R1 VINCENNES [L-H]

C1 – PRIX DE BAYEUX – 2850m (a2m) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 40,000

  1. MINIMUM – Runner-up in a Class E at Angers over 3,125m on 9 September. Is not the most reliable of horses and cannot be considered a player
  2. MORPHEUS DE GUEZ – Was unable to secure the hat-trick when disqualified in a Class B at Les Sables-d’Olonne 2.5 weeks ago. Should take well to the main-track profile and Eric Raffin will be eager to put things back in order
  3. MAITRE DU CHENE – Ran 6th in a Class D over 2,700m here on 1 September, a month after having won a Cagnes class E. Has never produced the goods at Vincennes and is unlikely to start now
  4. MILLIUM QUESNOT – Modest individual that has done nothing noteworthy in 2026 and can be confidently disregarded
  5. MAESTRO DES SARTS – Second in a Class E over 2,700m here on 26 August. Has been knocking at the door over recent weeks, but at this level will struggle to make his mark
  6. MAJOR D’IVY – Ran second in three straight before finishing 8th in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,700m on 1 September. Is clearly better than that and improvement is expected
  7. MUST DE VILLARD – Got back in the game a month ago when third in a 2050m Laval Class D. Is confirmed at Vincennes, is competitively-shod, and Guillaume Martin has form with him. Chance
  8. MINOU D’ECHAL – Third in a Class B at Les Sables D’Olonne over 2,750m on 3 September. Has won three of his last five starts and makes his Vincennes debut barefoot and with a good hand to play
  9. MAESTRO TEJY – Runner up in his last two, most recently a Class D at Laval over 2,050m on 19 August. Gets the chance to race barefoot this time, and should be able to bring home the spoils
  10. MAGNIFICAT – Finished 5th in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,700m on 1 September. Is not a priority but is nicely-entered and can play a small role
  11. MISSILE DE TAGOR – Finished 4th in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,700m on 1 September. Enjoys a good entry, is plainly in shape, and is unlikely to be far from the action
    Summary: It’s very open. MAESTRO TEJY (9), barefoot for the first time and deserving of a reward for his recent efforts, MORPHEUS DE GUEZ (2), who finished ahead of him on 29 July, MUST DE VILLARD (7), also first-time barefoot, and MINOU D’ECHAL (8), in top form and similarly with shoes off, are all capable of winning.

  12. NEAL DU VIVIER – Made short work of a Cabourg Class D on re-entry late last month. Will have progressed for the race and can repeat
  13. NERPRUN – Got off the mark in a 2650m Class D at Les Sables-d’Olonne 3.5 weeks ago. Faces a much stiffer test on this occasion and is unlikely to spring any surprises
  14. NINIO DE MALAC – Has merit but disqualified in last two, most recently a 2850m Class C here three weeks ago, and others easier to trust
  15. NAPOLEON DE GAGOU – Successful in a Class B at La Capelle over 2,750m on 2 September. Is new to Vincennes, sports four pads this time, and will have a part to play if he takes to the new conditions
  16. NECTAR TRANSEEN – Victorious in a Class D at Auch over 2,800m on 6 September, making it 2 from last 3, but under these conditions will have too much to do
  17. NOBLE DE SOURCE – Won a Class D at Feurs over 2,100m on 7 September, his first start for two months. Takes on a bigger challenge this time but has earned the right to race here and must be taken seriously
  18. NATIWHEL – Has not been seen out since running second in a Class B over 2,200m here on 25 February. Has been fitted with pads for comeback, but is going to need the race
  19. NOCCATO D’ORLY – Should not be too hastily-condemned for losing his action in a 2850m Class C here 3 weeks ago. Benjamin Rochard has maintained faith and can play a leading role if he keeps his charge focused
  20. NARKOS DU PAIN – Opened his autumn account when winning a class D over course and distance 3.5 weeks ago. Is most unlikely to repeat but should nevertheless given an honourable account
  21. NOMAN’S POINT – Has not been seen out since running 2nd in a Class C at Enghien over 2,150m on 11 July, but is a serious future prospect and on class alone can finish in the money
  22. NAMOUR DE MONTFORT – Brilliant winner of a 2175m Class D here 12 days ago. Has never disappointed in current configuration and is not about to begin now
  23. NICOU CHAK – Imposed at Divonne on 20 August before finishing unplaced in a Gr.2 over course and distance nine days later. Is back to racing shod and Anthony Barrier can be confident of putting things right
    Summary: Once again, there are plenty of possibilities. NEAL DU VIVIER (1), impressive winner on his comeback at Cabourg needs nobody to make his case for him. NOCCATO D’ORLY (8), should logically bounce back from his recent blip. NAMOUR DE MONTFORT (11), winner on his first association with Eric Raffin, and a shod NICOU CHAK (12), who drops back to a more reasonable level, will be expected to spice things up.

