    Summary: SHANOUR (3) could be the answer to this competitive Quinte+ handicap. He won his maiden two runs back and was a decent second at Deauville in a handicap last time in early August. NOVA MOON (8) can make her rivals work for success and this lightly raced filly has plenty more to come after a win on her penultimate start at Vittel in late July.     Summary: JUMEAU (8) is a full-brother to the Top-class Sosie ( who has won 4 Group 1 races) and he will be well prepared for this opening run. He is given the vote over MOI NON PLUS (3), who also has a choice pedigree, his dam was a Top-class filly that won two Group 1 races. KING’S ROAD (6) is another to watch in the betting for any market moves, as is OPERATIF (9), who is a half-brother to the useful Oracle ( Group 2 and 3 placed).

She can edge this over ARMOR SUPREME (5), who won at the Curragh last time in a Listed race in mid-August and should cope with the likely soft ground.     Summary: EVITA (10) has solid credentials and has shown a liking for very soft ground. She has strong Group 3 form, finishing second at Deauville last month after previously placing fifth in the Prix de Diane (Gr.1) in June. She can prove too strong for BINTWARD (11), who is unbeaten in two starts in the UK and looks capable of further improvement. DARYOURA (2) won by more than four lengths on debut at Dieppe in late July and should improve for that experience. ELLE ECLIPSE (5) is another to consider after winning on debut before finishing third in a Group 3 on her second start last month.

KEO DE LA PRADE (6) won all three of his starts in July but faces a tougher task here and will need to take another step forward. JOBERT DU MOULIN (13) has been given time to recover from his failure at the end of July and deserves another chance.

    Summary: HARLEM DE BUCY (9) has really found his form again this summer and is bidding for a hat-trick. INATO PIERJI (10) is a class act who has been carefully managed throughout his career and looks a must for the shortlist at this level. The remarkably consistent ICARE DU BERYL (7) also offers plenty of guarantees and should be involved with the finish. JUSSEO (1) disappointed at Cagnes-sur-Mer six weeks ago but returns fresh and could bounce back.

ILTON CASH (2) may not be quite as talented as his younger rivals, but he arrives on the back of a second, so could take advantage and make the frame

  17. LORD DU BUHOT – Won a Class F over 2,775m here on 21 August, somewhat making up for his Enghien sanction. Seldom disappoints when focused, appreciates these conditions, and will be expected to finish in the mix
  18. LOOPING BEN MAX – Finished 4th in a Class F under these conditions, at 21-1, on 17 August, and a repeat seems improbable
  19. LORD MIL – Serious trotter that has been knocking at the door since June. Ran close 4th in a Laval Class G last Friday and debuts at the venue with a good hand to play
  20. LOOK DE GINAI – Somewhat disappointing 6th in a Laval Class F last Friday. Has otherwise enjoyed a decent summer and can get a look in
  21. LORENZACCIO – Finished 3rd in a Class F over course and distance on 17 August 2026. Always gives his best but takes on too much this time around

  69. KENTUCKY DU CAIEU – Has produced four straight eliminations since returning to competition this summer. Has been reconfigured for the occasion but others easier to back
  70. KLASSIC MUSIC – Won a Class F at Divonne-les-Bains on 18 August before being disqualified in a harness amateurs Class G there 3 days later. Is not a priority but is still worth monitoring
  71. LATINO ELDE – Finished 3rd in a Class E at Chateauroux over 2,900m on 23 August 2026. Has hardly put a foot wrong this year and is not incapable of making his debut at the venue a winning one
  72. LAQUILA WOOD – Third in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,750m on 18 August 2026, after winning 2 straight, including a Class F over course and distance early last month, and will justifiably garner significant support
  73. LINOS DU GOUTIER – Ran 7th in a harness Class F Apprentices’ race at Villereal over 2,450m on 22 August 2026, and returns to the code with limited prospects
  74. KAIRAVE DES BAUX – Won an Avranches Class F on 4 August but could manage no closer than 6th in a Plouescat Class H a fortnight back and looks a minor place chance at best
  75. LISANDRO DE LOU – Finished 2nd in a Class F Apprentices’ race at Divonne over 2,675m on 21 August 2026. Has been enjoying a productive run of form and although unlikely to win this, can nevertheless finish in the mix
  76. KERIDA DE MARZY – Finished 7th in a Class G Apprentices’ harness race over 2,775m here on 8 August 2026. Imposed under these conditions 2 years ago but is not a priority on this occasion
  77. LOTUS DU RIB – Has placed just once in 7 monte starts but is plainly better than that. Returns to the code following a Vincennes harness Class E sanction and with 4 pads fitted for the first time is not to be overlooked
  78. LOUMA DE MALOU – Has been enjoying a good run of form in both codes, lastly 3rd in an Avranches harness Class F on 4 August. May not get her nose in front but can still challenge for a place on the podium
  79. KARRY WHITE – Encouraged at the start of the summer but has since come off the boil and, even though barefoot, can still be passed over
  80. LUCRECE DE CORDAY – Left a very good impression on sole start in the discipline. Has a lot going for her here and can open her monte account if she stays trotting
    Summary: LUCRECE DE CORDAY (15), ideally-engaged, re-shod, and partnered by Alexandre Abrivard for just her second appearance under the saddle, LAQUILA WOOD (7), in peak form, LATINO ELDE (6), reconfigured and in excellent shape, LOUMA DE MALOU (13), partnered by Benjamin Rochard and also re-shod, are all contenders.

