R1 VINCENNES [L-H]
C1 – PRIX DES CEVENNES – 2850m (a2m) – – Harness – EUR € 90,000
- KARAMBAR – Second in a Class B at Feurs over 2,850m on 7 September. Is confirmed at this level but would have better prospects a category down
- HUBBLE DU VIVIER – Starts for the first time since winning a Group III over course and distance on 10 January and is going to need the run
- JINGLE DU PONT – Unplaced in a Group III at Reims over 2,550m on 14 October when being prepared for this. Has not put a foot wrong for some time and is unlikely to be far off the mark
- HARMONY DU RABUTIN – Finished 5th in a Class E Amateurs’ conditioner at Alencon over 2,625m on 18 October. Has been reconfigured for return to the capital and can get a look in
- HULYSSE DIGEO – Finished 5th in a Group III at Argentan over 2,875m on 23 September. Is no champion but regularly gives what he can and, on that basis, deserves to pick up some prizemoney
- JUSTIN BOLD – Disqualified in last two starts, the latest at Mons over 2,840m on 5 February. Has not been seen out since and is not about to create an upset
- HANNIBAL TUILERIE – Fourth at Mons over 2,300m on 24 October. Can trot but is out of his depth here and will have little to offer
- JABALPUR – Unplaced in a Group III at Laval over 2,850m on 30 September, when preparing for this. Will be fully fit by now and can give KRACK TIME ATOUT (12) a run for his money
- KAPAULA DE L’EPINE – Finished 6th in a monte Group III over 2,850m here on 20 September and will have other priorities
- HARLEY GEMA – Disqualified in Group I UET Elite Circuit Final over 2,100m in Turin on 11 October. Is not the most generous of mares but can trot and will generate some interest
- HORCHESTRO – Finished 5th in a Group III at Feurs over 2,850m on 16 September. Is plainly in fine shape and has solid prospects of trotting his way into the frame
- KRACK TIME ATOUT – Fifth in Group I UET Elite Circuit Final over 2,100m in Turin on 11 October, continuing a solid run of form. Has nothing to prove in this class and has every chance of imposing
- IGUSKI SAUTONNE – Has not been seen out since winning Group I Gr Crit Vitesse de la Cote d’Azur at Cagnes-sur-Mer over 1,609m on 8 March. Is shod this time and best to keep one’s powder dry
- INMAROSA – Finished 5th in a Group III at Laval over 2,850m on 30 September. Has not won for some time but is ideally-entered here and Leo Abrivard will be eager to make hay
Summary: Triple Gr.1 winner here, KRACK TIME ATOUT (12) was by no means disgraced in the Gr.1 UET final in Turin. He relishes these longer trips over the main track and has a good opportunity to get back in the winners’ circle. JABALPUR (8), however, is barefoot following a pair of fresheners and heads the opposition, alongside HORCHESTRO (11), whose Feurs re-entry augurs well for his prospects, and INMAROSA (14), who connections could not have wished for a better engagement. JINGLE DU PONT (3) is barefoot following his Reims conditioner and can hold his own here.

C2 – PRIX DE FOUILLOY – 2100m (a1m1/4) – – Harness – EUR € 35,000 - NEW DELHI HAUFOR – Made it two in a row when successful in a Class F at Savenay over 2,600m on 27 September. Has earned the right to race here and is unlikely to return home empty-handed
- NOVA JOSSELYN – Finished 9th in a Class B over 2,100m of the main track on 9 October. Will appreciate the more even surface and from the 2 slot looks a major player
- NAOMI DE LA VALLEE – Finished 10th in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,725m on 1 October, 19 days after having run 2nd at Ecommoy, and will first need to reassure
- NUANCE DE STAR – Disqualified in a Class E at Vire over 2,800m on 6 September. Is capricious but not devoid of ability and Antoine Dabouis will be eager to take advantage of the good draw
- NORIEGA – Victorious in a Class F at Rambouillet over 2,000m on 11 October. Is arguably better on turf but has been climbing the category-ladder in good order and the engagement of Benjamin Rochard will only help her cause. First five
- NEBELINE LEMAN – Unplaced in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,725m on 1 October. Is competitively-shod this time but still out of her depth
- NEW FAIRY – Third in a Class D at Enghien over 2,150m on 7 October. Is an exciting future prospect and can win this if Alexandre Abrivard keeps her focused
- NESTA DE VANDEL – Surprisingly lacklustre 6th in a Class E at Vire over 2,800m on 6 September. Should not be too hastily-condemned though and Alexis Collette will be keen to put things right
- NEWMARKET – Disqualified in a Class E over 2,700m here on 18 September. Has pulled a rough number but will be reunited with Eric Raffin and, with application, will be no pushover
- NEW GIRL DU CHENE – Finished 5th in a Class E at Enghien over 2,150m on 26 September. Appears to have turned a corner recently and can play a small part if Paul Ploquin keeps her mind on the game
- NESSENCE – Finished 10th in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,750m on 24 October. Is clearly better than the result would suggest but the draw will not help matters
- NIMOSA – Unplaced in a Class E at Laval over 2,850m on 24 September. Does not have conditions to her liking here and can be passed over
- NACRE GLAM – Disqualified in last two, the latest a Class E at Enghien over 2,250m on 8 October. Has merit but others still easier to trust
- NOUMEA DES FLOTS – Unplaced, on re-entry, in a Class D at Enghien over 2,150m on 7 October. Has little going for her this time and best to wait
- NOOR DE MONCHEL – Third in a Class F at Le Croise-Laroche over 2,825m on 14 September. Sprang something of a surprise that day and, given the draw, is unlikely to repeat
Summary: Having run well at Enghien last time, the well-bred NEW FAIRY (7) looks good enough to impose on her Vincennes debut. NOVA JOSSELYN (2), with two runs under her belt, NEWMARKET (9), provided she keeps her action together, and the hat-trick-seeking NEW DELHI HAUFOR (1), who sports pads for the first time, are also in with a shout.

