R1 FEURS [L-H]

C1 – PRIX PALLANCHE CONSTRUCTIONS – 2850m (a2m) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 34,000

  1. IVAN DE L’ERDRE – Finished 2nd in a Class F at Pornichet over 2,725m on 20 August. Has been knocking at the door at a lower level and although unlikely to spice things up, should nevertheless given an honourable account
  2. JET DES PRES – Goes barefoot for the first time on a hard surface after having run 7th in a Class F over course and distance 9 days ago, but others still preferred
  3. GOLDEN VIKING – Unplaced in a Class F over course and distance on 7 September, and will not be troubling the opposition
  4. JONQUILLE DE MEAT – Fourth in a Class E at Laval over 2,650m on 4 September, after having placed twice on turf. Is unlikely to create an upset but from the front row can give this a good go
  5. ISIS DE POULINE – Showed improvement when 5th in a Class F over course and distance on 7 September, however a repeat seems unlikely
  6. JANDICE STAR – Always gives her best but has not got her head in front since 2023 and is not about to spring any surprises
  7. JAGERBOMB – Ran 7th in a Class E at Laval over 2,650m on 4 September. Starts in front here and with Eric Raffin back in the bike, can set the record straight. Chance
  8. GRANTCHESTER – Unplaced in a Class F over course and distance on 7 September. Is nicely-engaged here but in present form will have nothing to contribute
  9. JOKER D’OLAINE – Finished 3rd in a Class E at Laval over 2,650m on 4 September. Has made the frame in 4 of last 5 starts and has every chance of picking up another payout
  10. JINGLE LOVER – Ran third before being placed last in a Class D at Marseille-Borely over 2,300m on 27 August. Is clearly in fine shape though and can put things right if Steve Stefano keeps him out of trouble
  11. INDIGO PIERJI – Was unable to confirm 27 August performance when 5th in a Class B at Marseille-Borely a week ago. Was not disgraced that day but is taking on too much this time
  12. HEROS D’YVEL – Gave a good account on re-entry even though subsequently disqualified, but has twice failed to impress since and will first need to reassure
  13. IQUEM D’AMER – Third in a Class B at Marseille-Borely over 2,300m on 9 September, 18 days after having lifted a Cagnes Class B. Takes on a good lot here but can still hold his own
  14. INSTINCT SAINT BAR – Has won 3 of last 5 starts, most recently a Class D at Royan-La Palmyre over 2,475m on 9 August, and moving back to a hard surface will be no handicap. Claim
  15. IL VIENT DU LUDE – Comfortably won a Class D at Lyon-Parilly over 2,850m on 4 September. Boasts superb Feurs credentials and, given the entry, is easy to like for a big performance
    Summary: Versatile and reliable, INSTINCT SAINT BAR (14) won from the front at Montignac on 23 July before following up at Royan when held up. He has raced little for his age and can secure the three-timer. JAGERBOMB (7) was found wanting on his last two starts, but will be reunited with Eric Raffin for whom he excels. Proven here and re-shod, IL VIENT DU LUDE (15) is very easy to like, as is JINGLE LOVER (10) who would probably have won last time had he not lost his action. Ideally-engaged on the front row, JOKER D’OLAINE (9) is clearly close to his race.

