R1 VINCENNES [L-H]
C1 – PRIX DES FREESIAS – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class C Race – Harness –
EUR € 38,000
- MIDWAY LADY – In the frame in 3 starts prior to faulting early in a 2850m Class C here on 13
December. Mathieu Mottier in the bike this time and will be no pushover if she keeps trotting - MISSY PERRINE – Flattering 4th of 7 behind MAGIC GIRL (9) in a 2175m Class D here 2
weeks ago. Enjoys a decent draw but appears to have too much to do - MAVISTA – Comfortable winner, but already sanctioned, in a 2850m Class C here last Friday.
Has bags of untapped potential and with application can bring the fight to MARALE SIBEY (7) - MYSTIQUE LADY – Promising sort that ran 3rd over the long course before being sanctioned
in a 2850m Class C over the short track a week ago. Has ample ability and, if focused, can make
the most of her draw and finish in the mix - METAVERSA – Won 2 in a row before being sanctioned in a 2100m Parilly Class B last
Saturday. Well-in on front row and will be one to watch on her Vincennes bow - MERRY – Showed improvement when 3rd of 9 in a claimer over course and distance earlier
this month but is taking on too much this time - MARALE SIBEY – Faulted early in a 2700m Class B here on 4 December, finishing last of 11.
Is an exciting future prospect though and can win this if Louis Baudouin assures her initial strides. - MOUSTACHE – Useful filly that ran 2nd of 8 finishers in a 2175m Class D here on 27
November. Should take well to the inner track and, in spite of a wide draw, will justifiably garner
support - MAGIC GIRL – Sprang a 67/1 surprise when 2nd of 7 finishers in a 2175m Class D here a
fortnight ago, but is not about to repeat - MARQUISE JISCE – Qualified in 1’18″7 at Le Mans on 24 October. Must first find her feet and
will not be over-taxed - MERVEILLEUSE – Sanctioned in all 3, most recently a 2850m Class C here on 13 December.
Subsequently left quite the impression and, on good behaviour, can play a prominent part - MY SAVE QUICK – Unexceptional 3rd of 7, a place behind MAGIC GIRL (9), in a 2175m
Class D here 2 weeks ago. Starts on 2nd line and is unlikely to spring any surprises - MADINA MESLOISE – 2nd of 9, on debut, in a 2275m Nantes Class F 12 days ago. Takes on
a superior lot this time and the draw will do her no favours - MAGDA DE VANDEL – Sanctioned here late last month before faulting and being pulled-up in
a 2175m Class D here on 6 December. Is here to get some morale back and others easier to
back
FRIDAY, 20/12/24 - MANHATTAN RAIN – Sanctioned, on return to competition, in a 2700m Class E here a week
ago. Handed an unfavourable draw but with Eric Raffin reining will be afforded every chance
Summary: Runner up to the unbeaten Magic America last month before an uneasy start put paid
to her plans over the main track next time, MARALE SIBEY (7) returns to conditions she
appreciates and even though drawn wide, still looks a leading contender. Sanctioned on her way
to victory here a week ago, MAVISTA (3) is better-positioned behind the car and Julien Dubois
will be eager to set the record straight. The usually-dependable MIDWAY LADY (1) was quickly
sanctioned last time but will have her chances if she gets off on the right foot. MERVEILLEUSE
(11) has yet to finish a race unscathed but she showed her form that day and will not be far off
the mark if she deigns to stay in stride.

C2 – PRIX DE MIREVAL – 2200m (a1m1/2) – Class D Amateur Riders Race –
Mounted – EUR € 54,000 - HIRO MAGIS – 6th of 7 in a 2175m Class E here 2.5 weeks ago. Has done nothing of note for
some time and can be confidently passed over - HIRO DE L’ORMERIE – Sanctioned in 3 of last 4, most recently a 2825m Class E at Le CroiseLaroche on Monday. Barefoot this time but must first re-establish his credentials
- HOLESHOT – Flattering 5th of 8 in a 2850m Class D here 10 days ago and in this company will
struggle to stand out - HOUARNEAU – Continued his productive ways when 5th of 12 in a Class D over course and
distance late last month. Consistently in the thick of things and is not about to let the side down.
