R1 VINCENNES [L-H]
C1 – PX PMU D’ILE-DE-FRANCE (PX DE L’EURE) – 2850m (a2m) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 59,000
- CHESTNUT (SWE) – Makes Vincennes debut after winning 2 of last 3, latterly over 2609m at Orebro on 19 October, and will be no easy touch if he takes to the new profile. Attention
- COLBERT WF – Excellent 3rd of 13 in a 2100m Class C here mid-November. Takes on a better bunch this time though and not an obvious choice
- MISTER DONALD – Out of the picture in last 3, most recently 9th of 15 to VERSACE FACE (9) in a 2100m Class D a fortnight ago, and can be passed over
- SANTOS DE CASTELLA – Unlucky 10th of 14 behind BITCOIND’ARC (7) in a 2150m Mauquenchy Class D 2.5 weeks ago. Has ample ability but may just need another run
- CARLOFORTE FONT – Quality trotter that caught the eye when 3rd of 15 in a 2100m Class C here on 29 October. Seldom puts a foot wrong and has a realistic chance of contesting the finish
- GAMIN NORMAND – Last but one, on return to competition, in a 2700m Class D here last weekend. Shoes on again and not a player
- BITCOIND’ARC – Good, consistent type that ran 2nd of 14 in a 2150m Mauquenchy Class D 2.5 weeks ago. Placed over course and distance in September and although not a priority is still worth monitoring
- HERMES LUDOIS – 7th of 11 in a 2700m Machecoul Class E on 3 November. Stays shod and can be disregarded
- VERSACE FACE – Opened Vincennes account at first time of asking, comfortably winning a 2100m Class D a fortnight ago. Goes over any trip and once again looks the horse to beat
- BEAT GENERATION – Returns to Vincennes after finishing 6th of 10 over 2140m under the saddle in Gothenburg late-September. Reunited with Raffin after more than 2 years and will be assured every chance. Place prospect
- INTOUCHABLE – 3rd of 11 in a 2850m Laval Class E a fortnight ago. Has never delivered over 2850m here but with Yoann Lebourgeois reining, must be respected
- INDIGO PIERJI – 2nd over 2700m here late-October before coming 4th, a place behind INTOUCHABLE (11), in a 2850m Laval Class E a fortnight ago. Enjoys an excellent entry and will be expected to finish in the mix
Summary: After coming to France off the back of serious form at home in the nordics, VERSACE FACE (9) made short work of her Vincennes debut and has every chance of repeating. That said, the consistent CARLOFORTE FONT (5) has never let the side down in Paris and in present form is very easy to like. BEAT GENERATION (10) may not have been seen out for just over 2 months but he is barefoot with Eric Raffin in the bike and is patently in competition-mode. Excellent at home in Sweden, CHESTNUT (SWE) (1) benefits from an Alexnadre Abrivard drive for her Vincennes bow and can make a big splash.

C2 – FINALE DU GRAND NATIONAL DES AMATEURS – 2850m (a2m) – Class E Amateur Drivers Race – Harness – EUR € 17,000 - IRELAND TEAM – 6th of 11 in a 2500m Reims Class G a week ago. Has no love for the amateur division and can be disregarded
- INCOGNITO – Superb in 5 amateur events before missing the break and running 9th of 12 behind IQUITO PLANCHETTE (7), in a 2950m Toulouse amateurs Class F 11 days ago. Will have a part to play though if he gets off on the right foot
- GAGA LADY BENACH – Sanctioned here before repeating in Toulouse race of reference and can be confidently passed over
- IVRE DE TOI – Sanctioned in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class F when prepping for this last weekend. Is hard to knock when focused and even racing shod, will be no easy touch from the front line
- IOUP LA BOUM – Disappointing of late, most recently sanctioned in a 2700m amateurs Class E here mid-October, and can be ruled out
- HEMILIO PIERJI – Quality individual that ran 4th of 12, behind IQUITO PLANCHETTE (7), in a 2950m Toulouse amateurs Class F 11 days ago. Has solid references here and even from the back line should be good enough to finish close
- IQUITO PLANCHETTE – Back in Paris after running 2nd of 12 in a 2950m Toulouse amateurs Class F 11 days ago. Simply thrives here and, handicap notwithstanding, will take all the beating
- FIFTY – Sanctioned in last 3, latterly a 2625m Agen Class C on 23 October. Has decent amateur references, comes here fresh, and if focused can get in on the action
- FUNKY BERRY – 11th of 14 in a 2100m Class D here on 25 October. Back in a category he adores and, winner of 2 from 3 amateurs starts here, must be afforded due respect
Summary: Exceptional over 2850m on both courses, IQUITO PLANCHETTE (7) returns to Paris with a legitimate chance of opening his winter account. He will still encounter resistance from the highly-consistent FUNKY BERRY (9) who is back in the amateur category with a good hand to play, and HEMILIO PIERJI (6) who ran 4th to his stablemate at Toulouse.

