R1 LA CAPELLE [L-H]

C1 – PRIX DU CREDIT AGRICOLE NORD-EST – 2700m (a1m1/2) – – Harness – EUR € 35,000

  1. IOUPY TOLLEVILLE – Moderate element that has twice failed to confirm his Pornichet performance and is unlikely to spice things up
  2. ILIO MANNETOT – Ran 6th in a monte Class D at Laval over 2,850m on 19 August 2026. Is not the worst horse here but under these conditions is unlikely to spring any surprises
  3. HERMES D’ECROVILLE – Very disappointing over recent weeks, most recently trounced in a Vincennes Class C 9 days ago, and can be confidently ruled out
  4. HORIZON D’EYMY – Finished 8th in a Class D at Enghien over 2,150m on 12 August 2026. Is better than her recent performance would suggest and the draw will do his prospects no disservice
  5. IDYLLE DU PERSIL – Won an Amiens Class D at 47-1 in late-July, 2 weeks before losing his action in an Enghien Class D. Is barefoot again but others easier to trust
  6. JALIMEDE – Ran 3rd in an Enghien Class C in late-July, a fortnight before faulting in a Class D at the same venue. Is clearly in fine shape though and on good behaviour can play a leading role
  7. IDREAMIS – Has been at the top of her game since June, most recently dominating a Cagnes Class C early last month, and looks competitive once more
  8. JUST DU CHATELET – Ran 7th in a Class B at Enghien over 2,875m on 6 August, his return from a spell. Has buckets of talent but would be preferred barefoot
  9. RUGER – Made it 3 from 4 when authoritatively winning a Cabourg Class E on 14 August. The draw should not pose a problem and is thoroughly capable of making it 3 in a row
  10. COMES WITH AGE – Finished 3rd in a Class E at Enghien over 2,150m on 6 August 2026. Has not got his nose in front for some time, but consistently gives his best and is unlikely to be far off the mark
  11. JUNON DE LOU – Versatile trotter that should not be too hastily-judged for losing her action in a Class B at Divonne-les-Bains 3.5 weeks ago. Went close on sole start under these conditions and will have her supporters
  12. ILLICO DE BOUTEAU – Ran 6th in a Class D at Laval over 2,850m on 19 August 2026, 11 days after having secured a Class D at Les Sables-d’Olonne. In this company though will struggle to make his mark
  13. JOS MAZA – Starts for the first time since running 3rd over 2100m in Victoria Park almost 2 months ago, but is clearly in race-mode and can finish in the mix
  14. RED HOT ROADSTER – In the frame in 3 of last 4, lastly runner-up in a Cabourg Class E on 14 August, and is easy to fancy for a first-five payout
    Summary: RUGER (9) has already won three times since the beginning of the summer; he is behind in earnings and gets on well with Florian Desmigneux. Quickly eliminated at Enghien, JALIMEDE (6) returns to the venue of his latest victory and will lead the opposition alongside IDREAMIS (7), in excellent form, and the consistent COMES WITH AGE (10). RED HOT ROADSTER (14) finished strongly behind the Swedish horse at Cabourg last time and can pick up a cheque.

