HENRIETT D’AURCY (9) was in good form before fluffing her lines with a disqualification last time out. She would not be a surprise winner. HIPPARIS (14) put in a good performance at Le Croisé-Laroche but is battling to regain winning form.

    Summary: HEADSCOTT (5) impressed with a good win at this course last month. This is a tougher race but he can follow up if in the same mood. GRAAL DU TRESOR (14) has been very competitive of late even in a Mounted race last time out. He is just as good in harness races and has an obvious winning chance. HERE WE GO (9) was not beaten too far at this track last time out and could do even better this time. GIPSY DE CHAMANT (6) is consistent and is also another to consider.

    Summary: IRMA DU VIVIER (1) seems to have been prepared with this race in mind. The distance suits and she could bounce back to score a competitive race. ISTORIC MAUZUN (6) will strip fitter after the last run and could contest the finish this shorter distance. IN TO MARANCOURT (3) has won over this track and trip and has a winning chance if smart. IRVING HEROLD (5) likes this track and is clearly not out of it.

KRISTAL DU TRIO (7) showed improvement last time out and is another to respect.

    Summary: KEBEBASAN (2) could be the answer in this, after a promising effort when second at this track on December 11th in a Class 2 hurdle. He was only beaten three-quarters of a length that day and will be expected to have a say in proceedings. KING OF FREEDOM (7) made a pleasing debut over hurdles when third at this track earlier this month and looks like the main threat. KAPACA DE THAIX (4) looks like a sensible option each way. SANT FIRTH (3) is also worth considering.

    Summary: Joint top-rated KATOVICE (4) should be able to follow up on a recent course and distance success on December 11th when she was a game-winner. Her main danger could be LE MERLOT (1) who will be in a good frame of mind after a facile success at Auteuil in a handicap chase at the end of November. He has placed form over hurdles at this track. BOOM BOOM CIAO (3) has been a tad below par recently but has contested Graded and Listed races on three of them. KERMILLIS (6) is also worth a mention.
