He is preferred over MAIS OUI MADRIK (1), who arrives after a pleasing second at this track in a handicap chase late in July and can make her presence felt. BEL ECLAT (3) is also worthy of attention and can have a say in the finish. CHEZ DOUCET (5) lacks experience over fences but is worth considering on his second try over the larger obstacles.

    Summary: NORTHMAN (1) has shown enough in two runs to take a race of this nature. He was not beaten far in his latest start in a Class 3 hurdle at Compiegne in early April. He can score at the expense of THE FIST (4), who won on the flat and he will be well schooled by his astute handler and can make life difficult for the likely favourite. NIAGARA DU SEUIL (6) has claims each way and showed nice promise when she was third at Moulins in a Class 5 hurdle in mid-June on her racecourse bow. SOLEA NONANTAISE (5) looks best of the remainder.

  49. SILAWAY – Flat winner twice, including a Class 1 in September last year and also placed in a Listed race in Germany. Her latest start was on April 29 in a Class 3 flat race over 2000m. Tries hurdles and is worth attention
  50. MALISSA MANS – Finished 4th at Durtal over 2900m in a Group 3 AQ race on the flat on December 14. Two wins on the flat and she now makes her hurdles bow and others make more appeal
    Summary: MADEMOISELE D ANGE (2) has won both starts, scoring on the Flat in June before making a winning hurdles debut at Senonnes in late July. She showed plenty of determination that day and can improve further, making her the pick over SENONNIAN (1), who won at this track on his latest start in late July and can play a leading role again. SILAWAY (7) has winning form on the Flat and should be well schooled for her hurdles debut, so she warrants close attention. BANCASTER (3) has an appealing profile and is worth watching in the betting for clues ahead of his racecourse debut.

She can get the better of MELCHIOR DU LARGE (8), who has also been in form with three good runs himself. He can once again be competitive. MATIGNON LEON (6) has solid each-way credentials, having finished second behind OVALIE (2) on his penultimate start at Dieppe in July. LA PRODIGIEUSE (7) is also worth considering.

    Summary: JOUVANCELLE (13) could hold the key to this competitive handicap chase. She posted a pleasing second at this track in late July and is capable of going one better. L’ARRABIATO (14) also merits consideration following a handicap chase success on July 27, while his racing weight is another positive. JOUR POLAIRE (1) arrives in good form, having won at Dieppe two starts ago before finishing fourth in JOUVANCELLE’s race here last time. COUTE QUE COUTE (3) is another to consider after a second over hurdles at Dieppe 19 days ago and could prove just as effective over fences. TANTE ZENA (4) completes the shortlist and has the potential to feature in the finish.

  4. INDY PIQUENARD – Reassuring 2nd in a 2300m Abbeville amateurs Class H 10 days ago. Is new to Vincennes and is unlikely to repeat
  5. KALINE JAMINI – Has won 3 of last 5 starts, most recently an Argentan Class F on 16 August, and although not a priority, can still pick up a first-five payout
  6. KAP NORMAND – Third in a Class H Amateurs’ race at Vittel over 2,700m on 15 August 2026, confirming his Arras run. Presents no main-track references though and cannot be considered a player
  7. KEZIO JOSSELYN – Finished 8th in a Class F Amateurs’ race at Enghien over 2,150m on 13 August 2026. Tends to show more in the claiming division and others easier to back
  8. JIM DE SUCE – Finished 5th in a Class H Amateurs’ race at Chinon over 3,100m on 15 August 2026. Ran 2nd over the inner course on sole start at the venue, but will have a part to play if he takes to the new conditions
  9. INKERMAN DE PLAY – Has not been as sharp as he was when winning a pair in June, most recently 5th in a 2150m Enghien amateurs Class F on 10 August. Incurs the penalty and represents a minor place chance at best

    Summary: HAHICHA GIRL (11), who is plainly close to her race, a barefoot ICONE PLANCHETTE (12), partnered by Barbara Guenet, the consistent and well-placed KYRIELLE JOMUNA (2), and JIM DE SUCE (8), who is ideally-entered on the front line, look capable of fighting out the finish.

