KLASSICA BLEUE – Eliminated in 3 of last 6 starts but has excelled on the other 3 occasions. Takes on some good horses here but can pick up a cheque if Alexandre Abrivard manages to keep her mind on the game
JACK L’EVENTREUR – Finished 6th in a Class A at Auch over 2,800m on 17 August, a fortnight after having won a Class E over 2725m here. Is barefoot this time but can expect to find the going somewhat tougher
KASSYA – Has been very hard to knock recently, latterly runner-up in a Class E over course and distance on 24 July, and in similar form can confirm
KOVES DU PONT – Made short work of a Class F at St Jean De Monts over 2,625m on 9 August. Has arguably never been better and can bring the fight to KASSYA (4)
KERALDO – Showed marked improvement on comeback at Ostend 3.5 weeks ago. Is barefoot for return to France but is still not an obvious choice
JAMAIS – Put disqualification at Agon behind him when comfortably winning a Class F at Meslay-du-Maine mid-month. Goes barefoot again and makes his Cabourg bow with a decent chance of making first five
KORONA DELADOU – Finished 4th in a Class D at Vichy over 2,950m on 1 August 2026. Has not imposed since January, and is unlikely to this time either, but can still finish in the mix
KENTUCKY FIRST – Won a monte Class E at Enghien over 2,250m on 13 August 2026, on just his second start following the break. Is only here for a change of scenery and can be passed over
JAVA DES CAILLONS – Showed improvement when 3rd in a Class D at Vichy over 2,950m on 1 August. Has been fitted with 4 pads for the first time and, 3 times a winner in 4 Cabourg starts, must be considered a serious player
HUDSON BAIE – Moderate mare that has done nothing of note since running 4th at Pornichet last month and returns to the harness code with nothing to offer
FIRST LADY BLEUE – Has done nothing of note for over 2 years and quite simply has nothing to bring to the party
Summary: KASSYA (4) finished strongly in a feature race under these conditions late last month and could well battle it out with KOVES DU PONT (5), who has been simply superb for the past three months. Sporting 4 pads this time, JAVA DES CAILLONS (10) showed plenty of tenacity to hold off KORONA DELADOU (8) at Vichy, who has also been subsequently reconfigured, and the pair have their chances for the places.

LOVELY GODIVA – Unplaced in all 3 starts since returning to competition but will be barefoot this time and is worth keeping an eye on
LADY FAIRY – Finished 3rd in a Class E over 2,725m here on 7 August 2026. Sports the same configuration and must be taken more seriously this time around
LIPTON LATAL – Has had an interrupted career and is behind in earnings, lastly 4th in an Avranches Class F 3.5 weeks ago. Has pleased since moving yards and is unlikely to let the side down. Place chance
LOVELY JIM – Ran 6th in a Class D at Villereal over 2,450m on 8 August 2026, on just 2nd start back. Benefits from a terrific entry and the engagement of Benjamin Rochard will only work to her advantage
LAISSEZ FAIRE – Has not raced since finishing 4th in a Class D at Enghien over 2,875m on 27 June. Is still being prepared and is not a concern
LILOU D’ATOUT – Starts for the first time since finishing unplaced in a monte Group II at Vincennes over 2,700m on 29 May. Is here for reasons of conditioning and can be passed over
LAMIE DU MESNIL – Was put away after running 7th in a Class C at Vincennes over 2,700m on 24 April. Stays shod for comeback and will have nothing to contribute
LATINO BEJI – Sent for a break after securing a Class F at Toulouse over 2,950m on 10 April. Is shod for re-entry and will have nothing to give

LEXCELLENT DU METZ – Winner in first 2 starts for new trainer before losing his action here on 31 July. Is reunited with Yoann Lebourgeois who is unbeaten with him, and will be well-backed to win this
LINNA DE VANDEL – Made amends for three straight eliminations when runner-up in a Class C at Enghien over 2,150m on 25 July 2026. Has never failed to deliver racing right-handed and is unlikely to start now. Chance
Summary: LEXCELLENT DU METZ (12) has a golden opportunity to make amends for losing his action here late last month. Reassuring at Enghien a month back, LINNA DE VANDEL (13) looks best placed to give him a hard time. LOVELY JIM (6) has two runs under her belt and, capable of improvement, merits close attention from the front row. The same applies to LIPTON LATAL (5), who debuts at the venue under good conditions and must be taken seriously.

