R1 VINCENNES [L-H]
C1 – PRIX DE WOLVEGA – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 59,000
- IDEAL GREEN – 7th of 8 finishers to INSIGHT SPOKEN (6) in a Class D over course and distance on 27 December and latest numbers do nothing to inspire confidence
- IDEAL DE RIVRAY – Won over track and trip mid-December before running lacklustre 6th of 12 in a 3125m Angers Class F a fortnight ago. Has bags of ability and JMB will endeavour to maintain his 100 percent record with him
- INHERIT – Serious sort that ran 4th of 14 to INSTANT D’HAUFOR (12) in a 2850m Class E here on 21 December. Failed to fire on lone start at this level though and others easier to back
- HAIKIDO – Ran 2nd at Bordeaux before finishing 10th of 17 when preparing for this in a 2825m Cordemais Class F last week. Front shoes off this time but a minor place prospect at best
- GAMIN DU GAULTIER – Faithful servant that could have finished closer than 4th of 14 in a 2725m Cabourg Class E 3 weeks ago had he not encountered traffic problems. Has placed twice in 3 main-track starts and should not be entirely written off
- INSIGHT SPOKEN – Made short work of a Class D over course and distance on 27 December. Has never failed to fire for Eric Raffin and has a realistic chance of repeating
- IBIS PETTEVINIERE – Hard to fault at present, most recently running close 2nd of 11 to INSTANT D’HAUFOR (12) in a 2850m Class E here on 21 December and can again to battle for a first-5 cheque
- HEUREUX DE FLEUR – Easy winner of a 2100m Class D here on 20 December only to lose it in the stewards’ room. Keeps on improving and, if applied, can make this his own
- IN EN VRIE – Bit off more than he could chew when 7th of 10 in a 2100m Class B here on Christmas Day. Has otherwise been in decent shape and picking up a cheque here is by no means out of the question
- GAUCHO DE LA NOUE – Got back on track in a 2550m Bordeaux Class E on 27 December, coming 3rd of 12. Has never shown much liking for Vincennes though and cannot be considered a contender
- FOKKER DE BAILLY – 9th of 14 in a 2700m Class D at Le Croise-Laroche on 2 December and is not about to spring any surprises
- INSTANT D’HAUFOR – Won 2 of last 3, most recently a 2850m Class E here on 21 December. Excels under these conditions and is not incapable of getting his nose in front
- FAKIR DE GESVRES – 8th of 11 finishers in a claimer over course and distance last week and is patently out of his league
- IMPERIAL DURABUTIN – 4th of 16 in a 2650m Marseille-Vivaux Class C on 12 December. Is clearly close to his race and although in better company this time, should nevertheless hold his own
Summary: HEUREUX DE FLEUR (8) would have made it 2 wins on the trot had he kept his action together here last month, but can make amends if François Lagadeuc manages to keep him focused. Failing that, recent course-and-distance winner INSIGHT SPOKEN (6) can pick up the relay and secure his own double. INSTANT D’HAUFOR (12) is currently enjoying something of a rebirth and David Thomain will be eager to keep the victory train running at full steam. IDEAL DE RIVRAY (2) has also won 2 of his last 3 and is reunited with Jean-Michel Bazire who was successful with him mid-December.