    C2 – PRIX SPARTAN CONSULTING – 2850m (a2m) – – Harness – EUR € 6,000
  16. J’ADORE CE MEC – Finished 3rd in a Class F at Marseille-Borely over 3,000m on 27 August 2026. Has hardly put a foot wrong for months and should prove competitive at the business end of the race
  17. JESCO DE LA VALLEE – Imposed at Saint-Galmier on 29 August then repeated in a Class G Amateurs’ race over 2,850m here 10 days later, and the hat-trick is a distinctly attainable goal
  18. INTEL – Went close at Saint-Galmier prior to coming 3rd to JESCO DE LA VALLEE (2) over course and distance 10 days ago. Is unlikely to win this but in present shape is easy to like for a first-five cheque
  19. JANA D’ARMOR – Returns to the amateur category after coming 7th in a Divonne Class F on 21 August. Is reunited with Mathilde Martineau who won with her here in early-July and must be taken seriously
  20. INDY VET – Ran 3rd under similar conditions on 3 July before being disqualified at Aix-les-Bains just over 3 weeks later. Is hard to fault when focused though and should not be underestimated
  21. INVICTUS ELLIS – Won twice earlier in the summer, including a Class F over course and distance, but has struggled of late and will first need to set things right
  22. HOKAIDO DE MONCHEL – Unplaced in a Class F Amateurs’ race over 2,100m here on 6 September. Has done nothing noteworthy in 2026 and is not about to start now
  23. IMAGIOUS DE VANDEL – Finished 4th in a Class F Apprentices’ race over 2,100m here on 6 September, although on this occasion appears to have too much to do
  24. JIPSY DES AIRES – Finished 5th in a Class F Apprentices’ race over 2,100m here on 6 September. Has been fitted with front pads this time but is still not a contender
  25. IOWA DE TOUCHYVON – Finished 7th in a Class F Apprentices’ race over 2,100m here on 6 September. Tends to show more on turf and will have nothing to offer
  26. KATIMINNIE BROUETS – Imposed at Carpentras before finishing runner-up in a Class F at Aix Les Bains over 2,700m on 28 July. Comes here fresh, is nicely-entered, and can get straight down to business
  27. INCAS D’EURVAD – Finished 4th in a Class F Amateurs’ race over 2,100m here on 6 September. Benefits from a terrific entry here and, sporting a new configuration, is worth keeping an eye on
    Summary: The choice is not straightforward between KATIMINNIE BROUETS (11), who has been re-shod for her Feurs debut, and JESCO DE LA VALLEE (2) who made it two in a row when imposing here 10 days ago. In July, JANA D’ARMOR (4) also scored here and will appreciate a return to the amateur division. J’ADORE CE MEC (1) has been knocking at the door for some time and is due to be rewarded any day now.

  28. NINA LAURA – Finished 4th in a Class E at Saint-Galmier over 2,650m on 22 August. Has done little to disappoint over recent months and can expect to find the going rather tough
  29. NESTORIUS – Improving type that ran 3rd in a Saint-Galmier Class E on 22 August, after having got off the mark at Jullianges. Is unlikely to impose but nevertheless has the wherewithal to finish in the money
  30. NOBODY KNOWS – Honest sort that ran 3rd, in a Cabourg Class E, on a hard surface for the first time a fortnight ago. Benjamin Rochard in the bike on this occasion and looks a serious proposition
  31. NOBLESSE DU GERS – Finished 3rd in a Class E at Divonne over 2,600m on 18 August, having lost her maiden status 8 days earlier over 2700m. At this level, though will have her work cut out for her
  32. NAUSICAA DES MERS – Ran 3rd in a monte Class E over course and distance 10 days ago and is here for reasons of conditioning
  33. NOUGATINE VERGNIER – Made amends for re-entry disqualification when 2nd in a monte Class E at Saint-Galmier on 22 August. Is better at a lower level under harness and looks a minor place prospect at best
  34. NOBILUS BAR – Reassuring 4th in a Divonne Class E on 21 August. Has already won twice this summer, has adapted well to French conditions, and must be taken seriously
  35. NIKITA DE MAGNY – Finished 5th in a 2000m Class D at Divonne on 9 August. Always gives her best, but still faces a difficult challenge
  36. NEPTUNE DE JEAN – Failed to make it 2 on the trot when second in a Class E at Pornichet over 2,725m on 16 July. Has not been seen since but is competitively-shod for the first time and entrusted to Eric Raffin for the occasion. Claim
  37. NORMAND DEBELGRAVE – Fifth in a Class C at Vichy over 2,950m on 5 September. Is back racing left-handed and although not a priority, should nonetheless give this a good go
  38. NUNZIATA – Finished 3rd in a Class E over 2,100m here on 17 July. Is capable when focused and can return home with minor honours
  39. NOW AND THEN – Finished 3rd on comeback in a Class D at Marseille-Borely over 2,300m on 27 August. Will have progressed for the race and with Theo Briand in the bike this time clearly means business. Chance
    Summary: Fitted with four pads for the first time in his career, NEPTUNE DE JEAN (9), who has some strong form lines in the west, looks capable of returning to winning ways. NOW AND THEN (12), after an encouraging comeback could finally get that maiden monkey off his back, and NOBODY KNOWS (3), who acquitted himself well in an interesting field at Cabourg recently, will be aiming for a place on the podium, as will NOBILUS BAR (7), who was by no means disgraced at Divonne.