  24. NEW GIRL OF MAMAT – Lost her maiden status in a Class E under these conditions 3.5 weeks ago but the step up in category looks to be a step too far
  25. NAUSICA DE CORBERY – Finished 3rd in a Class C over course and distance on 1 September. In this category though is unlikely to make her presence felt
  26. NEPAL MISA – Serious type that has shown decent aptitude for the ridden game, lastly 3rd in a Class C under these conditions 3 weeks ago. Is in superior company this time but should nevertheless hold his own
  27. NINA ROSE – Opened her metropolitan account across town in early-August, three weeks before running fifth in a 28m Class C here. At this level though may find the going a bit too tough
  28. NOVA ISTORIA CHOC – Finished 4th in a harness Class C over 2,850m here on 31 August. Switches code for the first time and, if form transitions, can finish in the mix
  29. NAYAMA BERRY – Finished 9th in a Group III at Vincennes over 2,175m on 22 August, after having won an Enghien Class C the previous month. Would be better on a more even track and others preferred
  30. NEMESIS DU METZ – Has not been seen out since running 4th in a Class C at Enghien over 2,250m on 16 July. Comes here fresh but is being aimed too high
  31. NINA FOX – Runner-up in a Class B at Enghien over 2,875m on 27 June. Has not been seen out since but is in race-mode and will have her supporters
  32. NOSTRA VERO – Fine future prospect that got straight down to business on re-entry, winning a Class C at Enghien over 2,250m on 14 August. Takes on a better lot this time but still looks eminently up to the task
  33. NEPTUNE CHANTE – Finished 4th in a harness Class B at Enghien over 2,875m on 10 August. Has shown enough under harness to debut confidently in the monte code and can make it a winning one
  34. NEWTON ELLIS – Complicated colt that got back in the winners’ circle 3 weeks ago when securing a Class C over course and distance, and if behaved can give this a good go
  35. NATURALLY STAR – Ran 3rd at Enghien on 10 August, 2 weeks before losing her action in a Class A over course and distance. Has been reconfigured for the occasion and will be reunited with Emeline Desmigneux who won with her here earlier in the year
  36. NANIKA DU PONT – Faces first objective of the season following a pair of harness fresheners, most recently 5th in a Class B at Rochefort Sur Loire over 3,000m on 17 August. Is competitively-shod and, if applied, can play a leading role
    Summary: Philippe Allaire appears to hold the key with monte debutant NEPTUNE CHANTE (10), who has shown some class under harness, and NOSTRA VERO (9), winner on his comeback at Enghien and sporting front pads this time. NEWTON ELLIS (11), provided he stays in stride, will attempt to challenge them alongside NANIKA DU PONT (13), fitted with 4 pads for the first time.

  37. TOSCANA SOUTHWIND – Third in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,850m on 12 September, at 89-1. Will not be sent out at the same price but is unlikely to be as competitive either
  38. DILVA JET – Produced a pair of good efforts before finishing lacklustre 10th in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,850m on 12 September. Was denied a run that day but can put things right if kept out of trouble
  39. JUNKIE (SWE) – Finished surprisingly well-beaten 12th in a Class D over 2,850m here on 12 September. Is a long way off her best form and must first reassure
  40. DADA DEL RONCO – Should not be too hastily-judged for running 7th in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,850m on 12 September. Was unlucky that day, is clearly in form, and has a decent chance of finishing close
  41. FAXIMA – Tough veteran that ran 4th in a 2850m Class D here last weekend. Presents decent main-track credentials but looks a minor place prospect at best this time
  42. HANA D’OCCAGNES – Finished 13th in a monte Class D over 2,175m here on 5 September. Has been re-shod but has nothing to offer here
  43. JUNON DE LOU – Did not enjoy the best of trips when fifth in a 2700m Class D at La Capelle 2.5 weeks ago, but still has too much to do
  44. JANE CASH – 7th in a Laval Class D on 28 August when preparing for this. Damien Bonne has already won 3 times with her and will be hoping to add a 4th
  45. JALOUZ D’OLIVERIE – In the frame in 3 of last 4, most recently just headed in a 2850m Class D here last weekend, and can bring the fight to JANE CASH (8)
  46. IRIS RIVOISE – Finished 3rd in a Class D at Salon-De-Provence over 3,000m on 12 September. Has placed just once in five main-track starts though and can be passed over
  47. IDOLE JALLERIE – Eliminated on re-entry in a Redon Class E 2 weeks ago. Is barefoot as she was when victorious here in June, but is still not a priority
  48. JITANE VALLEE – Third in a Class B at Feurs over 2,850m on 7 September. Has not put a foot wrong since returning to competition in May and should prove competitive at the business end of the race
  49. DIVA DEL RONCO – Ran 8th, on comeback, in a 2850m Class C here late last month. Is barefoot this time and, considering the engagement, will be no pushover
    Summary: JANE CASH (8) has had three starts to prepare for this; she presents good barefoot credentials and will legitimately garner significant support. Her main rival will be JALOUZ D’OLIVERIE (9) who ran an excellent second over 2850m here last weekend. DIVA DEL RONCO (13), barefoot this time, benefits from a terrific entry and is clearly a candidate for a place on the podium. JITANE VALLEE (12) was beaten only by two high-class 6 year-olds last time and returns to Vincennes with legitimate ambitions. DADA DEL RONCO (4) can be forgiven her recent blip.

