    Summary: In an open handicap, it may pay to side with IRADIUS (10), who was a solid third in a Listed chase at this track on March 23rd. His main danger appears to be BREXIT (5), who finished one place ahead in second in that same race, with the pair meeting again on identical terms. The extended trip could play to the strengths of the former. INDIVIS (2) is a dual chase winner from last year and appeals for each-way backers. DOCTOR KALEO (8) shaped with promise last time out and can be involved, while INAYA JONES (4) is another who could make the frame.

He won the Prix Congress (Grade 2) chase last November, and if he is back to that sort of form, he has a leading chance.     Summary: STINGO AA (2) could be the answer to this open handicap chase. He was a creditable sixth in a Class 2 handicap chase at Compiegne earlier this month and can bounce back to form. HADDEXA DES OBEAUX (7) could be the main threat. He was a decent fourth two runs back at Pau in early January and did win over fences at this track last year. HIRSON (3) was fifth on the latest start in a Class 2 handicap chase at Compiegne and warrants respect. KAP LORD (1) and KACOU (10) can duel for minor honours.

  5. GALET DU LEON – Disqualified last time out at Saint-Malo on 6 April. Capable of better and is not out of in this line-up
  6. IBANA DE MONTI – Unreliable and finished 6th last time out in Class F at Saint-Malo over 2950m on 6 April. Needs major improvement to win

    Summary: ERK HAUFOR (8) returned to his best with a good win at Reims. He is quite capable of following up over this course and distance. HOLY D’AIMTE (3) has been in good form of late and will not go down without a fight. HARCANGE (13) is improving and holds a winning chance. GALET DU LEON (5) fluffed his lines with a disqualification but is not out of it.

    Summary: MAD WHIP (9) has been runner-up the last two times he raced on grass and can go one better this time around. ZOKOA (10) is unreliable but quite capable of challenging for top honours. MASSA CHOP (13) is also unreliable and is better judged on a good penultimate start. ANGEL CHARLY (5) has some fair form and can get involved in the finish in a competitive-looking race.

  61. JINDOR DE BOZOULS – Fifth in a Conditions race at Pau over 2000m on 4 January. Others are much preferred in this line-up
    Summary: MURAAD (2) is clearly decent, having only been beaten once in four starts, but he’s returning from a break and his fitness will need to be taken on trust. EXTRA TIME (1) was a bit unreliable last year and is also returning from a break, but he is talented and can fight it out again. NORMA AL MAURY (3) performed better in 2023 but is classy and clearly not out of it. AL ZEER (5) may need to find more to beat these three rivals.

    Summary: GORA ERREALA (1) boasts the highest rating in this race and has been supplemented. She is definitely worth a good look in. FLEUR D’AQUITAINE (4) has won in this grade before and although she was well beaten last time, a soft track will be very much in her favor. COUR SAINT ELOI (5) takes a drop in class and could spring a surprise. PASILLO (3) has been placed in this class of event before and also has each-way claims.

  77. LA FILLE DE BERLIN – Third in a Conditions race at Auch over 2000m on 13 April. In fair form, and can earn minor money in this line-up
  78. COCOA – Fourth in a Handicap at this track over 2400m on 7 April. Track-suited and is capable of contesting the finish again
  79. EVAMIS – Unplaced in a Handicap at this track over 2400m on 7 April. Probably best watched for now and must improve
  80. KHELLE TARTARE – Fifth in a Handicap at this track over 2400m on 7 April. Unlikely to be involved in the finish and needs to find a few lengths
  81. AS A CHARM – A runner-up in a Conditions race at Cavaillon over 1600m on 23 March. In good form this year and deserves to be respected
  82. GRISGRISES – Well beaten 8th in a Handicap at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat over 2400m on 5 April. Others are preferred in this line-up
    Summary: SORIANE (1) comes in this race on the back of two places in similar contests and could have the edge in what is a very open contest. LANCEUR D’ALERTE (3) has gone down the handicap and seems to be on a competitive mark at present. THECLIMB (8) boasts a sound record at this course and must be given some serious consideration. LUCKY LADY (4) is still unexposed and has produced three good runs this season so must have a chance too.