C3 – PRIX RFM – LETROT OPEN DES REGIONS 3 ANS – 2850m (a2m) – Gr3 Race – Harness – EUR € 70,000 - LENNON D’HERFRAIE – Won a 3000m Nantes Class A on 17 November. Steps up in category and even with 4 pads fitted this time, nonetheless represents no more than a minor place prospect
- LUTIN DE REUX – Courageous winner of a 2850m Laval Class A 2 weeks ago. Steps marginally up in category but still has the capacity to double his money
- LOVER SIXTY ONE – Imposed at Graignes before coming 4th of 9 to LARA CROFT (6) in a 2875m Argentan Class A on 3 November. Pitted against better this time and others easier to back
- LORD DE LOIRON – Made up for a pair of sanctions when 2nd of 8 in a 2825m Class A at Le Croisé-Laroche 3 weeks ago. Left a good impression on his lone start here and although untried over this shorter trip, still looks a respectable first-5 chance
- LEADER D’AIMTE – Denied a run when 4th to L’AS DESBOIS (8) in a 2700m Class A here 9 days ago. Clearly on the way back up and will not be going home empty-handed if François Lagadeuc keeps him out of trouble
- LARA CROFT – Clinched a 2875m Argentan Class A on 3 November. Has taken little time getting back to her best and looks competitive for a place cheque
- LARA DU GOUTIER – Solid 5th of 12 in a 2700m Class A here 8 days ago but, in this company, has little chance of improving on that
- L’AS DESBOIS – Prevailed in a 2700m Class A here 9 days ago. Forced to incur the penalty this time and chances limited
- LASH PERRINE – Encouraging, and surprising, 4th of 9 to LUTIN DE REUX (2) in a 2850m Laval Class A a fortnight ago, however a repeat seems most improbable
- LEADER DE JOUDES – Looked capable of going closer when 4th of 7 in a 2700m Gr.3 here on 8 November. Will find a better pace this time and while unlikely to shake things up, can still get in on the action
- LUMINOSITY – Good 3rd of 10 in a fillies-only 2700m Gr.3 here on 8 November. Has the boys to contend with on this occasion and is unlikely to influence the result
- LILAS CASTELLE – Missed out by little on the 3-timer when 2nd of 9 to LUTIN DE REUX (2) in a 2850m Laval Class A a fortnight ago. Fitted with 4 pads for just 2nd time and could well wrap this up
- LEMON TREE – Respectable, but never-threatening 6th of 12 in a 2700m Gr.2 here a fortnight ago. Shoes on though and can be ruled out
- LARGO DE CASTELLE – Unlucky 8th of 12, behind LEMON TREE (13), in a 2700m Gr.2 here a fortnight ago. In less-exalted company this time and, with pads fitted, can give LILAS CASTELLE (12) something to think about
Summary: Back on course following a difficult start to the year, LILAS CASTELLE (12) missed out on the hat-trick at Laval last month but sports pads this time and can put things right. 25m better off again, LUTIN DE REUX (2) had her measure that day and should again figure prominently, but may first have to see off LARGO DE CASTELLE (14) who has also been reconfigured for his drop in class. Winner over the main track earlier in the year, LARA CROFT (6) showed great tenacity at Argentan a month ago and a similar effort would see her finish in the mix.