First 5 - HELITE ELEVEN – Imposed over the inner track early-November before finishing 8th of 12
behind HOUARNEAU (4) in a Class D over course and distance late last month. Is clearly better
than that and can make amends - HARIA DU BELLAY – 6th of 15 in a 2100m harness Class D here 9 days ago after having
debuted unsuccessfully under the saddle. Will have come on for the run though and must not be
underestimated - GALIE DE CELINIERE – 8th of 10 on return to competition in a 2850m Class D here a fortnight
ago. Barefoot this time but others easier to back - GOLDEN GRACE – Should not be too quickly-judged for faulting on monte debut in a Class D
over course and distance late last month. Will have started to find her feet and can get a look-in if
focused - GRANIT DU FRESNE – 5th of 8 behind HORTINO (12) in a 2400m Amiens harness Class D
mid-November. Unseen under the saddle since 2019 and is not about to shake things up - HELIUM DE L’ITON – Produced a pair of good runs before being sanctioned in a 2850m
Class D here last Saturday and will need to show another side - HURIEL LUDOIS – 9th of 10 when preparing for this in a Class C over course and distance on
1 December. Seldom lets the side down when focused and his young rider will be out to prove the
point - HORTINO – Very good 4th of 14 in a 2950m Le Mans harness Class E on Monday. Has solid
ridden credentials and will be dangerous if form transitions - ELIXIR – Sanctioned at Enghien before finishing last but one in a 2850m Laval Class A on 1
November. Barefoot this time but still not easy to recommend - HEDEN CRUZ – Excellent servant that won a 2700m Class D on comeback here on 17
November. Has never failed to fire over the inner course and will be expected to double his
money
FRIDAY, 20/12/24
Summary: Not once out of the first 2 in his last 6 monté starts, HEDEN CRUZ (14) won
convincingly over the main track on his recent re-entry and will again take some beating. HARIA
DU BELLAY (6) raced better on last month’s ridden bow than the result would suggest and can
be backed with confidence. HORTINO (12) has not been seen under the saddle since September
2023 but is in sufficiently good form to be considered an important player. HURIEL LUDOIS (11)
boasts a 33 per cent win-rate in the discipline and returns to racing barefoot with a good hand to
play.

C3 – PRIX D’AMBOISE – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR €
59,000 - HANIKA DU LUPIN – Has been knocking at the door recently, latterly 3rd of 10 to INFERNA
DE HOUELLE (9) in a 2850m Class D here a fortnight ago. Not a leading contender but a spot in
first 5 is well within her reach - ILIADE (SWE) – Excellent servant making first start since finishing last of 13 in a 2100m Class
C here mid-November. Shoes on and will be given an easy race - FRISE PONT VAUTIER – Starts for first time since finishing 8th of 11 in a 2700m Class D at La
Capelle on 6 October. Barefoot for comeback but still not a player - IS MAGIC HAUFOR – Comfortable winner of a 2850m Class E here on 8 December. Steps up
in category but has earned the right to race in this category and is unlikely to be far off the mark - IMAGE CHARENTAISE – Has started to come good again following some conditioners, most
recently winning a 2850m Class E here on 8 December. Takes on some better horses this time
but still looks a respectable place chance - IRIS FROM – Raced better in 5 December race of reference than her 6th of 10 would suggest.
Rarely disappoints under these conditions and will be expected to finish thereabouts - IXORA – Ran 5th of 10 in race of reference. Struggled to turn last time but returns to racing
barefoot and cannot be discounted - IRINA DE BAILLY – Last but one in race of reference. Has been out of sorts for some time and
can be ruled out - INFERNA DE HOUELLE – Made it 2 on the trot when easy winner of a 2850m Class D here on
5 December and is eminently capable of securing the hat-trick - FELICITA D’ECOUVES – 8th of 15 in a 2100m Class D here last week, on first objective of
the winter, but will need to show markedly more - IDYLLE EXPRESS – Quality element that got off to a slow start but still ran 2nd of 10 to
INFERNA DE HOUELLE (9) in a 2850m Class D here a fortnight ago and can exact revenge if
Eric Raffin plays a different hand
Summary: A tough nut to crack when unshod and focused, IDYLLE EXPRESS (11) benefits from
a tremendous engagement, has already won 5 times for Eric Raffin, and has a realistic chance of
turning the tables on INFERNA DE HOUELLE (9) who beat her over 2850m here earlier in the
month. IS MAGIC HAUFOR (4) was sanctioned when going well that day and returns to 2700m
with every chance of making amends, although she may first have to see off IMAGE
CHARENTAISE (5) who won a Class E with ease 12 days ago.

