R1 CABOURG [R-H]
C1 – PRIX DU MONT-SAINT-MICHEL – 2725m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 33,000
- HELIOS D’ANCLEMAX – Ran 5th in a Chartres Class E on 17 June but was never threatening and is not about to spring any surprises
- JETPACK – Occasionally a handful but has left us in no doubt about his form. Has shown considerable appreciation for Cabourg and is well-placed to win this
- IMAKO VERDERIE – Put away after winning at Lisieux in late-March. Has 2 runs under his belt since the layup, sports 4 pads for the occasion, and while not a leading contender, should nevertheless hold his own
- JOGGER KILY – Steps up in category after producing a trio of solid clockwise performances, latterly running 3rd in a Vichy Class F in mid-June. Has pulled a good number but may find the going much tougher this time
- HISTORY MAJYC – Particularly disappointing in 2025 and has picked up in 2026 where she left off. Disregard
- JERIKA DE KERYANN – Returns barefoot to the harness code after a pair of monte blips. Starts in front and will be barefoot but others still preferred
- IPSO D’AVIGNERE – Can prove a bit of a handful but has nothing to prove in this category. Is barefoot for first objective of the year and from the front line can give this a good go. First 5
- JAZZMAN – Hardy individual with a good turn of foot and is clearly in shape. Has never failed to fire at Cabourg and has the wherewithal to challenge for a place in the frame
- JAB KISS – Returned to the winners’ circle at Lisieux 2 weeks ago when securing an amateurs Class G but will struggle to make his presence felt this time
- JANNIG D’EREVAN – Runner-up in 2 before being eliminated in next 2. Is a tough nut to crack when applied however and will be reunited with Sebastien Ernault who has form with him. Place chance
- JE VIENS DU SUD – Got the year off to a slow start but has been thriving lately. Won last 2 in good order and even from the second row will be competitive when it matters
- JULIANO STILE – Put an end to his dry spell when 5th in a Caen Class F on 22 June. Trainer-driver would have preferred a better draw but, with form maintained, can repeat
- JADE FOR EVER – Has finished no closer than 5th in 6 starts this season and will have nothing to offer
- JOYEUX MESLOIS – Has imposed just once for new trainer and has been handed a tough number, but always gives his best and is unlikely to go home empty-handed
Summary: Winner here earlier in the year, and runner-up in 2 of his last 3 starts, JETPACK (2) enjoys a good draw and can wrap this up. François Lagadeuc will be unsurprisingly wary of JE VIENS DU SUD (11) who, despite a poor draw, will be vying for the three-timer, and the Cabourg-liking JANNIG D’EREVAN (10) who starts upsides. JAZZMAN (8) may not have pulled the best of numbers either but his form is sure and will be shod as he was when victorious at Challans in late-April.