  40. JEAN D’HOLLENBOURG – Ran 7th in a harness Class F at Marseille-Borely over 2,300m on 27 August. Has no monte references and it is hard to make a case for him
  41. KOPRIORO – Made it 2 on the trot when successful in a Class E Apprentices’ race at Argentan over 2,875m on 8 August. Has already won left-handed under the saddle and must be taken seriously
  42. ILOVIROIZ DI LEONE – Flattering 5th in a 2225m Class E here on 7 September and has no realistic chance
  43. JINGLE DES BROUETS – Failed to confirm Vichy performance when 6th in a Class E over 2225m here on 7 September and is not about to spring any surprises
  44. KENYAN BLUES – Eliminated early in a Vincennes Class D last Saturday. Has otherwise failed to fire under the saddle all year and Eric Raffin will be keen to put things right
  45. KOALA – Being prepped here earlier in the month paid off 5 days later when dominating a Vincennes Class D last weekend. Faces a less-exalted bunch here and even from the back row can double his money
  46. JUPITER DU CORTA – Tricky individual facing first real ridden objective of the season after having been disqualified under harness at Enghien early last month. Is shod to preference for the occasion and is not incapable of finishing in the mix
  47. JOKER DU HAMEL – Useful sort sporting modified shoeing after being disqualified in 12 September race of reference and can play a small role if focused
  48. KATCHINA FOR CLARA – Successful in a Class D at Beaumont-De-Lomagne over 2,550m on 23 August, her second win in three starts, and should again figure prominently
    Summary: KOALA (6) can prove something of a handful but is dynamic when focused; he should appreciate the selective nature of the Feurs track and even though backing up can still confirm last Saturday’s Vincennes romp. On the front row, KOPRIORO (2) enjoys a legitimate chance of pulling off the hat-trick. KENYAN BLUES (5) will be no pushover if he gets off on the right foot. KATCHINA FOR CLARA (9) has been revitalised of late and deserves to take her chances.