LADY DE RICO – Ran 6th in a Class F under these conditions on 4 August 2026. Has been freshly re-shod and even with Paul Ploquin reining is not a player
MACAME DU CAUX – Returns to a volte start after coming 8th in a 2725m Class E here 2 weeks ago. Is never the easiest to gauge but has bags of ability and, with application, can finish in the mix
LEAMOA – Has picked up after the spell where she left off in May. Is barefoot this time but is not about to influence the result
MOON SAINT ANDRE – Finished 5th in a Class E at Enghien over 2,150m on 10 August 2026. Has not enjoyed the best of luck in latest runs but will be no easy touch if kept out of harm’s way. Chance
LADY MYSTIC – Sports a new configuration following 3 consecutive disqualifications, most recently a Class F at Les Sables-d’Olonne in mid-July. Has never delivered at Cabourg but comes here fresh and the engagement of Alexandre Abrivard will do her chances no harm
MIA STEJELO – Finished 7th in a Class E at La Capelle over 2,700m on 14 June 2026. Has not been seen out since and with shoes fitted will have nothing to offer
MELODIE DE OUF – Unplaced in a Class E at Rochefort Sur Loire over 3,000m on 16 August, after having imposed at Montignac late last month. Is new to Cabourg but is nicely-entered, barefoot, and in with a realistic chance of challenging for a place on the podium
LOZANA HOLLANDIA – Eliminated in last 3, including over course and distance, after having won 2 straight in the spring. Benjamin Rochard gets a second chance and will be keen to put things right. Attention
MANDRAGORA FLEURY – Returns to a hard surface after going close in 3 straight on turf. Is patently close to opening her 2026 account and will be justifiably well-supported. Claim
MI FA SOL – Starts for the first time since running second in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,700m on 12 June. Has nothing going for her here and is not a concern
Summary: MANDRAGORA FLEURY (13) has to give away 25m but has some strong form to her name and could well rise to the occasion. Consistent for the most part, a barefoot MOON SAINT ANDRE (8) offers solid guarantees. The same cannot be said of the capricious but capable LOZANA HOLLANDIA (12) who is, however, competitively-engaged. It will be all or nothing with her. MELODIE DE OUF (11) is significantly better than her latest result would imply and can be backed with confidence.

JUSSIEU PIYA – Surprise winner at Berck-sur-Mer earlier in the month but was trounced at Plouescat a week ago and is not a concern
KAISER LATAL – Withdrawn from a monte race on turf mid-month, on his first start for almost 2 months. Has form at the venue and the front-line start will do his prospects no disservice
JUILLET – Ran reassuring 2nd in a Class H at Le Sap on 9 August. Tends to show more at a lower level though and is not a contender
KINBALL – Has shown a different side since moving yards in April. Ran 4th in a Redon Class H mid-month and, from the first line, should again figure prominently
KEIGHT BLESS – Comfortable winner a Class G at Chatelaillon over 2,625m on 3 August 2026, making it 2 in a row. Is plainly in rude health and from the front row will be expected to secure the hat-trick
KADEO JOSSELYN – 6th in a Saint-Malo Class F 2.5 weeks ago but at this level has no possible chance
KASHKAI – In the frame in 3 of last 4, most recently 2nd in a 2600m Class F at Berck-sur-Mer mid-month. Mathieu Mottier in the bike this time and must be respected
KOLMI DES EPINES – Ran 5th over course and distance 3 weeks ago before being conditioned under the saddle on turf 8 days later. Benefits from a good entry on the front row and will have his supporters
KIRWAN THORIS – Has looked very ordinary for some time, lastly 7th in an Argentan Class F on 16 August, and will have nothing to offer
JAZZMAN BLUES – Enjoys a superb entry at just 60 Euros from being penalised, but recent numbers do nothing to inspire confidence
KENOR DESBOIS – Won a Class D Quinte over course and distance on 24 July. Eliminated in both since but Franck Terry has chosen a new configuration which could make all the difference
KERLAZ D’AVE – Has not been seen out since finishing unplaced in a Class D Apprentices’ race at Le Mont St Michel over 2,600m on 30 June. Shoes fitted and poses no danger
JOKER DU MATCH – Useful on a good day but has struggled over recent weeks, 3 times failing to make any impact here, and will first need to re-establish his credentials
KAPORAL CARISAIE – Already 5 times a winner this year. Reassuring 3rd in a Redon Class H a fortnight back, enjoys an excellent entry, and Theo Raffin can be justifiably confident of a big run
Summary: KEIGHT BLESS (7), did not had to exert himself to win his last two starts and is a cut above the field. As long as he stays trotting, the race is his for the asking. Principal opposition comes from a freshly-reconfigured KENOR DESBOIS (13), and KAPORAL CARISAIE (16), both capable of giving away 25m despite strong opposition on the front line. KINBALL (6), partnered by Yoann Lebourgeois for the occasion, and KAISER LATAL (4), whose recent blip can be ignored, are leading candidates for the places.

