R1 ENGHIEN [L-H]
C1 – PRIX D’ARMENTIERES – 2875m (a2m) – Class C – Mounted – EUR € 46,000
- MALLAURY D’AVEL – Capable filly that has so far failed to confirm this term but has been re-shod for the occasion. In this company though is unlikely to shake things up
- MANIGOD – Unexceptional trotter that has made little impact so far this year and is not about to change his ways
- MOJITA – Quality filly deemed good enough to compete at Group level. Eric Raffin in the irons for seasonal return and is in with a realistic shout of making it a successful one
- MAESTRIA GALAA – Runner-up in a Cagnes Gr.3 earlier in the year. Has not been seen since late-March, has yet to deliver under the saddle, but sports a new configuration and cannot be ruled out
- MATFABEN D’ENJE – Back doing what he does best, impressively winning a Vincennes Class C on 19 May. Comes here fresh and will be no pushover on Enghien debut
- MAMBO DU TAILLIS – Serious element taking first competitive monte steps after opening his 2026 account under harness. Alexandre Abrivard knows him well and will afford him every chance
- MADAME CHENU – Steps back up in class after finishing unthreatening 6th in a Caen Gr.2 almost 2 months ago but is unlikely to influence the outcome
- MAINTENANTOUJAMAIS – Regularly a question of all-or-nothing but showed her form when beaten only by a very good horse at Vincennes 3.5 weeks ago and will be no easy touch if Anthony Barrier keeps him focused
Summary: A fine campaigner with a good record in the discipline, MOJITA (3) may not have been seen out since February but she will be competitively-shod for her re-entry and Mathieu Mottier has called on Eric Raffin for the occasion. Recent winner at Marseille-Borely, MAMBO DU TAILLIS (6) has been freshly-reconfigured for his monte debut and should be good enough to challenge for the spoils. Consistently in the thick of things when focused, MAINTENANTOUJAMAIS (8) should find Enghien conditions to his liking.

C2 – PRIX DU PARC MONTSOURIS – 2875m (a2m) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 35,000 - MEGANE DE VALMONT – Surprise 5th in a Cherbourg Class F 10 days ago but has otherwise been rather disappointing and cannot be considered a priority
- MELODY DE L’EPINE – Has been completely out of sorts since placing at Mauquenchy in March and appears to have little to offer
- MIMI DU MESNIL – Won her first 3 but has found the going tougher of late. Cannot be discounted but still represents little more than a minor place chance
- MA BIMBO – Has yet to get her nose in front this term but ran 3rd in a Class E over course and distance last week and Alexis Collette has been drafted in for the occasion. First 5
- MARINA SOMOLLI – Clearly back on track following a pair of conditioners, but takes on a superior lot this time and chances limited
- MACARENA – Complicated filly that got back in the game on 11 June when securing a Laval Class E. Eric Raffin has opted for another and Matthieu Abrivard has picked up a decent spare drive. Attention
- MUSIC DE BERTRANGE – Was unable to secure the three-timer when eliminated in a Lisieux Class D early last month but is plainly in rude health and Yoann Lebourgeois will be keen to make amends. Chance
- MAEVA DES BAUX – Has looked a different horse since switching handlers, most recently winning a Vichy Class D unopposed mid-June. Has no left-handed references but is still easy to recommend
- MERRY DE MALABRY – Placed in 2 straight before being eliminated in a Vincennes Class D 3.5 weeks ago. Boasts a good record with Eric Raffin and is as capable racing left-handed as right-. Place chance
- MANUELLA DE PLAY – Most impressive last season but has looked rather ordinary since returning to competition this season. Races barefoot for just the 2nd time but would be preferred going clockwise
- MARBELLA – Has 3 runs under her belt this term, having missed all of 2025, and a repeat of her Cholet run would assure her a slice of the pie
- MANZANA – Most impressive earlier in the year but has since lost her way and will first need to re-establish her credentials
- MORGANE DE HOERDT – Made a winning comeback at Lyon-Parilly 2 months back prior to coming 3rd in a Vichy Class D 10 days ago. Goes barefoot again and, although not a priority, is still worth keeping an eye on
- MALINE DU PLESSIS – Wonderfully-engaged filly making Enghien bow on a hat-trick, latterly winning with ease at La Capelle on 14 June, and has a realistic chance of pulling it off
Summary: MALINE DU PLESSIS (14) has been exceptional this term, winning 3 of 4, and a repeat of her latest performance should be enough to open her Paris account. Paul Ploquin will be justifiably wary of the on-form MUSIC DE BERTRANGE (7) who must be forgiven her Lisieux blip, and the serious MERRY DE MALABRY (9) who will be reunited with Eric Raffin after having been sanctioned at Vincennes 3.5 weeks ago. MAEVA DES BAUX (8) has found her form since moving yards and will be no soft touch if she turns.