  49. MAYA DU RADON – Fifth in a Class F at Divonne over 2,000m on 18 August. Is still chasing that elusive first victory but is going to have to wait a little bit longer
  50. MILADY OAKS – Has not been seen racing left-handed since imposing at Lyon-Parilly in April. Is first-time barefoot though and from the front row cannot be ruled out
  51. MY LOVE PANAME – Lost his action at Divonne on 20 August but ran reassuring third in a Lyon-Parilly Class D on 4 September, and will have his supporters
  52. MAMY BLUE TIT – Unplaced in a Class D at Vichy over 2,950m on 25 August when preparing for this. Races barefoot for the first time and will be competitive when it counts
  53. MYSTERE DES MARES – Made up for Saint-Galmier sanction when 2nd in a Lyon-Parilly Class D on 4 September. Is unlikely to win this but a similar effort would see him trot his way into the picture
  54. MON COUSIN – Was unable to secure the three-timer when second in a Class D at Vichy over 2,950m on 25 August. Is progressing with every run though and has a realistic chance of returning to successful ways
  55. MESTA ATALANTE – Surprise winner of a Vichy Class E in May but has done nothing of note since and can be passed over
  56. MISTER MAGIC – Unplaced, on return from a spell, in a Class B at Divonne over 2,650m on 20 August. Goes barefoot this time and is not incapable of getting a look in
  57. MUSE DU VALLON – Finished 7th in a Class D at Lyon-Parilly over 2,850m on 4 September. Is plainly better than that though and in the hands of Theo Briand can get back in the game
  58. MALIGNO – Faces a less difficult task than he did when 7th in a Vincennes Class D a fortnight ago and looks thoroughly capable of imposing
  59. MISS BELGRAVE – Useful on a good day but was disqualified in a Class B here nine days ago when still being conditioned. Is more competitively-shod this time but others still preferred
    Summary: He may not be the easiest of horses to use but MALIGNO (10) ran better in a Vincennes Class D recently than the result would suggest, and under these conditions can impose. MON COUSIN (6), in cracking form, will attract plenty of support. MYSTERE DES MARES (5), who showed marked improvement at Lyon, can also have a say, as can MUSE DU VALLON (9), who will be partnered by Théo Briand.

  60. IDOLE DE MEAT – Ran encouraging 4th in a Class C at Les Sables-d’Olonne late last month but in this company has no possible chance
  61. KAPTAIN DU LIAMONE – Fourth in a Class B over course and distance on 7 September, 3 weeks after having won at Auch. Steps back up in category though and appears to have too much to do this time
  62. RIKITA JP – Returns to racing barefoot after being prepped in a Gr.2 at La Capelle on 2 September. No longer has anything to prove in this class and is unlikely to be far from the action
  63. JILORD VIVA – Finished 9th in a Group II at La Capelle over 1,800m on 2 September. Is shod to preference this time and will be reunited with Eric Raffin for whom he seldom disappoints. Claim
  64. IBIZA BELLA – Fifth in a Class B over course and distance on 7 September. Is clearly talented but is out of her depth this time
  65. JANGO VICI – Third in a Class A at Montier En Der over 3,025m on 23 August. Has nothing to prove at this level and, with form maintained, has every chance of finishing close
  66. ISTER MAN – Finished 6th in a Group III at Cagnes-sur-Mer over 2,925m on 27 July. Is not the most dependable of horses but is confirmed at this level and is not incapable of making the first five
  67. HUDO DU RUEL – A veritable metronome that ran 4th in a Cagnes Gr.3 on 22 August. Has been knocking at the door for some time and although unlikely to shake things up this time around, should nevertheless hold his own
  68. HORCHESTRO – Fourth in a Group II at Vincennes over 2,700m on 21 June. Has not been seen since but is quite obviously in competition-mode and unlikely to be heading home empty-handed
  69. INO DU LUPIN – Finished 7th when being prepped in a Group III at Angers over 3,100m on 9 September. Is barefoot this time and should logically represent the main danger to JILORD VIVA (4)
    Summary: If he can quickly get to the lead, the battle-hardened JILORD VIVA (4) will not be easy to beat on this testing track. Partnered by Eric Raffin, he still looks to have the advantage over second-row starter INO DU LUPIN (10) who is barefoot and patently in race-mode. Reassuring on re-entry, and barefoot this time, JANGO VICI (6) comes next, ahead of HORCHESTRO (9) who is similarly barefoot for his return to competition.

