  1. SOUS INFLUENCE – Successful in a Claimer at Salon-De-Provence over 1,800m on 17 June 2026 and two wins before that in Class 4 claimers. Hard to rule out
  2. CLEOD’OR – Has struggled of late and finished 8th in a Class 2 Handicap at Longchamp over 2,000m on 14 July 2026. 2nd in a Class 2 handicap in May. In the mix
  3. PARTENIT – Recent win over 2000m in a Class 4 race at Chantilly on turf on July 7. Can make the frame at nice odds

  7. HEMEVEZ – Only modest of late and finished 6th in a Class 3 at Longchamp over 1,400m on 15 June 2026. Drops in class and warrants respect
  8. IZASTEP – Finished 10th in a Class 2 Handicap at Saint-Cloud over 1,400m on 5 March 2026. Unlikely to be a threat
  9. GALA – Finished 15th in a Class 2 Handicap at Longchamp over 1,800m on 3 May 2026. Won on debut last year in December in a maiden on the PSF. Player
    Summary: Having won the Prix Jacques Laffitte (Listed) last year, WAKABURN (6) has been below expectations since that success. Clear top-rated he can bounce back to form in this drop into claiming class. His main threat could be GALA (9), who scored last December on the PSF on her debut and is better than her latest start in May on turf. SOUS INFLUENCE (1) has solid form in this class of race and can once again give a good account of himself. HEMEVEZ (7) heads the rest.

  15. VALIKA – Good effort to be 3rd on her debut over 1800m at Clairefontaine in a conditions on July 3. Open to progress and looks like the one to beat
  16. HAREMOTION – Fifth in a Maiden at Marseille Pont De Vivaux over 2,000m on 20 June 2026. Can step forward from the debut run although others preferred
  17. TIGER WHITE – Finished 9th on her only run over 2400m at Clairefontaine on July 6 in a conditions race. Others seem more likely to score
  18. JAMAICA BAY – Only modest of late, finishing 9th in a Maiden at Clairefontaine over 1,600m on 2 August 2025. She showed talent on debut and more can be expected
  19. LA MINCHE – Finished 7th in a Maiden at Aix Les Bains over 2,000m on 30 June 2026 on her racecourse bow. More needed to make the frame
  20. HO HOLY MOLY – Has only been modest and finished 6th in a Maiden at Saint-Cloud over 2,400m on 5 July 2026. Others make more appeal
  21. TWICKENHAM – Colt by Madhmoon, the dam won 1 race. Likely to improve for this run and he is best watched with the future in mind
  22. SQUARE DU CROISIC – Gelding by Romanised, the dam never raced in France. From a stable that can produce plenty of first time out winners. One to consider if the betting market is lively
  23. RITZY ROXY – Filly by Persian King, the dam won 1 race. Stable runners warrant respect on debut and she is worth monitoring in the betting for any market support
  24. CHARMYE – Filly by Charm Spirit, the dam never raced in France. Stable runners tend to need a run or two to reach full fitness, and she is best watched for the time being
    Summary: VALIKA (6) showed plenty of promise on her debut at Clairefontaine earlier this month and is expected to improve significantly on that performance, making her the one to beat. Her main danger could be MEMORY (1), who has finished in the placings in two of his three starts. The step up in trip today should suit him well. EXISTANT (4) is capable of improving on his April effort at Saint-Cloud and has solid each-way claims. JAMAICA BAY (9) also showed promise on her sole start last year and is expected to be well prepared for her return following a lengthy absence.

  27. MENNULA – Outclassed the opposition in a Maiden at Chantilly over 2,400m on 19 June 2026 by two lengths. Has to improve further to make the frame
  28. BRIGHT MILLIE – Won in a Class 2 at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat over 1,600m on 15 June 2026. Improving with race experience and deserves a crack at a Listed race
  29. CITY QUEEN – Recent 3rd at Chester (UK) over 2050m in a conditions race on June 27. She makes the trip over from the UK and warrants respect
  30. GRANDE BAIGNEUSE – Nice win on debut over 1900m at Chantilly on February 19 on the PSF in a conditions race. She has been given time and looks like a nice prospect
  31. SANGOMAR – Victorious in a Maiden at Compiegne over 1,800m on 20 June 2026. Faces a much stiffer test and can be opposed
  32. VANTA – Fourth in a Class 1 at Lyon-Parilly over 2,400m on 30 May 2026. Among the leading contenders
  33. VILLANESQUE – Finished 3rd over 2000m in a conditions race at Karlovy Vary (CZE) on July 12 when last seen. Unlikely to trouble some of these
  34. BLANCHE DE MEDICIS – Not disgraced when fifth in a Group 3 at Chantilly over 2,400m on 31 May 2026. Ought to be involved in the shake-up
    Summary: HATANKA FAL (2) was a decent third in the Prix de Royaumont (Gr.3) when last appearing and was a pleasing second before that in a Listed race in April. She can be too smart for GRANDE BAIGNEUSE (6), who looked like a useful performer when winning on her sole start in February on the PSF. BLANCHE DE MEDICIS (10) is also worth attention after two good efforts in Group 3 races, with a third on her penultimate start at Saint-Cloud in April. CITY QUEEN (5) makes the trip form the UK and is another to pay attention to.