C3 – PRIX D’ESTRY – 2875m (a2m) – Class C – Mounted – EUR € 53,000 - LUDMILA DETE – Produced a hat-trick last summer but has not been as sharp since. Held her own in a Gr.2 on penultimate start though and can get in on the action if she deigns to keep trotting
- LOUVE ANGEL – Has made no impact all year in either code and will have nothing to contribute
- LUNIK DU CHOQUEL – Appears to have found his niche in the claiming category. Returns to the code in decent shape but still has too much to find
- LEADER DE SEVRE – Easily distracted but can trot. Has not raced since winning a Vincennes Class C unopposed in February. Will have work behind him and, patently in competition-mode, looks the one to beat
- LION DES ISLES – Quality type facing first target of the season following a good harness return at Vichy 10 days ago. Has never excelled at Enghien but there is a first for everything. Chance
- KEPHYR D’ESTE – Produced 2 excellent comeback runs prior to losing all chance at the start here last Monday. Is unlikely to get his head in front but can challenge for a first-5 payout
- L’AS DE SMARVES – Has won 2 of the 3 monte races he has run, latterly a 2250m Class D here on 27 April. Has been kept on the boil and Alexandre Abrivard can be confident of a big run
- KRONOS DE VANDEL – Disappointing in both codes this term, latterly eliminated in a Class D over track and trip last Monday, and can be passed over
- KING OF JIEL – Has looked a shadow of his former self this term. Has previously won in this configuration but others still easier to back
- KRISTALE D’ERABLE – Took little time getting back in the game, running 2nd in a Caen Class E on 10 June. Returns to a particularly productive formula and is unlikely to disappoint
Summary: Sent for a rest after imposing at Vincennes in February, LEADER DE SEVRE (4) is barefoot for his return to competition and could well get straight down to business if he keeps his action together. Winner at Caen before the break, LION DES ISLES (5) is back under the saddle following a necessary harness freshener and Alexis Collette can be forgiven for feeling bullish. A winner in both codes this year, L’AS DE SMARVES (7) returns to the venue with a realistic chance of repeating. KRISTALE D’ERABLE (10) put in a reassuringly good performance at Caen last time, has been reconfigured, and Benjamin Rochard gets the nod.