C2 – PRIX DE LA VALETTE – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class R Claiming Amateur Riders – Harness – EUR € 18,000 - GOLIATH DU CAUX – Bit off more than he could chew when 8th of 12 finishers in a 2850m Class C here on 18 December. Imposed last time at this level however and is eminently capable of repeating
- EMOI SPECIAL – Starts for first time since finishing 8th of 14 in a 2525m Cavaillon Class B last June. Is barefoot for re-entry, well-placed on front line, and can get straight back in the game
- EL FUEGO – 5th of 8 finishers, on comeback, in a 2925m Cagnes claimer on 12 January. Won at this level during the autumn, will have come on for the run, and is well-placed to give this a good go
- EXTRA DU CHATELET – 10th of 11 finishers behind FRANKLIN PARK (9), on return to competition, in a 2850m claimer here mid-month. Races barefoot this time and from the 4-spot looks a serious proposition
- FORUM MESLOIS – Last but one, on first start since the spell, in a 2850m Class E here on Christmas Eve, and is not about to shake things up
- EQUIANO – Moderate trotter starting for first time since running 11th of 16 in a 3000m Borely Class D late-November. Shoes off but still no threat
- FEE LUCERNAISE – Last of 11, on first start since her spell, behind FRANKLIN PARK (9) in a 2850m claimer here mid-month. Will have progressed for the run and debuts in the claiming division with a good hand to play. First 5
- EMENCOURT D’AZIF – Disappointing since imposing at Craon last autumn, most recently sanctioned in a 2850m claimer here 8 days ago, and must get his house in order
- FRANKLIN PARK – Ran 5th in a Class D here 8 days before coming 3rd of 11 finishers in a 2850m claimer here last week. Is plainly on his game and unlikely to disappoint. Place chance
- FOGO PICO – Sanctioned in last 2, most recently a Class D over course and distance a week ago. Not ideally-drawn but is plainly in shape and with application can get in on the action
- FILOU SMILING – 9th of 16 in a 2550m Bordeaux Class D early last month. Has been afforded time to recalibrate but the draw will do him no favours. Minor place chance at best
- IPSOS MARANCOURT – Reassuring 2nd of 10 over 2300m at Mons 10 days ago. Forced to start on back row and is unlikely to cause an upset
- GOLIATH DU RIEU – Not disgraced when 5th of 11 in a 2150m Argentan Class E mid-December. Has no claiming references and the draw only compounds matters
- HYPER FAST – Takes to claiming division for first time after running 6th of 8 finishers in a 2600m Parilly Class D on 14 December. Pulled a poor draw and while not a priority, will still have his supporters
- GASSMAN D’ESSA – Won a claimer over the inner track before finishing 11th of 15 in a 2750m Cabourg Class D on 17 December. Thrives at this level, races barefoot for the occasion, and despite the tough draw, must not be underestimated
- EXCELLENT DAY – Sanctioned in a 2850m Class D here 3.5 weeks ago. Has nothing going for him here and can be ruled out
Summary: Back to a more reasonable level after taking his chances in superior company, GOLIATH DU CAUX (1) has nothing to prove in the claiming category and from the front row can win this. He is going to be opposed though by the better-positioned EXTRA DU CHATELET (4) who has yet to be beaten when barefoot in this class, and the widely-drawn FRANKLIN PARK (9) who reassured here last week. EMOI SPECIAL (2) has been handed a good spot behind the car and even though unseen since last June, he is battle-hardened and will have his chances.

C3 – PRIX DE VIENNE-KRIEAU – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 40,000 - DUKE OF NEW YORK – 2nd of 7 finishers over 2000m at Gelsenkirchen on New Year’s Day. Failed to fire on lone Vincennes start but is in more suitable company this time and racing barefoot for the occasion will do his chances no harm
- FINN DI GIRIFALCO – Surprisingly sanctioned over 2020m in Florence on Christmas Eve. Has had a month to get back in shape, has won 6 of other 8 starts, and is thoroughly capable of adding to that tally
- FOR YOU ROC – Sports modified shoeing after being sanctioned in a 2700m Gr.3 here 12 days ago. Unlikely to stir things up but can at least hold his own
- LYS PETTEVINIERE – Capable colt making first appearance since running 4th of 6 in a 2850m Class D over short course last June and is going to need the race
- LANCELOT DE BEYLEV – Back under harness after winning a 2650m Bordeaux monte Class F on 5 January. Front shoes off for first time, with Matthieu Abrivard in the bike, but others still preferred
- LOVER DE TAGOR – Well-regarded individual taking on a tough task after faulting in a 2725m Cabourg Class E 3 weeks ago, and is unlikely to influence the outcome
- LAST DES BROUSSES – Won 3 in a row before faulting in a 2100m Class E here 3 weeks ago. Showed his form that day however and, if focused, can pick up a cheque
