  1. TOKAIDO – Recent success in a Group 3 over 1200m at Deauville on June 27 and a win in a Listed race on his penultimate start in May. Can not be ignored
  2. KING OF CLOUGHAN – Got off the mark on his third run at Ascot (UK) in a Listed race over 1200m on June 17. Improving and can follow up
  3. BEIBHINN – Ran well to be 3rd over 1200m in the Airlie Stud Stakes (Gr.2) at the Curragh (IRL) on 27 June. Capable of another bold run
    Summary: KING OF CLOUGHAN (2) impressed when opening his account in a competitive Listed contest at Royal Ascot in June. An improving juvenile, he is taken to get the better of his two rivals. BEIBHINN (3) looks the main danger after a solid third in the Airlie Stud Stakes (Gr.2) at the Curragh on 27 June. The sole French challenger, TOKAIDO (1), arrives on a three-race winning streak, most recently landing a Group 3 at Deauville in May, and remains firmly on an upward curve.

  6. ZAKHAROVA – Won narrowly in a Class 2 race at Chantilly over 2400m on June 24 when last seen. More needed up in class
  7. MAHIYA – Finished 6th over 2800m in a Listed race on May 3 at Parislongchamp. Ought to be involved in the shake-up
  8. SOUTH BAY – Has not featured in three runs this year, the latter over 2400m at Chantilly in a Listed race over 2400m on June 14. Possibly better suited to the artificial surfaces
  9. ALLA STELLA – Finished 5th at Newcastle (PSF) when last seen over 2040m on June 26, and unplaced before that in Germany. Can be competitive
    Summary: CANKOURA (1) brings the strongest credentials into this Listed contest. Runner-up in the Grade 1 New York Stakes at Saratoga when last seen in early June, she sets the standard. ALLA STELLA (6) travels over from the UK and looks the main danger, having produced several solid performances at Pattern level. INDALIMOS (2) also commands respect after finishing second in a Listed race in April and acquitting herself well in two subsequent Pattern races.

  16. HIGHARA – Two wins in March/April and a recent 2nd over 2400m in a Class 3 handicap on her last three runs. Hard to rule out of the top three
  17. CRISTABEL – Won twice last year over 3000m, 5th on her last run at Dieppe on May 16 over the same trip in a Class 2 race. Drop in distance and it may not prove ideal
  18. MARINALEDA – Two unplaced runs recently, 7th at Saint-Cloud in a Class 2 handicap over 2400m on June 28 when last seen. Others seem in better form
  19. MISS TARKEN – Two solid efforts of late, a win in May at Saint-Cloud and a pleasing 2nd at the same track in a Class 2 handicap on June 28 over 2400m. In the mix
  20. ANOTHER LIGHT – Nice 2nd over 2000m in a Class 2 handicap at Saint-Cloud on June 2 when last seen. Lightly raced and has more to come
  21. TELCHERBOLINE – Recent win over 2400m at Limoges in a Class 4 race on May 17. More is needed in a much stronger race
  22. WEEMAGATEE – Placed on her last two runs, 4th in a Class 2 handicap at Saint-Cloud on June 28 when last appearing. Outside place claims
  23. MIYALAA – Ran well to be 3rd at Deauville on June 27 on the PSF in a Class 3 race on her last outing. Can not be ignored
  24. GUILLERETTE – Recent 6th 12 days ago in a Class 3 handicap at Chantilly over 1800m. Has to get back on track to be involved
  25. RECOLETTY – Finished 8th at Compiegne on her last run over 2800m in a Class 2 handicap on June 20. Has work to do and possibly better over a stiffer test of stamina
    Summary: ANOTHER LIGHT (11) should be ideally suited by this distance and arrives after a solid effort when second in a Class 2 handicap when last seen at Saint-Cloud early in June. She is given the nod over PRETTY QUEEN (5), who seems versatile distance wise and should have no issues dropping back in trip after two runs over more stiffer tests recently. HASAPIKO (2) ran a creditable race at Parislongchamp on her return from a five month break and can be on the premises. HIGHARA (7) has won two of her last three runs and can give another solid account. SEONA (4) looks best of the remainder.