C2 – PRIX DE GRANVILLE – 2750m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 26,000 - MACAME DU CAUX – Imposed at Gournay-en-Bray late-May prior to running 2nd in an Amiens Class E 3.5 weeks ago, but sports shoes this time and is not a priority
- LADY DE SAINT JEAN – Took an honourable step up in category when 5th in a Cherbourg Class E last week. Would be preferred barefoot but still cannot be ruled out
- MAGIC MAGGIE – Encouraged at Le Mans on 21 May but failed to confirm when eliminated at Lisieux early last month, and can expect to have few takers
- LA VALLEY FLIGNY – Not the easiest of horses to use but reassured somewhat in a Caen Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Has no Cabourg references but breaks on the front line and will have her supporters
- MISS DU PERCHE – Ran 4th in a competitive Lisieux Class D on 7 June after having twice imposed a level down. Breaks in front here and, with form maintained, could pleasantly surprise
- LADY CHANNEL – Serious filly that has run 2nd in both Cabourg starts. Has a race under her belt since last summer, will be shod to preference, and from the front row can give this a good go
- LA BELLE DE BEYLEV – Showed a different side at La Capelle on 19 June when 3rd in a 2750m Class E. Another top driver reining this time and, given the entry, must be taken seriously
- MANA MIX – Facile winner of a Vichy Class E a fortnight ago, first time barefoot. Possesses bags of untapped potential and under these conditions can make this her own
- LUTECE D’OUVILLE – Lost her way after imposing over track and trip last January. Has not been seen out since March and is clearly in conditioning-mode
- MOON STAR FOR YOU – Has ample ability but dependability not her strong suit. Returns to racing shod and is unlikely to spice things up
- MY GIRL PIYA – Hard to knock when focused but is here for reasons of conditioning and can be disregarded
- LOUBIANA DU BOURG – Kicked the year off in good order but has since come off the boil and can be passed over
- LUNA DOMA – Has 3 races under her belt this term but has done nothing to reassure connections and from the 2nd line will have too much to do
- LOREZZA ERA – Has looked a different horse since moving yards, winning 2 of 3. Has a lot going for her here and even from the back row can contest the finish
- LOUVE DE BAIS – Handy mare with a race in her since the break but will stay shod and best to keep one’s powder dry
- LUNE LUMALO – Quality filly with nothing to prove at the venue. Is well-entered here and her recent Enghien result augurs well for her chances
Summary: Winner on re-entry in mid-May before going on to dominate at Vichy a fortnight ago, MANA MIX (8) benefits from a terrific entry on the front row and looks a better bet than the similarly hat-trick-seeking LOREZZA ERA (14) who is 25m worse off. LUNE LUMALO (16) showed marked improvement at Enghien recently, has a particular liking for Cabourg conditions, and the engagement will only work to her advantage. Entrusted to Franck Nivard after having reassured at La Capelle 2 weeks back, LA BELLE DE BEYLEV (7) enjoys a front-row start and, with application, can again go close. MISS DU PERCHE (5) missed out on the three-timer, but nevertheless held her own, at Lisieux early last month and is unlikely to disappoint.

C3 – PRIX DE RANES – 2725m (a1m1/2) – Class F – Harness – EUR € 27,000 - KARINA JOSSELYN – Unremarkable mare that showed moderate improvement at Lisieux a fortnight ago, but not enough to be considered a player this time
- KIRENE FLASH – Has delivered a mixed bag this term but is no easy touch when focused. Goes barefoot as she was when imposing at Amiens earlier in the year and is sufficiently well-placed to pick up a cheque
- JELLY JAMM – Not the easiest to use and has never delivered at Cabourg, but is better than her recent Jallais result would suggest, and the draw will only work to her advantage
- KAMELIA DE JEAN – Pleased on comeback in late-April but has failed to confirm on 3 occasions and even going barefoot is not an obvious choice
- JAZZY MAKER – Ran 3rd at La Capelle before failing to deliver in a Reims Class E early last month. Enjoys a good entry here and from the 5 slot can put in a good showing. First 5
- INES DE GLADJESS – Springs the occasional surprise, as she did when 3rd at Villedieu-les-Poëles in late-April. Is barefoot this time but has no love for Cabourg and can be passed over
- KIRA DE CAHOT – Won an Enghien claimer in March but has twice failed to confirm. Pierre-Yves Verva back in the bike but looks no more than a minor place chance
- KONSTANCIA D’OYSE – Placed at Royan in early-May but has failed to make any impact in 4 since and is not about to influence the outcome
- JESABELLE DU JOUR – Eliminated in 9 of last 10 public outings and can be confidently disregarded
- JAKIRA – Has been completely out of the picture since August 2025 and is not about to shake things up
- YES PLEASE – Has not once finished out of the first 3 in over a year. Pleased on sole start on French soil, will be entrusted to Paul Ploquin for the first time, and even from the 2nd row can play a leading role
- KALANSKA – Significantly better mare than recent numbers would imply. Showed improvement at Cherbourg mid-June and returns to a track she likes with a good hand to play
- KALINE D’ERPION – Has hardly put a foot out of line since returning this season. Clinched Class F victory 11 days ago. Won for Alexandre Abrivard on her sole Cabourg start and has a reasonable chance of repeating
- QUEEN OF THE NIGHT – Unexceptional mare with just one race under her belt since returning from a lengthy hiatus. Stays shod for the occasion and will have few takers
Summary: On an improving run of form, KALINE D’ERPION (13) made amends for her Elbeuf elimination when victorious at Le Croise-Laroche recently and, with Alexandre Abrivard back in the bike, can defy the draw and double her money. YES PLEASE (11) consistently gives everything she has and ran 3rd last December at Vincennes on her sole French start. KALANSKA (12) is another good prospect on the back row, presents fine Cabourg credentials, and receives a Yoann Lebourgeois drive. JELLY JAMM (3), in contrast, is ideally-positioned behind the car and a repeat of her Reims performance would see her finish close.