- LOVE DANCER – Sanctioned in last 2, most recently a 2100m Class D here 11 days ago. Has ample ability though, races shod this time, and with Benjamin Rochard reining, will be afforded every chance
- LE MAESTRO – Beaten only by his stablemate when 2nd of 10 in a 2850m Class E over short course on 7 January. Is confirmed at this level and, competitively-shod, can open his 2025 account
- FORCE OF NATURE – 2nd of 10 in a competitive affair over 2600m in Victoria Park on 11 January. Boasts fine Swedish form too and can make a big splash if he adapts to the new conditions
- LOCO FLIGNY – 2nd over the short course on Christmas Eve before running 6th of 10 finishers in a 2100m Class D here on 12 January and will need to raise his game
- LUCHADOR – Showed improvement when 5th of 12 in a 2100m Class E here 3 weeks ago but still has more to find
- LICARI – Back under harness after running 3rd of 8 finishers in a Class E over course and distance late-December. Takes on some good foreign horses this time but still looks competitively well-in
- FAST FURIOUS COL – A veritable metronome at home in Italy, most recently winning over 2020m at Taranto on 31 December. Faces a stiffer test here but is unlikely to be far off the mark
- FONZIE MABEL – Good, consistent colt that finished 3rd of 9 over 2060m in Turin on 11 December. Comes here fresh and first-time barefoot, and is not to be underestimated
Summary: Not the easiest of races to decipher but the Bazire-trained LE MAESTRO (9) is hard to ignore after having reassured over the short course earlier in the month. Sporting the same configuration, he takes on French debutant FORCE OF NATURE (10) who will be dangerous if he takes to the new profile, and the progressive Italian FINN DI GIRIFALCO (2) who receives an Alexandre Abrivard drive for the occasion. As competent in one code as the other, LICARI (13) races first-time barefoot and must be considered a player.

C4 – PRIX DES BALEARES – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D Amateur Riders Race – Mounted – EUR € 36,000 - KAMES MERITE – Tricky sort that opened his ridden account in a 2700m Graignes Class F on 30 December. Takes on a better lot for Vincennes debut and is unlikely to set off any fireworks
- KENZO DE CLOPEAU – 5th of 13 at 103/1 on monte bow, a place behind KORSO SNOB (5), in a Class E over course and distance on 31 December. Will have found his feet and must be afforded respect
- KARMA LIGHT – Returns to his code of preference after a fine, but sanctioned, effort in a 3000m Nantes harness Class E 10 days ago, and barefoot for the occasion, must be taken seriously
- KALONEK DU MONT – Unremarkable trotter making first appearance since being pulled-up in a 2950m Saint-Malo Class F last July. Barefoot for re-entry but is going to need the outing
- KORSO SNOB – Enjoying something of a renaissance since starting to race barefoot, most recently 2nd of 7 finishers in a 2650m Bordeaux Class E a fortnight back, and will justifiably garner significant support
- KAMIKAZE – 3rd of 9 in a harness Class E over track and trip mid-month. Has placed in 1 of 2 ridden starts, sports modified shoeing, and can get a look-in
- KRESUS LOVE – 4th of 6 in a 3000m Nantes Class E last Friday. Consistently gives his best and although not a contender can still count on a first-5 payout
- KING OF RACE – Won under harness late last month before being sanctioned with 200m to run in a 2850m harness Class D here on Sunday. Has previously won in the day’s configuration but still not an obvious choice
- KRACKSMAN – Encouraging 5th of 9 finishers, a place behind KRESUS LOVE (7) in a 2750m Cabourg Class F 3 weeks ago. Has evident ability but represents no more than a minor place prospect on this occasion
- KLASSIC FROMENTRO – 3rd of 8 finishers in a Class D over course and distance on Christmas Eve. Has had time to freshen up and will not be sent out at 20/1 this time. Chance
- KENJI D’AUBERVILLE – 6th of 9 finishers behind KRESUS LOVE (7) in a 2750m Cabourg Class F 3 weeks ago and again looks out of his depth
- KENYAN BLUES – A place behind KLASSIC FROMENTRO (10) on 24 December prior to faulting early in a 2750m Cabourg Class F 3 weeks ago. Front shoes off this time and with application can go far
Summary: An excellent campaigner in this branch of the business, KORSO SNOB (5) was beaten only by a very good horse earlier in the month and looks eminently capable of imposing this time. That said, the complicated KLASSIC FROMENTRO (10) is hard to knock when focused and is in sufficiently good form to give Thomas Levesque’s horse a run for his money. Just 290 Euros from elimination and proven under these conditions, KENYAN BLUES (12) has been reconfigured for the occasion and will be competitive for a place on the podium. KARMA LIGHT (3) would have finished in the mix last time had he not faulted in the straight and Mehdi Lelièvre will be keen to put things right.