  35. AMOR A MANI – Creditable 5th last time over 2900m at Clairefontaine in a Class 3 handicap on July 3. Can make the frame at nice odds
    Summary: LADY MADELEINE (3) has been admirably consistent in all four starts this year and looks capable of gaining a deserved success. HAPPY LADY (7) rates the main danger after finishing fourth behind the selection at Saint-Cloud in late June and has little ground to make up. PLEASING (1) arrives on the back of consecutive victories and, despite a higher mark, cannot be ruled out. SPRING EVE (4) is another to consider and should be involved at the finish.

  42. LETHAL BEAUTY – Showed promise and was third in a Conditional Listed at Chantilly over 1800m on 19 May. Has a place chance
    Summary: JENNIFER JANE (6) was disappointing in a Group 2 in Milan last time. She won her penultimate start with ease and on the form of that effort, she may be the one to beat. MAINTAIN (4) was second behind the talented Dispatches last time. Christophe Soumillon retains the ride, and she is one of the leading contenders. LA FOGATA (5) has shown decent form in Ireland this year. She is the mount of Pierre-Charles Boudot and cannot be discounted. EKLLEEL (1) is up in class but comes off an impressive victory.

    Summary: DEVIL’STORY (4) produced a strong finish when second at Clairefontaine earlier this month. He is ideally drawn in Barrier Two and can go one better. MISSES LILY (11) comes into this contest in good form. Cristian Demuro retains the ride, and she should pose a massive threat. REDOUTABLE (9) has shown good improvement in his last two starts. He finished behind DEVIL’STORY (4) last time. FRATERNITE (14) was supplemented for this race and Christophe Soumillon rides. The combination cannot be ignored.

    Summary: ERDENALI (7) has won all three of his career outings with ease. He faces his toughest test to date but receives weight and should be up to the task at hand. SILIUS (5) was narrowly beaten in Prix de la Porte Maillot and merits healthy respect. FAMILLY (6) comes off a third-place finish in the Group 3 KRA La Coupe. She has class about her and should be competitive. MATAURI BAY (2) has consistent form this year. He always gives of his best and should have a say in the outcome of this contest.

EL PEQUENIO (6) showed good signs of a form return at Parislongchamp last month. He is one of the leading contenders. AVANT NOUS (4) is consistent and always gives of his best. He is ideally drawn and merits healthy respect with Cristian Demuro aboard. EAST GREY (1) won her first outing this year. She is clearly in a good space and should be competitive.

  3. MURMURE DE MANG – Improved effort to be 4th over 2400m at Wissembourg in a Class 4 race on May 25 on the flat. Tries hurdles and he is one to consider if the betting is positive
  4. SILVER BUSINESS – Pulled up on the last two runs, the latter over 3800m at Moulins on June 14 in a claiming hurdle. Must show vast progress to be involved
  5. MONDEUSE – Ran well to be 2nd at Aix Les Bains over 3400m in a Class 3 hurdle on June 30. Looks ready to win with progress expected
  6. MADAME ROYALE – Placed on both runs on the flat, the latest when 4th at Moulins in a conditions race on May 9. Hurdles debut and can be involved
  7. MORETHAN CURIOUS – Fair 4th over 3400m at Aix-Les Bains in a Class 3 hurdle on June 30 when last appearing. Can have a say in the finish
  8. NEWA DE JUILLEY – Filly by Silverwave, the dam won 4 races on the flat. From a respected trainer that knows the time of day. One to monitor in the betting for clues
    Summary: MONDEUSE (5) ran a good race when second at Aix Les Bains late last month in a Class 3 hurdle and has strong claims of going one place better. MARIUS (1) is better than recent form figures, and can overcome a mishap when last seen when falling at this track 13 days ago. MADAME ROYALE (6) has shown plenty of talent on the flat and is one to consider strongly on her hurdles debut. MORETHAN CURIOUS (7) was placed on the flat, and showed encouragement over hurdles late last month when fourth and looks best of the rest.