C3 – PRIX D’EMBRUN – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 40,000 - MANNINEN SEVEN – Has not been seen out since coming 5th in a Class B over course and distance on 20 February and is going to need the race
- MARCUS BERRY – Disqualified in a Class D at Enghien over 2,150m on 5 October. Is useful on a good day but is still not a concern
- MOZART DU DOLLAR – Finished 9th in a Class B at Chartres over 2,800m on 15 October. Is in race-mode this time but chances still seem slim
- MY DREAM – Unplaced in a Class C over course and distance on 13 October. Will be reunited with Eric Raffin for the occasion but is still not a leading contender
- MADISON SEVEN – Unplaced, when being prepared for this, in a Class C over course and distance on 13 October. Is in race-mode on this occasion and should logically take all the beating
- MAESTRO VET – Was unable to secure the three-timer when 3rd in a Class C under these conditions on 27 September. Is barefoot as he was when successful at La Capelle last month and should be afforded respect
- MAESTRO JAMINI – Third in a Class C over track and trip on 13 October. Has never failed to deliver in present profile but still has more to find
- MAGIC JOHN – Fourth in a Class C over course and distance on 27 September. With different tactics could have finished closer and Pierre-Yves Verva will be keen to set the record straight
- MANY DREAMS – Successful in a Class D at Enghien over 2,150m on 5 October, and with Alexis Collette back in the bike will be afforded every chance. First five
- MATADOR – Reassuring second in a Class C at Caen over 2,450m on 18 October. Has yet to deliver over 2700m but has previously won here and a similar performance would see him finish close once more
- MILAN DU BOSQUET – Finished 9th in a Class B at Laval over 2,850m on 30 September. Has won twice in 3 barefoot starts and should prove competitive when push comes to shove
- MAESTRO DU CHOQUEL – Has been disqualified in 4 consecutive starts, the latest a Class C at Enghien over 2,875m on 6 August. Tends to prefer a more even surface and is not an obvious choice
Summary: Unbeaten in two starts last winter, MADISON SEVEN (5) is competitively-shod for his first objective of the season and will be well-backed to impose. MILAN DU BOSQUET (11), racing barefoot this time, also faces his first test of the meeting and, together with MATADOR (10), can apply the pressure. Unlucky here a month back, the tough MAGIC JOHN (8) is capable of finishing closer.