C4 – PRIX DE LUYNES – 2175m (a1m1/4) – Class C Race – Harness – EUR €
46,000 - KRONO DU TRIO – Well-regarded colt that ran 7th of 16 in a 2850m Class D here on 4
December. Appears to be close to his spring form and looks principal danger to KARMA POWER
(5) - KATIM DU GOUTIER – Unremarkable 9th of 13 to KING GEORGES (9) in a 2850m Class C
here a month back and can be confidently disregarded - KERALDO – Surprise 2nd to KENO PETTEVINIERE (10) in a 2700m Class C here 12 days
ago. Will not be available at 96/1 this time but will not be as competitive either - KIWI DE TREMONT – Unseen since finishing last of 11 to KAMIKAZE DU CAMPUS (6) in a
2100m Class C here on 25 October and risks being race-rusty - KARMA POWER – Won 2 of last 4, most recently dominating a 2850m Laval Class A midNovember. Untried over the day’s distance but is a class act and can extend his win-rate to 67
per cent - KAMIKAZE DU CAMPUS – Serious sort that was oddly ill at ease, subsequently sanctioned, in
a 2700m Class B here on 28 November. Has never failed to fire over 2175m though and must be
taken seriously - KATCHI QUICK – Has not been seen out since securing the 4-timer early-August, comfortably
winning a 2875m Enghien Class C. Shod for comeback but still has the wherewithal to play a
leading role - KRAFEN – Reassuring 4th of 8 in a 2700m Class B here on 28 November, but still has a lot
more to find - KING GEORGES – Valiant 2nd of 13 in a 2850m Gr.3 here on 1 December. Won over course
and distance late-spring and in current form is very easy to like. Chance - KENO PETTEVINIERE – It took all season but got off the mark for 2024 in a 2700m Class C
here 12 days ago. Is ideally-entered and cannot be ruled out
Summary: Undefeated in 2 starts over the main track, KARMA POWER (5) laid down there law
at Laval last month and, reunited with Benjamin Rochard who has never failed to deliver with him,
looks set to extend his perfect Vincennes streak. KRONO DU TRIO (1) has 3 races under his belt
and Eric Raffin renews faith. Transformed since starting to race unshod-behind, KING GEORGES
(9) takes a notable dip in category and looks a serious proposition once more.

C5 – PRIX DE PLESSE – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR €
56,000 - HIT DE JOBI – Unremarkable this term, most recently last of 11 in a 2700m Class F at Lyon-La
Soie last week. Shoes on and can be ignored - HIVER D’AUTHISE – Won 4 from 6 prior to finishing a disappointing 8th of 11 behind HOLLY
GREEN (13) in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class E 3 weeks ago. Gets on well with Matthieu Abrivard
however and is well-placed to finish close - HIP HOP DE MADKER – Surprise winner over 2850m here 2 months ago before coming last of
12 behind HARCOUEL (8) in a 2850m Class D here on 18 November and is unlikely to spice
things up - HEUREUX DE FLEUR – Took no time getting back to successful ways, securing a 2725m
Graignes Class E a week ago. Seldom seen over this trip but has nevertheless the class to win a
race of this nature - HERMES D’ECROVILLE – 5th of 11, a place behind HOLLY GREEN (13) in a 2850m
Mauquenchy Class E 3 weeks ago. Dependable sort with solid references over 2100m here and
the draw will do his chances no disservice - HESCORT LOVE – Was being prepped for this when last but one in a 2800m Vire Class E on 1
December. Sports modified shoeing for the occasion and can play a leading role - HOLLY D’ECHAL – 11th of 16, after a long layoff, in a 3150m Saint-Brieuc harness Class E a
fortnight ago. Has a lot going for her here and victory is well within her capacity - HARCOUEL – Never-threatening 7th of 16 in a 3150m Saint-Brieuc Class E a fortnight back.
