  5. MOMO DES CARREAUX – Showed some form during the spring but has looked very ordinary over recent weeks and can be ruled out

  32. JAVA DU GERS – 4th in a Thouars Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Is serious for the most part and with Alexandre Abrivard reining will be afforded every chance
  33. KRYSTA DE KERYANN – Finished 2nd in a Class F at Pornichet over 2,725m on 30 July. Is close to her race and will be no easy touch when things heat up. Place chance
  34. KELLY CHARLY ERA – Third in a Class G over 2,650m here on 23 August. Appears to be close to her best and with Benjamin Rochard reining can apply the pressure on KYMIJALLY (11)
  35. JAVA DU PLESSIS – Is not without merit but is biting off more than she can chew and recent disqualification did little to inspire confidence
  36. KIVAOA DU PERCHE – In the frame in two of last three, most recently third in a 3000m Class H at Neuillé-Pont-Pierre, but in this company will need to find more
  37. KATINKA COTON – Useful sort with 3 runs under her belt since the lengthy layoff. Is barefoot with the in-form Antonin Andre in the bike and unlikely to disappoint
  38. JULIANA DES LUCAS – Took no time getting back in the game following her break, lastly 3rd in an amateurs Class F at Vincennes on 22 August. Takes on a better bunch this time and looks a minor place chance at best
  39. KYMIJALLY – Finished 3rd in a Class E at Cagnes-sur-Mer over 2,925m on 1 August, 2.5 weeks after having won a Class D there. Is reunited with Eric Raffin who was in the bike that day and is easy to fancy for the win
  40. JALONA – Ran 9th in an amateurs Class H at Les Andelys late last month. Is unbeaten in 3 starts this year in the day’s configuration however and must be taken seriously
  41. KRONA VIKING – Finished 3rd in a Class H at Vittel over 2,700m on 15 August, but is clearly being conditioned this time and best to hold off
  42. KABALVA – Showed improvement when fifth in a 2850m Brehal Class F a month ago, however a repeat seems unlikely
Summary: KYMIJALLY (11), who has the ability to play a leading role if she stays trotting, KELLY CHARLY ERA (6), reconfigured after having reassured here 2.5 weeks ago, KRYSTA DE KERYANN (5), who has been knocking at the door, are preferred to KATINKA COTON (9) who should be fully-fit by now.

  43. JOLDY LOVE – Useful earlier in his career but has been out of sorts for some time and can be ruled out
  44. KAMIKAZE DRY – Authoritative winner of a Class F at Pornichet on 13 August. Goes particularly well for Benjamin Rochard who will be expecting to bring the fight to KENZO A TROIS (7)
  45. KING’S RETURN – Pleasantly surprised when 5th in a Bernay Class F late last month, however he will have little to offer in this category
  46. KID DE CAPONET – Not the most reliable of horses but can trot and with Alexandre Abrivard back in the bike will be afforded a competitive drive
  47. KEEPER PERRINE – Back under harness after failing to deliver in a monte Class F at Mauquenchy early last month, and will have other objectives
  48. KAISER VRIE – Has not been seen out since running 3rd in a Class F at Reims over 2,550m on 25 May. Is patently in race-mode and can get straight back in the game.
  49. KENZO A TROIS – A class above the opposition in a Class F at Royan-La Palmyre over 2,475m on 9 August. Has been simply dynamic since returning to competition in June, excels with his driver, and looks the one to beat
  50. KUSAERI – Unplaced in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,750m on 14 August, a fortnight after having pleasantly surprised at Laon, but looks to have too much to do
  51. KAPI D’ARPENT – 4th in an amateurs Class G at La Roche-Posay on 22 August. Faithful trotter with an enviable strike-rate but appears to be out of his depth this time
  52. JOKO DE LOU – Second in a Class F Apprentices’ race at Rochefort Sur Loire over 3,000m on 16 August, a week after winning an amateur’s event at Sablé-sur-Sarthe. Is not a priority but should still acquit himself competitively
  53. JIGOVE – Placed twice before being well-beaten in a Pornichet Class G on 13 August and will struggle to make his presence felt
  54. KILLER FOR LOVA – Should not be too hastily-condemned for losing his action in a Class H at Neuillé-Pont-Pierre late last month. Has otherwise been in rude health and with application will be no pushover
  55. JULEJACQ – Unplaced in a Class G at Pornichet over 2,725m on 13 August. Appears to have come off the boil and will first need to reassure
  56. KLEMS DE JAVIE – 5th in a Class E at La Roche-Posay a month ago. Is no champion, but consistently gives his best and can get a look in
  57. KAISER TURGOT – Ran 6th in a Class E at Vincennes over 2,700m on 4 September. Faces a target well within his capability and can play a leading role
Summary: KENZO A TROIS (7) has not finished outside the first two since 18 October and should again fight it out for victory. Eric Raffin will nevertheless need to be wary of KAMIKAZE DRY (2), who has won 2 of his last 3, KAISER TURGOT (15), whose trainer could not have wished for a better entry, and KILLER FOR LOVA (12), who can be excused his recent blip.