C4 – FINALE DU GRAND NATIONAL DU TROT – 2850m (a2m) – Gr2 Race – Harness – EUR € 150,000 - IROISE DE LA NOE – Runner-up in last 2, most recently a 2850m Laval Class E on 16 November. Will be at full-fitness, has excellent references under these conditions, and from the front row can impose her will
- ILLUSION JIPAD – Easy winner of a Class A here before finishing 10th of 14, behind ICONE MADRIK (3), in a 2100m Class C here 2 weeks ago. Is never easy to gauge and other better options available
- ICONE MADRIK – 5th of 14 in a 2100m Class C here 2 weeks ago. Has never produced the goods at this level and, while clearly capable, still has more to find
- JAKARTAS DES PRES – 5th of 12 to IGUSKI SAUTONNE (8) in a 2950m Toulouse Gr.3 11 days ago, but will need to show considerably more this time
- GOAL STAR – Consistent type that ran 2nd of 12 to IGUSKI SAUTONNE (8) in a 2950m Toulouse Gr.3 11 days ago. Sports 4 pads though and others preferred
- IBISCUS MAN – Made up for October sanction when winning a 2700m Class B with authority here 3 weeks ago. Has never been in better form, JMB ably replaces Eric Raffin, and is not to be discounted
- HERO SIBEY – Superior winner of a Cherbourg Gr.3 before confirming in a 2100m Class B here on 5 November. Has won 9 from 10 this year and, well-positioned on the front line, can play a leading role
- IGUSKI SAUTONNE – Made it 3 in a row when winning a 2950m Toulouse Gr.3 on 20 November. Could not have asked for a better entry and is not incapable of upsetting the apple-cart
- IGREC DE CELLAND – Championship leader but disappointing 11th of 12 to IGUSKI SAUTONNE (8) in a 2950m Toulouse Gr.3 11 days ago. Incurs the penalty and cannot be considered more than a minor place prospect
- HIDALGO DES NOES – Valiant runner-up to IDEAL LIGNERIES (14) in a 3000m Nantes Gr.3 on 6 November. Configured differently this time though and not a priority
- INO DU LUPIN – Excellent winner of a Laval Class A before running 2nd to IT’S A DOLLARMAKER (13) in a Gr.3 over course and distance 3 weeks ago. On the back row but has won 4 from 5 under these conditions and must be respected
- GRACE DU DIGEON – Decent 5th of 15 to INO DU LUPIN (11) in a 2850m Laval Class A on 1 November. Has ground to make up though and others easier to back
- IT’S A DOLLARMAKER – Terrific winner of a Gr.3 over course and distance 3 weeks ago. Forced to start on back row this time but boasts excellent course-and-distance credentials and will be no pushover
- IDEAL LIGNERIES – Failed to confirm Nantes success when 10th of 16 in Gr.2 Prix de Bretagne over 2700m here a fortnight ago. Is plainly in fine shape though and, in this more reasonable company, will have her chances
Summary: IROISE DE LA NOE (1) showed last year that she could run with the best; she has never disappointed over 2850m here and, barefoot for the occasion, can get off the mark for the winter meeting. IDEAL LIGNERIES (14) should not be condemned for his Bretagne performance and, even from the second line, will be expected to make amends. HERO SIBEY (7) is a model of consistency and the 25m head-start could just make all the difference. Irrespective of the conditions, IT’S A DOLLARMAKER (13) is never one to be underestimated.

C5 – LETROT OPEN DES REGIONS – 4 ANS – 2850m (a2m) – Gr3 Race – Harness – EUR € 80,000 - KARAIELLA BOND – 2nd of 8 in a 3000m Nantes Class A on 17 November. Races first-time barefoot, is plainly in shape, but is taking on too much this time
- KASH DES CAILLONS – Held on to impose at Caen before running 2nd to a very good horse in a 2875m Argentan Class A on 3 November. Yet to deliver at Vincennes but racing barefoot with David Thomain in the bike will only enhance his prospects
- KEEN OF THE NIGHT – Last but one in a 2850m Laval Class A 2 weeks ago. Reconfigured but still has no realistic chance
- KEVISAN – Should not be too quickly judged for finishing 12th of 13 to KING GEORGES (9) in a Class C over course and distance 2 weeks ago. Has otherwise been in fine form, appreciates the venue, and looks good enough to make first 5
- KISS ME SIMON – Surprise winner of a 2825m Class A at Le Croise-Laroche 3 weeks ago. On front line again, and races barefoot, but others preferred this time
- KROONER D’HERIPRE – Useful sort facing first test of the new season after running 7th of 9 in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class A conditioner 2.5 weeks ago. Sports a new configuration for his Vincennes debut and could pleasantly surprise
- KHARNAS – Won at Craon before running 2nd of 15 in a 2750m Class B at Les Sables on 21 October. Sports 4 pads this time though and best to hold off
- KISS ME AGAIN – Won 2 over 2700m here before running 6th of 9, when being prepared for this, in a 2850m Laval Class A 2 weeks ago. Was never tested that day but looks a serious contender this time
- KING GEORGES – Made short work of a Class C over track and trip a fortnight ago. Is unlikely to repeat but a similar effort would see him go close once more
- KESITO D’URVILLE – Won 2 in the provinces before finishing 10th of 12 to KARAMBAR (13) in a Class B over course and distance 3 weeks ago and, barefoot or otherwise, is not about to influence the outcome
- KYOTO DIGEO – Good 4th of 12 to KARAMBAR (13) in a Class B over course and distance 3 weeks ago. Regularly in the mix when barefoot and can, despite a 2nd row draw, give this a good go
- KOTKIE – Imposed at Agen before coming 2nd of 7 to KISS ME SIMON (5) in a 2825m Class A at Le Croise-Laroche 3 weeks ago. Clearly on the way back up and, despite the 25m penalty, is unlikely to disappoint
- KARAMBAR – Won 3 of last 4, most recently a Class B over course and distance with ease 3 weeks ago, and looks eminently capable of repeating
Summary: Nicely-engaged at the limit of earnings, KARAMBAR (13) has been something of a revelation when barefoot, won under these conditions during the summer, and may just have the edge over the better-placed KISS ME AGAIN (8) who has won two of three at Vincennes. Clearly back at the top of his game, KASH DES CAILLONS (2) races first-time barefoot and David Thomain will be keen to take advantage of the front-row break. KING GEORGES (9) is just 25 Euros from being penalised and his recent course-and-distance victory bodes well for his prospects.