  17. OLYMPIC JOY – Runner-up to OF AMERICA (8) in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,050m on 4 August 2026. Hails from one of the best nurseries on the continent and must be taken very seriously

  20. OF AMERICA – Comfortably got off the mark in a 2050m Cabourg Class E 3 weeks ago. Is plainly a serious trotter in the making and should be good enough to repeat
    Summary: There is little to separate OF AMERICA (8) and OLYMPIC JOY (5), who finished in that order at Cabourg, and OPEN ALL NIGHT (7), narrowly beaten on her debut at Enghien. By Idao De Tillard, the unraced and well-qualified ONALISA (1) merits close attention.

  69. MILLONGA VRIE – Not disgraced when third in a Class F mounted race at Mauquenchy over 2,850m on 5 August. Can get involved with the finish once again
  70. MAKAO DE LA BESVRE – Victorious in Class F mounted race at Saint-Jean-de-Monts over 2625m on 9 August. Has disqualification issues but was an easy winner last time out and could double up
  71. MAC GYVER – Not disgraceed when 5th in a Class F mounted race at Cabourg over 2750m on 14 August. Has disqualification issues and others are preferred
  72. MYRTILLE UP STAR – Finished 6th in a Class E at Villereal over 2,450m on 14 August. Has only been modest of late and more is needed to score
  73. MAGIE DES GLENAN – Finished 8th in Class E mounted race at Pornichet-La Baule over 2725m on 13 August. Needs to find a few lengths to beat these rivals
  74. MAGIC GARLINOIS – In good form and finished 3rd in a Class F mounted race at Cabourg over 2,750m on 14 August. Unreliable but is clearly not out of it
  75. MA JYL – Unreliable and finished 5th in a Class F harness race at Agon-Coutainville over 2200m on 7 August. More is needed to beat these rivals
    Summary: MAKAO DE LA BESVRE (9) made a winning return to mounted trotting and has the ability to follow up if keeping his focus. MILLONGA VRIE (8) won at course in July before finishing a good third at Mauquenchy and should again play a leading role. MOUMBA DE GUEZ (4) was unlucky last time and can bounce back to make the frame. MAGIC GARLINOIS (13) shaped promisingly on his debut under saddle and also holds claims.

  77. NERPRUN – Returned to form when 3rd in Class D at Enghien over 2150m on 12 August. Consistent and can fight for top honours again
  78. NICE FLASH SEMILLY – Outclassed the opposition in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,725m on 11 August. Has ability and can follow up
  79. NELOMBO BELLO – Unplaced in a Class D at Enghien over 2,875m on 22 July. Capable of improvement and might make the frame
  80. NEVER ON TIME – Came home 6th in a Class D at Chatelaillon over 2,500m on 3 August. Has only been modest of late and more is needed to beat these rivals
  81. NUTTY DREAM – Disqualified in Class C at Enghien over 2875m on 12 August. Quite capable of bouncing back to score if staying in stride
  82. NACRE DU GERS – Knocking hard at the door and was runner-up in a Class E at Enghien over 2,250m on 29 July. Can be a threat yet again
  83. NOBLESKA – Finished 2nd in a Class D at Enghien over 2,875m on 23 May. Returns from a break but has a place chance if fit enough
  84. NIGHT BEL – Successful in a Class E at Langon over 2,200m on 6 April. Returns from a break and could need this run
    Summary: NICE FLASH SEMILLY (3) won comfortably at Cabourg and looks capable of making the most of this ambitious trip. NUTTY DREAM (6) needs to bounce back from a disappointing effort at Enghien two weeks ago but has the ability to pose a serious threat in a competiitive lucky last race. NERPRUN (2) is still seeking his first victory, but that breakthrough may not be far away. NELOMBO BELLO (4), racing shod on all four feet, can also shine.
