Big prices make for so much excitement , and huge profit!

This time last week Royal Ascot was foremost in the minds of all horse-racing folk and mention was made of the difficulties posed finding winners among the minefields but, in the knowledge, the harder you work, the luckier you become we enjoyed two brief dalliances and they need to be highlighted given my purpose is always to profit monthly.
We went a long way towards the objective.
My ‘System’ is all about never betting horses at less than 3/1 for so many obvious reasons; Maw Lam and Brian went off at 50’s and 28/1 respectively.
Improvisation and implementation from experience have taught me to realise the benefit of getting placed, especially nowadays with so many off-course ‘on-line’ offers from bookmakers who are fervently competing for your business.
Bookmakers always win in such circumstances because the marginalised odds suit their industry but mine is to exploit situations to advantage.
The aforementioned duo represented two ‘win’ bets at 9/1 and 5/1 after deductions of the win stakes but they weren’t flukes and indeed the former really should have won but for being obstructed as she came from last of a big field to be third.
The improvisation resulted in genuine ‘System’ profits and so don’t be put off by big prices, I made a big impression on my fiscal needs through decades by wading into ‘super odds!’
As for the each-way Trixie it’s necessary to achieve placings for doubles/trebles and why so often I’ll shove in a ridiculous ‘shortie’ to compliment other selections, often at huge prices.
Over decades I’ve maintained our major fixtures are really tough but often it’s possible to find a winner or two with patience; the above ‘winners’ proved my point precisely.
Stick to such reasoning through thick and thin, every month.
Most important inclusion in my column are selections, not words!
Typically speculative are
Cindysox NA – 3.00
in the Novices’ Hurdle over 22 furlongs of ‘good’ Newton Abbot, an improving mare, and
Tower Of Africa BE – 2.17
in a shallow juvenile 7 furlongs race at Beverley; trainer Gemma Tutty is a terrific, burgeoning talent!
