French Selections Wednesday 15th

R1 LISIEUX [R-H]

C1 – PRIX EQUIP HORSE – 2725m (a1m1/2) – – Harness – EUR € 20,000

  1. NIDILLERO – Qualified respectably in April, but was eliminated on debut at Vire on 8 June. Trainer back in the bike and not an obvious choice
  2. NIMOKO STAR – Has yet to show any particular flair for the game and can be confidently disregarded
  3. NEUF DE COEUR – Modest type making first appearance since being eliminated in a Class F at Toulouse over 2325m on 20 March and can expect to have few friends
  4. NINJA DEFF – Nicely-related type that came 2nd in a Class F at Graignes over 2700m on 4 July. Is unlikely to lose his maiden status but can still contest a place on the podium
  5. NOLDO D’ECHAL – Excellent runner-up in a Class F at Vichy over 2950m on 29 June. Is clearly an interesting future prospect and on good behaviour can make a big impact
  6. NORIANO BELLO – Runner-up in a Class F at Saint Malo over 2950m on 9 July. Is clearly beginning to find his feet and the choice of driver will not have gone unnoticed. Claim
  7. NOBLE DIABLE MEF – Produced best performance of his career when third in a Class F at Graignes over 2700m on 20 June but looks marginally less-competitive this time around
  8. NOBODY DU NOYER – Has placed just twice in 7 public outings. Finished 6th in a Class E at Le Mont St Michel over 2600m on 30 June and will need to find considerably more
  9. NOOKER DREAM – Eliminated more often than not, and ran the third in a monte Class D at Enghien over 2250m on 23 June. Is reunited with Laurent-Michel David who placed with him at Cabourg last December, but others still easier to back
  10. NEW WORLD – Was third in a Class E at Laval over 2850m on 25 June after having lost his action at Caen. Trainer in the bike again and has a reasonable chance of getting off the mark
  11. NEMROD DE L’AUMOY – Was unable to confirm Durtal success when 4th in a Class E at Graignes over 2700m on 6 June. Has limited experience on a hard surface but in current condition is easy to like for a first-5 payout
Summary: There is little to choose between NORIANO BELLO (6), who has Mathieu Mottier in the bike, NEW WORLD (10), who appears more than capable of holding his own at this level, the progressive NOLDO D’ECHAL (5), who is fitted with pads for the first time, and NINJA DEFF (4), who continues to improve.

    C2 – PRIX DE SAINT DESIR – 2675m (a1m1/2) – – Harness – EUR € 20,000
  12. MIKONOS DE MAHEY – Made up for Ecommoy elimination when 2nd in a Class F over 2725m here on 2 July. Goes shod once more and should not be underestimated
  13. MAGIC CASH QUICK – Eliminated in a Class D on re-entry at Vincennes over 2850m on 9 June. Is clearly the class element here and, with application, can bring home the bacon
  14. MAYA DE LA NOE – Failed to confirm Chateaubriant success when eliminated in a Class E at Feurs over 2100m on 3 July. Has been allocated a good number behind the car and, if behaved, will be no pushover
  15. MILLION DREAMS – Would have finished in the money at Caen last time had he kept his action together. Trainer could not have wished for a better entry and from the 4-spot can make a big splash
  16. MICKEY DE CRENNES – Rather disappointing since imposing at Graignes on 22 May. Shoes have been fitted this time and chances appear limited
  17. MALICE DELADOU – Has taken her game up a level since starting to race barefoot, latterly 4th in a Class F at Cherbourg over 2625m on 14 June. Starts in front, reunited with Yoann Lebourgeois, and will be no easy touch if she turns
  18. MONSEIGNEUR MADRIK – Not disgraced when fifth in a Class D over 2725m here on 7 June. Enjoys a front-line start, and goes barefoot for the first time, but others still easier to support
  19. MASCOTTE DE BOLERO – Has enjoyed something of a resurgence over recent months. Returns to racing shod as she was when successful at Graignes in late-May and although in better company should nevertheless hold her own
  20. MOLLY DU CAUX – Serious filly that goes as well right-handed as left- but has run just once in the past year and will be race-rusty
  21. MA BELLA DE JED – Has been a complete write-off since winning at Saint-Galmier in February and can be ignored
  22. MARHABATH – No slouch on a good day, won at Amiens in April, but was unexceptional here a fortnight ago and even though reconfigured still looks an outsider
  23. MAURITANIE – Won twice to kick off 2026 but has subsequently failed to deliver in better company and can expect to have few takers
  24. MANHATTAN PIYA – Spirited but talented sort making first appearance since last October. Sports a fresh configuration, and despite a 2nd row draw should not disgrace himself
  25. MALINE DE JED – Heavily-campaigned type that has failed to impress for the most part this season and will have nothing to offer
  26. MEDOC PIERJI – Is undeniably capable but is a handful at the best of times, and recent results do nothing to inspire confidence
  27. MEC D’ERLANGER – Has pulled a rough number but has been in cracking form lately. Will be reunited with Matthias Legros who won with him at Nancy and with a good run could pleasantly surprise
Summary: MAGIC CASH QUICK (2) made a very encouraging start for Mathieu Mottier when scoring stylishly at Vincennes in November and, sporting a fresh formula, will be expected to make amends for a disappointing seasonal reappearance. MILLION DREAMS (4), who is exceptionally well-treated under the race conditions, being just €5 from the earnings ceiling, heads the opposition ahead of the complicated but talented MAYA DE LA NOE (3), and MALICE DELADOU (6), who is well-positioned with Yoann Lebourgeois in the bike.