  58. MALICIA TOR – Honest filly that ran 5th in a Brehal Class F early last month, but in this category will have no possible chance
  59. MA POUPEE D’AMOUR – Like a horse reborn over recent weeks, lastly winning a Bacqueville-en-Caux Class F a month back. Is pitted against better here though and chances appear limited
  60. MONZA SEMILLY – Quality filly that has raced just the once since June 2025. Went close on sole start here, sports pads for the first time, and can give MA BELLE ATTAQUE (12) a run for her money
  61. MAGIE PURPLE – Ran 6th in a Class F at Les Sables D’Olonne over 2,775m on 21 August. Is better at a lower level though and others easier to back
  62. MY PRINCESS HAUFOR – Has been particularly disappointing for some time, most recently disqualified in a Class E at Le Mans on 25 July, and can be passed over
  63. MISS WINNER – Has failed to make any impression since winning a Brehal Class F early last month and even though reconfigured will have little to offer
  64. MISS IS DU CANET – Moderate element that lost her action in a Class E over course and distance a fortnight ago and, in current condition, is unlikely to shake things up
  65. MARIE JOSE LABELLE – Made up for early-August disqualification when victorious in a Strasbourg Class E 2 weeks ago. Takes on a better bunch here but Gelormini has stayed faithful and is unlikely to disappoint
  66. MALOUINES QUESNOT – 3rd in a Graignes Class E on 8 August. Has taken her game to a new level since returning to racing barefoot and is unlikely to be too far off the mark
  67. MAESTRIA DU PLAIN – Has not been seen out since finishing 3rd in a monte Class E at Vincennes over 2,200m on 27 January and will have other priorities
  68. MORGANE DE TOI – Fourth in a Class E at Royan-La Palmyre over 2,475m on 30 August. Is better served by a turf track and is not a concern
  69. MA BELLE ATTAQUE – Could well have won a Class E under these conditions a fortnight ago had she kept her action together. Eric Raffin is back in the bike and will be determined to set the record straight
  70. MATINA D’ORLY – Out of the picture in both starts since the layoff. Is still being conditioned and can be ignored
  71. MADAME BOVARY – Capable on a good day and should not be hastily-condemned for losing her action at Mauquenchy 2.5 weeks ago. Always gives her best, and while unlikely to lose her maiden tag, should nevertheless hold her own
  72. MELROSE DES VAUX – Fourth in a Class F at Montmirail over 3,200m on 12 July, confirming her Ecommoy performance. Is unlikely to win this but has been fitted with a fresh formula and can give this a good go
  73. MAGIE DU LUPIN – Ran 6th in a Class E at Les Sables D’Olonne over 2,650m on 4 August when being prepared for this. Imposed under these conditions earlier in the year and will be competitive at the business end
Summary: MA BELLE ATTAQUE (12), who gave a fine account on her re-entry here despite having been disqualified, MONZA SEMILLY (3), sporting 4 pads for the first time on her return to action, and MAGIE DU LUPIN (16), ideally engaged at the limit of earnings, can be preferred to MARIE JOSE LABELLE (8), impressive winner at Strasbourg, and the consistent MELROSE DES VAUX (15) who has been fitted with new shoeing.