Starts wide and even racing barefoot this time still looks to have too much to do - HIGOR DAIRPET – Showed her form despite being denied a run in a Class D over course and
distance on 2 December. Has nothing to prove at this level and despite the draw still looks
competitive for a place payout - HORIZON D’EYMY – Wonderful servant with an enviable strike-rate and most recently made
short work of a 2500m Reims Class F on 24 November. Has yet to excel here but in present
shape is worth keeping an eye on - HERMES PAT – 9th of 10 to HEUREUX DE FLEUR (4) in a 2725m Graignes Class E a week
ago. Hind shoes off this time but still not an obvious choice - HARMATTAN DU RIB – Imposed at Caen before running 2nd of 11 in a 2150m Argentan
Class E last Sunday. Steps up in category and has been handed an unfavourable draw, but
merits respect nonetheless - HOLLY GREEN – Imposed at Mauquenchy on 22 August before coming 4th of 11 in a 2850m
Class E at the same venue 3 weeks ago. Confirmation however is not expected
FRIDAY, 20/12/24
Summary: She may be breaking wide but HOLLY D’ECHAL (7) benefits from a superb entry,
thrives under these conditions, goes well for Eric Raffin, and with hind shoes off is in with a
reasonable shout of imposing. The pair will still come under pressure from the wonderfullyconsistent HEUREUX DE FLEUR (4) who has been handed the ideal draw, and the padded
HESCORT LOVE (6) who posted 1’10”8 here 2 months ago. HIGOR DAIRPET (9) failed to find
an opening here earlier in the month but can figure prominently if Benjamin Rochard positions
him early.

C6 – PRIX DE JABLINES – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class C Race – Harness – EUR
€ 46,000 - LUMIERE DU CHENE – Very unlucky 8th of 12 behind LUTELLIA MONNERIE (14) in a 2100m
Class D here on 8 December. Showed her current condition though and can make this her own if
Paul Ploquin keeps her out of trouble - LUNELLA LEMAN – Modest 6th over short course before being sanctioned early, when
unsupported, in a 2100m Class D here on 8 December, and can be disregarded - LAGUNE – Starts for first time since finishing lacklustre 7th of 10 in a 2100m Class B here on
11 October. Goes over any trip and if race-ready can challenge for a place in the frame - LEMONADE FIZZ – Tricky soul that was disqualified for interference in a Class D over course
and distance mid-November. Sports front pads this time though and, with application, can get in
on the action - LOCCA DU BELLAY – Unraced since finishing 8th of 9 in a 2550m Reims Class B 2 months
ago. Has decent references over track and trip but others still easier to back - LUTECE JISCE – Won on comeback here late-October but sanctioned next time in a Gr.2 over
course and distance 2 days ago and backs with with limited prospects - LORIE DE LA PRADE – Won a claimer before running 5th of 12 behind LUTELLIA
MONNERIE (14) in a 2100m Class D here on 8 December. Will nonetheless need to take her
game up a notch - LILY DE L’AUNAY – Got off the mark at Enghien before finishing 9th of 10 finishers behind
LUNA PARK (12) in a Class D over course and distance mid-November, and can expect to have
few takers - LUCIOLE DU VERTAIN – Late to find an opening but nevertheless ran 4th of 12, a place
behind LUTELLIA MONNERIE (14), in a 2100m Class D here on 8 December. In similar form
could well open her winter account - LAUREATE DRY – Got back in the game when 2nd of 12 in a 2850m Class D over the inner
track 3.5 weeks ago. Front pads fitted again and must be afforded respect - LA VIVA DE LOU – Quality element that faulted early in a Class D over course and distance
mid-November. Has previously won under these conditions and despite the hike in category
cannot be discounted - LUNA PARK – A model of consistency over recent months, latterly 3rd of 10 finishers in a
Class D over course and distance mid-November, and will be no easy touch - LAVANDE DE ROCHE – 7th of 10 finishers behind LUNA PARK (12) in a Class D over
course and distance mid-November and will struggle to improve on that - LUTELLIA MONNERIE – 3rd of 12 in a 2100m Class D here on 8 December. Has been
knocking at the door lately and although unlikely to impose this time, can still finish in the mix
FRIDAY, 20/12/24 - LOUISIANE KAT – Useful but temperamental filly making first appearance since being
sanctioned in a Class B over track and trip late-September. Sports 4 pads for first time though
and should not be overlooked
Summary: LUMIERE DU CHENE (1) endured a horror of a trip here earlier in the month but still
put on a show towards the end and if Paul Ploquin keeps her out of trouble, she may just have
the measure of LUCIOLE DU VERTAIN (9) who finished ahead of her that day despite being
denied a run. Hard to knock since the end of the summer, LUNA PARK (12) defied her odds here
last month and will not be sent out at 36/1 this time. The promising LAGUNE (3) makes her first
appearance since early-October but is padded for re-entry and must be respected.