  15. JUDICIEUSE ZAILER – Takes on a less-exalted bunch after running 5th in a 2100m Vincennes amateurs Class F on 22 August. Starts on the rail but pleased on sole start at the venue and cannot be discounted
  16. GREAT GATSBY – Produced a pair of good efforts before coming 8th in an Abbeville amateurs Class H 2.5 weeks ago. Is no priority but can still play a small part
  17. IBLISS MAYBE – Was not disgraced when 6th in an amateurs Class F at Vincennes on 22 August. Already twice a winner this summer and from the 3 slot can add another to his tally
  18. JOUR DES RACQUES – Debuts in the amateur division after running 5th in a 2750m Class E here last week. Starts in front and although not a contender, will still generate some interest
  19. JOG DE JAVIE – Takes to the amateur division for the first time following a disappointing claiming performance at Vincennes 11 days ago. Is well-positioned in front and with a talented driver at the helm can play a leading role
  20. GYPSIE MAGIQUE – Won 2 of her last 3 barefoot starts, most recently a Class G Amateurs’ race at Chateaubriant over 2,300m on 7 August. Is arguably better racing clockwise but in current shape is hard to ignore. Chance
  21. IDUNN – Made up for Divonne disqualification when 2nd in a Vittel amateurs Class H last Sunday. Starts wide, but in front, and despite taking on a superior lot this time, can hold her own
  22. HECTOR DE CORDAY – Left a good impression when 5th in a 2750m amateurs Class G here last week. Is never easy to gauge but has form at the venue and, in spite of a wide draw, will sport 4 pads for the first time and can finish in the mix
  23. IDEAL LOVER – Ran 6th in a Class F at Strasbourg over 2,800m on 27 August 2026. Returns to the category in which he has 3 times come close this summer and despite the draw must be taken seriously
  24. IT’S ME DIESCHOOT – Disappointing 7th in a Vittel amateurs Class H last Sunday. Has otherwise been in fine shape but others still preferred
  25. HEAVEN JIEL – Sprang a 22-1 surprise when imposing over 2300m in Mons 3 weeks ago. Has pulled a tough number and chances appear limited
  26. IMMATERIEL D’AM – Erratic sort that has completely disappointed in last 2 and will need to get his house in order
  27. JEAN JOSEPH – Modest trotter that has categorically failed to make any impression this term and can be confidently ruled out
    Summary: There is little to choose between IBLISS MAYBE (3), who imposed here on 7 July, GYPSIE MAGIQUE (6), who recently returned to victorious ways, JOG DE JAVIE (5), who makes his amateur debut with Barbara Guenet reining, and IDEAL LOVER (9), who was arguably scuppered by his own tactics at Strasbourg last week.

  28. JINGLE DU PONT – Finished 3rd in a 1609m Group II at Argentan on 8 August 2026, his first start for 2 months. has not put a foot wrong since May and is not about to start now. Place chance
  29. JILORD VIVA – Third in a Class B at Enghien over 2,875m on 6 August 2026, after having run 3rd in a Vichy Gr.2 in late-June. Is barefoot this time but seems to be taking on too much
  30. INEXESS BLEU – Impressive winner of a Group II at Enghien over 2,875m on 25 July 2026. Goes over any trip and should prove main danger to IDAO DE TILLARD (4)
  31. IDAO DE TILLARD – Secured a third straight Gr.2 when easily winning the 1609m Critérium de Vitesse de Basse-Normandie at Argentan on 8 August. Won this in 2024, benefits from a terrific draw, and will be well-backed to impose again
  32. IGREC DE CELLAND – Victorious in a Group III at Grenade-Sur-Garonne over 2,700m on 15 August 2026. Consistently gives his best but is out of his depth this time
  33. FALCO KILLER GAR – Quality element that ran 2nd in last year’s addition. Most recently ran 5th in Gr.2 Critérium de Vitesse de Basse-Normandie at Argentan early last month and can compete for minor honours
  34. INMAROSA – Fourth in a Group II at Argentan over 1,609m on 8 August 2026. Is as versatile as they come and a similar performance would see her challenge for a place in the frame
  35. HULYSSE DIGEO – Third in a Class D at Laval over 2,850m on 23 August 2026 when preparing for this. Won this race 12 months ago and even though drawn wide still looks a player
  36. RIKITA JP – Serious mare with form at this level but was eliminated in Argentan race of reference and, with pads fitted this time, will pose little danger
    Summary: The clash between IDAO DE TILLARD (4), who is plainly back at the top of his game, and recent Gr.2 winner INEXESS BLEU (3), who had this race in his grasp last year only to lose his action, promises to be fascinating. JINGLE DU PONT (1), excellent at Argentan, and defending champion HULYSSE DIGEO (8), can fight it out for the third step on the podium.