C4 – PRIX D’AUBAGNE – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 40,000 - NEW SPIRIT – Successful in a Class E at Lisieux over 2,100m on 17 August. Has not raced since though and can expect to find this a tough test
- NEW DOLLAR – Finished 5th on comeback in a Class D at Enghien over 2,875m on 12 October. Is plainly in competition mode this time and could well take his win-rate to 75 percent
- NOBLE SUPREME – Disqualified in a Class B at Les Sables D’Olonne over 2,775m on 19 October. Is seldom far from faulting, but has a big motor and, with application, will be no soft touch
- NAPOLEON AS – Finished 7th in a Group III at Vincennes over 2,700m on 27 September, his first appearance since early-July. Is reunited with JMB who will be expecting to get straight back down to business
- NEW LOOK SENOVILLE – Fourth in a Class D at Cabourg over 2,050m on 14 October. Has yet to get off the mark and is not about to this time either
- NICOLO DE FELLIERE – Third in a Class D over 2,100m here on 6 October. Has turned a corner since being associated with Anthony Barrier and debuts on the main track with a potentially good hand to play
- NUNCHI – Gave a good account on re-entry when third in a Class D at Enghien over 2,875m on 12 October. Has shown considerable promise, sports front pads for the first time, and will not be far from the action if he takes to the new conditions
- NICKY DU VERGER – Ran 6th in a Class C at Caen over 2,450m on 10 October. Is the obvious weak link here and can be ruled out
- NOUGAYORQUE – Disqualified in a Class B at Le Croise-Laroche over 2,800m on 30 September. Is not the worst horse here but is not a concern either
- NAMOUR DAB – Unplaced, on re-entry, in a Class D at Laval over 2,850m on 30 September. Front pads fitted for first objective of the year and should not be underestimated
- NICKEL DU GOUTIER – Has not been seen out since being disqualified in a Class B at Vichy over 2,950m on 25 August but is in race-mode, will be partnered by Eric Raffin, and can play a role if he turns
- NOBEL DE PAIL – Finished 4th in a Class D under these conditions on 22 September. Benefits from a good entry but may just be taking on too much this time
Summary: In the hands of Jean-Michel Bazire, NAPOLEON AS (4) bolted up at Vichy this summer and, after a necessary comeback run, can repeat. NEW DOLLAR (2), fitted with 4 pads for the first time, and NOBLE SUPREME (3), also reconfigured, will be his main rivals. The well-regarded NAMOUR DAB (10) is also competitively-shod and should not be underestimated.

C5 – PRIX D’AVESNES – 2850m (a2m) – – Mounted – EUR € 53,000 - TREND – Makes French debut after being disqualified over 2140m in Gothenburg over 2 months ago. Is barefoot for the occasion but will have little to contribute
- OLIVER SCHERMER – Most impressive winner of a 2875m Enghien harness Class D 3.5 weeks ago. Will not be available at 22-1 this time and will be no easy touch if Paul Ploquin keeps him trotting
- LEMPICKA SEPT – Disqualified in a Class E at Laval over 2,850m on 10 September. Should be fully-fit by now though and can play a small part if she keeps trotting
- LEDETROIT CHENOU – Put on a good show before being disqualified in a Class C over 2,700m here on 22 September. Boasts a superb monte record and Benjamin Rochard has every chance of putting things right
- KINGSTON (DEN) – Quality Swedish raider that ran close 2nd, on monte bow, in a 2700m Class D here on 6 October. Mathieu Mottier aboard again and winning this is well within charge’s capability
- MISTER LION – Finished 9th in a Class D at Laval over 2,850m on 30 September. Has done nothing noteworthy for some time and is not about to start now
- LITTLE DAIDOU – Fourth in a Class C over 2,700m here on 22 September. Is not the easiest of horses to handle and cannot be considered a player
- LOOKING D’AURCY – Finished 9th in a harness Class B at Vincennes over 2,700m on 13 October. Boasts a 75 percent monte win-rate and Alexandre Abrivard will be justifiably confident of another big run
- LUNGA DES BROUSSES – Unplaced in a harness Class C over course and distance on 9 October. Sports modified shoeing for monte debut but others still easier to back
- LILOU D’ATOUT – Successful in a Class C over 2,700m here on 25 September. Has won 4 of 9 monte starts and, even though untried over 2850m here, will be fitted with a new profile and cannot be discounted
- LUKAS D’OLIVERIE – Oddly below-par 7th in a Class C at Vincennes over 2,700m on 13 October. Gave a fine account on comeback 3 weeks earlier and ought to be taken seriously
- LELIA FRANCE – Ran 7th in a Group II over 2,700m here on 9 October, a fortnight after running 2nd in a 2700m Class C here, and will be expected to bounce back and finish in the mix
Summary: Now in training with Charley Mottier, and winner of 3 of 4 with Benjamin Rochard, LEDETROIT CHENOU (4) is easy to fancy for the spoils. LOOKING D’AURCY (8), barefoot for his first target of the season, KINGSTON (5), who left quite the impression on his French debut, and the recently-revitalised OLIVER SCHERMER (2), will provide strong opposition.

