Summary: MURAAD (2) is clearly decent, having only been beaten once in four starts, but he’s returning from a break and his fitness will need to be taken on trust. EXTRA TIME (1) was a bit unreliable last year and is also returning from a break, but he is talented and can fight it out again. NORMA AL MAURY (3) performed better in 2023 but is classy and clearly not out of it. AL ZEER (5) may need to find more to beat these three rivals.

COUR SAINT ELOI (5) takes a drop in class and could spring a surprise. PASILLO (3) has been placed in this class of event before and also has each-way claims.

Summary: SORIANE (1) comes in this race on the back of two places in similar contests and could have the edge in what is a very open contest. LANCEUR D’ALERTE (3) has gone down the handicap and seems to be on a competitive mark at present. THECLIMB (8) boasts a sound record at this course and must be given some serious consideration. LUCKY LADY (4) is still unexposed and has produced three good runs this season so must have a chance too.