  37. NOUVELLE AVENTURE – Finished 6th on re-entry in a 2750m Class E here on 25 August 2026 and is patently taking on too much
  38. NINA D’EOL – Moderate filly that was eliminated on comeback in a 2700m Class E here last week. Clearly has ability but in this field will need to find more
  39. NATIVITY QUICK – Finished 5th in a Class C at Vincennes over 2,700m on 5 May 2026. Tends to show more in a lesser category and will have few friends
  40. NOUCHKA ROYALE – Finished 9th in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,700m on 26 August 2026, her first start following a layup, and would be preferred at a lower level
  41. NUIT D’IVRESSE JAF – Ran 6th in a Class D at Enghien over 2,150m on 13 August 2026. Is not the most courageous of fillies and looks a minor place chance at best
  42. NEBRASKA MELOC – Has not once finished out of first three in 5 career starts, lastly 2nd in a Class E at Divonne over 2,600m on 21 August 2026. Takes a notable step up in category though and may be biting off more than he can chew
  43. NAPOLEON DE GAGOU – Won a Class F over course and distance on 24 May, then came 2nd in a Class D under similar conditions the following month. Comes here fresh and the front-row start bodes well for his chances
  44. NENIGMA – Fourth in a Class D at Enghien over 2,150m on 13 August 2026, on first start since her layoff. Will have come on for the run, has previously won under these conditions, and is not to be underestimated
  45. NABUCCO BLUES – Unplaced in a Class C at Cabourg over 2,750m on 11 August 2026, when being conditioned for this. Has ample ability, is competitively-shod for the first time, and even from the second line should give this a good go
  46. NIKO DE TIMBOEUF – Quality element that ran 6th on re-entry in a Pornichet Class B 3 weeks ago. Will have improved for the run and, with pads fitted this time, is unlikely to let the side down. First five
  47. NANTUS D’AVIGNERE – Fifth in a Class A at Vincennes over 2,700m on 24 August 2026. Takes a dip in category, is plainly close to his race, and should be able to wrap this up
  48. NINO DE LARRE – Finished 4th in a Class B at Enghien over 2,875m on 8 August 2026, a week after having run 2nd in a Class C at the same venue. Has not got his nose in front since February but was most impressive last time out and looks a serious proposition
    Summary: NANTUS D’AVIGNERE (11), who deserves to see his efforts pay off, and NINO DE LARRE (12), who was not the luckiest at Enghien, give 25m to NAPOLEON DE GAGOU (7), partnered by Alexandre Abrivard for his return to competition, and NENIGMA (8), ideally-entered on the front row.

  49. MERCENARY – Made short work of a Laval Class F on monte debut in early-July. Has been kept on the boil under harness, is reunited with Estelle Croisic who won with him at Laval, and looks main threat to DAMISELA (5)
  50. DEVIL OP – In the frame in 6 of 7 before being eliminated in an Abbeville Class F 3.5 weeks ago. Will appreciate returning to a hard surface and can give this a good go
  51. JONQUILLETE CREPIN – Has ability but eliminated in last two ridden starts, most recently a Mansle Class F 2.5 weeks ago, and others easier to trust
  52. MERCEDES STAR – Returns to a code he appreciates after convincingly securing a harness Class F at Enghien over 2,150m on 22 July 2026. Is not about to get his nose in front but warrants respect all the same
  53. DAMISELA – Debuts for new yard after being disqualified in a Class F at Châtelaillon-La Rochelle a month back. Is plainly at the top of his game and can put things right if kept out of harm’s way
  54. IQUITA VILI – Finished 7th in a Class D at Laval over 2,850m on 28 August 2026. Showed her form at Enghien 3 weeks earlier and Alan Gendrot will be keen to put things right
  55. CAMERON – Finished 7th in a harness Class E at Arras over 2,900m on 2 August 2026, 5 days after coming 5th in a Meslay-du-Maine Class E. Is not a priority but is still worth monitoring
  56. INFIEL – Has placed just once in 5 monte starts. Has been a write-off under harness for some time and has no realistic chance
  57. HATE YOU BEYLEV – Unremarkable element back under the saddle after 2 straight harness disqualifications and appears to have nothing to contribute
    Summary: DAMISELA (5) was fighting for second when disqualified early last month but can set the record straight for her new connections. IQUITA VILI (6), from whom more was expected at Laval, MERCENARY (1), recent winner of his monte debut, and DEVIL OP (2), who deserves to be rewarded with victory one of these days, are also capable of playing a leading role.