  15. JAZZ BAND – Finished 6th in a claiming chase at Dieppe over 4400m on 18 June. Unlikely to trouble some of the principles
  16. JO DE BALME – Has been absent since a 2nd at Nimes in a handicap chase on September 8, 2024. Long absence to deal with and can be avoided
  17. JIRAIS AU BALLE – Made short work of rivals in a Classe 4 cross-country chase at Corlay(Petit Paris) over 4500m on 28 June. Can make the frame
  18. KASALINE DE VAUT – Failed to complete the course over 3800m in a Class 4 hurdle on May 1 at Wissembourg on her last start. Unreliable and can be avoided
    Summary: LOUP DE FREGANDE (2) ran well at Moulins when fourth in a Class 3 chase in mid-June and can get off the mark. Her main threat could be PORZMAN (4), who was a pleasing second at Clairefontaine late in June and can once again give a good account of himself. IN MY MIND (6) won over the track and trip earlier this month and is one to pay attention to. HUNION DELABLAIRIE (1) can improve on the latest two starts and has each-way aspirations.

  23. CHELSEA MONDAY – Colt by Churchill, the dam won 5 races, including 2 Listed races and a Group 1 in Ireland. Choice pedigree and from a respected trainer. Bold show can be expected on racecourse bow
  24. BALLE D’ESPRESSO – Filly by Golden Horde, the dam won 1 race. Some good aspects to her profile and she is one to consider if the betting vibes are positive
  25. LADY CADRAN – Filly by the Grey Gatsby, the dam won 3 races. From a stable that is not renowned for having many winners on debut and she is one to watch with the future in mind
  26. QUEENS HONOUR – Filly by Best Solution, the dam was placed once. Stable runners tend to need a run or two for experience and she is best watched on her debut
    Summary: The well-bred CHELSEA MONDAY (5) can get off to a winning start on his racecourse bow. His dam was a top-class mare who won the Moyglare Stakes (Gr.1) in Ireland and two Listed races. He can be too smart for SWEET ROSE (3), who has shown nice talent in two runs, the latter at Strasbourg in June. JACKSON BAILEYS (4) has a taking profile and is from a yard that can ready a newcomer to strike on debut, he is worth a market check, as is BALLE D’ESPRESSO (6) who is also on debut and warrants attention if there is any market influence.

    Summary: LADY DU JAS (1), ideally drawn, should once again be involved at the business end of the race. LUZ JELOCA (6) remains unpredictable but has the ability to feature prominently if she stays composed. LOULOU CEMAX (4), deserves to be rewarded for her consistency and is a threat once again. LE DON JUAN (8), whose latest run was better than it looked, also has solid claims.

    Summary: Much will depend on behavior in this race. NASHVILLE DREAM (3), again racing with shoes gets a narrow vote with improvement expected. NUMBER ONE BOND (6), who missed the start on debut, and could contest the finish. NIKITA D’ORGUEIL (7) showed encouragement last time out and is given a tentative preference ahead of NOBODY LOVES ME (2), who tries front shoes for the first time.

  71. JAPON DAIRPET – Victorious in a Class H at Bollene(La Levade) over 2800m on 28 June. In decent form and has a place chance
  72. IVANHOE RENKA – Finished fifth in a Class H at Bollene(La Levade) over 2800m on 28 June. capable of doing better but others are preferred
  73. KLEPPER DU LOIR – Threatening to win and was runner-up in a Class F over this track and trip on 12 July. Can be competitive once again
  74. JESSAMINA – Not reliable and was fifth in a Class E at Nimes(Les Courbiers) over 2750m on 14 June. More is needed to trouble the judge
  75. KASIMODO – Only modest of late and finished 7th in a Class G at Marseille Pont De Vivaux over 2650m on 27 June. Needs to do more to beat these rivals
  76. KEOPS JUTH – Disqualified last time out in a Class F at Carpentras over 2650m on 14 July. Unreliable but might play a minor role
  77. JORDANA – Not reliable and finished 3rd in a Class G over this course and distance on 26 June. Can earn some minor money
  78. KASHMIR’S FELLA – Disqualified last time out in a Class G over this course and distance on 26 June. Hard to trust and makes little appeal
  79. KRISTINA DU CLOS – Finished 10th in a Class E at this course over 2850m on 26 June. Unreliable and others make more appeal
  80. IMPRESARIO – Was fifth in a Class G at Marseille-Borely over 3000m on 19 June. Very good form before that and can score again
    Summary: KAYAK (3) is aiming for a hat trick and should make a bold bid at taking out this lucky last race. The consistent IMPRESARIO (15), who has won his last four races on this track, should be in the mix for the win. KLEPPER DU LOIR (8) could play the role of the third contender, despite his number 8 draw behind the starting gate. JAPON DAIRPET (6), back in top form, is another that warrants respect.