C4 – PRIX PAUL VIEL – 2750m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 37,000 - CAMERON – Placed under the saddle at Lisieux on 7 June, then repeated under harness at Reims a fortnight later. Takes on a better lot this time though and chances seem limited
- LOOK OF LOVE – Had been on a rich vein of form before being trounced in a Vincennes Class D in late-May. Boasts a 50 percent win-rate going clockwise but may just be taking on too much
- NELSON GREENWOOD – Placed in first 2 returns runs then ran out of luck in an Enghien Class A on 23 May, but if kept out of harm’s way can contest the finish this time
- KORONA DELADOU – Has not got her nose in front since January but has been acquitting herself well of late and should not be far from the action if she stays in stride
- DADA DEL RONCO – Got back in the game at Vincennes 2 weeks ago when 4th in a 2850m Class E. Pleased on sole start at the venue and although not a priority is still worth retaining
- MAX OCCAGNES – Returns to racing clockwise after securing 2 going left-handed, latterly dominating a Vincennes Class E on 15 May. Comes here fresh and can expect the lion’s share of support
- KAISER – Won a Chartres Class E in late-April but failed to deliver early last month in a Caen Class D and will have his work cut out
- NIAGARA RIVER – Serious mare that has won her last 3 starts. Has raced just once going right-handed but will be partnered by Yoann Lebourgeois for the first time, is behind in earnings, and must be regarded a leading contender
- KOALA BLUE – Back in business following a brief lull earlier in the spring. Is hard to knock with his driver and makes his Cabourg bow with a good hand to play
- KALITA D’HENINEL – Has turned a corner lately with 2 places on turf. Is new to Cabourg but goes well right-handed and should not be written off
- EXPRESS D’ARC – Useful trotter returning to France following some black-type runs at home in Italy. Is hard to fault when focused and will be no easy touch if he turns
- KNOCKONWOOD – Has been disappointing on the whole for some time and appears to have no possible chance
- KEY LADY – Not the most reliable horse in the field but can trot when focused. Trainer back in the bike and is not one to be overlooked
- JOYCE DES GRANGES – One of the most reliable horses here but has no Cabourg references and in this category will need to find more
- INVICTUS ONE – Has started to get back in the game after a couple of necessary conditioners. Sports 4 pads though and best to hold off
- JUDY MATIDY – Honest mare that seldom lets the side down but is in conditioning-mode this time and not a priority
Summary: Winner on his sole start at the venue, MAX OCCAGNES (6) returns to Cabourg on a hat-trick and, shod as he was that day, can pull it off. Dominik Locqueneux will still be mindful of the on-form NELSON GREENWOOD (3) who was very unlucky at Enghien last time out, and NIAGARA RIVER (8) who is unbeaten in 3 starts since returning to France. KOALA BLUE (9) returns to a hard surface after twice running 2nd on turf and, already 4 times a winner for Alexandre Abrivard, is easy to like. EXPRESS D’ARC (11) imposed last time he disputed a Quinte and will be shod as he was on that occasion.