C6 – PRIX PHILIPPE DU ROZIER – 2175m (a1m1/4) – Gr2 Race – Mounted – EUR € 120,000 - KASBAH PERRINE – Sanctioned in last 2, latterly a 2850m Class B over the short course on 22 November, and will have few friends
- ELISE ANA – Yet to deliver since crossing the Alps, most recently last of 7 finishers, behind KEL AIR D’EOLE (5) in a 2850m Class B here 9 days ago, and can be passed over
- KEENGAME – Quality element taking a notable step up in category after coming 3rd of 7 finishers, a place behind KEL AIR D’EOLE (5), despite faulting in a 2850m Class B here 9 days ago. Is reconfigured and, with application, can finish close
- KISS ME HONEY – Last but one when being conditioned in a 2700m harness Class B here 3 weeks ago. Has talent in spades and will be dangerous if she takes to the new discipline
- KEL AIR D’EOLE – Reassuring 2nd of 7 finishers, despite faulting, in a 2850m Class B here 9 days ago. Unlikely to repeat but should nevertheless hold his own
- KONDOR – Sanctioned in a 2850m Class B here on 22 November. Reconfigured for the occasion but still appears to have his work cut out
- KELVALSE CASTELETS – Sanctioned in last 3, most recently a 2850m Class B here on 22 November, and others easier to trust
- KAYA DREAM – Tenacious winner, at 11/1, of a 2700m Gr.2 here on 12 November. Already twice a Gr.2 winner in the code and, with form maintained, can add another notch to her belt
- KAPAULA DE L’EPINE – Unthreatening 5th of 8 finishers to KAYA DREAM (8) in 2700m Gr.2 Prix Ceneri Forcinal on 12 November. Did win a Gr.2 under these conditions 12 months ago though and, barefoot this time, deserves to be taken seriously
- KELLY DE BANVILLE – Comfortable Gr.3 winner over 2850m here before coming 3rd of 8 finishers to KAYA DREAM (8) in 2700m Gr.2 Prix Ceneri Forcinal on 12 November. Has nothing to prove at this level and looks a solid first-3 choice
- KYT KAT – Classy colt that missed out by little to KAYA DREAM (8) in a 2700m Gr.2 here on 12 November. Is plainly the better horse and Mathieu Mottier will be expected to set the record straight
- KYRIELLE DES VAUX – Unable to confirm Prix des Elites 3rd when disappointing 7th of 8 finishers to KAYA DREAM (8) in 2700m Gr.2 Prix Ceneri Forcinal on 12 November. Reverts to a successful formula and cannot be discounted
Summary: Gr.1 Prix des Elites winner in September before running a nail-bitingly-close 2nd to KAYA DREAM (8) in the 2700m Gr.2 Prix Ceneri Forcinal last month, KYT KAT (11) has won 50% of the time over 2175m and will be expected to exact revenge. Valiant 3rd that day despite badly-negotiating the final turn, KELLY DE BANVILLE (10) must also be considered a legitimate contender. A hardy filly when barefoot and focused, KISS ME HONEY (4) is reunited with Eric Raffin for her first competitive ridden start and will garner considerable support.