  59. LOCKI DU FER – Has not been seen out since running 7th in a Class D at Le Croise-Laroche over 2,700m on 20 May 2026. Imposed here on penultimate start and from the 2 slot must be afforded respect
  60. MOSCANTIDA PEAL – In the frame in 3 of last 4, most recently 3rd in a Vincennes claimer, but races shod this time and will have other priorities
  61. MANHATTAN JIEL – Has not been seen out since faulting in a Class B at Vincennes over 2,175m on 15 February 2026. Is shod for comeback and can be passed over
  62. LILY ROSE MYSTIC – Has just the one race under her belt since the break. Would be preferred barefoot but has pulled a good number and will have her supporters
  63. LINDSTEDT – Failed to confirm Divonne effort when eliminated at Cagnes a fortnight ago and is unlikely to create an upset
  64. LESTER DU CHERISAY – Not the easiest of horses to use and was unplaced here last week, but seldom disappoints when focused and must be considered dangerous
  65. MUSE DE MONTCEAU – In the frame in last 3, most recently 3rd in a Class D at Enghien over 2,150m on 29 July 2026. Confirmed here in June and is easy to like for a place in first five
  66. MARCUS BERRY – Finished 3rd in a Class D at Enghien over 2,875m on 12 August 2026. Has been knocking at the door over recent weeks and can bring the fight to MAESTRO VET (15)
  67. LIO RENKA – Unplaced in a Class E at Nantes over 2,275m on 1 June 2026. Sports a new configuration but is still not a concern
  68. LABRAX DU SKY – Serious trotter starting for the first time since February. Is preparing for a campaign under the saddle and can be ruled out
  69. LUC PAASLOO – Reassured at Duindigt in late-July before being disqualified in a Class F at Le Touquet on 22 August, and will have little to offer
  70. MY BLACK CADENCE – Ran 6th in a monte Class B at Vincennes over 2,175m on 24 January 2026 and will have other plans
  71. LENNY DU PONT – Ran 6th here in late-July but was eliminated in Paris 11 days ago and has little going for him
  72. MAESTRO VET – Ran 2nd over 2750m here in July, then comfortably won a Class E at Enghien over 2,875m on 10 August 2026. Is not ideally-drawn but it makes little difference over 2700m here and has a reasonable chance of doubling his money
  73. MINNEAPOLIS – Useful dual-discipline mare returning to the harness code on a hat-trick of disqualifications, but can trot when focused and should not be discounted
    Summary: MAESTRO VET (15), barefoot following his Enghien success, and MARCUS BERRY (9), close to his race and sporting a new configuration, can be preferred to LEONARDO TURGOT (1), who reassured here recently, and LESTER DU CHERISAY (7), provided he stays focused. MUSE DE MONTCEAU (8) is in good form and even though drawn wide is still competitively well in.

  74. JACADI BROUETS – Gave a reassuringly good account on turf 10 days ago when 2nd in a Class F at La Ferté-Vidame. Sports 4 pads for the first time, however a repeat seems improbable
  75. JACKPOT D’ORGUEIL – Finished 10th in a Class F at Le Touquet over 2,600m on 22 August 2026. Has never failed to deliver under these conditions though and must not be overlooked
  76. IMPERIAL MARANDAIS – Pleased on comeback but unplaced in next 2, lastly a Mauquenchy Class E on 23 July. Returns to a more favourable configuration and can set the record straight
  77. ISSI TOP – Ran 7th in a Class F over 2,750m here on 30 July 2026. Laon performance appears to have been a flash in the pan and others easier to back
  78. HEAVEN D’ECAJEUL – Unplaced in a Class D at Enghien over 2,875m on 12 August 2026. Has otherwise been in good condition and from the 5 slot can open his 2026 account
  79. JUPITER FRANCE – Finished 7th over 2140 in Aby, Gothenburg, 2.5 weeks ago. Is back at a more reasonable level and can give HEAVEN D’ECAJEUL (5) a run for his money
  80. JEUNE AMI – Reassuring 2nd in an Abbeville Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Steps back up in category but with morale intact can get in on the action
  81. ILUCE DE BEAUCAMPS – Finished 6th in a Class E at La Capelle over 2,750m on 25 August 2026. Has not raced in the day’s configuration since 2023 and should be taken seriously
  82. JUTLAND – Finished 3rd in a Class G at Les Sables D’Olonne over 2,650m on 19 August 2026, 6 days after winning an amateurs Class F at Enghien. Faces a stiffer test this time but should nevertheless acquit herself honourably
  83. JOISO POKER PRO – Returns to racing barefoot following some uneasy runs in both codes. Franck Nivard in the bike this time and will not be far off the mark if he keeps his 7yo focused
    Summary: This looks an open contest. HEAVEN D’ECAJEUL (5), who should not be judged too harshly for his recent run, JUPITER FRANCE (6), back in France following a Swedish sortie, and a barefoot JOISO POKER PRO (10), capable of getting back in the game on his return to the harness code, can be preferred to ILUCE DE BEAUCAMPS (8), who reverts to an earlier formula.