  74. KAOLIK DE GUEZ – Gave a fine account to secure a Cabourg Class E on 18 August. Is never far from faulting but can complete the double if Mathieu Mottier manages to keep him focused
  75. LUCAS DE TOURNAI – Tricky character that ran reassuring 4th in a Class F over course and distance 2 weeks ago. Is unlikely to create an upset but can still make his presence felt
  76. LUPINE DIESCHOOT – Won 2 of last 3, most recently a 2900m Class E at La Chartre-sur-le-Loir in mid-August, but is biting off more than she can chew this time
  77. LASCAUX DEL PHEDO – Finished 2nd in a Class F Apprentices’ race over course and distance on 28 August. Is plainly close to his race and with Alexandre Abrivard in the saddle will be afforded every chance
  78. LAGUNE – Complicated filly that is considerably better than recent numbers would suggest, but nonetheless takes to the monte code with Damien Bonne in the irons and a good hand to play
  79. LOOK AT ME LULU – Surprise winner on turf in mid-June but has categorically failed to confirm in three subsequent starts and can be disregarded
  80. KASTELBRAC – Steps up in category after winning a Class F at Abbeville in late-July but is being aimed too high this time
  81. LICAR SOMOLLI – Fourth in a Class D at Enghien over 2,150m on 8 August. Has yet to really impress under the saddle and can be passed over
  82. LYNX D’URZY – Disqualified in an Enghien Class D on 8 August. Seldom gets his nose in front but consistently gives his best and, with application, can finish in the mix
  83. LEON DE LA COURBE – Handy sort when he can keep his action together but eliminated in last 2 and others easier to trust
  84. LEMPICKA SEPT – Third in a Class E at Dinan over 2,950m on 3 August, her first start since March. Will have progressed for the run, has been re-shod, and simply thrives with Eric Raffin
  85. LABEL DE LARRE – Unplaced in a Class D at Enghien over 2,250m on 1 August. Seldom does anything of note and is unlikely to change his ways
  86. LOLITA TURGOT – Disqualified in 4 of last 5 starts under harness, and returns to the code with little or nothing to contribute
  87. KIKI DU ROC – Has returned to competition even better following a lengthy absence, most recently winning a Class F over course and distance two weeks ago, and will be no soft touch
  88. KOALA DES ARCS – Disqualified in a Landivisiau Class H last Sunday. Is not without merit but is too capricious to inspire much confidence
  89. LOOPING DU PERRE – Made it 3 from 4 when comfortably winning a Class D at Enghien over 2,250m on 1 August. Is wonderfully-engaged at the limit of earnings and has every chance of securing the three-timer
Summary: Ideally-engaged, LOOPING DU PERRE (16) has a realistic chance of securing the hat-trick, but recent Cabourg winner KAOLIK DE GUEZ (1) has the ability to make life difficult for him provided Mathieu Mottier can keep him focused. KIKI DU ROC (14) and LASCAUX DEL PHEDO (4) finished in that order here recently and can again play prominent roles. LEMPICKA SEPT (11) is reunited with Eric Raffin for whom she won twice earlier in the year, and she will sport modified shoeing for the occasion.