- KEY LADY – Starts for the first time since finishing fifth in a Class A at Cagnes-sur-Mer over 2,925m on 22 August and will have other priorities
- KNOCKONWOOD – Successful in a Class C at Caen over 2,450m on 10 October. Steps up in category, and is never far from faulting, but is still worth retaining
- KOMPANY VINCENT – Finished 3rd in a Group III over 2,850m here on 22 September. Is difficult to ignore when focused and looks a major player
- KESITO D’URVILLE – Was unable to secure the hat-trick when 4th in a Class E at Angouleme over 2,750m on 4 October. Takes on a better bunch here but, in current condition, is easy to recommend for a first-five payout
- KENO PETTEVINIERE – Makes first appearance since finishing 12th in a Class A at Cagnes-sur-Mer over 2,925m on 22 August and can be passed over
- KROONER D’HERIPRE – Has not been seen out since finishing 5th in a Group III at Marseille-Borely over 3,000m on 25 March and will need the run
- KOUFRA IRIS’EYES – Fifth in a Class B over course and distance on 27 September. Is plainly in good shape and even though stepping up in category, cannot be discounted
- KIKA JOSSELYN – Fourth in a Class B over course and distance on 27 September. Is a tough individual with nothing to prove at this level and can turn the tables on KANO (12)
- KANO – Third in a Class B under these conditions on 27 September. Is in his category here and has a reasonable chance of imposing this time
- KISS ME HONEY – Finished 5th in a Group III over 2,850m here on 22 September. Has ground to make up but is no slouch on a good day and must not be overlooked
- KEMIA DU CHENE – Finished 7th in a Class C over track and trip on 17 September. Is nicely-engaged here and, although unlikely to impose, can nevertheless finish in the mix
Summary: KANO (12) finished third ahead of KIKA JOSSELYN (11) under these conditions on 27 September. The latter can improve on that performance and turn the tables on her rival. Good third in the Gr.3 Prix Emile Bezière, KOMPANY VINCENT (6) can again target a podium finish. Unlucky on her latest start, KEMIA DU CHENE (14) also has the means to play a role at the business end of affairs.

- LEADER BOY – Secured the hat-trick when victorious in a Class E at Angers over 3,125m on 9 September. Is in conditioning-mode this time though and best to keep one’s powder dry
- LEXINGTON DANICA – Unplaced in a Class D at Vichy over 2,950m on 4 May. Has not been seen since and is going to need the race
- LE METEQUE – Fifth in a Class D over 2,850m here on 25 September. Takes on a much better lot this time and chances appear limited
- LE BIEF – Ran 7th in a Class C over 2,850m here on 9 October. Is undeniably capable but in this category will have too much to do
- LAST DES BROUSSES – Ran 7th in a Class B at Chartres over 2,800m on 15 October. Is shod as he was when successful at La Capelle in July and will have his supporters
- LE LAUREAT DU PARC – Successful in a Class C at Toulouse over 2,950m on 25 September. Is easier to trust going clockwise though and others preferred
- LETIKALIN – Finished 14th in a Class C over 2,850m here on 9 October. Is confirmed under these conditions but will first need to reassure
- LOCO FLIGNY – Finished 12th in a Class C over 2,850m here on 9 October. Has been out of sorts since returning to competition and can be ruled out
- LOOK MESLOIS – Disqualified in a Class C over 2,850m here on 9 October. Is plainly in form, Mathieu Mottier stays faithful, and should be taken seriously
- LIQUIDATEUR – Third in a Class C over 2,850m here on 9 October, making up for a pair of eliminations and, sporting the same profile, can again finish close
- LORD DE BRION – Runner-up in a Class D over 2,850m here on 25 September. Has not put a foot out of line for the past four months and even though stepping up in category looks a decent first-five chance
- LOUISON – Won a Class D at Challans over 2,900m on 11 October. Has won 2 of last 3, Eric Raffin keeps the faith, but looks no more than a minor place prospect this time
- LEVEL ONE SYGA – Unplaced in a Class C over course and distance on 18 September. Has otherwise been in decent shape and can pick up a cheque
- LOYAL DU CHOQUEL – Finished 5th in a Class C over course and distance on 18 September. Is better than recent figures would suggest and, with form maintained, can challenge for the win
- LE BOLIDE – Disqualified in a Class B at Chartres over 2,800m on 15 October. Regularly bites off more than he can chew and this is no exception
- LIKE MESLOIS – Runner-up in a Class C over 2,850m here on 9 October. Has been knocking at the door and, considering the entry, is thoroughly capable of getting his head in front this time
- LEXCELLENT DU METZ – Finished 3rd in a Class C course and distance on 18 September. Benefits from a fine entry and, on good behaviour, is unlikely to let the side down
Summary: In this open race, LIKE MESLOIS (17), currently in excellent form, LOYAL DU CHOQUEL (15), who caught the eye last time, and LIQUIDATEUR (11), spirited but in fine condition, can all contest the finish. LEXCELLENT DU METZ (18) reassured here recently and on good behaviour can get in on the action, as can LOOK MESLOIS (10) who still had plenty in the tank when disqualified here three weeks ago.