  50. HEDIC GEMA – Finished 8th in a Group II at Vincennes over 2,175m on 1 September. Has done nothing noteworthy since winning a Cagnes Class B earlier in the year and can be passed over
  51. HEURISTIQUE – Was still in the running for a place cheque before losing her action in a Class A under these conditions on 22 August. With application though, can make first five
  52. INDIGO DE FONTAINE – Successful in a Class A at Vincennes over 2,850m on 22 August, his 2nd Class A victory in 3 starts. Is twice a Gr.3 winner, has solid references under these conditions, and looks principal threat to IMPALA DE VAL (12)
  53. HEDEN CRUZ – Third in a harness Class D Amateurs’ race at Vichy over 4,275m, when preparing for this, on 12 September. Has form under these conditions and is unlikely to be too far from the action
  54. KELLY DE BANVILLE – Finished 6th in a Group II over 2,175m here on 1 September, 3 weeks after having run 3rd in Gr.2 Prix de Londres, and cannot be discounted
  55. GRANIT MESLOIS – Finished 17th in a Class D at Laval over 2,850m on 23 August, when preparing for this. Is none other than the 2023 winner but still has no realistic chance
  56. FILOU D’ANJOU – Failed to confirm Auch performance when outclassed in a 2175m Gr.2 here on 1 September and can be confidently disregarded
  57. HALFA – Out of the picture in both harness return runs. Sports 4 pads for the occasion but would be preferred barefoot
  58. KAPAULA DE L’EPINE – Fifth in a Group II over 2,175m here on 1 September, her first appearance since early-June. Is barefoot this time and, although not a contender, will still be worth watching
  59. FILWELL – Not quite the model of consistency one would like, but has bags of ability and will be expected to put his Prix Camille Lepecq performance behind him. Place chance
  60. FULTON – As tricky as they get but ran an excellent second in the 2175m Gr.2 Prix Camille Lepecq here earlier in the month and should be good enough to make the frame once more
  61. IMPALA DE VAL – Winner of his last 4 starts, lastly outclassing the opposition in a Group II over 2,175m here on 1 September, and barring force majeure should have this in the bag
    Summary: IMPALA DE VAL (12) has no rivals to match him and should edge ever closer to that €1 million mark. At the top of his game, INDIGO DE FONTAINE (3) is barefoot and preferred to 2024 winner FULTON (11), a recent runner-up to our selection, and FILWELL (10), who will appreciate returning to a more suitable distance.

