    Summary: KING OF CLOUGHAN (2) impressed when opening his account in a competitive Listed contest at Royal Ascot in June. An improving juvenile, he is taken to get the better of his two rivals. BEIBHINN (3) looks the main danger after a solid third in the Airlie Stud Stakes (Gr.2) at the Curragh on 27 June. The sole French challenger, TOKAIDO (1), arrives on a three-race winning streak, most recently landing a Group 3 at Deauville in May, and remains firmly on an upward curve.

    Summary: CANKOURA (1) brings the strongest credentials into this Listed contest. Runner-up in the Grade 1 New York Stakes at Saratoga when last seen in early June, she sets the standard. ALLA STELLA (6) travels over from the UK and looks the main danger, having produced several solid performances at Pattern level. INDALIMOS (2) also commands respect after finishing second in a Listed race in April and acquitting herself well in two subsequent Pattern races.

    Summary: ANOTHER LIGHT (11) should be ideally suited by this distance and arrives after a solid effort when second in a Class 2 handicap when last seen at Saint-Cloud early in June. She is given the nod over PRETTY QUEEN (5), who seems versatile distance wise and should have no issues dropping back in trip after two runs over more stiffer tests recently. HASAPIKO (2) ran a creditable race at Parislongchamp on her return from a five month break and can be on the premises. HIGHARA (7) has won two of her last three runs and can give another solid account. SEONA (4) looks best of the remainder.

    Summary: LADY MADELEINE (3) has been admirably consistent in all four starts this year and looks capable of gaining a deserved success. HAPPY LADY (7) rates the main danger after finishing fourth behind the selection at Saint-Cloud in late June and has little ground to make up. PLEASING (1) arrives on the back of consecutive victories and, despite a higher mark, cannot be ruled out. SPRING EVE (4) is another to consider and should be involved at the finish.

MAINTAIN (4) was second behind the talented Dispatches last time. Christophe Soumillon retains the ride, and she is one of the leading contenders. LA FOGATA (5) has shown decent form in Ireland this year. She is the mount of Pierre-Charles Boudot and cannot be discounted. EKLLEEL (1) is up in class but comes off an impressive victory.

He finished behind DEVIL’STORY (4) last time. FRATERNITE (14) was supplemented for this race and Christophe Soumillon rides. The combination cannot be ignored.

She has class about her and should be competitive. MATAURI BAY (2) has consistent form this year. He always gives of his best and should have a say in the outcome of this contest.

  6. MADAME ROYALE – Placed on both runs on the flat, the latest when 4th at Moulins in a conditions race on May 9. Hurdles debut and can be involved
  7. MORETHAN CURIOUS – Fair 4th over 3400m at Aix-Les Bains in a Class 3 hurdle on June 30 when last appearing. Can have a say in the finish
  8. NEWA DE JUILLEY – Filly by Silverwave, the dam won 4 races on the flat. From a respected trainer that knows the time of day. One to monitor in the betting for clues
    Summary: MONDEUSE (5) ran a good race when second at Aix Les Bains late last month in a Class 3 hurdle and has strong claims of going one place better. MARIUS (1) is better than recent form figures, and can overcome a mishap when last seen when falling at this track 13 days ago. MADAME ROYALE (6) has shown plenty of talent on the flat and is one to consider strongly on her hurdles debut. MORETHAN CURIOUS (7) was placed on the flat, and showed encouragement over hurdles late last month when fourth and looks best of the rest.

    Summary: LOUP DE FREGANDE (2) ran well at Moulins when fourth in a Class 3 chase in mid-June and can get off the mark. Her main threat could be PORZMAN (4), who was a pleasing second at Clairefontaine late in June and can once again give a good account of himself. IN MY MIND (6) won over the track and trip earlier this month and is one to pay attention to. HUNION DELABLAIRIE (1) can improve on the latest two starts and has each-way aspirations.

  25. LADY CADRAN – Filly by the Grey Gatsby, the dam won 3 races. From a stable that is not renowned for having many winners on debut and she is one to watch with the future in mind
  26. QUEENS HONOUR – Filly by Best Solution, the dam was placed once. Stable runners tend to need a run or two for experience and she is best watched on her debut
    Summary: The well-bred CHELSEA MONDAY (5) can get off to a winning start on his racecourse bow. His dam was a top-class mare who won the Moyglare Stakes (Gr.1) in Ireland and two Listed races. He can be too smart for SWEET ROSE (3), who has shown nice talent in two runs, the latter at Strasbourg in June. JACKSON BAILEYS (4) has a taking profile and is from a yard that can ready a newcomer to strike on debut, he is worth a market check, as is BALLE D’ESPRESSO (6) who is also on debut and warrants attention if there is any market influence.

LUZ JELOCA (6) remains unpredictable but has the ability to feature prominently if she stays composed. LOULOU CEMAX (4), deserves to be rewarded for her consistency and is a threat once again. LE DON JUAN (8), whose latest run was better than it looked, also has solid claims.

NIKITA D’ORGUEIL (7) showed encouragement last time out and is given a tentative preference ahead of NOBODY LOVES ME (2), who tries front shoes for the first time.

  75. KASIMODO – Only modest of late and finished 7th in a Class G at Marseille Pont De Vivaux over 2650m on 27 June. Needs to do more to beat these rivals
  76. KEOPS JUTH – Disqualified last time out in a Class F at Carpentras over 2650m on 14 July. Unreliable but might play a minor role
  77. JORDANA – Not reliable and finished 3rd in a Class G over this course and distance on 26 June. Can earn some minor money
  78. KASHMIR’S FELLA – Disqualified last time out in a Class G over this course and distance on 26 June. Hard to trust and makes little appeal
  79. KRISTINA DU CLOS – Finished 10th in a Class E at this course over 2850m on 26 June. Unreliable and others make more appeal
  80. IMPRESARIO – Was fifth in a Class G at Marseille-Borely over 3000m on 19 June. Very good form before that and can score again
    Summary: KAYAK (3) is aiming for a hat trick and should make a bold bid at taking out this lucky last race. The consistent IMPRESARIO (15), who has won his last four races on this track, should be in the mix for the win. KLEPPER DU LOIR (8) could play the role of the third contender, despite his number 8 draw behind the starting gate. JAPON DAIRPET (6), back in top form, is another that warrants respect.
