  1. KAMA HIGHLAND – Has lost her way of late and was 10th in Class E at Lyon-Parilly over 2850m on 27 April. Did better last year and is capable of earning some money
  2. KOHANA – Has only been modest of late and was 7th in Class E at Laval over 2850m on 30 April. Needs to find a few lengths to beat these rivals
  3. KISSES ROYALE – Disqualified last time out at Caen on 26 April. A mixed bag of tricks and is always capable of winning when in the mood
  4. KELLY CHARLY ERA – Disqualified last time out at this track on 11 April. In good form before that and is capable of getting into the mix again
  5. KANELLE STAR – On a long losing run but is in good form and was third in Class E at Cordemais over 2825m on 20 April. Can contest the finish again
  6. KARMEN DE MONTCEAU – Has struggled of late and was 10th in Class D at this track over 2850m on 5 January. Others make much more appeal
  7. KRYSEIS – Disqualified in her last two starts, with the latest being at Meslay-du-Maine on 18 March. Has won at this track and is capable of an upset
  8. KATOUCHKA – Much improved last run when barefoot and runner-up in Class E at Ecommoy over 2750m on 20 April. Remains unshod and has a winning chance
    Summary: KATOUCHKA (8) returned to form with a good runner-up performance when racing barefoot. She remains barefoot and can go one better this time. KISSES ROYALE (3) has struggled in both her starts this year but is capable of posing a serious threat to these rivals. KANELLE STAR (5) is not easy to trust but is in good form and would not be a surprise winner. KRYSEIS (7) is inconsistent but capable of scoring when in the right mood.

  13. FUNNY HORSE – Returned from a break and was victorious in Class F at Rambouillet over 2800m on 20 April. Not out of it in this line-up
  14. FUCHSIA DU RIB – Has not won for some time but was barefoot and fourth in Class E at this track over 2700m on 18 April. Should be competitive in this line-up
  15. GALINETTE BLEUE – Probably neded her only run of the year when 8th in Class D at Argentan over 2875m on 19 March. Barefoot and capable of a suprise
  16. GLORIOSO BELLO – Disqualified last time out at this track on 3 January. capable of better but could need this run returning from a break
  17. FILLMORE – Well tried this year and was runner-up last time out in a claimer over this track and trip on 22 April. Might play a minor role
  18. GEDEON DAIRPET – Very hard to trust but was victoriious in a claimer at this track over 2700m on 1 April. Needs to do more to beat these rivals
  19. GOELAND DE JANZE – Disqualified last time out at Ecommoy on 21 April. In good form before that and has a winning chance in this line-up
  20. GAMIN DU GAULTIER – Holding form and was fourth in Class E at Eccomoy over 2750m on 21 April. Capable of making the frame
  21. FRANCO FLEURI – Showed some improvement and was third in Class E at Ecommoy over 2750m on 21 April. Might play a minor role
  22. FALCOM DU BOCAGE – On a long losing run but is in good form and was barefoot and third in a claimer over this course and distance on 22 April. Can contest the finish
  23. FERIA DE LIGNY – Has been struggling fro some time now and was 11th in a claimer over this course and distance on 22 April. Needs major improvement to win
  24. GAMELIA DU LUPIN – Remains in good form and was runner-up in Class D at Cordemais over 2825m on 28 February. Can go one better this time
    Summary: GAMELIA DU LUPIN (16) remains in very good form and gets a narrow vote to score in what looks a competitive race. She is very effective over this distance. FALCOM DU BOCAGE (14) has shown improvement of late and is threatening to end a long losing run. GOELAND DE JANZE (11) has had disqualification issues but is quite capable of winning a race like this if he behaves this time. FUCHSIA DU RIB (6) has not won for some time but could make the frame.

  36. LILAS CASTELLE – Returned to form with a good runner-up performance in Class A at this course over 2850m on 5 April. Not reliable but is not out of it
  37. L’AS DESBOIS – A runner-up in two of his last three starts, including last time out at in a Group 3 over this course and distance on 1 March. Be right there at the finish
    Summary: Some quality runners on show. LIZZANO D’ALOUETTE (11) is knocking at the door and should make a bold bid to beat these rivals. L’AS DESBOIS (13) has performed very well this year without winning but would not be a surprise winner here. LORD DU BASSIN (10) continues to impress and should be right there at the finish once again. LOVE LETTER (6) was not disgraced last time out and will be fitter this time around, so deserves consideration.

  49. KANA DE BEYLEV – Very unreliable but showed her best when victorious in a Group 2 at this course over 2700m on 12 April. Can follow up if in the same mood
  50. KOCTEL DU DAIN – Holding form this year and was third in a Group 2 at this track over 2700m on 12 April. Can get involved in the finish once again
    Summary: KANA DE BEYLEV (12) is a high-class mare and reminded us of that with a good win last time out at this course. She is quite capable of beating the males as well. KANTO AVIS (8) has been very good over 2700m this year and now gets the chance to prove himself over this slightly longer trip. KOCTEL DU DAIN (13) won over this course and distance in January and is clearly not out of it. KATAKI DE WALLIS (3) was not disgraced when racing barefoot last time out and remains unshod, so can do even better this time around.