MOA D’OCCAGNES – Got back in the winners’ circle at Brehal 3.5 weeks ago when landing a 2325m Class F. Takes on a better bunch this time and others preferred
MIRACULOUS DANOVER – As solid as a rock in 3 of last 4, lastly 2nd in a Chateauroux Class F last Sunday, however in this category has no realistic chance
MEKONG – Finished 3rd in a Class E over 2,050m here on 7 August 2026. Goes barefoot again and is unlikely to be far off the mark
MISTER MARTIN – Finished 6th in a Class E over 2,050m here on 7 August, 3 weeks after imposing at Amiens, but will have little to contribute this time
MINIMUM – Finished 5th in a Class E under these conditions on 28 July 2026. Is better than the result would suggest and is capable of contesting the finish this time
MATCH LOVE – Well-beaten here in late-July before coming 5th in a Francheville Class F 2 weeks ago and can expect to find the going a bit too tough
MERCATO MESLOIS – Never far from losing his action but ran good 2nd, on re-entry, in a Class F at Agon-Coutainville 3 weeks ago. Will be shod as he was at Caen earlier in the year and, if applied, can figure prominently
MANHATTAN PIYA – Complicated but talented sort that lost his action on comeback in mid-July in a Lisieux Class E. Will have come on for the race though and will not be far from the action if Alexandre Abrivard keeps him trotting
MAX MESLOIS – Finished 4th in a Class E over course and distance on 28 July 2026. Has been knocking at the door for some time and it is just a question of when, not if, he gets off the mark
MEAULNES DU BRAY – Has been in cracking form since the spring, lastly 2nd in a Brehal Class E 2.5 weeks ago and, considering the engagement, is easy to fancy for the win
Summary: There is no shortage of possibilities in this competitive field. MEAULNES DU BRAY (15), who looks close to winning at this level, is expected to do battle with MAX MESLOIS (14) who is still chasing that elusive first win. Much sharper since beginning to race barefoot, MINIMUM (10) must be considered a priority. MANHATTAN PIYA (13) made an unsuccessful re-entry but returns to racing shod and deserves another chance.

LAGON D’ORIENT – Should not be too quickly-judged for losing his action in a Class F over course and distance on 10 July. Comes here fresh and with Guillaume Martin in the irons could start seeing a change in fortunes
LORD OF WIND – Ran 3rd under these conditions for Antonin Andre on 10 July prior to being disqualified here 3 weeks ago. Sports a fresh formula and is not incapable of imposing
L’APPASSIONATO – A handful in both codes recently, disqualified in last 3. Is not the most generous of trotters and is unlikely to create an upset
LATINO CASTELETS – Debuts in the discipline after running 5th in a harness Class F over 2050m here 2 weeks ago, and with Benjamin Rochard reining will be afforded every chance
LARGO D’ENFER – Has yet to win under the saddle and most recently prepped under harness at Vibraye. Is confirmed at the venue and has a reasonable chance of making first five
LABORANTIN – Well-beaten on monte debut at Mauquenchy on 23 July, then eliminated in a harness prep at Brehal 2.5 weeks ago, and has no possible chance
LATINO DES ISLES – Winner of last 2 ridden starts, most recently a Sainte-Marie-du-Mont Class F on 2 August. Would normally be preferred with front pads fitted but on this occasion can defy the odds and secure the monte hat-trick
Summary: LATINO DES ISLES (14) has won his last two starts in this discipline and is ideally-entered; he races shod this time but still looks a formidable proposition. Sporting modified shoeing, and third with his jockey in July, LORD OF WIND (9), will be looking to make up for faulting here 3 weeks ago. Reliably-performant under the saddle, LOVIOU JOSSELYN (7) is a podium contender, as is a barefoot LATINO CASTELETS (11), who merits attention on his debut in the discipline.