C5 – PRIX D’AGON-COUTAINVILLE – 2725m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 22,000 - MIAMI – 21 races and yet to get off the mark but is no slouch when focused. Defied her odds at Cholet early last month and is unlikely to be sent out at 40-1 this time
- MELLYNGA – Failed to confirm Argentan performance when well-beaten behind MIAMI (1) at Cholet. Breaks on front row but others still easier to back
- MOON DES ARRIS – Has been knocking at the door over recent months and is due a win one of these days. Has no clockwise references but in current condition is nevertheless easy to recommend
- MARIE D’AIMTE – Eliminated early at Vichy on 24 June but nonetheless showed her form thereafter. Will be shod as she was when victorious at Laval in late-April and, if applied, can make her way back into the winners’ circle
- MI CASA – Not an easy horse to use but seldom disappoints when focused and makes her Cabourg bow with a decent chance of bringing the fight to MARIE D’AIMTE (4)
- MASTERCLASS D’EARL – Still chasing that elusive first win. Has looked ordinary this term and will have little to contribute
- MENEUSE DE HOUELLE – Briefly lost her way after imposing at Reims in late-April but has twice since reassured at Caen recently and even though drawn wide still looks a respectable first-5 prospect
- MALAGA DE MARZY – Won an Angers Class F on 2nd start back but was unsure of stride next time, and in this company will struggle to make her mark
- MIYAJIMA VET – Encouraged at Caen in early-spring but has comprehensively failed to confirm 4 times and can be ruled out
- MOOVIESTAR SOMOLLI – Moderate filly making first appearance since 12 March. Will be shod for the occasion and can expect to have few takers
- MAYWENN DU GUERET – Takes on a marginally better bunch after having stayed on well to win at Caen a fortnight ago. Is forced to break on back line but has earned the right to take her chances and must be respected
- MINDIE DES PRES – Took some time to come to hand this term but ran 2nd in an Ecommoy Class F a fortnight ago. Has pulled a 2nd row number but still cannot be discounted
- MAMZELLE DREAM – Honest filly that always gives her best. Has not raced for 2 months but has pulled a rough number and looks to have her work cut out
- MONEY DU CHATELET – Quality filly that won her only right-handed race. Gave a good account at Cherbourg on re-entry last month, will have progressed for the run, and despite a tough draw, sports a fresh configuration and looks competitively well in
Summary: Eliminated in 2 after having won her first 2 of the year, MARIE D’AIMTE (4) will be helped by the mobile start, has been reconfigured, and the draw may just make all the difference. MI CASA (5) is not badly-placed herself and will not be easy to oppose if she keeps her action together. MOON DES ARRIS (3) is clearly close to her race and also looks competitive. MAYWENN DU GUERET (11) has won 3 of 4 this year, is confirmed at Cabourg, and will sport a new configuration.

