTIONS – KING DE JOUDES (10) – KAYAK (6) – JOLLY LOOK (7) – JALIX DE NIOUX (2)