  62. JOPLIN DES CROUAS – Reassuring 4th in a Vichy Class E last weekend. Is confirmed under these conditions and, with application, can bring home the bacon
  63. DISTILLATO – Made amends for Divonne clinker when 3rd over 2400m at Avenches 3.5 weeks ago. Has been reconfigured and, while not a priority, should nevertheless give this a good go.
  64. JOURNAL INTIME – Finished 4th in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,100m on 11 September. Consistently gives everything he can and enjoys a realistic chance of picking up a first-five payout
  65. HORACIO DE CERISY – An exceptional individual that failed to make any impact in a 2700m Class E here on 4 September and is not about to set off any fireworks
  66. DOMENIK JET – Has been enjoying a rich vein of form since earlier in the year, most recently winning a Divonne Class E with ease on 18 August, and should again acquit himself competitively
  67. IN LOVE D’ECAJEUL – Failed to secure the three-timer when runner-up in a Class D over course and distance on 11 September. Starts in front and, if applied, can trot his way back into the winners’ enclosure
  68. LORENZO BOKO – Has not been seen out since being disqualified in a Class E at Toulouse over 2,750m on 10 April. Is barefoot for comeback but others still preferred
  69. JOYCE ANGOT – Ran 7th in a Class E at Landivisiau over 3,200m on 6 September. Has been rather disappointing since late-May and is unlikely to spring any surprises
  70. IPIPOURAX PAULOIS – Third in a Class E over 2,700m here on 4 September. Seldom disappoints with his trainer in the bike and can challenge for a place in the picture
  71. BELGIQUE (SWE) – Makes Vincennes debut after running 7th in a Chateaubriant Class E last weekend, his first start south of Scandinavia, and is not a concern
  72. JOISO POKER PRO – Clearly useful but has been out of sorts since early-July. Is shod to preference but still has no possible chance
    Summary: Let’s renew faith in JOPLIN DES CROUAS (1), who would have played a leading role on 24 August had he not made a mistake exiting the final bend. IN LOVE D’ECAJEUL (6), who has been a revelation over recent weeks and who will run barefoot, and DOMENIK JET (5), who has won 4 of his last 6 races, are also potential winners. IPIPOURAX PAULOIS (9) may not be ideally-drawn but he is plainly in fine shape and can also fight for the places.

  74. LYRA POTERIE – Won a Class D at Cabourg over 2,750m on 31 July. Has been fitted with shoes though and will have other priorities
  75. LA STAR DES ISLES – Will appreciate returning to a hard surface after running 7th in a Craon Class D earlier in the month. Is unlikely to create an upset but can still give this a good go
  76. LUNGA DES BROUSSES – Pleasantly surprising 4th in a 2875m Class D at Enghien on 12 August but a repeat seems unlikely
  77. LAMATTA – Has done nothing but improve over recent months, lastly dominating a Feurs Class E a fortnight ago. In better company here but in present shape is hard to ignore
  78. LOLA DU CAMPUS – Finished 5th in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,100m on 24 August 2026, at 40-1, and will struggle to confirm
  79. LITTLE ITALY – Fifth in a Class D at Enghien over 2,875m on 12 August. Has so far failed to replicate last autumn’s form but is on the right road. First 5
  80. LINOTTE DU MOUCHEL – Fourth in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,100m on 24 August. Has been knocking at the door for some time and, although unlikely to get her head in front, can nevertheless contest a place on the podium
  81. LOU DU DONJON – Reunited with Alexandre Abrivard after having been disqualified when prepping at Cabourg late last month. Is barefoot for the occasion and, with application, can get straight back down to business
  82. LADY BIRD JENILAT – Useful mare that put a pair of sanctions behind her to run fourth in a Class D at Chateaubriant a week ago. Is shod to preference this time and, with application, is unlikely to let the side down
  83. LIBERTINE DJOB – Got back to winning ways on 23 August when securing an Arras Class E. A repeat, however, seems improbable
  84. LOUANGE CASTELETS – Failed to make any impact in a Class B at Vincennes over 2,100m on 12 September. Takes a notable dip in category and Eric Raffin will be keen to put things right
  85. LESTANCIA BELLA – Returns to a track she appreciates after securing 3 straight in the provinces and can expect the lion’s share of support
    Summary: LESTANCIA BELLA (13), on a four-timer, LOU DU DONJON (9), who has won her last three barefoot starts, and LAMATTA (5), who thoroughly deserved her recent victory, can be preferred to LOUANGE CASTELETS (12), who should not be too harshly-condemned for her latest run, and LINOTTE DU MOUCHEL (8), who has been a model of consistency.