- IRISH NICE ELGE – Fifth in a Class C over 2,850m here on 9 October, 3 weeks after winning a Class C under these conditions. Benjamin Rochard reins this time and can be justifiably confident of a competitive performance
- JIPET DE CREPIN – Finished 7th in a Class C at Caen over 2,200m on 18 October. Was denied a run that day and can set the record straight if kept out of harm’s way
- INFERNO PIPER – Finished 9th, on comeback, in a Class B at Marseille-Borely over 3,000m on 2 October. Is still being conditioned and best to hold off

- HEUREUX DE FLEUR – Finished 6th in a Group III at Reims over 2,550m on 14 October. Appears to be getting back on track and is not one to be overlooked
- JACOMO BELLO – Finished 5th in a Group III at Reims over 2,550m on 14 October. Is battle-hardened, always game, and can be considered a decent first-five chance
- ILEO PIERJI – In the frame in last two, most recently 3rd in a Class C over 2,850m here on 9 October. Has won twice for Anthony Barrier and can give this a good go
Summary: Unlucky at Caen recently, JIPET DE CREPIN (5) has a good opportunity to return to winning ways. To do so though, he will have to beat a reconfigured JOYCE DELTO (9), who acquitted herself well in the Trophée Vert Final, and JASON (7), who won the Caen race in question. IRISH NICE ELGE (4) sports 4 pads for the first time and will have his chances if he can replicate his penultimate performance.

C1 – PRIX WWW.COURSESCHEVAUX.FR – 4600m (a3m) – TURF – Class 3 – Cross – EUR € 24,000
- PARAY – Outclassed the opposition at Nancy over 5,000m on 27 September in a Class 4 Conditions Cross-Country Chase. Leading contender
- JUNGLE VILLE – Finished 2nd at Castera-Verduza over 4,900m on 27 September in a Class 3 Conditions Cross-Country Chase. Can make the frame
- EVER FASTER – Victorious at Nuille-Sur-Vicoin over 4,250m on 12 October in a Class 5 Conditions Cross-Country Chase. Seeking a hat-trick and can play a lead role
- HILLICO CONTI – Failed to complete the course in a Class 3 cross-country chase over 4600m on October 3 at this track. Placed form last year over track and trip. Among the leading chances
- AMILY – Won on her last start over 5200m at Vittel in a Class 3 cross-country chase on August 30. Others rate higher
- KARMIX – Second at Nancy over 5,000m on 27 September in a Class 4 Conditions Cross-Country Chase. In the mix
- CHOEUR DE MESC – Fourth at Fontainebleau over 4,600m on 3 October in a Class 3 Condition Cross-Country Chase. He might find a few too smart
Summary: PARAY (1) seems to be on an upward curve and won well on his latest start at Nancy in a Class 4 cross-country late in September. His main threat could be EVER FASTER (3), who is seeking a hat-trick after a four length success at Nuille-Sur-Vicoin earlier this month in a Class 5 cross-country race. HILLICO CONTI (4) fell on his latest start at this track and with a clear round of jumping today he is one to take seriously. KARMIX (6) looks best of the remainder.

- TAJMALY – Runner-up at Compiegne over 3,400m on 19 October over hurdles in a Claiming event. Can be competitive
- SAINTE HELENE – Fifth at Auteuil over 3,600m on 11 October in a Listed Chase, winning hurdler in July at Senonnes in a Class 2 race. Not to be taken lightly
- NOUMEA DES CHAMPS – In good form and finished 3rd at Fontainebleau over 3,600m on 3 October in a Class 4 Conditions Chase. Lightly raced and warrants respect
- NOLINA BELLA – Finished 8th at Dax over 3,500m on 20 September in a Class 5 Conditions Hurdle. Chasing debut and others more persuasive
- VELVET VOLGA – Non partante
- ALBERTINE – Unplaced at Auteuil over 3,500m on 6 October over in a Class 2 Conditions Hurdle and 2nd before that in a Class 3 hurdle on August 17. Makes her chasing bow and has leading claims
Summary: ALBERTINE (8) has the size and scope to make a successful chasing debut after finishing a respectable second in a Class 3 hurdle at Clairefontaine two runs ago. NIMITZ (1) looks the main danger despite finding a Listed chase at Auteuil too demanding in early October. TAJMALY (3), runner-up on his last two hurdle starts, could also make an impact over fences for the first time, while SAINTE HELENE (4) is another to consider.