C4 – PRIX D’ORGEVAL – 2150m (a1m1/4) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 52,000 - INSTALL D’ALOUETTE – Failed to confirm Le Mans performance when 6th in a Class E at La Roche-Posay in late-May. Appears to be close to his best and has previously won here
- ISSIA DE CHARLY – Unexceptional mare that has made little impact so far this year and is unlikely to start now
- ICARE DES VALOIS – Got back in the winners’ circle at Graignes in April but has twice failed to confirm and cannot be regarded a priority
- HIBISCUS DE LATOM – Has not got his nose in front for almost 2 years but is no slouch when focused. Benefits from a good draw, with Yoann Lebourgeois reining, and is not to be underestimated
- I LOVE JOSSELYN – Should not be too hastily-judged for faulting on comeback in Marseille on 10 June. Enjoys a good draw and from the front row and can play a leading role
- INEDIT DU PAVILLON – Made up for Granville clinker when 3rd of 12 in an Amiens Class E on 11 June. Enjoys a front row draw here and Matthieu Abrivard gets the nod this time
- HORACE D’ARTHENAY – Pleasantly-surprising, but flattering, 4th in a Nantes Class D 12 days ago and has no possible chance
- IRENO DES PLAINES – Has been holding his own lately but has not been the most courageous either. Breaks wide and is unlikely to spice things up
- IVON DE LA MONERIE – Has much improved over recent months, latterly 3rd in a Chartres Class E 2.5 weeks ago, but is biting off more than he can chew this time
- HEROS DHELPA – Pleased for the most part earlier in the year but was well-beaten in last 2 and the draw will do him no favours
- IDEFIX JIHEM – Took not time getting back in the winners’ enclosure after his break, winning comfortably on turf on 7 June. Will only have come on for the race and even from the back row can impose
- HOUSTON DE CUIGNY – Not the easiest of horses to handle but will be reunited with Eric Raffin who has never disappointed with him and, even from the back line, can finish in the mix
- IMPACT PLAYER – Got back in the game at Lignieres in late-May before taking on too much at Vincennes 2 weeks ago. Drops marginally in category, has form at the venue, and is unlikely to let the side down
- INTREPIDE DES BOIS – Placed in 2 before losing his action in a Graignes Class F a fortnight back, but has little going for him here and can be passed over
- HELALI DE MONTCEAU – Gives a good account for the most part and most recently finished a place behind INEDIT DU PAVILLON (6) at Amiens on 11 June. Has pulled a rough number though and others preferred
- HOLLYWOOD TORINO – Useful on a good day but has not been seen out for over 2 months and is going to need the race
Summary: Most impressive winner on the Rambouillet turf on re-entry early last month, IDEFIX JIHEM (11) again starts on the back row but will have improved for the race and can double his money. INSTALL D’ALOUETTE (1) is better than recent numbers would suggest and is better-positioned. I LOVE JOSSELYN (5) has a race under his belt since the layup and it is just a matter of time before he opens his 2026 tab. IMPACT PLAYER (13) failed at Vincennes to confirm his Lignieres success but in this company looks a better proposition. HOUSTON DE CUIGNY (12) will be reunited with the champion driver and can put recent sanctions behind him.

C5 – PRIX DU MOULIN ROUGE – 2875m (a2m) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 56,000 - J’ENVISAGE DUBRIO – Faulted early, losing all chance, in a Caen Class F on 22 June. Has otherwise been in good shape this year and is not to be overlooked
- JUNE D’ERABLE – Has started to come good again, latterly 2nd in a Caen Class F on 10 June. Finds herself in better company here but is still worth keeping an eye on
- JAVA DE BOITRON – Sprang a 28-1 surprise when successful in a Chartres Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Boasts fine credentials with Eric Raffin in the bike and on good behaviour is unlikely to let the side down
- JUNIOR ANGELE – Produced 4 fine performances before being eliminated under the saddle here last weekend. Top driver at the helm and has a reasonable chance of contesting a place on the podium
- JADE DE NAVARY – Has started to show a better side to herself over recent weeks, however in this category is unlikely to influence the result
- JAVA FAST – Occasionally a handful but has shown her form over the spring. Set her personal best at Caen mid-June and a similar effort would see her win another
- JAMAIS – Ran 2nd at Le Croise-Laroche before failing to deliver at Laval recently. Is barefoot this time though and, very much at ease here, can contest the finish
- JASMIN BLANC – Moderate element whose last 3 starts having done nothing to impress and can be confidently disregarded
- JOSS CAPELLO – Reassuring 4th in a Pontchateau Class F a month ago. Has previously imposed under these conditions but is taking on too much this time
- JACK DU CEBE – Nicely engaged close to the limit of earnings and is clearly in fine fettle. Is dynamic in the day’s configuration and present form augurs well for his prospects
Summary: Even though somewhat erratic this year, JAVA FAST (6) has nevertheless won 2 of her last 4 starts, including over course and distance; he thrives with Yoann Lebourgeois and with application can repeat. JAMAIS (7) blows hot and cold too but will be barefoot for his first objective of the year and should show marked improvement on his Laval run. Wonderfully-consistent since earlier in the season, JACK DU CEBE (10) makes his Enghien bow on a double and is not incapable of pulling it off. JUNIOR ANGELE (4) turned a corner during the spring and Benjamin Rochard will be in the bike this time.

