VIEW LOOKS JUST FINE AT NEWBURY

Fine Form
Bayside View NB – 6.25
was unlucky on her debut at Doncaster but has the chance to make amends in the Darley EBF Fillies’ Novice Stakes at Newbury.
Michael Bell’s daughter of Bayside Boy went clear in the hands of Zac Lloyd heading to the line on Town Moor, but Karl Burke’s Met Ball did just enough to get up and beat her by a neck inside the closing stages.
She can come forward from that run and the booking of champion jockey Oisin Murphy helps the quest to shed her maiden tag.
Wateera NB – 5.17
can defy a 7lb penalty to double up in the BetVictor 100-1 On England Fillies’ Restricted Novice Stakes.
The Burke-trained Dandy Man filly was impressive on debut at Wetherby earlier this month, making all to hold off all-comers and prevail by two lengths in West Yorkshire.
The extra half-furlong should pose no problems for Wateera with Pattern targets potentially on her agenda later in the summer.
Lahan Kingman NB – 7.00
has been placed on all three racecourse starts and can finally get her nose in front at the fourth time of asking in the Venture Security Handicap.
The daughter of Kingman was third behind Touleen on her only juvenile start and the form of that race could not have worked out much better.
Touleen beat subsequent Rockfel Stakes winner Zanthos next time out before going on to finish second in the Coronation Stakes last week while the second Secret History, has won twice since.
Lahan Kingman was second in a Wolverhampton novice and again took the silver medal in a Lingfield maiden when she tried six furlongs for the first time but on her return to seven and back on turf she can find her way into the winner’s enclosure in first-time blinkers.
The Ian Williams-trained
Tiger NB – 8.35
looked all over the winner last time out at Doncaster but failed to see out the trip as well as the eventual victor Optician.
He races over a furlong less in the Racehorse Ownership From #25 At racingclub.com Apprentice Handicap and that looks the right move.
He runs off the same mark and this strong traveller can make amends.
Burke should also be among the winners at Beverley with
Little Lady Karen BE – 2.15
in the Here Come the Girls EBF Fillies’ Novice Stakes.
Another example of a well bought filly by Nick Bradley, her dam is related to Queen Anne winner Accidental Agent and another Group One winner in Mohaather.
She finished last of three on her debut but was up against two rivals with experience and she was only beaten a little over five lengths.
Given Burke’s current form and his expertise with juveniles, she can be expected to be wiser for the run.
Roaring Ralph BE – 2.45
is seeking a hat-trick in the Beverley Racecourse Supporting Racing Staff Week Handicap.
The six-year-old has won five of his last six starts and has not finished outside the top two in his last eight trips to the racecourse.
The Michael Dods-trained gelding can follow up on his wins at Ayr and Wetherby to make it a successful month.
Wid FF – 3.30
looks an interesting runner for Ralph Beckett in the Vibe Recruit Maiden Stakes at Ffos Las.
She showed little on on her only run at two at Doncaster, however she is by Wootton Bassett out of a Group One-winning mare and the odds are she is capable of a lot better.
Paul Nicholls needs just a few more winners to replace Martin Pipe as the trainer of the most National Hunt winners and he can take another step closer to that milestone with the unbeaten
Outmaster NA – 6.45
in the Happy Birthday June O’Dwyer Novices’ Hurdle at Newton Abbot.
The five-year-old comfortably won a point-to-point last summer before switching to Ditcheat from Gina Andrews after he was bought by Old Gold Racing.
He then made his debut at Newton Abbot and barely had to break sweat as he galloped home by 30 lengths and although he might find it more competitive this
time around he can go two-for-two for the 14-time champion trainer.