  70. LUPIN D’ETE – Runner-up in a Class E at Vichy over 2,950m on 30 June. Seldom puts a foot out of line and even in this category merits respect
  71. LORD DE VANDEL – Finished 3rd in a Class E at Beaumont-De-Lomagne over 2,400m on 3 September. Eric Raffin in the bike for the first time and will be justifiably well-supported
  72. LILY CARNOIS – Third in a Class D at Hyeres over 2,650m on 26 June. Is consistently in the thick of things but is going to need the race
  73. LUMIERE DAIRPET – Ran 2nd despite problems turning in a Class E at Beaumont-de-Lomagne a fortnight ago. Has never been in better shape, starts in front, and is easy to like for the win
  74. LEADER DES RIOULTS – Finished 2nd in a Class E over track and trip on 7 September. May not be sent out at 57-1 this time but is unlikely to be as competitive either
  75. LOVER MAUZUN – Third in a Class B at Divonne over 2,650m on 21 August, his first appearance since early-June and, shod to preference this time, is unlikely to disappoint
  76. LIZZY DE JOUDES – Runner-up in a Class F over course and distance on 20 June. Has not been seen out since though and would be preferred barefoot
  77. LEI E BELLA – Trounced the opposition in a Class C over course and distance on 17 July. Simply superb since returning to competition and can bring the fight to LUMIERE DAIRPET (4)
  78. LORD JULRY – Victorious in a Class C at Vichy over 2,950m on 1 August. Has already won five times this year, including over course and distance, and should again figure prominently
    Summary: Not entirely at ease going right-handed last time, LUMIERE DAIRPET (4) was only narrowly-beaten and can set the record straight. She will still have to get the better of some of the best 5 year-olds in the region, including LEI E BELLA (8), who has been excelling here recently, LORD JULRY (9) who imposed shod last time out, and LOVER MAUZUN (6) who always acquits himself honourably.

    C8 – PRIX DE LA BOULANGERIE FAGES – 2850m (a2m) – Class F – Harness – EUR € 24,000
  79. KINGLY DREAMS – Finished 7th in a Class F over 2,100m here on 7 September. Has looked very ordinary for some time and can be confidently disregarded
  80. KEATANA DU METZ – Has done nothing noteworthy since winning at Saint-Galmier in February and can be confidently passed over
  81. JAWENN DE KERYANN – Finished 10th in a Class G over course and distance on 6 September, a week after having run second in an amateurs Class H on turf, and reunited with his trainer could well finish in the mix
  82. KALINE DES RIOULTS – Successful in a Class H Amateurs’ race at Macon-Cluny over 2,725m on 30 August. Faces a stiffer test on this occasion and is unlikely to shake things up
  83. KEIGHT BLESS – Won a pair at La Rochelle before finishing unplaced in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,750m on 28 August. Will appreciate the return to racing left-handed and can set the record straight
  84. KIF DE L’UNE – Encouraged at Aix-les-Bains but failed to confirm when unplaced in an amateurs Class G at Divonne a month ago, and cannot be considered a player
  85. KHEOPS DU LOISIR – Would have finished 3rd in a 2100m Class F here on 7 September had he not lost his action. Is patently in fine shape and will be expected to challenge for a place on the podium
  86. KINGSLEY – Has been disqualified in 10 consecutive starts, the latest a Class F over 2,100m here on 7 September, his first appearance since late-May. Is useful when focused though, has been re-shod, and cannot be discounted
  87. KELROC – Finished 3rd in a Class F at Argentan over 2,150m on 16 August. Is well-engaged and is in good shape, but at this level is unlikely to create an upset
  88. KOPECK DE CHENU – Mixes the good with the less good, most recently finishing unplaced in a Class G on turf already last month. Sports four pads for the first time, but others still easier to trust
  89. KEROS DES BAUX – Successful in a Class H at Jullianges over 2,425m on 23 August, complementing his Aix-les-Bains victory, and even from the back row looks a leading contender
  90. KANT – Put his Cabourg clinker behind him when securing a Class H at Erbray over 2,675m on 30 August. Is new to Feurs but, with form maintained, can make a big splash
    Summary: Although disappointing in his recent hat-trick bid at Cabourg, KEIGHT BLESS (5) should not be written off too quickly and from the front row could well return to winning ways. KANT (12), convincing winner at Erbray, will provide the main opposition alongside KEROS DES BAUX (11) who returns to Feurs on a three-timer. KHEOPS DU LOISIR (7) showed his form despite being eliminated here recently and deserves another chance.