  82. NATIF DE JOUDES – Complicated individual that opened his account in a Class G over course and distance 2.5 weeks ago and, on good behaviour, can repeat
  83. NEWTON DE LOIRON – Got off the mark in a Guer-Coëtquidan Class F in mid-July before coming 2nd in an Agon Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Has yet to deliver on a hard surface but with pads fitted will be no pushover
  84. NOMADE VRIE – Tricky but useful filly returning from a short spell. Has other priorities and can be ruled out
  85. NORMANDY NIGHT – Opened her account at Divonne-les-Bains on 16 August but lost her action in a Class E at the same venue just 5 days later. Pads off this time but others still preferred
  86. NACRE DE BAIS – Runner-up in a Class E at Royan-La Palmyre over 2,475m on 9 August 2026, having got off the mark the previous month. Takes on some better horses this time but should nevertheless acquit herself honourably
  87. NOVELINA – Capable when applied but was eliminated at Biarritz in late-July. Comes here fresh but is unlikely to generate much interest
  88. NORIA BERRY – Fifth in a Class F at Saint Malo over 2,950m on 11 August 2026. Has yet to excel on a hard surface and even with pads fitted is unlikely to influence the outcome
  89. NISKO D’ELCE – Opened his account at Divonne-les-Bains on 10 August before being disqualified in a Laval Class F a fortnight later, but with stride in check can make a big splash
  90. NORKA GEMA – Made up for debut elimination when victorious in a Thouars Class F 11 days ago. Faces a more difficult task this time but the addition of pads may be just the thing. Chance
  91. NANOVERO – Modest individual that has yet to show any particular flair for the game and can be passed over
  92. NEW DREAM OF GLORY – Victorious in a Class H at Nort Sur Erdre over 2,400m on 10 August 2026, first time out. Comes to the venue with morale on a high and can compete for minor honours
  93. NOROIS D’AVIGNERE – Comfortable winner of a Class G over course and distance a fortnight back. Takes on a better lot this time but will be padded again and reined by Alexis Collette. First 5
  94. NAMARA D’ECHAL – Runner-up in a Class F at Pornichet over 2,725m on 13 August 2026. Is plainly close to her race and could pleasantly surprise if she takes to the new conditions
    Summary: This looks an open contest. NATIF DE JOUDES (2), impressive winner here on 17 August, NEWTON DE LOIRON (3), in-shape and fitted with 4 pads for the first time, a freshly-reconfigured NISKO D’ELCE (9), for whom it will again be a case of all-or-nothing, and NORKA GEMA (10), sporting 4 pads for her debut on a hard surface, all have claims.

  95. MINDA DE GUEUDE – Untried filly making first appearance since qualifying unexceptionally under harness in August 2025 and is unlikely to shake things up
  96. MINOS DU FOSSE – Has begun to get back in the game, lastly 4th in a Mauquenchy Class F early last month, but still has more to find
  97. MIA CARA BOND – Won in July first time out but eliminated in next 2, lastly a Divonne-les-Bains Class E 2.5 weeks ago, but with a top jockey in the irons this time, can begin to put things right
  98. MADELIA – Out of the picture in last 4 starts under harness. Has placed just the once in the monte code and is not about to spring any surprises
  99. MY HERO – Debuts in the discipline after being pulled up under harness at La Capelle in late-July. Sports a fresh configuration but is still not an obvious choice
  100. MAGIE DES GLENAN – Has looked decidedly ordinary since returning from her layoff in June and returns to racing shod with nothing to contribute
  101. MISTIGRI JIBE – Eliminated more often than not but is a capable individual. Ran 2nd on his sole start at the venue and, reunited with Lilian Bertin, can begin to put things right
  102. MAESTRO DELTO – Has turned a corner since switching disciplines, most recently winning a Class F at Graignes over 2,700m on 8 August. Has been entrusted to Alexandre Abrivard for the first time and will be well-backed to repeat
  103. MIKTYSON DE VIETTE – Eliminated in both monte starts but returns to the discipline after twice reassuring under harness and, with Benjamin Rochard in the saddle, will be afforded every chance
  104. MINNIE WIND – Has not been seen out since pulling off the hat-trick in a Class F at Lyon-Parilly over 2,850m on 21 May. Is barefoot for the occasion though and has every chance of getting straight down to business
  105. MOUSKO DU LUPIN – Showed a different side to himself on monte bow when running 2nd in a Pornichet Class E 3 weeks ago. Will have come on for the run and Alexis Collette can be justifiably confident of a big performance
    Summary: The imposing MAESTRO DELTO (8), a half-brother to Joyce Delto among others, has taken well to his new vocation and looks capable of complementing his recent Graignes success. He will, however, have to fend off MOUSKO DU LUPIN (11), who made a promising monte debut at Pornichet, MINNIE WIND (10), who is unbeaten this year, and MIA CARA BOND (3), who can make a big impact if Paul Ploquin keeps her focused.