  60. EXTREME DESBOIS – In good form and was fourth in a Group 2 Mounted race at this track over 2700m on 18 April. Could contest the finish again
    Summary: Interestingly, IMAGINE D’ATOUT (8) has been disqualified on her last two visits to this track. However, she has been impressive of late with two smart wins and gets the vote to score. ILTON ROYAL (9) has been at the top of his game recently and impressed with his last win at this track. JUST FOR BACK (3) is very competitive here and was a winner last time out over a similar distance, so deserves the utmost respect. ICARE DE PHYT’S (1) is unreliable but could get involved in the finish.

  72. INSTRUMENTALISTE – Unreliable and was 11th in Class B at Vincennes over 2100m on 12 April. Unlucky last time out and can be a lively danger
  73. HUBBLE DU VIVIER – Disappointing recent form and was 8th in a Group 3 at Maure-de-Bretagne over 2850m on 23 April. Capable of better but others are preferred
    Summary: COBRA KILLER GAR (10) has won each of his last ten starts, and there is no real reason to think he won’t win this one as well. INSTRUMENTALISTE (12) has not won for some time but was an unlucky loser last time out and deserves respect for that effort. INVICTUS MADIBA (2) is also on a long losing streak but is in good shape and can contest the finish. IBISCUS MAN (7) has run well a couple of times over a similar distance and is not out of it.

    Summary: LIBERTÉ DE CHOISEL (12) has actually won all her races, although she was disqualified in one of them. She clearly sets the standard in this race and gets a confident vote to score. LETTRE D’AMOUR (10) clearly needed her only start of the year and should improve, especially now racing barefoot for the very first time. LAKARA (11) ran well on her return from a break and will be fitter this time, making her a threat. LAST QUEEN (2) is not reliable but is capable of getting into the mix again.

    Summary: ILIADE (SWE) (10) goes well for Alexandre Abrivard. She is not the most reliable, but she is capable of taking out this lucky last race if at her best. FREEDOM (NOR) (9) usually performs well when racing barefoot and should challenge for top honours. MISTER INVICTUS (5) is a mixed bag but would not be a surprise winner. IDÉAL BOY (8) did not show his best when last seen at this track but is capable of making the frame.

  2. PRINCE OF PARIS – Got off the mark over 3800m at Moulins in a Class 4 chase on April 6th. Might find this more testing
  3. COUTE QUE COUTE – Fair 4th over fences last time in a Class 3 race over 3500m at this track and a win before that on March 11th at Fontainebleau over fences. One to keep onside
  4. LORD BRETT – Decent 3rd in a Listed hurdle over 3600m at this track on April 3rd. Chase debut and can score
  5. NIRVALLA – Not seen since a fair 3rd over 3500m in a Listed hurdle on December 8th at Auteuil. Can not be ignored
  6. REST EXIT – Unplaced last time over 3400m in a Class 2 hurdle on March 4th and a win before that in a Class 2 hurdle at Cagnes-Sur-Mer in December over 3500m. Chasing debut and others rate higher
    Summary: LORD BRETT (4) was a decent third in a Listed hurdle at this track when last seen in early April, and he can make a winning start to his chasing career. CROWN DU BERLAIS (1) has placed form over fences and ran a fair race in a Listed chase early last month. He can make his presence felt. COUTE QUE COUTE (3) won two runs back over fences at Fontainebleau in early March and was a fair third over this track on her latest start. She can not be ruled out.

  10. KARA DIAMOND – Creditable 2nd over 3600m at La Teste in a Class 3 hurdle on April 24th. Grade 3 hurdle winner in 2023 over track and trip. Can have a say
  11. BALLING DE JUILLEY – Ran well to be 2nd over track and trip in a Class 1 handicap on March 30th. This is a stiffer test
  12. MISS WOOD – Two 2nd placed runs this year, the latter over track and trip in a Listed hurdle on April 3rd. Ought to be in the shake-up
  13. HIGHBOURNEDYNAMITE – Ran well to be 3rd over 3600m at Compiegne in a Class 2 hurdle on April 2nd. Might need a few to falter
    Summary: SUGAR GLIDER (3) was in terrific form last year, with three wins in a row. She can keep on improving and should be fit after an absence of seven months. MISS WOOD (6) is a live threat, her last effort was a good run when second in a Listed hurdle over course and distance in early April. KARA DIAMOND (4) is a Grade 3 winner over course and distance in 2023 and shaped well to be second at La Teste late last month on her latest run. BAHYADAME (2) heads the remainder.

    Summary: EMBIEZ (14) has been steadily improving with each outing and produced a pleasing finish last time out which should hold him in good stead heading into this event. DSCHINGIS RIVER (5) was in behind the top pick at his latest outing and can get closer with some weight off the back. He appears to be the main danger. LARWA (7) failed to fire up last time out and shouldn’t be dismissed in this contest as she is more than capable of posing as a threat. DIYASHAL (3) has been successful over the hurdles having won three times but is back on the flat where he remains a maiden but has the form to earn.
