  5. HOLY ROMANISED – Finished well downfield in 9th over 1800m in Prague, Czech Republic on the 18th of July 2026. Will be a surprise winner
  6. NIIA – In good form and finished 3rd in a Class 4 Handicap at Du Lion D’Angers over 1400m on 24 July 2026. Can run into the money
    Summary: ELUSIVE NELSON (2) was a winner three starts back and seems an uncomplicated ride for the new rider. On his best form, he can get the job done. PERGOLOR (4) has dropped nicely in the ratings and looks to be off the right mark to challenge. His current form can be taken with a pinch off salt. EL MEASTRO (3) hasn’t been too far off the main bunch this year and should be involved. NIIA (6) showed a return to form with a solid run and if in the same heart then she can have a say in the outcome.

  9. SHAMAS – Poor effort in 9th over 1200m in Milan, Italy on debut on the 7th of June 2026. Will need to improve significantly
  10. NO SOLO – Finished 4th in a Maiden at Clairefontaine over 1600m on 3 July 2026. Open to improvement and will challenge
  11. NAVAJOE – Finished 8th in a Maiden at Le Touquet over 1300m on 26 July 2026. This appears to be a warm race and he will struggle
  12. KATON – Dam won three times over 2200m/2400m which included two wins at Listed level. Should be involved on debut
  13. KERHOULEN – Dam raced three times without showing anything and it’s hard to see this newcomer featuring first up. One to pass by
    Summary: SAN GIORGIO (2) has produced two promising runs to date and is heading on the right track. He ticks a lot of boxes and will be the one to beat. KATON (6) is a newcomer who hails from a strong yard and should know his job on debut. He can give the favorite a lot to think about. QUINTE FLUSH AAS (1) showed plenty of ability first up and would have tightened up with that run under the belt. He will be in the firing line. NO SOLO (4) can step forward on his debut run to earn a cheque.

  27. FREEZE THE MOMENT – Solid run in 3rd over 1600m at Vittel in a Class 3 conditional on the 19th of July 2026. This is tougher
  28. NEBULAE – Successful in a Class 3 at Clairefontaine over 1600m on the 6th of July 2026. Will have more to offer and can go well
  29. LADY TEDSMORE – Only modest of late, finishing 9th in a Class 2 at Compiegne over 1400m on the 10th of July 2026. Will struggle to challenge
    Summary: HELLO AVENUE (7) just found one too good as she looked to return to winning ways. She is in useful form at present and rates as one of the leading lights. VALDORCIA (1) finished just in behind the top pick last time out and from the ace gate, she should get all the favors and can potentially turn the form around. FAOLIO (13) has been holding solid form since winning and remains with quite a bit of scope for improvement. KIANDA (9) is far better than her latest effort and will be more at home in this company. She will make her presence felt big time. BON VIVEUR (3) needs to be forgiven for an under par latest effort and is better judged on prior form which will see him earning.

  37. BLACK LIVES MATTER – Unplaced in a Class 4 Handicap at Longchamp over 2000m on 2 July 2026. Will be a shock winner on current form
  38. KARIOITAHI – Has struggled of late and finished 8th in a Class 3 Handicap at Saint-Cloud over 2400m on 28 June 2026. Faces an uphill task
  39. BECH RIVER – Finished 5th in a Class 4 Handicap at Vichy over 2000m on 23 July 2026. Others inspire more confidence for the win
    Summary: ARGYRON (1) is an old campaigner but still has that zest for racing and is this company, he should be bang there at the finish. ROYAL RIGHT (7) last won in 2024 but his recent performances suggest that another win is near and he should be respected. HADYA (2) is best forgiven for her latest performance and would be a serious threat if reproducing her prior form. PANGAEA (4) hasn’t shaped up off late but is the type of horse if on song then he could win a race of this nature.

  47. ANNA GLORIA – A two-year-old filly by Victor Ludorum out of Al Daiha who is making her debut. Her Dam never won after ten starts. Can be a threat
  48. JUST YET – A two-year-old filly by Holy Roman Emperor out of Astonished who is making her debut. Her Dam won once in just four starts. Might earn some minor money
  49. BUKORISHIA – A two-year-old filly by Wootton Bassett out of Burmese Ruby who is making her debut. Her Dam won once in just three starts. Can score
    Summary: A niece of Intelligence Cross, a Group 3 winner, the unraced BUKORISHIA (10) could further enhance the reputation of sire Wootton Bassett. ANNA GLORIA (8), a daughter of Victor Ludorum, is another debutante to note with interest. MICHELADA (4) was held up by weakening rivals on the turn at Cholet but finished strongly and should appreciate this step up in trip. MAGIEL (1) also has a smart turn of foot and is worth keeping in mind in a race full of potential.