C5 – PRIX ANDRE MEUNIER – 2850m (a2m) – Class B Race – Harness – EUR € 60,000 - CHESTNUT (SWE) – Wonderfully-consistent type that won a Class E over course and distance on 14 January. Has taken superbly to Vincennes conditions and has every chance of doubling up
- SANTOS DE CASTELLA – Well-beaten 8th of 9 finishers behind BITCOIND’ARC (12) over track and trip early-December. Has placed just once in 5 over the long course and can be passed over
- ISLAND LOVE – Useful mare that ran 4th of 11, a place behind IMOKO JIBELAU (7), in a Class D under these conditions 2.5 weeks ago. Has yet to deliver when barefoot but in present condition is easy to recommend for a place payout
- HASHTAG CHAMANT – Last but one when preparing for this in a Class D over track and trip on 7 January. Shoes on again and will pose no danger
- JIMMY FERRO BR – Failed to confirm mid-December success when 5th of 6 finishers over 2500m at Berlin-Mariendorf a fortnight later. Has evident ability but at this level will have his work cut out
- HAUTE COTE DE NUIT – Comfortable winner of a 2100m Class D here 3 weeks ago. Steps up in category though and in this company is unlikely to cause an upset
- IMOKO JIBELAU – 3rd of 11 in a Class D over course and distance 2.5 weeks ago. Thrives under these conditions and ignoring his candidacy would be unwise
- VERSACE FACE – 4th to BITCOIND’ARC (12) over track and trip early-December before finishing last but one in a 2700m Class D here 2 weeks later. Not a priority but is not one to be overlooked either
- IXORA – Unthreatening but respectable 4th of 12 in a 2100m Class A here 3 weeks ago. Not easy to knock under these conditions and will not be going home empty-handed
- IRON JET – Runner-up in a Class D here 2 months ago then sanctioned when competitive in mid-December race of reference. Climbs the category-ladder but has done enough to be allowed to take his chances
- CANTO DEI VENTI – Imposed at Machecoul before running 6th of 14 in a 2700m Class C here on Christmas Eve. Drops marginally in category and should be able to give CHESTNUT (SWE) (1) something to think about. Chance
- BITCOIND’ARC – 4th of 14 in a 2700m Class D here mid-December. Placed in 2 of 3 over course and distance and is unlikely to disappoint. First 5
Summary: A quality Swedish element, CHESTNUT (SWE) (1) opened his French account 9 days ago and even though in superior company this time, he still looks capable of confirming, Paul Ploquin will, however, be legitimately concerned by the well-engaged CANTO DEI VENTI (11) who is significantly better than his latest result would suggest, and ISLAND LOVE (3) who boasts solid references over 2850m here. Barefoot as she was here a month ago, IXORA (9) takes a small dip in category and if focused can challenge for a place in the frame.