C7 – LETROT OPEN DES REGIONS – 5 ANS – 2850m (a2m) – Gr3 Race – Harness – EUR € 80,000 - JACKSON D’ARC – Respectable 5th of 10 to JEANNETTE PRIORY (11) in a 2875m Argentan Class A on 3 November, but is clearly taking on too much this time
- JEUDI DES RACQUES – 2nd of 13 to JADE HERINIERE (3) in a 3000m Nantes Class A 2 weeks ago. Transformed since returning to racing barefoot and, although unlikely to repeat, should still give an honest account
- JADE HERINIERE – Winner of a 3000m Nantes Class A 2 weeks ago. Takes on a better lot this time however and is unlikely to make much of an impact
- JIANFRANCO – Tenacious winner of a 2825m Class A at Le Croise-Laroche 3 weeks ago. Has taken particularly well to the main track and look competitive for another podium place
- JAVA DES CAILLONS – 6th in Laval race of reference when being prepared for this. Goes barefoot this time but would be preferred in a mares-only event
- JOYEUX DU LANDRET – Brilliant winner over course and distance before finishing 5th of 9 to JAPPELOUP TURGOT (14) in a 2850m Laval Class A a fortnight ago. Not the luckiest that day and must not be discounted
- JAVELOT – Good 2nd of 9 to JAPPELOUP TURGOT (14) in a 2850m Laval Class A a fortnight ago. Has been knocking at the door lately and from the front line will have a lot to offer
- JAGUAR DE LAUMAC – Easy winner of a 2825m Class A at Le Croise-Laroche 3 weeks ago. Unlucky under these conditions in September but has since more than made amends and looks a major player
- JOKER D’OCCAGNES – Reassuring 4th of 10, behind JILORD VIVA (12), in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class A 2.5 weeks ago, and even though well-engaged, nonetheless faces a stiffer test this time around
- JEDI DES BROUETS – Sanctioned in last 4, most recently a 2850m Parilly Class A 2 weeks ago, and can be confidently passed over
- JEANNETTE PRIORY – Won 3 of last 4, latterly a 2875m Argentan Class A on 3 November. Seldom excels at Vincennes though and others easier to back
- JILORD VIVA – Close 2nd of 10 in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class A 2.5 weeks ago. Barefoot for the occasion, is reunited with Eric Raffin who went close with him last July, and will be afforded every chance
- JUST A BOY D’ALESA – Won at Enghien late-September before running close 2nd of 16 in a 2700m Class B here on 8 November and, barefoot again, can bring the fight to JAPPELOUP TURGOT (14)
- JAPPELOUP TURGOT – Beat a number of these in a 2850m Laval Class A a fortnight ago. Won 2 here during the autumn and is thoroughly capable of securing another
Summary: Like a horse reborn since the summer, winning three of his last 4, JAPPELOUP TURGOT (14) may have raced just once under these conditions, and starts on the second line, but his recent Laval performance augurs particularly well for his prospects. Third that day after having imposed at the same track the previous month, JIANFRANCO (4) can again figure prominently, but may first have to see off the serious and in-form JUST A BOY D’ALESA (13) who is plainly close to winning another, and JAGUAR DE LAUMAC (8) who justifiably bids to complement last month’s victory at Le Croise-Laroche.