NYX DE LA HAIE – Tricky character making first start since being eliminated in a monte Class B at Vincennes over 2,700m on 16 June. Is clearly in conditioning-mode and best to wait
NACOMA RUN – Second in a Class D at Saint Malo over 2,950m on 5 August, a month after having run 2nd in a 2050m Class E here, and is easy to recommend for a spot in the picture
NORMA DU VIVIER – Commanding winner of a Class E over course and distance on 4 August 2026. Improves with every run and looks thoroughly capable of pulling off the three-timer
NEVEE – Like a horse reborn over the past month, most recently winning a 2600m Class E at Divonne-les-Bains a week ago, and looks the main threat to NORMA DU VIVIER (6)
NUIT DE STAR – Runner-up in a Class D at Pornichet over 2,725m on 23 July, 9 days after having run 2nd in a Class E over course and distance. Will be reunited with Paul Ploquin and cannot be ruled out
NOTRE GITANE – Fourth in a Class C over track and trip on 28 July, after having imposed at Bernay and Caen. Is not about to get her nose in front but can still hold her own. First 5
NUSCH NOVA – Ran 6th in a Class C at Laval over 2,225m on 19 August 2026. Seldom disappoints when sporting pads and, nicely-entered, will generate interest
NATIVE DE PLAY – Finished 3rd in a Class C under these conditions on 28 July. Is unlikely to lose her maiden status but can still finish close
Summary: NORMA DU VIVIER (6) won with ease under these conditions earlier in the month and can successfully step up in category. Yoann Lebourgeois will nevertheless be keeping an eye on NEVEE (7) who, herself, excelled at Divonne last week. NATIVE DE PLAY (11) has competed in some well-composed fields recently and, nicely-engaged here, has a chance of making the podium, as does NACOMA RUN (5), who will not have the colts to deal with this time.

MALICE LUDOISE – Authoritative winner of a 3100m Chinon harness Class H 2 weeks ago. Has demonstrated solid monte potential and although unlikely to impose, can nevertheless contest a place in the picture
MADO D’AVRIL – Delicate but has shown significant promise, latterly beaten only by a very good horse in a Class F under these conditions 2.5 weeks ago, and on good behaviour can give MISS D’ARSA (9) a run for her money
MISS D’ARSA – Took little time getting back to winning ways, most recently securing a Brehal Class F on 3 August. Alexandre Abrivard in the saddle this time and will be expected to confirm
MAGIC NONNA – Complicated filly that stormed up under harness at Carentan in late-July prior to losing her action 3 weeks later. May find herself more at ease under the saddle though and could pleasantly surprise
MA BELLE ASSCHADEL – 4th in good company over course and distance on 21 July, but was eliminated at Lisieux 11 days ago. Antoine Voisin knows her well and cannot be discounted
MONETA – Has yet to excel in the discipline but has previously run 4th under these conditions and a barefoot return to the code may be just what the doctor ordered

Summary: MISS D’ARSA (9) won with plenty in hand last time and can follow up, although she will have to keep an eye on a barefoot MADO D’AVRIL (8) who ran an encouraging second here a fortnight ago. Summary: NATIVE RULER (4) is a flat winner who arrives after a recent win at Nancy in a claimer in early June over 2000m. He will be well schooled for this hurdles bow and is given the nod over VACQUERA (11), who ran well on the flat and jumped well enough on her hurdling debut when fifth at Dieppe earlier this month. IKORIKA (10) is another to consider after a seventh on debut at Dieppe on August 7. PREMIER CHANT (3) makes up the shortlist.

Summary: SWEEPER CHOP (2) seemed to be suited to a return to hurdles at Le Lion D’Angers on his latest start 15 days ago when scoring by eight lengths. He can be too smart for L’OREE DES BLAISES (8), who is better than recent form figures and can not be overlooked. JALWAY (5) can be forgiven for the latest run and is best judged on his second at Erbray in July in a claiming hurdle. IRUN LORD (4) completes the shortlist.

MUSIQUE ROYALE – Well held on the one run over 2400m at Le Lion D’Angers on July 24 on the flat in a conditions race. Tries hurdles for the first time and others are preferred
MA JOLIE SARAH – Finished 2nd on the latest start over 2900m at Durtal in a conditions race on December 14. Hurdles debut and is best watched for now
Summary: MON BONHEUR (1) has been threatening to win with four placed efforts this year. He has been found a good opening by connections and can get off the mark at the expense of MIRAGE DES OBEAUX (2), who did well to be third at Cholet in a Class 3 hurdle on his latest run in late June. MYSTERE DES BEAUX (3) has shown promise on the flat and has the scope to do well over hurdles. MYWORK (4) has won his last two races over fences and a hat-trick is not out of the question on his return to hurdles.