    C3 – PRIX DE REUX – 2675m (a1m1/2) – – Harness – EUR € 23,000
  28. LUCIA DU CHATELET – Defied her odds to run second in a Class F at Montier En Der over 3025m on 5 July, but confirmation is highly unlikely
  29. LET’S GO SMART – Surprise fourth in a Class E at Pornichet over 2725m on 8 July, however a repeat seems improbable
  30. LASKOVA – Outclassed the opposition in a Class F at Montmirail over 3200m on 28 June, 3 weeks after having imposed under the saddle. Is ideally-placed in front and looks a serious proposition
  31. LUTECE D’OUVILLE – Finished 10th, on re-entry, in a Class E at Cabourg over 2750m on 3 July. Goes barefoot this time, enjoys a top spot behind the car, and can give this a good go
  32. LITTLE ROAD – Ran 2nd at Angers then won twice at Amiens, most recently making short work of a Class E over 2400m on 11 June, and has a realistic chance of winning this too
  33. LA GUARDIA – Only modest of late, finishing 9th in a Class E at Argentan over 2800m on 11 May, and can expect to have few friends
  34. LUBIE DE CELINIERE – Disqualified in a Class E at Tours Chambray over 2800m on 10 May. Has not been seen out since but is reunited with Benjamin Rochard, for whom she excels, and must be taken seriously
  35. LA PERLA DE LOU – Finished 3rd in a Class E at Chartres over 2800m on 28 June. Mathieu Mottier reins this time and despite the draw must not be underestimated
  36. LUANA SPORT – Finished 7th in a Class E at Craon over 2775m on 6 July when being prepared for this. Has a lot going for her this time and will be no soft touch if David Thomain successfully navigates the start
  37. LOVELY KOOL – Came fourth in a Class E at Chartres over 2800m on 28 June, but is plainly taking on too much this time
  38. LINE MAJYC – Has not been seen out since being eliminated in a Class D at Enghien over 2250m on 16 October and with shoes on will have nothing to contribute
  39. LUTTE IMPERIALE – Had been on a fine run of form since finishing 8th in a Class E at Enghien over 2875m on 29 June. Is new to Lisieux and can get in on the action if she takes to the new conditions
  40. LUCKY LADY D’AMOUR – Was eliminated at Pornichet earlier in the month after having imposed under the saddle and best to keep one’s powder dry
Summary: LITTLE ROAD (5), who continues to improve, and LASKOVA (3), equally effective in both codes, are both bidding to complete a hat-trick of victories. They will, however, need to be wary of a barefoot LUANA SPORT (9) who is capable of bouncing back with David Thomain in the bike, and LUBIE DE CELINIERE (7), whose prospects depend entirely on whether she stays in stride.
    SELECTIONS
    LITTLE ROAD (5) – LASKOVA (3) – LUANA SPORT (9) – LUBIE DE CELINIERE (7)
    C4 – PRIX DE LA CONFRERIE DU CAMEMBERT – 2675m (a1m1/2) – – Harness – EUR € 23,000
  41. LANDSMAN – Was runner-up in a Class E at Vire over 2800m on 8 June, to complement his performance at Le Mont-Saint-Michel 2 weeks earlier, and it is just a matter of time before he gets his nose in front. Chance
  42. LABORANTIN – Has been a total disappointment since imposing at Caen in March and even going barefoot has no possible chance
  43. LE GRAND AMOUR – Came 2nd at Caen before finishing 11th in a Class D at Le Mont St Michel over 2600m on 30 June and will have little to contribute
  44. LEADER DE L’AUMOY – Eliminated in a Class E at Craon over 2775m on 6 July. Has form in the day’s configuration but others still preferred
  45. LOTUS DU RIB – Eliminated in a Class E at Enghien over 2875m on 29 June with the race at his mercy. Has a particular liking for Lisieux and from the 5 slot can make this his own
  46. LEADER BEACH – Eliminated twice in last three starts, the latest a Class E at Craon over 2775m on 6 July. Has nothing to prove at this level and on good behaviour will be no pushover
  47. L’AIGLE PASS – Finished 5th in a Class F at Pornichet over 2725m on 2 July, his first objective of the season. Yoann Lebourgeois at the helm this time, but still not an obvious choice
  48. LOOK MATYSS – 8th in a Class E at Craon over 2775m on 6 July, his first appearance since December. Not ideally-drawn but still has the wherewithal to get a look in
  49. LEADER DE MARZY – Runner-up in a Class F at Pornichet over 2725m on 2 July, his first start since late-April. Will have improved for the race and in the hands of his trainer is unlikely to disappoint. Place chance
  50. LUGANO DU CADRAN – Pleasant in both starts since the layoff, latterly fourth in a Class E at Vichy over 2150m on 29 June. Will be shod as he was at Amiens and can again make first 5
  51. LUNDU DE LOU – 6th in a Class E at Vichy over 2150m on 29 June. Is not the most courageous of horses and is not about to spring any surprises
Summary: LOTUS DU RIB (5) would have imposed at Enghien had he kept trotting and can make amends on his return to a right-handed track. Noé Perron will need to be wary though of LANDSMAN (1), who is plainly close to his race, the complicated but reconfigured LEADER BEACH (6) whose trainer could not have wished for a better entry, and LEADER DE MARZY (9), who is not far off winning his third of the year.
    SELECTIONS
    LOTUS DU RIB (5) – LANDSMAN (1) – LEADER BEACH (6) – LEADER DE MARZY (9)
    C5 – PRIX DE CANAPVILLE – 2725m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 23,000