  1. JALMAROSA – Outclassed the opposition in a Class G Amateurs’ race at Laval over 2,850m on 4 September. Drops in distance but can follow up
  2. JEUNE ORANGE COTON – Disqualified twice in last three starts, the latest in a Class F at Caen over 2,450m on 18 June. Capable of a surprise when smart
  3. HYSIS VENESI – Successful in a Class F Amateurs’ race at Enghien over 2,150m on 1 July. Showed a form return and could double` up
  4. HATALANTE DE FLO – Victorious in Class F at Laval over 2650m on 23 August. Has improved of late and is clearly not out of it
  5. JACADI D’ARGILIN – Knocking at the door and was runner-up in a Class G Amateurs’ race at Saint Malo over 2,950m on 15 August . Can go one place better
  6. HELIA DAIRPET – Finished 9th in a Class F Amateurs’ race at Laval over 2,650m on 23 August. Needs to do more to beat these rivals
  7. INDY DE MAI – Came home 5th in a Class H at Evreux over 2,725m on 6 September. Has some fair form and could play a minor role
  8. JURELLA DE PALM – Disqualified twice in a row, the latest in class E at Redon over 2950m on 6 September. Not easy to trust but is capable of an upset
  9. IN LOVE DE CHARDET – Finished 13th in Class E at Redon over 2950m on 6 September. Off form and needs to find a few lengths to beat these rivals
  10. HEGA DES LANDIERS – Unreliable and finished 9th in Class F at Craon over 2775m on 7 September. Capable of playing a minor role if at best
  11. JADESKA – Disqualified in Class H at Landivisiau over 3200m on 6 September. Battling to find best form and others are preferred
  12. ISA DU PRESSOIR – Finished 6th in Class H at Berck-Sur-Mer over 2600m on 15 August. Has only been modest of late and others make more appeal
  13. GYPSIE MAGIQUE – Finished 4th in a Class G Amateurs’ race at La Capelle over 1,800m on 2 September. In good shapeand could make the frame
  14. JOULE DE LA FYE – Came home 5th in a Class G at Cholet over 2,800m on 6 April. Has some fair form but could need this run returning from a break
    Summary: ALMAROSA (1) is unbeaten in two starts in this category and can maintain her perfect record. HYSIS VENESI (3), has been rested since winning at Enghien in early July but looks the main danger. HATALANTE DE FLO (4) has rediscovered her best form this summer and should be involved in the battle. A proven performer at this level, GYPSIE MAGIQUE (13) must overcome an unfavourable starting position but cannot be ruled out.

  16. LA PERLA DE LOU – Disqualified twice in last three starts, including last time out in Class E at this track over 2725m on 21 August. Can be a threat when smart
  17. LAGHERTHA DU PONT – Unplaced in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,725m on 21 August. Clearly unreliable but might be the surprise package of the race
  18. LIBERTY HEROLD – Unplaced in a Class E at this course over 2,725m on 21 August. Off form and needs to find a few lengths to score
  19. LYA DU VIVIER – An excellent runner-up in a Class F at Lisieux over 2,725m on 29 August. Threatening to score and must be respected
  20. LET’S GO SMART – Unplaced in a Class E Apprentices’ race at Laval over 2,850m on 10 September. Has only been moderate of late and more is needed to score
  21. LOLITA CHARMEUSE – Unplaced in a Class E at this course over 2,725m on 21 August. Had some good form before that and could be a lively danger

He should like the step up in distance. SCATY CHOP (1) has been placed on both starts and can once again be involved at the finish. CANNCITY (2) looks the best of the remainder.

TABARUS (1) was a decent second on his penultimate start and can be expected to be involved in the finish. CHAKIFA (5) is another worthy of consideration.