C6 – PRIX DU LOUVRE – 2875m (a2m) – Gr3 – Harness – EUR € 80,000 - FERAHAN AS – Gave a surprisingly good result on comeback when 4th behind FIRST TIME ROC (3) across town on 22 May, but still has more to find
- MANASLU – Has won 2 of 3 over course and distance, latterly a Class A on 13 June, and has the wherewithal to give MENTOR DE PLAY (11) a run for his money
- FIRST TIME ROC – Was unable to confirm his Class B result when 7th in 21 June race of reference, but was not disgraced that day and will have his supporters
- OMERTA BOKO – Hardy element whose recent results do not reflect his true capability but can get in on the action if Dominik Locqueneux keeps him applied
- LA STAR ROC – Ran reassuring 3rd in an Agen Class B in late-May but is being aimed too high this time
- MONZON NORMAND – Produced a good performance in Gr.3 MENTOR DE PLAY (11) at Vincennes on 21 June despite not being entirely at his ease. Would not be here were he not in with a chance and must be considered a contender
- LALUNA DES FORGES – Serious mare starting for the first time in 2 months. Stays shod for the occasion and best to keep one’s powder dry
- LILAS CASTELLE – Not the most reliable of horses but can trot. Has just the one race in him since the winter break but will be competitively-shod for the occasion and cannot be discounted
- LUPIN D’OLMEN – Continued his productive ways when 2nd in an Agen Gr.3 2.5 weeks ago. Is unbeaten in 2 Enghien starts and is unlikely to be far off the mark
- LASKO DES BROUSSES – Known more for his monte exploits but presents decent harness credentials all the same. Will have come on for his return run and the Eric Raffin factor must be accounted for
- MENTOR DE PLAY – An absolute revelation this year, winning 6 of 8. Pleased on sole Enghien start and even though reconfigured still looks good enough to win this
Summary: MENTOR DE PLAY (11) has enjoyed quite the renaissance in 2026 and most recently notched a 2nd Gr.3 success when tenaciously securing the Prix Raymond Fouard at Vincennes 2 weeks ago. He sports a fresh configuration for the occasion and can confirm. Fifth to him that day, but clearly better than the result would suggest, MONZON NORMAND (6) can figure prominently, but may first have to see off stablemate MANASLU (2) who showed his form under these conditions 3 weeks ago. LASKO DES BROUSSES (10) may be better in the other code but has form under harness here and Eric Raffin will have redemption on his mind.

C7 – PRIX DE ROME – 2150m (a1m1/4) – Gr3 – Harness – EUR € 80,000 - US DARBY – Won the Gr.2 Prix Paul Viel at Vincennes last time in France. Is unraced for over 2 months but is plainly in competition-mode and can bring the fight to NEBRASKA DE GINIER (8)
- NOE DES BAUX – Fine campaigner starting for first time in 2.5 months. Has form under these conditions, and with his driver, and is well-placed to give this a good go
- NET MONEY – Sprang a 128-1 surprise when 6th in a Vincennes Gr.1 a fortnight ago. Regular partner back in the bike but looks an outsider
- NEVER FORGET – Rather disappointing since returning from his winter break but is clearly capable when applied and from the 4 slot will be afforded every chance
- NOT THIS TIME – Never far from faulting but has talent in spades. Eliminated in Gr.1 Prix Albert Viel a fortnight ago but at this level can redeem himself and finish close
- NOELA JOSSELYN – Won a Vincennes Gr.3 earlier in the year but has been biting off more than she can chew since
- NEMROD BUROIS – Moderate colt that came 2nd to NEBRASKA DE GINIER (8), at 28-1, in Gr.3 Prix de l’Ecole Paul Bert a month ago, however a repeat seems unlikely
- NEBRASKA DE GINIER – Has done everything asked of him since the start of the season. Makes Enghien debut after winning 3 straight across town and should logically take all the beating
- NELSON DE BUSSET – Won a Gr.3 at Vincennes last winter but has not been the coolest of customers this season and will need to get his house in order
- ICEBERG BI – Useful transalpine raider but found the going tough in the race of reference and is unlikely to create an upset
- NICE TO SEE YOU – Good, consistent sort that ran 4th to NEBRASKA DE GINIER (8) in Gr.3 Prix de l’Ecole Paul Bert a month ago. Failed to deliver on sole Enghien run but in current shape will have his supporters
- NIKY ELDE – Placed twice at Vincennes before coming good 6th to NEBRASKA DE GINIER (8) in Gr.3 Prix de l’Ecole Paul Bert a month ago. Has had time to get back in shape and will not be far off the mark if Alexis Collette successfully negotiates the start
- I’M CEC – Takes first steps on French soil after having shown potential at home in Italy. Has been reconfigured for the occasion but is still not a priority
- ISIGNY DANCE – Takes first competitive steps on French territory after having imposed well at Villanova d’Albenga late last month but is taking on too much this time
Summary: Like a horse reborn after having been fitted with pads, NEBRASKA DE GINIER (8) makes his Enghien bow after securing 5 straight, most recently the Gr.3 Prix de l’Ecole Paul Bert at Vincennes a month ago, and will be well-backed to confirm. That said, he will still be opposed by the wonderfully-talented US DARBY (1) who has been competitively-shod for his first objective of the summer, and the complicated NOT THIS TIME (5) who returns to a more reasonable level. NOE DES BAUX (2) has not raced since finishing a place behind him in the Gr.3 Prix Atlas, but is shod to preference and has previously won for Matthieu Abrivard.