  52. KSAR UNICK – Has been out of sorts and finished 10th in a Class D at Chartres over 2825m on 28 June. Disregard
  53. KARAMEL DIDO – Was second in a Class H at Villedieu Les Poeles over 2800m on 3 July, his 4th straight place in the picture. Pleased in the amateur category here during the spring and from the front row can figure prominently
  54. KAIROS DU PERCHE – Only modest 7th in a Class G at Lisieux over 2675m on 2 July. Is not an obvious choice but a repeat of his Villedieu performance would see him get a look in
  55. KIRELLA – Finished 7th in a Class F at Chinon over 3125m on 5 July following 2 straight places. Cannot be considered a priority but from the front row could pleasantly surprise
  56. KRAC GAILLARD – Should not be too hastily-condemned for finishing 7th in a Class F at Enghien over 2875m on 29 June. Has otherwise been in fine shape and with Benjamin Rochard in the bike will be no easy touch
  57. KYUSHU – Eliminated on re-entry a month ago in a Villedieu-les-Poëles Class F. Will have progressed for the run but still appears to have her work cut out
  58. KOLMI DES EPINES – Moderate fifth in a Class F at Graignes over 2725m on 4 July. Has never shown any liking for Lisieux and is unlikely to start now
  59. KARAT DEFF – Has been knocking at the door since the start of the year. Is reunited with David Thomain after finishing 4th in a Class E at Laval over 2850m on 5 July and has every chance of getting his nose in front
  60. KELLER DE L’ITON – Has won 2 of last 3, both going right-handed, most recently securing a Class D at Mont St Michel over 2600m on 30 June. Should appreciate Lisieux profile and despite the handicap can play a leading role
  61. KENTUCKY SOMOLLI – Won a Class H at Avranches over 2700m on 21 June after having scored at Vitre a month earlier. Incurs the penalty but can still compete for a spot on the podium
  62. KOQUIN DU PERCHE – Finished 6th in a monte Class F at Angers over 3125m on 28 January. Always gives what he can but in this code will have nothing to offer
  63. KETBERNY – Showed improvement when fifth in a Class E at Laval over 2850m on 5 July. Is clearly back on the right road and the engagement couldn’t be better
Summary: KARAT DEFF (8), who deserves to be rewarded for his recent consistency, and KELLER DE L’ITON (9), currently at the top of his game, will attempt to concede distance to a barefoot KRAC GAILLARD (5) who endured nothing but misfortune in an amateur event at Enghien last time. KENTUCKY SOMOLLI (10), who returns to a hard surface after imposing twice on turf, must be afforded respect.
    SELECTIONS
    KARAT DEFF (8) – KELLER DE L’ITON (9) – KRAC GAILLARD (5) – KENTUCKY SOMOLLI (10)
    C6 – PRIX DES VANS BARBOT – 2725m (a1m1/2) – – Mounted – EUR € 26,000
  64. ROCKY OASIS – In the frame in last 3 monte starts. Arthur Rebeche aboard this time but is being aimed too high
  65. KOALA DES ARCS – Eliminated in a Class F at Pornichet over 2725m on 8 July. Can trot when focused, sports pads this time, but others still preferred
  66. JAGUAR PIYA – Gave a good account despite being eliminated on comeback at Caen on 18 June. Is not a priority but with application should not be far from the action
  67. JUDGE DREDD SISU – Not the most courageous of horses but always gives his best. Sports modified shoeing but still looks an outsider
  68. KING OF JIEL – Has looked a shadow of his former self so far this year and can be ruled out
  69. KENTUCKY DANICA – Superb campaigner making Lisieux debut in excellent shape. Excels with Mathieu Mottier and should take all the beating
  70. KENIDILLE – Got back in the winners’ circle at Enghien after flying up in a 2875m Class D late last month. Benjamin Rochard in the bike again but looks more a place chance this time around
  71. KRUNCH DE L’ITON – Complicated element but imposed last time here, has been superb this year, and returns to racing clockwise with a good hand to play
  72. KOMEDIE SOMOLLI – Has been knocking at the door over recent months, latterly third in a Class E at Caen over 2450m on 10 June. Is new to the venue, but goes well right-handed, and will be competitive for a cheque
  73. KRISTALE D’ERABLE – Took a couple of runs to get back in shape, but is clearly close to her race, and will be shod as she was at Caen. Chance
  74. DAREIOS DI POGGIO – Makes French debut after a pair of modest runs at home in Sweden and is unlikely to spice things up
  75. ELLEN RIPLEY – Sports a fresh configuration after coming 4th in a Class D at Enghien over 2875m on 26 June. Is unlikely to get her nose in front but will have her supporters
  76. JOJO DE L’AUNAY – Particularly disappointing so far in 2026 and can be disregarded
  77. JIZUKE JIEL – Threatening to win and was runner-up in a Class G at Saint-Galmier over 2650m on 28 June. Takes on a better bunch here but enjoys a good entry and cannot be discounted
  78. CHARLES OP – Well-engaged but has looked ordinary so far this season and can be passed over
Summary: KENTUCKY DANICA (6), an impressive winner at Caen last time, looks capable of following up. A reconfigured KRISTALE D’ERABLE (10), who appears to be returning to her best, the ultra-consistent KRUNCH DE L’ITON (8), sporting a new formula with Alexandre Abrivard reining, and KENIDILLE (7), a recent winner under Benjamin Rochard, are all expected to play leading roles.

