- OPERA WOOD – Qualified in 1’19”6 at Le Mans on 13 May. With Eric Raffin as the driver he cannot be underestimated
- ORIZON – Qualified in 1’17”8 at Caen on 5 May. He is well bred and is from a stable that does well with their two-year-olds
- ONLY THE BRAVE ONE – Qualified at Le Croise-Laroche on 26 June in 1’17”4. Has a lot more to show if he is to be competitive
- OK BERTRANGE – Finished 6th in a Class F at Le Touquet over 2,100m on 14 July 2026. Will need to improve on his debut performance
- OPEN D’OAM – Not disgraced when fifth in a Class F at Bernay over 2,300m on 12 July 2026. Will need to up his game to feature
Summary: Most of the field are recent qualifiers having their first official race and on that basis OCELOT DU PONT (1) could be worth following. He qualified is a good time and is well bred. The same applies to OKAVANGO (2) who will have Benjamin Rochard as his driver. ORIZON (6) and ONYX D’AVRIL (4) both come from stables that have a good record with their youngsters so they need to be considered.

- NICOU CHAK – Showed improvement when fourth in a Class C at Enghien over 2,875m on 1 July 2026. He was putting a strong finish and needs to respected
- NOVIALO – Finished fourth in a Class C at Enghien over 2,875m on 23 June 2026. Eric Raffin rode him to victory three runs back and he will be back aboard for this race
- NOURKIS – Finished 6th in a Class C at Enghien over 2,875m on 1 July 2026. Would do well to run a place in this company
- NEED YOU MESLOIS – Excellent runner-up in a Class C at Les Sables D’Olonne over 2,775m on 27 June 2026. He is closing in on a win and with the help of Benjamin Rochard he could achieve that goal
Summary: There was a lot to like about the manner in which NEO (2) won his last start at La Capelle and there could be more to come from him. NEED YOU MESLOIS (12) is improving with each run and this race provides him with the ideal opportunity to claim a victory. NUAGE MYSTIC (5) is looking to notch up his third successive victory while NOVIALO (10) looks a threat teaming up with Eric Raffin again.

He will, however, need to see off the “Duvaldestin” pair MONTANA KALOUMA (9), whose chances depend on staying focused, and MAVERICK DE FAEL (13), who has been faultless since the beginning of his career. MERCURE D’ELLE (10) has yet to reveal his full potential and, with Benjamin Rochard in the sulky, must be regarded as a contender as well.

Summary: NOVA LUXOR (4) has been gelded after two promising runs in the spring, the latest when third at Saint-Cloud in a competitive maiden. He is given the nod over the well-bred LACE FLOWER (14), who is out of a classy mare that won a Listed and a Group 2 race and was placed in a Group 1. She will be well tuned, as will ABERDEEN (15), who has some good aspects to her profile and can have a say in the finish. KANEWKO (6) is another to consider after showing promise on debut last year.

Summary: LASKATALL (7) has been in excellent form, finishing third on all three starts this year, including a strong effort in a Group 3 AQ contest in April. This looks a good opportunity for her to break her maiden. MELEAGRINE (13) has been admirably consistent and is expected to provide the main threat. MABRISKA (9) produced her best performance of the year when runner-up at Le Lion-d’Angers in mid-May and is capable of another bold showing. MOLLY DE GASCOGNE (4) impressed when scoring at Nantes on 1 July and can be involved.