C8 – PRIX DE LA MANCHE – 2875m (a2m) – Gr3 – Harness – EUR € 90,000 - KRYSTAL PIYA – Steps back up in category after reassuring at Vincennes in late-May. Won the sole Gr.3 he has contested but faces a tougher task this time
- KAYA DREAM – Has started to come good following a tough start to the season, but would be preferred under the saddle
- EDGAR SABA – Not the easiest of horse to gauge, and has not won for some time, but presents solid Gr.3 credentials and will be barefoot this time
- IMPERATOR D’ELA – Pleased more than once last winter in Paris but has been out of the picture since returning in April and is unlikely to spice things up
- KAPTAIN DU LIAMONE – Showed marked improvement at Agen in late-May, just his 2nd start back. Has never disappointed at Enghien and is unlikely to start now. First 5
- JOTUNN DU DOME – Winner of a Lyon Gr.3 in April and has placed twice over course and distance since. Consistently gives his best and will be no pushover
- RIKITA JP – Has hardly put a foot wrong since March, latterly winning a Vincennes Class A with authority, and has the wherewithal to double her money
- JAZZMAN (GER) – Should not be too hastily-condemned for being eliminated over course and distance 3 weeks ago. Breaks wide here but has nothing to prove at this level and must be taken seriously
- LEARN TO FLY – Has been giving a good account in better company over recent months. Is confirmed at Enghien, will be reunited with Eric Raffin, and will be competitive at the business end of the race
- HEADSCOTT – Given an easy re-entry run here on 13 June. Is ideally-entered on the front line and, although not a priority, is still worth monitoring
- IBISCUS MAN – Won a Vincennes Class B on 6 June prior to being trounced in a Gr.2 a fortnight ago and even at this level will have his work cut out
- GENDREEN – Has been very hard to handle all year. Shoes back on and can be ruled out
Summary: Dominant winner of a Vincennes Gr.3 a fortnight ago after having lost her action in a Class B, RIKITA JP (7) is like a horse reborn this year and has every chance of wrapping this up too. Matthieu Abrivard will still want to be wary of LEARN TO FLY (9), the sole 5yo in the field, and the wonderfully-consistent JOTUNN DU DOME (6) who is clearly close to winning another. JAZZMAN (GER) (8) has not won since the turn of the year but he will have progressed for his re-entry run and, with application, will be expected to figure prominently.