    C7 – PRIX DU PMU AU GRAND CHAPEAU LIEUREY – 2725m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 34,000
  79. KASH QUICK – Made it 4 wins from last 5 starts when victorious in a Class F at Chinon over 3100m on 5 July. Has won those 4 with 4 separate drivers, starts in front here, and Franck Nivard could well make that 5
  80. KINGSTON DE BLARY – Finished 5th in a Class C at Vincennes over 2700m on 19 June. Has been most impressive in last 4 clockwise starts and has already won over course and distance. Attention
  81. KLASSE DE BRUZEAU – Runner-up in a Class E at Vincennes over 2100m on 21 March. Starts in front here but in this category will have little to contribute
  82. KLASSICA BLEUE – Runner-up in a Class D at Enghien over 2150m on 1 July following 2 straight sanctions. Is hard to fault when focused, has shown more in current configuration, and from the front line can play a prominent role
  83. KALITA D’HENINEL – Has been enjoying a decent run of form, latterly surprise 3rd in a Class D at Cabourg over 2750m on 3 July, but may just be taking on too much this time
  84. KNOCKONWOOD – Produced quite the surprise when fourth in a Class D at Cabourg over 2750m on 3 July. Incurs a penalty this time and can expect to find this a stiff test
  85. KEEP YOUR DREAMS – Has not put a foot wrong since being entrusted to Mathieu Mottier. Runner-up in a Class D at Graignes over 2700m on 6 June but can impose this time
  86. IDEAL BOY – Runner-up in last two, latterly 2nd in a Class E at Chateaubriant over 3000m on 7 June. Is partnered again by Alexis Jacky David who ran 2nd with him at Vannes and is unlikely to be far off the mark
  87. ISIS D’HERFRAIE – Eliminated in a Class D at Cherbourg over 2625m on 24 June. Has been out of sorts since returning from her winter break and needs to get her house in order
  88. GUAPO MARBOULA – Disqualified in an Enghien claimer over 2875m on 25 June, his first start since 10 April, but can still be ruled out
  89. JOYCE DELTO – Sent for a spell after winning Chateaubriant leg of Gr.3 GNT in April. Has been re-shod following her recent comeback and is worth keeping an eye on
  90. IRIS DES ROSEAUX – Finished 3rd in a Groupe III at Laval over 2850m on 3 June. Has taken little time getting back to his best and could well impose
Summary: KEEP YOUR DREAMS (7), who is on the way up and who will race barefoot for only the second time in his career, IRIS DES ROSEAUX (12), superbly-engaged and excellent in the GNT leg at Laval, and Thierry Duvaldestin’s other runner, KASH QUICK (1), who is bidding for a fourth consecutive victory, are expected to fight out the finish. The admirably-consistent KINGSTON DE BLARY (2) looks next best.