  84. KOSAK DU FER – Talented sort but has struggled with stride woes for a number of months and will first need to get his house in order
  85. JAGUAR D’ESCRIT – Ran 4th in a Pornichet Class F a fortnight ago. Is just 5 Euros from elimination and, in current condition, can impose this time
  86. KADOR DELO – Finished 3rd in a monte Class G at Arras over 2,900m on 2 August 2026. Is here for reasons of conditioning and can be ignored
  87. KITALIANO ALGREF – Third in a Class F over 2,750m here on 24 July. Is nicely-positioned in front and a similar effort could see him win this
  88. KEOPS DU RABUTIN – Ran 6th in a Class F at Vittel over 2,725m on 15 August 2026. Gave a respectable account here in July and cannot be discounted
  89. JADE THORIS – Kicked the summer off nicely, but was disqualified in two of last three. Has been reconfigured for the occasion but still not an obvious choice
  90. JAGGERS – Was unable to confirm Wolvega performance when 7th in an Abbeville Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Paul Ploquin reining this time though and must be respected
  91. KING DE FOURCHES – Encouraged at Laon a month back but failed to confirm when disqualified in a Montier-en-Der Class H 3.5 weeks ago, and can be passed over
  92. KOQUETTE LIRE – Placed in 2 straight before coming 6th in a 2750m amateurs Class G here last week. Is not ideally-drawn but form is not in question and has a decent chance of picking up a cheque
  93. KRISTAL VICTORY – In the frame in last 3 starts, most recently 3rd in a Cluny Class F last Sunday. On second row here, and returns to a hard surface, but in present shape is hard to ignore
  94. JERIDAN – Ran 2nd in an amateur event on 20 August but was subsequently eliminated at Montier-en-Der 3 days later. Sports pads this time and others preferred
  95. KEFIR COHIAIS – Ran considerably better in a 2700m Class D here last week than his 9th place would suggest. Goes barefoot again and, despite the draw, Kristof Depuydt will be eager to put things right
    Summary: JAGUAR D’ESCRIT (2), whose connections could not have hoped for a better entry, KITALIANO ALGREF (4), particularly effective in his current configuration, KEFIR COHIAIS (12), who represents something of a punt, and KRISTAL VICTORY (10), who has been excelling on turf, are all in with a reasonable shout.

  1. SACRIFICE – Outclassed the opposition in a Maiden at Dieppe over 2,400m on 30 July 2026. Showed improvement when winning last time and should continue to progress
  2. CHEERIO – Outclassed the opposition in a Class 3 at Le Touquet over 2,100m on 26 July 2026. Unbeaten in two starts and will be even better over this longer trip
  3. BOGLIASCO – Threatening to win and was runner-up in a Class 2 at Clairefontaine over 2,400m on 7 August 2026. He has run well in last three starts but could find this field a touch too stronger
  4. AITUTAKI – Victorious in a Maiden at Vichy over 2,400m on 14 August 2026. Won that impressively by 1.25 lengths and should progress from that run
  5. SPIRIT OF ZARAK – Outclassed the opposition in a Maiden at Saint-Cloud over 2,400m on 24 April 2026. Coming back from a break but should have matured from her last success
    Summary: CHEERIO (2) has won his two starts with authority and trainer Francis-Henri Graffard appears to have another promising three-year-old in his yard and has given him time to mature. AITUTAKI (4) looked decent when winning her maiden last time and will not embarrass herself in this stronger field. SPIRIT OF ZARAK (5) comes back from a break but seems promising. SACRIFICE (1) looks decent but faces stronger.