C7 – PRIX DE COLLIOURE – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D Race – Mounted –
EUR € 40,000 - LYNX DU LUPIN – Out of the picture in last 3, latterly sanctioned in a 2850m Laval Class F on
8 December, and is not about to trouble the opposition - LITTLEBOY DE PLANY – Runner-up at Cabourg prior to being sanctioned in a 2200m Class E
here mid-November. Is not devoid of ability but nevertheless needs to get his house in order - LUTHER – Sanctioned, on first ridden start back, in 28 November race of reference. Front pads
fitted for first time but others still easier to like - LEADER DE SEVRE – 6th of 7 behind LABEL DE LARRE (9) in a Class C over track and trip
on 28 November. Is on the way back up and while not a priority can still hold his own - LEANDRO DE MER – 6th of 7 behind LABEL DE LARRE (9) in a 2175m Class D here 2 weeks
ago and already looks out of his depth - LENNON D’ANS – Sanctioned when being prepped in a 2825m Chartres harness Class E
early last month. Has struggled to replicate spring form and even with pads fitted will have few
friends - LE BEST MADRIK – Comprehensive winner of a 2200m Class E here on 15 November. Has
taken superbly to his new vocation and will be quick to take advantage of the Duvaldestin
charge’s temperament - L’APOGEE IMPERIAL – 6th of 9 behind LEONARD DU CLOS (10) in a 2175m Class D here a
month ago. More was expected that day but he nevertheless has the wherewithal to make first 5 - LABEL DE LARRE – 2nd of 7 finishers in a 2175m Class D here a fortnight ago. Is clearly
close to winning another and Alexis Collette has maintained faith - LEONARD DU CLOS – Good servant that was surprisingly sanctioned in a 2700m Class C
here on 28 November. Showed his form after being excluded and will be no pushover if Anne
Barthélemy keeps him focused - LITTLE DAIDOU – Sanctioned when prohibitively-backed in a Class C over course and
distance late last month. Should not be too hastily-condemned and it would be no surprise to see
him impose this time - L’AS DE COEUR – Capable trotter but sanctioned in last 4, most recently 28 November race
of reference, but can make his presence felt if his new rider keeps him focused
Summary: LITTLE DAIDOU (11) may still be somewhat capricious but his class is not in
question. He lost his action last time out and Mathieu Mottier will unsurprisingly be out to set the
record straight. He will still want to be wary of LE BEST MADRIK (7) who lost his maiden status in
style over the inner course mid-November, and LEONARD DU CLOS (10) who was most unlucky
here late last month. LABEL DE LARRE (9) has progressed well since starting to race with pads
and must be taken more seriously this time.