  56. INSTANT FRAGILE – Finished 9th in a Group 3 at Saint-Cloud over 1,600m on 29 March. Returns from a break and could need this run
    Summary: The talented PHINEAS (2) has faced little resistance since returning to action and can maintain his unbeaten record as a gelding, though recent Saint-Cloud winner MONT DE SOLEIL (3) looks the chief threat. PETIT MARIN (6), tenacious in a Group 3 at Dortmund in late June, should strip fitter for his comeback and be a threat. TREBLE TEE (5) is worth a second look, even if his best form has come over 1600m.

  63. ALLA STELLA – A runner-up last time out in a Listed race at Chantilly over 2100m on 19 July. Should contest the finish once again
  64. UNDERSTUDY – Threatening to score and was runner-up in a Class 2 Conditions race at Clairefontaine-Deauville over 2900m on 11 July. Can go one place better
    Summary: Isolated in the centre of the track here on July 11th, UNDERSTUDY (8) looked the likely winner that day and should be well suited by this shorter trip. In what looks a wide-open Listed contest, she will still need to see off the tough ALLA STELLA (7), who steps beyond 2,100 metres for the first time. KARLA JET (1) boasts an excellent record at this venue, having won two of her three starts here. LE COMBAT CONTINUE (5) is likely to have been primed for this target and must also be respected.

  77. L’ANNONCIADE – Finished 11th in a Maiden at Compiegne over 1,800m on 20 June. Capable of improvement but others are preferred
  78. WOOD MING – Victorious in a handicap at Compiegne over this distance on 16 July. Not reliable and is capable of being a threat to these rivals
  79. ROMANCIER NOCTURNE – Unreliable but finished 4th in a handicap at this course over 1400m on 6 July. can earn some more minor money
  80. DIVA CHIQUITA – Victorious in a handicap at this course over 1800m on 3 July. clearly unreliable but cannot be ruled out
    Summary: Partnered with Cristian Demuro for the first time, SONO IO (6) shaped well in a recent handicap and now drops into this second division with solid claims. VERY PRETTY (1), a consistent sort, should give another good account on her handicap debut. PASANG (8) hinted at improvement last time and could have more to offer. The supplemented SENTOSA (10) looks an interesting new recruit to handicaps as well. A tricky lucky last race.

  2. NICOU CHAK – Was pulled up after being eliminated in a Class D over course and distance 10 days ago. Is patently in form though and will be no pushover if kept trotting
  3. NEMOS DU GOUTIER – Sports 4 pads for the first time after coming 8th in a Class C over course and distance on 1 July. Is better than the result would suggest and can begin to put things right
  4. NOBEL SPEED – Kicked the season off superbly but eliminated in last 2. Will be reunited with Eric Raffin though and will have a lot to contribute if kept focused
  5. NEWTON ELLIS – Eliminated in both starts this summer, most recently a 2250m monte Class C here mid-month, and will struggle to make his presence felt
  6. NINO DU CHOQUEL – Sent for a break after being eliminated in a Class A at Vincennes over 2,700m on 28 April. Is back at a more reasonable level for re-entry and must be considered a priority
  7. NEPTUNE AU VENT – Good, consistent element making Enghien debut after running fifth in a Class C at Vichy over 2,950m on 1 July. Is confirmed going left-handed and can compete for minor honours
  8. NINO DE LARRE – 6th in a Class C over 2,150m here on 11 July 2026. Always gives his best but faces a stiffer test this time around
  9. NEBBIO DU LIAMONE – Won a claimer over track and trip 6 days before coming fourth in a Class C at Vichy over 2,950m on 1 July. Returns to racing shod though and best to hold off
    Summary: Returning to action after a well-earned spell, NEWTON DES FORGES (1) should appreciate the Enghien profile and can get straight down to business. NINO DU CHOQUEL (6) has already imposed under these conditions and is worth following from the outset. NICOU CHAK (2) should not be judged too harshly for breaking into a gallop last time. NOBEL SPEED (4) sports pads for the first time and has every chance of finishing in the money.

  11. MISTER DU BAS BOSQ – Not without merit but eliminated in 4 of last 5 starts. Has never been disgraced at Enghien though, reverts to a previous formula, and is worth monitoring
  12. MARECHAL TURGOT – Facile winner of a Class D at Cabourg over 2,750m on 14 July. Ran 3rd over shorter here on re-entry and is thoroughly capable of winning a race of this nature
  13. MARVELOUS – Has not been seen out since running fifth in a Class C at Vincennes over 2,200m on 14 April. Is confirmed over course and distance and should be competitive at the business end of the race
  14. MYGIRL DES FORGES – Unplaced in a Class D under these conditions on 11 July. Has failed to make good on her promise and with shoes fitted is unlikely to shake things up
  15. MUST D’HERMES – Never far from faulting but has bags of ability. Was eliminated in a Class C over shorter here 2 weeks ago but sports a fresh configuration and is not to be overlooked
  16. MINDELO – Unplaced in a Class D at Cabourg over 2,725m on 21 July, his first start since the winter break. Is barefoot this time but still not a concern
  17. MAURICETTE BLUE – Finished 5th in a Class C over 2,250m here on 18 July but still has a lot more to find
  18. MILANTERA – Fourth in a Class C at Agen Le Passage over 2,575m on 20 June. Has not imposed for over a year but in present shape is easy to like for a place in the frame
    Summary: This looks an open contest, with plenty holding serious claims. A tentative vote goes to MARECHAL TURGOT (3) whose consistency and current form cannot be ignored. Returning from a break, MILLESIMA (1), partnered by Mathieu Mottier, MILANTERA (9), who has been reunited with Eric Raffin for this excellent entry, and MARVELOUS (4), entrusted to Benjamin Rochard, all have a realistic chance of finishing close.