C6 – PRIX DE PORTBAIL – 2750m (a1m1/2) – Class F – Harness – EUR € 23,000 - LEWIS PARK – Surprise 3rd on turf in early-May but failed to confirm a fortnight later and with shoes on will have nothing to give
- LOUXOR DU PONT – Still chasing that elusive first win but can trot. Failed to impress in either return run but will be barefoot this time and is worth a second look
- L’ELU DU CHERISAY – Impressive last summer before subsequently coming off the boil. Has not raced since last November and will be given an easy comeback
- L’AS DE PIQUE – Modest trotter that has made little impact since August 2025 and in present shape can be ruled out
- LUPIN DU HOULEY – Capricious element that has done nothing of note since August last year and even though reconfigured still looks to be out of his depth
- LENNY D’EP – Has been a complete write-off since October. Incurs the penalty and has no possible chance
- LOULOU CHAFS – Reliability not his strong suit but caught the eye in a Vichy Class F 3 weeks ago and can figure prominently if he keeps his action together
- LALICIO BELLO – Pleasant in both return runs before being eliminated at Erbray on 14 June. Will appreciate returning to a hard surface and Alexis Collette has a point to prove. First 5
- LOPIUM PRIOR – Has not been seen out since last November, and debuts at the venue, but will have been particularly prepared for this and, with shoes off again, can contest the finish
- LOULOU D’YMER – Ran 3rd in a Gournay-en-Bray Class F in late-May prior to being eliminated at Le Touquet a fortnight back. Has been reconfigured for the occasion and, if applied, can get back in the game
- LE BEAU CIEL – Eliminated in all 4 starts this term but is not short of talent. Entrusted to Yoann Lebourgeois for the first time and can start to put things right. Claim
- L’AS DU PERCHE – Was unable to confirm Le Mont-Saint-Michel victory when 7th in a Lisieux Class E on 7 June but should not be too hastily-judged. Has a lot more going for him this time and will not be far from the action
- LEOPOLD DU BANNEY – Serious sort returning from a necessary layoff. Will stay shod for comeback and best to keep one’s powder dry
- LORIQUET – Started to come good again in May but has since lost his way and, placed on 2nd line, is unlikely to generate much interest
- LARGO D’ENFER – Produced a pair of good performances before suffering a poor trip at Amiens 3 weeks ago. Is clearly in shape though and Esteban De Jesus will be keen to set the record straight
- LIBRE PENSEUR MEEK – Useful, but complicated, type starting for first time since mid-January. Will sport shoes for the occasion and will have nothing to contribute
Summary: If the freshly-reconfigured LE BEAU CIEL (11) manages to channel his inner calm, or if Yoann Lebourgeois manages to do it for him, the race could well be theirs for the taking. LOPIUM PRIOR (9), however, is considerably more predictable and clearly means business on his first start back. L’AS DU PERCHE (12) is ideally-entered on the front line, has been re-shod, and Robin Lamy will be eager to deliver. LARGO D’ENFER (15) endured a bad trip at Amiens last month and will be no pushover if kept out of trouble.

C7 – PRIX DE GENETS – 2750m (a1m1/2) – Class F – Mounted – EUR € 19,500 - MELBA DE L’OREE – Has yet to display any aptitude for either discipline and has no realistic chance
- MIA DES MURAILLES – Qualified nicely at Grosbois in May but has so far failed to live up to expectations and can be written off
- MISTY DES LANDIERS – Modest on debut and has twice been eliminated since. Mehdi Lelièvre aboard this time but still not a concern
- MADAME DES LOYAUX – Disappointing on the whole since her sanctioned debut in April 2025 and can be confidently disregarded
- MY WAY PIYA – Gave a good account when 3rd, a place behind MA BELLE ASSCHADEL (13), in a Cherbourg Class F mid-June, on just her second start. Will have improved for the run and, with pads fitted this time, can finish close
- MINETTE – Moderate filly that has yet to make her mark in the code. Has never delivered when barefoot and in current condition is unlikely to start now
- MUSE TENSAU – Showed early potential but has been disappointing over recent months and is unlikely to create an upset
- MARIGNANA JEEP – Complicated filly that encouraged at Cholet early last month but was unable to confirm at Ecommoy 11 days later and will have few friends
- MONDAINE – Returned from her spell under harness at Caen 2 weeks ago. Is sure to have come on for the race and looks a serious proposition this time
- MO CUISHLE DESTHER – Winner first time out but has subsequently failed to confirm. Returns fresh from her layoff however, will be first-time barefoot, and should not be underestimated
- MYRTILLE DU BUST – Has shown improvement since returning to the discipline. Sports a fresh formula for her return to Cabourg and could pick up minor honours
- MANA TEJY – Returns to the code after a pair of harness conditioners. Is competitively-shod for first objective of the year and will be reunited with Paul Ploquin. Chance
- MA BELLE ASSCHADEL – Surprise 2nd in a Cherbourg Class F before coming a cropper at Enghien last Saturday, and not an obvious choice
- MAYTIKA DU VAL – Has failed to impress since returning from her layup but will be padded this time which could make all the difference
- MARIE DE L’AUNAY – Encouraged earlier in the year but has been out of sorts over recent months and will have nothing to offer
- MADO – Placed under these conditions last December but latest form does little to inspire confidence
- MARILOU D’ERI – Placed in an Amiens Class E 3 weeks ago but failed to repeat last weekend and better options are available
- MELODY CHANTEREINE – Well-engaged at the limit of earnings, however she has run 19 times. Has displayed considerable aptitude for her new vocation though and, if applied, can impose
Summary: MELODY CHANTEREINE (18) is not always at her ease but she has shown considerable potential and can get off the mark if Esteban De Jesus manages to keep her focused long enough. Winner at Bordeaux earlier in the year, MONDAINE (9) will have work behind her for her return to the discipline and will be expected to apply the pressure, as will a competitively-shod MANA TEJY (12) who will be race-fit by now, and a padded MY WAY PIYA (5) whose recent monte debut did not go unnoticed. MO CUISHLE DESTHER (10) will be barefoot for the first time and Antonin André can be justifiably confident.