C8 – PRIX DE CHALAIS – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class C Race – Harness – EUR
€ 53,000 - JAGUAR DJOB – 4th to JIPET DE CREPIN (11) mid-November prior to finishing 8th of 12
behind him again in a Class C under these conditions 3 weeks ago, and has a lot more to find - JASPE DU DOLLAR – Sanctioned in 15 November race of reference. Boasts fine Vincennes
credentials but will be taking on too much this time - JERICHO – Has ample ability but looked ordinary before being excluded in a 2100m Class D
here 2 weeks ago and even with JMB reining is unlikely to cause an upset - JACKSON D’ARC – 3rd of 12, at 93/1, in a 2850m Gr.3 here on 1 December and a similar
effort would see him finish close once more - JASMIN BLANC – Sanctioned in a 2100m Class D here 2 weeks ago. Has yet to shine in this
category and others preferred - JANKO HAUFOR – Good class of horse that returned to winning ways in a 2100m Class D
here on 25 November. In marginally better company this time but still looks dangerous - JAGUAR DU FAN – Back under harness after being sanctioned in a monté Class D over track
and trip 3 weeks ago. Has form under these conditions and should finish thereabouts - JOVIAL HAUFOR – Produced an excellent performance to run 2nd of 11 finishers in a 2100m
Class D here a fortnight ago and again looks main threat to JIPET DE CREPIN (11) - JIROBELLO – Starts for first time since finishing last of 9 in a 2850m monté Class C here lateOctober. Has other priorities and can be passed over
- JAGUAR DE LAUMAC – Imposed at Le Croise-Laroche before finishing an unthreatening 6th
of 12 behind JACKSON D’ARC (4) in a 2850m Gr.3 here on 1 December. Is back at a more
reasonable level and seems competitively well-in - JIPET DE CREPIN – Unable to secure the double when a somewhat unlucky 4th of 12 in a
Class C over course and distance 3 weeks ago. Has never disappointed for the day’s driver and
is not about to start. Claim - JEU COQUIN – Disappointing since returning from his rest, latterly 7th behind JIPET DE
CREPIN (11) in a Class C under these conditions 3 weeks ago, and can be ruled out - JAGUAR D’OBRET – Makes first appearance since coming 3rd of 11 in a Class C over
course and distance 3 months ago. Has turned a corner since returning to racing barefoot and is
unlikely to disappoint - JINGLE LOVER – Honest type that ran 5th of 13 in a 2100m Class C here a month back.
Reverts to a previous formula but still no more than a minor place prospect - JE TE CHERCHE – Quality element that finished 9th of 12 on comeback behind JIPET DE
CREPIN (11) in a Class C under these conditions 3 weeks ago. Is still being conditioned though
and best to keep one’s powder dry
FRIDAY, 20/12/24 - JOKER D’OCCAGNES – Drops in category after coming in a lacklustre 7th of 12 behind
JACKSON D’ARC (4) in a 2850m Gr.3 here on 1 December, but still seems to be facing a tough
task
Summary: Easy winner over course and distance mid-November before enduring a tough trip
next time, JIPET DE CREPIN (11) is patently in excellent shape and, barefoot and reunited with
Eric Raffin, can set the record straight. Runner-up to him in a Class D prior to confirming in a
particularly competitive event here earlier in the month, JOVIAL HAUFOR (8) will be no shrinking
violet. Stablemate JANKO HAUFOR (6) thrives under these conditions and looks a similarlyserious proposition. JACKSON D’ARC (4) ran 3rd in a Gr.3 here early this month and although
unlikely to win this time, he can still put in another good effort.