  20. MIKA DE LA VALLEE – Has pleased for the most part over recent months, latterly third in a Class D under these conditions on 4 July, and looks principal threat to MONTJOIE (3)
  21. MONTJOIE – Made short work of a Class E at Enghien over 2,875m on 9 July, following 11 months off the track. Will have come on for the run and will be expected to confirm
  22. MISTHOS CHRISTAL – Unlucky 6th in a Class D at Cabourg over 2,725m on 21 July. Had run 2nd over track and trip earlier in the month and from the 4 slot can set the record straight
  23. MY NAME IS BOND – Has looked ordinary this season, latterly 6th in a claimer over 2,150m here on 29 June, and it is hard to make a case for him
  24. MILLENIUM GALAXY – 3rd in a Class B at Vichy over 2,950m on 30 June. Has been in flying form since the start of the year and from the front line can give this a good go
  25. MAXOU DES IFS – Trounced in a claimer over 2,150m here on 29 June and in this company has no realistic chance
  26. MAVERICK ELLIS – Finished 4th in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,700m on 12 June. Not always the easiest of horses to use but will not be far from the action if Antonin Andre keeps him focused
  27. MARCHAND DE REVE – Won a Vincennes Class C earlier in the year but has been disqualified in 6 starts since, the latest a Class D over course and distance on 4 July. Has bags of talent though and the change of yard may be just what the doctor ordered
  28. MOJITO DE BANVILLE – Failed to place when denied a run in a Class D under these conditions on 25 July. Has otherwise been in good shape and can make his presence felt if kept out of harm’s way
    Summary: MONTJOIE (3) made a victorious return to competition here recently and has every chance of repeating. Brave and consistent, MIKA DE LA VALLEE (2) is expected to give another good account, while MISTHOS CRISTAL (4), a proven speedster, also commands respect. Newly arrived in Laurent Abrivard’s yard, MARCHAND DE REVE (9) may not be easy to handle but he has no shortage of ability and represents an interesting outsider.

  31. LA GARBO – Imposed at Nantes in early-June but failed to confirm when eliminated in a 2875m Class D here on 23 June and others easier to trust

    Summary: An absolute dynamo this season, the exciting NEBRASKA DE GINIER (7) can complete the Gr.3 four-timer following victories in the Prix de Prix de Gien, Prix de Rome, and Prix Henri Cravoisier.   65. KING BABEL – Finished 3rd in a Class D over course and distance on 11 July. Has enjoyed a rich vein of form this year and will be reunited with Eric Raffin with whom he won last December

    Summary: KNOW EVER (7) could well have pulled off the hat-trick in a Quinté+ here 3 weeks ago had he not faulted, but Gabriele Gelormini will be determined to set the record straight. In good form, KOCKTAIL WOOD (9) and the consistent KING FROMENTRO (10) are both leading contenders.     Summary: PANZERINA (7) was an unfortunate loser on debut and, provided she has recovered fully from that mishap, she looks capable of dominating this lucky last race field. . L’AULNAIE (1) deserves another chance and can contest the finish. The well-bred LA CHORALE (2), and BRICCONCELLA (4), who has performed well in competitive claiming races, are worth considering for the minor honours.

    Summary: MUST DE BANVILLE (13) showed plenty of determination to get the better of a talented rival at Cabourg and, well placed once again, looks capable of following up. MILLENIUM (10) is currently in excellent form and, after finishing third in a strong contest in early July, must be considered one of the leading players. MARQUIS DU SAPHIR (8) has been admirably consistent and deserves plenty of respect. MYLEY ELDE (9), a runner-up on his return at the end of June, can also play a part.

    Summary: MONCOEUR DE DYPP (3) caught the eye with a strong runner-up effort last time and looks set to play a leading role here. MAJOR SAUTONNE (5) powered home impressively at Ecommoy and arrives with strong claims. MISTRAL DU REGENCY (8) is best when given plenty of time between races and, with a lighter shoeing setup, deserves serious consideration. MUSTANG VENESI (9) is back at the top of his game and should be a threat late on.

    Summary: NEC DES PLANS (4) was a dominant winner at Royan and, with further progress expected, looks capable of taking another step forward. NIKYTA CIBEL (10) impressed when scoring on this track at the end of June and can be forgiven his latest disappointment. NOBLE SAUTONNE (8) also enters calculations after winning with plenty in hand at Nancy. NAIROBI DE CHENU (5), who remains open to further improvement, should not be overlooked in this lucky last race.