  86. KATHARINA DE MAI – Put a pair of disqualifications behind her to smartly win a Laval Class F on 28 August and is not incapable of confirming, provided Benjamin Rochard keeps her focused
  87. KEPI DEL – Complicated individual that was disqualified on comeback at La Capelle on 25 August and is still in conditioning-mode
  88. KOH PHI PHI ISLAND – Disappointing in 3 after having won a Cagnes Class F on 1 August. Has been re-shod but others still easier to back
  89. KALISCO PLANCHETTE – Fourth in a Class E at Cagnes-sur-Mer over 2,925m on 13 August. Has hardly put a foot out of place since June, but will have his work cut out for him here
  90. KADOR DU MONT – Outclassed the opposition in a Class F at Les Sables-d’Olonne a month ago, on his first start for Alexis Grimault, and in similar shape can repeat
  91. KIARA DES BORDES – Ran second in a Class G at Les Sables-d’Olonne in mid-August but failed to confirm when fifth in a 2725m Pornichet Class F 10 days later, and can be ruled out
  92. KENDO JIEL – Ran reassuring 5th in a Segre Class H last weekend, however at this level will have nothing to offer
  93. KARELLE DU DORAT – Won a Class F at Lisieux over 2,725m on 17 August, a month after scoring at Pornichet. Has never left Vincennes empty-handed and is not about to start now
  94. KALIO DE BRAYE – Victorious in a Class G at Les Sables D’Olonne over 2,650m on 17 August. Takes on a better lot here but is competitively-shod this time and unlikely to disappoint
  95. KALINE DE LA COUR – No slouch on a good day but out of the picture in 3 of last 4 starts and even with Eric Raffin reining is not a concern
  96. KAROLUS FAIR – Finished 10th in a Class E Apprentices’ race at Mauquenchy over 2,150m on 10 September, 12 days after coming 3rd in a 2100m Class D here, but still has too much to do
  97. KABRI – Has enjoyed a productive run of form since early-spring. Will be reunited with David Thomain and, barefoot this time, will be no soft touch
  98. KIBORA BUISSONAY – Got back in the winners’ circle after securing a Class D at La Capelle on 25 August. Has no particular love for the Vincennes main track though and can be passed over
  99. KELRAPIDE DU LUPIN – Excellent servant that imposed at La Rochelle in late-July before running second in a Feurs Class F a fortnight ago. Goes barefoot for the first time and on good behaviour can return to winning ways
  100. KSAR D’ESSARTS – Like a horse reborn since early-July, most recently winning a Francheville Class F on 15 August. Faces a much tougher task on this occasion though and looks a minor place chance at best
  101. KAVRIK DE GUEZ – In the frame in last two, most recently third in a Class E at Les Sables D’Olonne over 2,775m on 26 August. Is clearly in form but still needs to find more
  102. KRUGER DU NORD – Finished 5th in a Class F at Lyon-Parilly over 2,850m on 4 September. Always gives his best and, although not a priority, enjoys a good engagement and can get a look in
  103. KALIPETTE JELOCA – Complicated but talented mare that ran a reassuring second in a 2750m Cabourg Class F on 1 September. Takes a step up in category but enjoys a terrific entry and has the wherewithal to finish close
    Summary: There are plenty of potential winners here. KADOR DU MONT (5), impressive winner at Les Sables-d’Olonne, KELRAPIDE DU LUPIN (14), barefoot for the first time, KATHARINA DE MAI (1), successful at Laval, KALIO DE BRAYE (9), winner of his only start in the day’s configuration, and KABRI (12), barefoot for his reunion with David Thomain.

  104. LARGINO BRAVOURE – Won an 1800m Class F at La Capelle on 14 June after having been off the track for 16 months, so returning victoriously after 3 months off is well within his capability
  105. LORENZACCIO – Fourth in a Class E Apprentices’ race at Laval over 2,850m on 10 September. Consistently gives everything he has, but appears to be out of his depth this time
  106. LOUISON DE FORGAN – Close runner-up in a Class F at Laval over 2,850m on 28 August. Guillaume Martin gets the nod this time and can be forgiven for feeling bullish
  107. LUDO PAROYO – Encouraged at Enghien in August but failed to confirm two weeks ago in a 2700m Class E here, and can be passed over
  108. LAMENTIN – Made up for Cabourg disqualification when successful in a Lisieux Class F 3 weeks ago. In this company though, will struggle to repeat
  109. LILBERT DU CHENAIS – Was unable to secure the hat-trick when second in a Class E at Les Sables D’Olonne over 2,650m on 26 August. Benjamin Rochard has been drafted in for the occasion and will be expecting a big performance
  110. LEO VIVA – Consistently-performant type that ran third in a Laval Class E 10 days ago. Seldom disappoints in the day’s configuration and looks good enough to pick up a cheque
  111. LORD MIL – Made up for early-September disqualification when authoritatively winning a Chartres Class F 9 days ago and, barefoot this time, a repeat is not out of the question
  112. LOVE ACTUALLY – Was not disgraced when 5th in a 2700m Class E here a fortnight ago, but still has more to find
  113. LOUKOUM DE L’ITON – Particularly performant in the claiming division but has been showing improvement, lastly fourth in an Agon Class F on 16 August, but still represents no more than a minor place prospect
  114. LISANDRO FIORELLO – Imposed at Plesse in July before running 3rd in an Agon Class F on 16 August. Has been entrusted to Alexandre Abrivard for the first time and has a reasonable chance of giving LOUISON DE FORGAN (3) something to think about