C1 – PRIX DE FLEURANCE – 2550m (a1m1/2) – Class F Race – Mounted –
EUR € 20,000 - JOYAU DU BENJO – Has really struggled of late and was 13th in a Class F Mounted race at
Grenade-sur-Garonne over 2725m on 15 December. Others are much preferred - IMPACT DE BEZILLAT – Disappointing recent runs and was 12th last time out in a Class G
harness race at Salon-de-Provence over 3000m on 9 September. Others are preferred - JIVAGO DU BOIS – Did not show his best when 14th in a Class F harness race at this track
over 2400m on 1 December. Better under the saddle and is not out of it - IOLOTAN – Has struggled all year and was 13th in a Class G harness race at Grenade-surGaronne over 2725m on 8 December. Needs major improvement to win
- JASON FAC – Unreliable and was 6th in a Class F harness race at Lyon-La Soie over 2700m
on 11 December. Tries a Mounted race and could play a minor role - IDEAL DE CHAHAINS – On a long losing run but was runner-up last time out in a Class E
Mounted race at Le Mans over 2950m on 16 December. Can be competitive again - IRACLE DES TITHAIS – Unreliable and was 12th last time out in a Class G harness race at
Grenade-sur-Garonne over 2725m on 15 December.. Capable of an upset back in a Mounted
race - IQUEM DANOVER – Seems better in harness races and was fourth last time out in a claimer at
Bordeaux-Le Bouscat over 2675m on 9 December. Others make more appeal - JEFFERSON DE CAREL – Did not show his best when 6th in a Class F harness race at
Toulouse over 2150m on 6 December. Ran well in a Mounted race earlier this year at this track
and has a winning chance - JINGLE PACA – Has disqualification issues but was also runner-up last time out in a Class F
Mounted race at Lyon-La Soie over 2700m on 11 December. Can contest the finish if smart again - JURANCON – Unreliable and was 8th in a Class F Mounted race at Saint-Galmier over
2650m on 19 November. Might earn some minor money - JEZABEL MAHCATH – Showed some improvement when runner-up last time out in a Class

on turf – the latest (5th) over 1200m at Toulouse on 24 November. Dark horse at this level in her
first start on this surface - HONKY TONK WOMAN – Experienced filly with references on both surfaces, though out of
sorts at present – unplaced in consecutive PSF appearances recently, the latest (11th) in a
course-and-distance handicap on 13 December. Others preferred
Summary: Wide open. ROSE ACADEMY (13) ran well enough in defeat at this level last time to
suggest that she can win a race of this nature, so she gets the nod ahead of KINEMATICA (14)
who shouldn’t be underestimated in her first start on French soil. GENTLEMAN BEAUTY (2),
after a commendable 5th behind the selection last month, supplemented MCTENETT (1), and
SUPER BUDDY (4), who shouldn’t be hastily condemned for his disappointing latest
performance, are best equipped of the remainder to challenge for a spot on the podium.

C3 – PRIX DE L’ANCIEN POTAGER – 1600m (a1m) – ALL WEATHER –
Maiden Race – Flat – EUR € 30,000 - THINTHREAD – Would’ve come on after a pleasing debut (8th of 14th) on PSF over 1500m at
Deauville on 29 November. Should have more to offer over this extended trip - BABY HARTWOOD – Didn’t go unnoticed when finishing 6th on debut (wasn’t knocked about)
at Saint-Cloud on very heavy ground over 1500m on 10 October. Should have more to offer - MONDO BOY – The subject of market interest on debut but finished a disappointing 13th of 14
on PSF over 1500m at Deauville on 29 November. Shouldn’t be hastily condemned - ZODD – Got going late on debut to finish an eye-catching 4th on PSF over 1500m at Deauville
on 29 November. Will play a leading role if confirming/building on that promise - DIEGO D’ARTOIS – Unplaced in 2 appearances, both on turf – the latest (6th) in a 1600m
Lignières maiden on 30 November. Ignore - ROSAPENNA – Confirmed the promise of his debut 3rd (on turf) over 1600m at Deauville with
a pleasing course-and-distance 4th on 19 November. Candidate for success - SURVIVOL – Unplaced in both turf appearances, the latest (10th of 13) in a 1600m
Fontainebleau maiden on 14 November. Improvement needed - LE TYCOON – Showed enough in 2 PSF appearances over 1500m at Deauville to acquit
himself competitively here. Didn’t go unnoticed when finishing 6th on 3 December – can get into
the picture with any improvement - APOGEO – Well-beaten 10th of 12 on debut in a course-and-distance maiden on 19
November. Entitled to improve with a run under his belt but is best watched for now - BREIZHY BOY – Giovanni Sias takes 3,5kg off the back of this Goken gelding on debut for
Alessandro & Giuseppe Botti. Beware - HALL OF FAME – Jonathan Leroy-trained Persian King colt debuting with Clément Lecoeuvre
in the saddle. One to note on debut
Summary: ROSAPENNA (6) confirmed the promise of his debut by finishing 4th over track and
trip last time, and he needn’t improve much to open his account. ZODD (4) caught the eye on
debut at Deauville and, on the evidence of that display, he should improve to pose a threat to the
favourite. THINTHREAD (1), THE TYCOON (8) and BABY HARTWOOD (2) are other likely
improvers so they shouldn’t be taken lightly.