- HURIEL LUDOIS – One-paced 6th of 8, behind FERRERO DU LOISIR (5), in a 2450m Caen Class D on 12 October. Shoes back on and can be passed over
- FARCEUR ACE – Disappointing 8th of 9 in a 3000m Nantes Class D 3.5 weeks ago and has nothing to offer
- IVANOF – Not easy to handle but has ample ability, latterly 4th of 6 finishers in a 2850m Class B here last Monday. Takes a dip in category and, if applied, can make first 5
- FERRERO DU LOISIR – Has ability but sanctioned in last 3, latterly a 3000m Nantes harness Class E a fortnight ago, and other more trustworthy choices available
- ILLENC DES BOSC – Last but one when preparing for this in a 2100m harness Class C a fortnight ago. Alexandre Abrivard in the bike this time and looks a serious proposition
- IMAGINE D’ATOUT – Won on re-entry before coming 2nd of 10 in a 2625m Agen Class D on 23 October. Seldom disappoints when focused here and must be afforded respect
- HUGO OCCAGNES – Placed under the saddle at Caen before finishing last of 13, behind GARANCIO BELLO (10), when being conditioned in a harness Class D over course and distance last weekend. Shoes off but others still preferred
- ILTON ROYAL – 9th of 13, behind GARANCIO BELLO (10), when being conditioned in a harness Class D over course and distance last weekend. With shoes off this time though, will be no easy touch
- GARANCIO BELLO – Reassuring 4th of 13 in a harness Class D over course and distance last weekend. Excels over 2700m here and, reunited with Eric Raffin, can play a prominent role
- ILAYA – Makes monte bow after running 4th of 11 in a harness Class A over course and distance a month ago. Has nothing to prove at this level and, if form transitions, will have a lot to contribute
- HISTOIRE MODERNE – Debuts under the saddle after finishing 9th of 14 in a harness Class C over track and trip last Monday, and even though reconfigured, and with Damien Bonne onboard, is not about to cause an upset
- GAVROCHE BEST – Reassuring but surprising 5th of 10, behind ILTON ROYAL (9), in a 2875m Enghien Class C on 27 October. A repeat however seems improbable
- IALTO D’HERTALS – 14th of 16, on re-entry, in a 2875m Argentan harness Class A on 3 November. Switches code for first time and, reconfigured for the occasion, should be taken seriously
Summary: A thrilling race in prospect here with three protagonists set to generate most of the interest. ILTON ROYAL (9) thrives at Vincennes and is barefoot following a recent harness conditioner. Three times a winner in 4 starts over course and distance, ILLENC DES BOSC (6) is similarly unshod for his first objective of the winter. GARANCIO BELLO (10) won under these conditions last time under the saddle here and his recent harness performance did not go unnoticed. IMAGINE D’ATOUT (7) has picked up this term where she left off in June and although unlikely to impose this time, can still challenge for a place in the frame.

C9 – PRIX DE SAULT – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 41,000 - JONCTION HAUFOR – Sanctioned when being prepared for this in a 2175m monte Class F here a fortnight ago. Has references under these conditions and, if applied, can challenge for a place on the podium
- JOLYA DE POMMERAYE – Pleasant 6th of 16 in a 2100m Class F here on 5 November. Is evidently in good shape and although not a priority, is still good enough to make first 5
- JOKE BLUE – 3rd of 13 in a 2500m Reims Class F 2.5 weeks ago, on first start since the spell. Will have come on for the run but cannot be considered a contender
- JAVA DE BOITRON – Takes a big step up in category after coming 5th of 14 in a 2850m Maure Class F on 3 November and is unlikely to shake things up
- JALISCA FLIGNY – Sanctioned early in a 2150m Mauquenchy Class F 3 weeks ago and, in this field, has no possible chance
- JOFESCA BUISSONAY – Was not disgraced when 7th of 13, behind JOKE BLUE (3), in a 2500m Reims Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Just front pads fitted this time and chances limited
- JACOTTE DE TIZE – Made up for early-November sanction when 4th of 13 in a 3000m Nantes Class A 2 weeks ago. Top driver in the bike and will not be sent out at 91/1 this time
- JALISCA DES AMBRES – Showed improvement when 3rd of 15 in a 2625m Class D at La Rochelle 3 weeks ago, but appears to be biting off more than she can chew
- JUSTE DU GERS – Very good 2nd of 11 in a 2850m Class E here on 29 October. Goes barefoot again and Fabien Gence appears to have an even better opportunity this time. Chance
- JARYCA – 3rd of 11, a place behind JUSTE DU GERS (9), in a 2850m Class E here on 29 October, but has consistency on her side and Eric Raffin is unlikely to allow the same thing to happen again. Claim
- JANIS SHOW – Returns to her most successful configuration after finishing last but one, on comeback, in a 2850m Laval Class E on 8 November. Won over course and distance last winter and will justifiably generate interest
- JUVISY GEMA – Makes Vincennes debut after running 3rd of 7 finishers in a 2800m Strasbourg Class F late-October. Has decent left-handed credentials, goes barefoot this time, and is unlikely to be far off the mark
- JUST AN ARTIST – Encouraging 3rd of 12 in a 2500m Reims Class F a week ago. Sports a new formula but still no more than a minor place chance
- JOLIE DU CEBE – Showed improvement when 6th of 14 in a 2850m Laval Class E on 8 November. Enjoys a good entry but still has more to find
Summary: Transformed since starting to race in the day’s configuration, JARYCA (10) was never taxed on her late-October Vincennes debut and should be in a position to turn the tables on JUSTE DU GERS (9) who surprisingly beat her that day. JACOTTE DE TIZE (7) reassured mid-November and the engagement of Yoann Lebourgeois will do her prospects no disservice.