  91. LASTRONAUT DANOVER – Disqualified in 2 straight after having easily won a Class F in early-August, but can make amends if well-behaved
  92. LEWIS GO – Showed considerable improvement when 3rd in a Class E at Les Sables-d’Olonne on 26 August. Sports the same formula but is not in the same category
  93. LONDON JONES – Pleasantly surprising runner-up in a 2650m Class F at Les Sables-d’Olonne on 28 August, however at this level is unlikely to worry the opposition
  94. LORENZACCIO – Finished 8th in a Class F at Les Sables D’Olonne over 2,650m on 3 September, after having placed in 5 straight, but is being aimed a bit too high on this occasion
  95. LET’S GO VAL – Won a Class F over course and distance in early-July but has since been disqualified in 3 straight. Will be shod as he was that day though and cannot be discounted
  96. LE BALIGHAN – Was unable to secure the hat-trick when disqualified in a Lisieux Class F 12 days ago, but form is not in question and can play an important role if applied
  97. L’OPEN BAR – Secured a well-earned victory on 22 August when successful in a Beaupreau Class F but is a first-five chance at best this time around
  98. LOOKING BEST – Finished 6th in a Class F at Lisieux over 2,725m on 29 August, having encouraged at Cabourg a fortnight earlier, and others easier to support
  99. LIPTON DU NOYER – Fifth in a Class E at Les Sables D’Olonne over 2,650m on 26 August. Has form under these conditions, is consistently in the thick of things, and looks a serious proposition
  100. LET’S GO SMART – Unplaced in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,725m on 21 August. Has been disappointing for the most part this year and can be confidently disregarded
  101. LOOK D’AVRIL – Won 3 in a row during the spring but has failed to make much impact in 4 subsequent starts. It is only a question of time though before he gets back in the game
  102. LINEA DE L’ALBA – Ran 6th in a Class E Apprentices’ race at Enghien over 2,875m on 13 August after having placed twice in the provinces, but has more to find this time
  103. LEO VIVA – Serious trotter that has not put a foot wrong for 4 months, most recently 4th in a Francheville Class F conditioner, and competitively-shod this time, will be dangerous. Claim
Summary: LEO VIVA (14), reconfigured and benefitting from a golden opportunity at the limit of earnings, LIPTON DU NOYER (10), seldom far from the action, LE BALIGHAN (7), who must be forgiven his recent sanction, and a freshly re-shod LASTRONAUT DANOVER (2), who is no easy touch when focused, look capable of fighting for the leading places.

  105. NIKITA DE BEAUM – Finished 5th in a Class E at Pornichet over 2,725m on 20 August 2026. Can expect to find the going tougher this time and is not about to open her account
  106. NEMO DU DIGEON – Good future prospect that ran 2nd in a Class F at La Ferte-Vidame 2.5 weeks ago. Should take well to Laval conditions and can contest the finish
  107. NORBERT DE GACHERE – Ran 6th in a Class E at Pornichet over 2,725m on 27 August, his first start since February. Will have progressed for the race and cannot be discounted
  108. NEW YORK DRY – Has yet to make his mark on a hard surface but is unbeaten in 2 on turf. Is also undefeated with his trainer who will be determined to put things right
  109. NATIF DU MANOLET – Ran close 2nd in a Pornichet Class E a fortnight ago. Is unlikely to get that maiden monkey off his back but can still acquit himself competitively
  110. NAOS DES MARETTES – Disqualified in last 2 starts, the latest in a Class C at Vincennes over 2,700m on 19 February. Has not been seen out since and will need the run
  111. NICE BOY DU LUPIN – Outclassed the opposition in a Class E at Chatelaillon over 2,625m on 29 July. Moves marginally up the category-ladder but is still easy to fancy for a repeat
  112. NUEVO MANNETOT – Has not been seen out since finishing 7th in a Class C at Les Sables D’Olonne over 2,775m on 27 June, and will have nothing to contribute

  114. NIGHT BEL – Was going good-guns on re-entry when disqualified in a Class D at Les Sables-d’Olonne a fortnight ago. Will have improved for the run and, with application, should not be far off the mark
  115. NO WOMAN ERCA – Drops in category after being eliminated in a Cagnes Class D a month ago. Has shown what she can do when focused and has a reasonable chance of trotting her way into the picture
Summary: NICE BOY DU LUPIN (8), impressive winner on only his second start, and NEW YORK DRY (5), who has won two of three, can be preferred to NEMO DU DIGEON (3), who has been learning his trade in good order, and the well-engaged, talented, but sometimes spirited, NO WOMAN ERCA (12).
SELECTIONS – NICE BOY DU LUPIN (8) – NEW YORK DRY (5) – NEMO DU DIGEON (3) – NO WOMAN ERCA (12)