C9 – PRIX DE L’ECOLE MILITAIRE – 2150m (a1m1/4) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 40,000 - MISTHOS CHRISTAL – Reassuring winner at Bernay in early-May, beating MISTRAL JENILOU (13), before running 4th in a 2100m Vincennes Class D on 6 June. Forced to start on the rail but still looks a player
- MARCHAND DE REVE – As capricious as they come but has evident ability. Entrusted to Benjamin Rochard for the first time and will have a prominent part to play if kept trotting
- MIKA DE LA VALLEE – Would have finished close at Vincennes last month had he been afforded a run. Thrives with his driver who will be determined to set the record straight. Claim
- MEYDAN VOIRONS – Put his Argentan elimination behind him to win a Class E under these conditions on 23 May. Comes here fresh and from the 4 slot will be dangerous. Chance
- MURPHY DU PONCELET – Produced at 92-1 surprise when 2nd in a Vincennes Class D on 9 June. Has been handed a good draw but a repeat seems improbable
- MARCUS BERRY – Took a few runs to come good this term but ran 3rd in a Class D over course and distance 11 days ago. Takes on a better lot this time though and is not a priority
- MILLIUM QUESNOT – Very disappointing so far this season. Is competitively-shod for the first time but still has too much to do
- MINUS DE CHENU – Was unable to confirm late-May performance when eliminated in a Vincennes Class D 3 weeks ago. Has form with his driver but others still easier to back
- MOJITO DE BANVILLE – Did not enjoy the best of trips when last of 5 in a monte Class D here last Monday. Is never far from faulting and even though having placed under harness at Vincennes in the spring, is not an obvious choice
- MALDRIC D’ECHAL – Below-par this term, latterly well-beaten here 11 days ago, and has nothing to contribute
- MAESTRO LOVE – Has not been seen out since winning a 2875m Class D here last October. Will not be pushed on his comeback but will be no shrinking violet either
- MISTER YELLOW – Capable on a good day but was not the most convincing on comeback at La Capelle a fortnight back and will need another outing
- MISTRAL JENILOU – Goes left-handed for the first time after having dominated an Ecommoy Class E in late-May. Faces first real target of the season and even from the back line is unlikely to disappoint
Summary: Quite plainly at the top of his game, MIKA DE LA VALLEE (3) was most unlucky across town a month back. Seldom disappointing with Eric Raffin in the bike, he is well-positioned behind the car and can win this if kept out of trouble. MEYDAN VOIRONS (4) was thoroughly professional here last time out, enjoys a better draw on this occasion, and looks the principal threat. Eliminated in 5 straight after having won well at Vincennes in February, it is just a question of time before MARCHAND DE REVE (2) gets his nose back in front. MISTRAL JENILOU (13) has pulled a less-favourable number but has returned to competition in cracking form and will be no pushover if he turns.

- AVEC TOI – Won easily on debut at Saint-Cloud over 1400m in a newcomers race on June 2. Looks like a smart prospect and can follow up with improvement expected
- ALGEBRE – Won narrowly on his debut over 1400m at Saint-Cloud on June 12 in a Class 3 race. Open to making progress and rates a threat
- QUEEN OF THE DAY – She stayed on strongly to get up close home and score on her debut over 1400m in a conditions race at Saint-Cloud on June 2. The form has been franked by the runner-up, who has won since. Leading contender.
- MARGARET’S PEARL – Two unplaced runs of late in Listed races, the most recent over 1200m at Newmarket (UK) on June 25. Unlikely to trouble the main contenders
- AZAMRA – Two wins form only three starts, the latest success over 1200m at Marseille Borely in a Class 3 race on June 12. In the mix
Summary: AVEC TOI (1) looked a smart prospect when winning by four lengths on his debut in a newcomers race at Saint-Cloud early last month. The runner-up has since franked the form with a subsequent victory, and he is taken to follow up. The main threat could come from QUEEN OF THE DAY (3), who showed plenty of greenness on debut but stayed on strongly to score close home at Saint-Cloud on June 2. The runner-up from that race has also won since. ALGEBRE (2) was another debut winner and is open to further improvement.