C4 – PRIX DE LA GALERIE DE PSYCHE – 1800m (a1m1/8) – ALL WEATHER
- Class 4 Divided Handicap – Flat – EUR € 15,000
- DANSEUSE CELEBRE – Veteran handicapper with better references/form on turf – rarely seen
on PSF. Unplaced (9th) in a handicap over 1800m at Le Croisé-Laroche on 16 November – best
watched for now - WHATEVER IT COSTS – Unplaced in 5 PSF appearances, including her latest (8th) in a
1500m handicap at Deauville on 20 November. Outsider - YOUM IN LOVE – Unreliable performer who’s unlikely to trouble the judge on the evidence of
recent displays – unplaced in all 3 starts this year, the latest (8th) in a 1400m PSF handicap at
Deauville on 4 December. For another day - HOT SUMMER – Unreliable veteran handicapper but retains sufficient means – shouldnt be
hastily condemned for finishing 11th in a 100m handicap on this course on 10 December.
Dropped to a competitive mark in the weights/ratings - BOW LANE – Honest hard-knocker with sound references/form credentials, especially in PSF
handicaps. Proved his form and well-being with a good 3rd in a 2300m PSF handicap at Mons on
3 December - ACHKI – A model of consistency and a versatile veteran handicapper whose solid form
references/credentials include a last-start 4th in a 1600m handicap on this course on 10
Deecember. Candidate for success - PAS DE VELOURS – Versatile and consistent filly with sound references/form credentials in
handicaps on both surfaces, including a last-start 7th (wasn’t beaten far) in a 2150m PSF
handicap at Lyon-La Soie on 2 December. On the shortlist - SENEPARK – Soundly beaten in both comeback appearances after a 4-month absence. Wellbeaten 17th on this course in a 1600m handicap on 10 December
- LOU BALICOT – Proven PSF performer in good form and physical condition. Wouldn’t be
winning out of turn after finishing 2nd in back-to-back 1600m handicaps on this course recently,
the latest on 19 November – she is the horse to beat - ALPENGEIST – Versatile veteran whose 2 recent performances aren’t a true reflection of his
ability/competitiveness – finished 10th in a 1600m handicap on this course on 19 November.
Shouldn’t be hastily condemned - ZYGFRYD – Inconsistent but is competitive at this level – shouldn’t be hastily condemned for
finishing 10th in a handicap on this course over 2100m on 12 October. Not taken lightly on his
reappearance - DIWAN SENORA – Soundly beaten in each of his 3 comeback outings after a 3-month
absence, twice at on this course and (10th) in a 1900m PSF handicap at Deauville on 8
November - KAVAKNEY – Veteran handicapper with better references/form on turf – rarely seen on PSF.
Unplaced (10th) in a Saint-Cloud handicap over 1400m on 15 November – best watched for now
FRIDAY, 20/12/24 - RED CRAZY – Hard-knocking handicapper but out of sorts and unlikely to trouble the judge.
Soundly beaten in 5 consecutive starts, the latest (10th) in a 1900m PSF handicap at Deauville
on 22 August. For another day - ANONYME – Versatile veteran handicapper who has lost his way in 2024 – unplaced in all 10
appearances this year, the latest (14th) in a 1900m PSF handicap at Deauville on 8 November.
Others preferred - SECRET GLORY – Experienced handicapper unplaced in back-to-back PSF handicaps
recently, the latest (15th) over 1900m at Deauville on 8 November. Others preferred - KHARKIV – Long-time maiden (37 starts) unlikely to trouble the judge on the evidence of his
last-start 12th in a handicap at Deauville on 4 December. Overlook
Summary: LOU BALICOT (9) has hit the woodwork in consecutive starts on this course and a
repeat of either performance should be enough for her to score here. Versatile ACHKI (6) is a
model of consistency at this level and should make life difficult for the selection, while HOT
SUMMER (4) is another with legitimate podium ambitions. BOW LANE (5) and PAS DE
VELOURS (7) complete the shortlist.