    Summary: JAYCLE DE GREE (1) has been consistent at this level and is the tentative selection despite conceding weight to his rivals. LOFSONGUR ISLANDE (12) looks the main threat after two solid placed efforts, the latest a third-place finish at Nantes in June. EXCESSIVENESS (4) arrives in winning form following a success at Angers in early June and has strong each-way claims. DICX (2) also merits consideration and looks the best of the remainder.

    Summary: Narrowly beaten at ParisLongchamp earlier this month, PARVA SCURRA (8) could make a bold bit at beating these rivals. DIYAA (7) has been knocking on the door in recent weeks and will once again be a major threat. KISS QUEEN (15) continues to perform consistently well and rates as one of the main contenders, alongside BECH RIVER (10), who returns to the scene of his last victory.

    Summary: Impeccable since joining Christophe Escuder’s yard, MARIE DE PRUSSE (6) deserves to see her consistency rewarded. ROLEXXA (4), convincing on two occasions at Strasbourg, clearly has the ability to bounce back. M’GLAMOUR (2) has run well in her last three outings and should once again be competitive. REVENTADOR (5), entrusted to Maxime Guyon is also capable of getting involved with the finish.

    Summary: In sparkling form, NYMPHEAS (3) will be aiming for a fourth consecutive victory, even though the opposition looks slightly stronger this time. Well treated at the bottom of the weights, TIKI DREAMS (7) appears dangerous on her first attempt in a claiming race. Ultra-consistent, LE DOC (1) can once again make his presence felt despite carrying top weight. The German raider STARRY SKY (5), partnered by Pierre-Charles Boudot, also commands respect.

    Summary: Noticed in his return at Tarbes, BLACK ULTRA (11) then cruised to victory at ParisLongchamp, confirming his progress. This imposing colt has clearly matured and returns to major handicaps stronger than ever. Capable of making the running, he could go all the way under Anthony Crastus. GUINESS STAR (9), improving after a long absence and now back to a competitive mark, commands respect, especially as a dual winner over staying trips last year. A model of consistency, SPANISH PRINCE (4) will attract plenty of support despite a wide draw. STEP MORNING (1), proven at this level, also has solid claims.

VITUS BERING (7) performed better than his finishing position suggests at Aix-les-Bains and shapes as the main threat. In peak condition, BEAUTIFOAL (2) also has strong claims. Back on turf, J’AURAIS DU (1) could make the frame.

  49. MILLENIUM JOSSELYN – Made amends for La Capelle elimination when runner-up in a Class E at Feurs over 2100m on 3 July. Has taken his game up a notch since starting to race in current configuration and is unlikely to be far off the mark
  50. MARQUIS DE MALAC – Lost his way after winning at Chartres in April, but ran reassuring 2nd in a Class F at Cherbourg over 2625m on 14 June and, winner on sole start with Francois Lagadeuc, can keep that fact relevant
    Summary: MARQUIS DE MALAC (11), barefoot and ideally-engaged, has the class to win a race of this nature provided he stays in stride, as does MYSTIC DE BLARY (8) and the same caveat applies. They are preferred to MILLENIUM JOSSELYN (10), who is capable of giving them plenty to think about. MUSTANG DE REUX (9), whose latest effort was encouraging, could spoil the party.

  63. LIVERPOOL DU TAY – Outclassed the opposition in a Class F at Plestin Les Greves over 2,600m on 5 July. Tougher task but might well double up
    Summary: LAUTREC CARISAIE (11) was impressive when winning at Cherbourg last month and will aim to follow up. He will need to see off LIVERPOOL DU TAY (14), an authoritative winner earlier this month. LA BELLE DE BEYLEV (9), reunited with Benjamin Rochard after a solid third-place finish together on June 19th, is competitive. LAUREL (10), who will be fully shod in an effort to get back on track is another that can shine.

    Summary: Benefiting from a formidable training regime, MALIN DU LUPIN (10) is a serious contender for victory, as is MUSTANG HAUFOR (4), who has been knocking on the door. MY BOY D’ANJOU (2) arrives here after an easy success and should be closely monitored on his return to a hard track. MON BELLO ROMAIN (1) showed plenty of toughness when winning on his comeback and could take another step forward this time.

    Summary: There are several possibilities in this competitive and evenly matched field. MARVELA DU DUDY (6), consistent and a recent runner-up over this course, looks a reliable contender. However, she will need to be at her best to beat MALICE D’ENFER (2), who made a strong impression in her two June outings, and MEDIEVALE (13), who is capable of winning even when racing shod. MIDINETTE DU YUCCA (1), who has improved steadily since the beginning of the year, also has claims.

  94. NARCOTIC THRUST – Successful in a Class D at Vichy over 2,950m on 30 June. Tougher task this time but might earn some minor money
    Summary: A very interesting lucky last race. NINA ROSE (2) has excelled under saddle in her last two outings but also possesses plenty of ability in harness and should play a leading role here. She will face strong opposition from NOTRE FLIBUSTE (5), who finished strongly to score a month ago. NEVER ON TIME (3) needed her comeback run and, racing with all four shoes on, is expected to show improvement. NABAD DU ROCHER (6), dropping in class, also can get into the mix of things.