- BLUE OCEAN DREAM – Finished 2nd last time over 1800m at Compiegne in a Class 4 race on June 13. He lacks consistency and can be opposed
- MOON RIDER – Out of form with three unplaced runs of late, well beaten at Chantilly in a Class 3 handicap on June 24 over 1600m last time out. Others rate higher
- GRAND ANGEL – Three tame efforts of late, the latter over 2500m at Argentan in a Class 4 handicap on June 10. Not reliable and can be opposed
- LUCERO – Two unplaced runs since a win over this track and trip in a Class 4 handicap on April 7. Stall 15 is not a positive

- ANTICO – Ran a better race to be 4th on his last run over 1600 at Chantilly in a Class 3 handicap on June 24. Outside place chance
- J’AURAIS DU – Good run to be 2nd last time over 2000m at Compiegne in a Class 3 handicap on June 13. Ought to be in the shake-up
- KELBOFRER – Placed on both runs this year, 4th on the latter over 1700m at La-Roche-Sur-Yon on June 6 in a Class 4 race. Hard to fancy
- CHUBASCO – Five unplaced runs since a win over 1900m in a Class 3 handicap at this track on December 30. Well drawn and can be involved having dropped in the handicap
- INMATE – Finished 5th last time over 1800m at Dieppe in a Class 4 handicap on June 23. He might find this challenging
- COCO LIGHT – Two good runs of late on turf, a win on the most recent over 2500m at Argentan in a Class 4 handicap on June 10. Seems better suited to racing on grass
- DETESNOUVELLES – Fair 5th last time over 1800m at Chantilly in a Class 3 handicap on June 19. One to pay close attention to
Summary: COMTE NOIR (1) has been running well all year with a win and several placed efforts. He likes this surface and can score despite top-weight. NEUSCHWANSTEIN (3) could be the main threat to the selection after a decent fourth over this track and trip 8 days ago in a Class 3 handicap. CHUBASCO (12) has been eased in the weights since a track and trip success in December and warrants respect. J’AURAIS DU (10) was a decent second last time at Compiegne and is also worth considering.

- RIYABOVKA – Finished 7th last time in a Group 3 in early May at Saint-Cloud and a 2nd before that in The Balanchine Stakes (Gr.2) at Meydan (UAE) on February 20 when narrowly beaten over 1800m. Hard to discount
- GAGA GIRL – Ran better than her finishing position at Ascot (UK) in a Class 2 handicap over 1600m on June 17, when she met trouble in running and could not recover from being hampered. She can make amends
- MISS OF CHANGE – Finished 6th on the last run in a Group 3 race in Milan (ITA) on June 7 over 2000m. Unlikely to trouble the main protagonists
Summary: GAGA GIRL (5) endured significant interference in a strong Class 2 handicap at Royal Ascot (UK) in mid-June when still holding every chance. The smaller field should suit her much better, and she is taken to return to winning ways. BRECKENBROUGH (2) produced a creditable effort in a Group 3 at Epsom (UK) last time and looks the principal danger. RIYABOVKA (4) has solid Pattern-race form, including a runner-up finish in a Group 2 at Meydan (UAE) over in February, and is another with strong claims.

Summary: DRAZINDA (2) can bounce back after a reasonable effort in the Queen Mary Stakes (Gr.2) at Ascot in mid-June on her second start, having won on debut. She is marginally preferred ahead of CROWNBREAKER (3), who was around two lengths ahead of the selection at Ascot, but was better drawn that day. SAY SQUIRREL (6) ran well in a Listed race at Vichy when second in May and can not be discounted. BLEACH (7) is another to keep safe after a win on debut at Chantilly in June.

NO TUNE (9) wasn’t far behind a top pick last time out and they meet on exactly the same weight terms so there shouldn’t be much to choose between them. - LINDSEY DE NICE – Not reliable and was disqualified last time out at Jullianges over 2425m on 21 June. Tries a lot shorter and others are preferred
Summary: L’ETINCELLE (6) has never finished worse than third when racing barefoot and could well return to winning ways. However, she will need to be wary of LOUNA D’AUVILLIER (7), who made a striking impression at Hyères, and LADY D’ELFE (9), partnered by Jean-Michel Bazire for the occasion. LAZIZA JASMA (4) has recently changed stables and has been handed a good draw behind the car. If all goes well, she can also get involved with the finish.

Summary: A very tricky lucky last race. KILLER DE MILLAC (5) showed promise in the spring and now benefits with a good draw behind the car.
