This ‘Dance’ is about timing and the ‘King’ is in waiting!

Dance And Glance pl – 5.35

sticks out like a sore thumb for the eight-runner National Hunt Flat Race over two miles of ‘good to soft’ Plumpton this afternoon and so, once again I’ve descended on a ‘Bumper’ opportunity.
They are proving fantastic price-wise and even in defeat with the each-way proviso it’s possible to win selections lose; take for example last Thursday at Huntingdon where My Boy Aaron, our selection, finished a somewhat unlucky second at 25/1 on Betfair.
At a quarter of the odds (4/1, after deducting the single stake), it was possible to run ‘Aaron’ into another placed runner, Rashabar, and gain considerable benefit fiscally.
Mine is not to look for winners, moreso peruse each race-programme one at a time and usually it’s possible to unearth opportunities; obviously some are much better than others but my brief is to supply daily Trixies which merit inclusion.
It’s a business-like approach to serious betting for readers, I’m long past punting to make a living but get tremendous satisfaction from knowing readership is profiting from the vast experience of an octogenarian, still keen on the ‘Sport Of Kings’ of our English racing scene.
I’ve been to several different countries and enjoyed racing, which brings us all together in a unique way, but thoroughbreds performing in this great country remain second to none and it will always be the case. It’s the wholesale character of our set-up even though plenty, including myself, have consistent grouse to proffer..
Someone once mentioned racing journalism ‘is better than working!; how wrong they were, although this has been a labour of love for decades I’ve ‘worked’ fastidiously on making a fist of my time-handicap. Not only did I once take times with a stop-watch but subsequently came the task of deciphering them for going allowances, race comments (mine!) for future articles.
Once-raced Dance And Glance should just be a question of going down and coming back under Ben Godfrey who will be ‘legged’ up by prolific trainer Anthony Honeyball whose wife, Rachel Green, assists in his set-up and was a very good amateur jockey.