    C8 – PRIX DE COQUAINVILLIERS – 2675m (a1m1/2) – – Harness – EUR € 32,000
  91. JAINA D’ESSARTS – Won twice over 2725m here before coming 3rd in a Caen Class F on 18 June. Not ideally-drawn but still starts in front and has a realistic chance of imposing
  92. JONAGOLD – Has really struggled and finished 16th in a Class F at Durtal over 2825m on 21 June. Is barefoot this time but can still be ruled out
  93. JACKSON TOUCH – Unable to confirm Morlaix victory when 6th in a Pornichet Class F a week ago. Is not a priority but is not one to be discounted either
  94. JOLIE QUEEN – Finished 4th in a Class F at Pornichet over 2650m on 8 July after having acquitted herself respectably at Enghien, but in this company can expect to find the going a bit tougher
  95. JADE – Could only manage 8th in a Class F at Caen over 2450m on 22 June, his first start for 2 months. Will have progressed for the run, benefits from a good spot on the front row, and will not be far off the mark
  96. JALACTIC – In decent form and finished 3rd in a Class G at Bernay over 2800m on 28 June, but will have more to find here
  97. JADE D’ERABLE – Has started to show improvement, most recently running fourth in a Class H at Granville over 3125m on 28 June. Breaks wide but is plainly in shape and should prove dangerous when push comes to shove
  98. JAZZ SESSION – Finished 4th in a Class E at Vichy over 2150m on 24 June. has hardly put a foot wrong all year and is unlikely to let the side down. Place prospect
  99. JOUR DES RACQUES – Showed some improvement when fourth in a Class F at Nancy over 2600m on 26 June, but on this occasion will struggle to make his presence felt
  100. JOYAU DU RIB – Returns to a track he likes after running 4th in an Enghien claimer 2.5 weeks ago but is unlikely to spring any surprises
  101. JURELLA DE PALM – Disqualified in a Class F at Lisieux over 2675m on 2 July after having imposed at Vichy, and can more than make amends if kept trotting. Claim
  102. JOYCE PILE – In the frame in 2 before finishing 13th in a Class E at Montmirail over 3200m on 28 June. Will be configured as she was at Vichy and must be taken seriously
  103. JOCASTE DAIRPET – Got the year off to a good start but has subsequently lost her way and from the back row is unlikely to create an upset
  104. JULIAN DARK – Disqualified twice in last three starts, the latest a Class F at Arras over 2900m on 21 June, and will have few friends
Summary: JURELLA DE PALM (11) is never entirely straightforward, but Benjamin Rochard got the best out of her at Vichy on 18 June. If she keeps her action together, she should make up for her recent elimination here. JAINA D’ESSARTS (1) has more than enough ability for a race of this nature, but she can be awkward at the start and has been handed a tough draw. JADE D’ERABLE (7) and JAZZ SESSION (8) both start wide but are still competitively well in. JOYCE PILE (12) completes the shortlist.

She is therefore preferred to LA GENETTE (2), who is more experienced than her rivals today. NAEROBI SIBEY (3) comes from a formidable stable and could be a threat on debut.. KANAGA (1) made an impressive winning debut but will have to carry a fair amount of weight this time.

Summary: A competitive looking race. Runner-up on debut last month CLOTH OF MAI (2) will logically attract strong support.