C8 – PRIX DE BAGNOLES DE L’ORNE – 2050m (a1m1/4) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 22,000 - NETCHE BEST – Useful element that was put away after running 3rd over course and distance in early-January. Has not been seen out since but should nevertheless hold his own
- NEPTUNE PIERJI – Debuted modestly in an Enghien Class B under the saddle last week. Will have progressed for the run but cannot be considered a player
- NEW SPIRIT – Made up for 2 eliminations when 4th in a Mauquenchy Class D on 4 June. Will have improved for the race and could contest a place in the frame this time
- NUAGE MYSTIC – Eliminated more often than not but opened his account at Laval 2 weeks ago. Sports 4 pads for the first time and the draw will do his chances no harm. Attention
- NO SECRET – Ran valiant 4th in a Caen Class D on 22 June. Has yet to get off the mark but looks close to his race and has a realistic chance of giving NOBEL DE TILLARD (6) a run for his money
- NOBEL DE TILLARD – Has met no opposition in either start to date. Comes here fresh but will have work behind him and is easy to like for the win
- NERPRUN – Has yet to lose his maiden tag but has always finished in the thick of things. Has not been seen out for 2 months but is competitively-shod for the first time and with Alexis Collette in the bike will be no pushover
- NOMADE DU VALVIC – Qualified respectably at Caen in January but was trounced on his debut at Montmirail last Sunday and is not about to upset the status quo
Summary: Superb winner on February debut, NOBEL DE TILLARD (6) repeated the following month in similar fashion. He has not raced since but is plainly in race-mode and with a leading driver in the bike can keep his unbeaten record intact. That being said, NO SECRET (5) is back on track and from the 5 slot will be no soft touch. NEW SPIRIT (3) is still somewhat green but he encouraged at Mauquenchy a month ago and a return to racing right-handed may be just the ticket.

Summary: A competitive looking opening race. Charley Mottier sends out two leading chances in this race , including JANA D’ARMOR (5), who is in good form and no longer needs to prove herself at this level. JENNY LEGEND (7), a recent winner in this grade, JIPSY DES AIRES (8), who has already scored on this track with her rider, and INCAS D’EURVAD (9), returning to the sand, look best equipped to challenge her.

- NAPOLITAIN RANAIS – Has only been modest so far and finished 7th in a class F at Vichy over 2950m on 29 June. Capable of improvement and could earn some money
Summary: A very open looking race. The consistent NEVER SEEN (1) finds a good opportunity to get off the mark in this very modest field. Entrusted to capable drivers, NEED YOU SAMAC (5) is capable of scoring if staying on the trot. NOSTALGIE CENE (8) has already changed stables three times but is not without a chance this time. tTe debutante NAVALE GEMA (9) also warrants a mention from a trainer that knows what is needed to win on debut.