    C2 – PRIX GERARD LIARTE – 2400m (a1m1/2) – TURF – Claiming – Flat – EUR € 11,500
  6. BIG VICTOR – Finished 10th in a Maiden at Dax over 2,300m on 23 August 2026. Does drop in class but will need to up his game
  7. ALLEZ FRERES – Finished 3rd in a Maiden at Vichy over 2,400m on 14 August 2026. Placed 3rd in both starts over this distance and will benefit from the drop in class
  8. PORTOVECCHIO – Unraced 3yo old colt by Threat out of Royal Applause mare Muse Addiction trained by Yvonne Vollmer. Is quite well related and could be a threat at this level
  9. N’EST QU’UN DESTIN – Finished 11th in a Maiden at Vichy over 2,400m on 24 July 2026. He performed poorly in his only race and looks unlikely to feature
  10. HATEDIA FAL – Came home 9th in a Maiden at Vichy over 2,000m on 19 August 2026. That came after a break but if she can repeat her previous run when 5th at Nancy, she should have a say in the finish
  11. SMOLAR – Finished 6th in a Maiden at Clairefontaine over 2,400m on 21 August 2026. Overall form is moderate and will need to improve
  12. NEVER LOST – Finished a 0.75-length 2nd in a Claimer over 2500m at Deauville on 11 August. Is in good form and is proven at this level so should go close
    Summary: ALLEZ FRERES (2) has a lot going for him in this event as he is proven over the trip and could be hard to beat dropping to a Claimer. NEVER LOST (7) seldom runs a bad race, is well weighted and is another who runs well over this distance. HATEDIA FAL (5) will have come on after a warm-up race while first-timer PORTOVECCHIO (3) is bred to perform over the distance.

  54. BENI GODS – Consistent this year and finished fourth in a chase claimer at Clairefontaine over 3700m on 17 August. Not out of it
    Summary: JOYVOL (4) was a recent runner-up in this category at Pompadour and is ideally treated by his apprentice’s allowance, making him a formidable contender. MANAVA (3) is proven at Toulouse and reunites with Lucas Zuliani, so should have every chance of going close. LISETTE D’ESTRUVAL (1) has already finished ahead of her over hurdles and will be looking to confirm that form. GINO’S LINE (2), better known for his exploits over hurdles, is an interesting runner returning to fences.

  58. KOWLOON PARK – Not disgraced when fifth in a handicap chase at Granville over 4300m on 15 August. Not reliable but is capable of making the frame
  59. FOREST DU PECOS AA – Unplaced last time out in a handicap chase at Auteuil over 4400m on 1 March. Returns from a break but can score if fit enough
  60. LEMON – Finished seventh last time out in a Conditions chase at Moulins over 3800m on 13 December. Returns from a break but can contest the finish if fit enough
    Summary: Unbeaten in three starts over hurdles at Toulouse, LE LASCAR (1) has clearly been prepared with this race in mind and looks the one to beat. PRINCESSE DU LYS (2) impressed when scoring at Saint-Malo on July 22nd and returns to steeplechasing after a run on the flat with legitimate claims. FOREST DU PECOS AA (5) is a quality returnee who warrants plenty of respect. KOWLOON PARK (4), taking a break from steeplechasing, is another interesting contender.

  63. CROUZY AA – Has run well in both starts so far, the latest when third in a Conditions race at Tarbes over this distance on 3 July. Should contest the finish
  64. HIBOU POMPADOUR AA – Has only been modest so far and finished fifth in a Conditions race at Dax over this distance on 31 July. Can earn some money
  65. FAIRYLAND’JAC AA – Not reliable and finished seventh in a Conditions race at Mont-de-Marsan over 2150m on 17 August. Has a place chance on best form

  67. HERADIYA AA – Showed some improvement second time out when runner-up in a Conditions race at Royan-La Palmyre over 2300m on 16 August. Can be a lively danger
  68. ANOETA AA – Much improved last time out when third in a Conditions race at Royan-La Palmyre over 2300m on 16 August. Could earn some more money
  69. PRIMAVERA AA – Holding form and finished fourth in a Conditions race at Royan-La Palmyre over 2300m on 16 August. Not out of it
    Summary: BIGBOSS PECOS (1) showed plenty of promise in the first half of the year and, despite carrying a fair weight on his return, looks capable of making a winning comeback. CROUZY (3) has run well in both starts and holds strong claims in this field. NOUSTE COLOR (6) is worth another look on the strength of her second at Langon on June 19th, while NEGAN DE LA BRUNIE (2) has been improving steadily and can also make her presence felt in an interesting lucky last race.