C6 – PRIX DE GELSENKIRCHEN – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 40,000 - KRUGER DU NORD – Competent sort making first appearance since running 2nd of 11 finishers to KAKOU CAYENNAIS (9) in a Class D under these conditions on 19 November. Shoes on for comeback and best to wait
- KEYBOARD – Returns to the harness code after finishing last but one in a monté Class D over course and distance early last month, and is not about to spring any surprises
- KANDEL DE BEYLEV – Disappointing on the whole recently, latterly sanctioned early in race of reference. Reverts to a previous formula but others still preferred
- KING DE LARRE – Going well when sanctioned in 12 January race of reference, however he would be preferred over the inner course
- KENTUCKY SOMOLLI – Never at his ease, but nevertheless showed his form, in a 2100m Class D here on 12 January. Boasts decent references over the main track and can get in on the action if Mathias Dudouit keeps him focused
- KAPITANO DE LOU – Capable on a good day but will need to improve on recent 8th of 10 finishers behind KATSUMOTO (16) in a 2100m Class D here on 12 January.
- KAN DURAN – Honest type that ran 5th in 12 January race of reference. Seldom gets his nose in front but still looks a decent first-5 prospect
- KANT – Sprang a 49/1 surprise when 4th of 10 finishers behind KATSUMOTO (16) in a 2100m Class D here 11 days ago. Unlikely to repeat but tends to go well for Benjamin Rochard and should not be written off
- KAKOU CAYENNAIS – Never far from faulting but reassuring 3rd of 10 finishers, a place behind KATSUMOTO (16) in a 2100m Class D here 11 days ago. Current form is hard to fault and if given the chance, can make a big impact
- KEITHOS DU RHIN – Won over 2850m here, at 45/1, before missing out by little in a 2925m Cagnes Class C late last month. Appreciates these conditions and will again be expected to finish close
- KEPI DEL – Put a brace of sanctions behind him when 4th of 16 in a Class C under these conditions late last month. Races first-time barefoot, is proven over 2700m here, and could pleasantly surprise
- KISS ME – 6th of 14 behind KEITHOS DU RHIN (10) in a 2925m Cagnes Class C on 28 December. Has yet to impose here but always gives his best, although in this company he may struggle to make his mark
- KAMIL VAN HALBEEK – Serious colt that ran 9th of 16 behind KEPI DEL (11) in a Class C under these conditions late last month. Matthieu Abrivard reining this time and will not be far off the mark if he keeps his charge focused
- KARLOS DU LOISIR – Quality element that was denied a run in a Class C over course and distance 3.5 weeks ago, coming 7th of 16 behind KEPI DEL (11). Is plainly better than most here and with an unhindered run can impose
- KOH I NOOR – Fine trotter making first appearance since dominating a monte Class D over course and distance on 27 November. Enjoys a good entry but may be race-rusty and others easier to back
- KATSUMOTO – Made up for Cagnes sanction when 2nd of 10 finishers in a 2100m Class D here 11 days ago. Has never disappointed with Alexandre Abrivard reining and is not about to start now. Chance
Summary: Most unlucky here last time out, KARLOS DU LOISIR (14) is patently at the top of his game and can impose if Théo Duvaldestin keeps him out of trouble. He will still want to be wary of the reinvigorated KATSUMOTO (16) who enjoys a terrific entry, and KAKOU CAYENNAIS (9) who finished just behind him here recently. KEPI DEL (11) showed great courage here late last month and, racing barefoot for the occasion, will be no easy touch.

C7 – PRIX DE MONS – 2175m (a1m1/4) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 41,000 - ICONE DU GARDEN – Encouraged at Chartres before running 6th of 16 in a 2750m Cabourg Class F early last month and, in this category, will struggle to make his presence felt
- IDOLE STAR – Oddly below-par 7th of 14 finishers in a 2825m Cordemais Class F last week. Has form under these conditions and although not a leading concern, should still be retained
- INDULGENTE – Tricky but capable mare making first appearance since coming 6th of 12 in a 2850m Mauquenchy amateurs Class G mid-November. Shoes off but still expected to need the run
- IL PLEUT BERGERE – 5th of 16 in a 2100m Class E here late last month. Returns to racing barefoot and should logically go closer this time
- IDYLLE DE MAHEY – Switches back to the harness code after running 4th of 9 in a 2850m Mauquenchy monte Class E early-December. Races barefoot this time, with Yoann lebourgeois back in the wagon, and must be afforded respect
- IROMEE – 7th of 9 finishers, a place behind INES DE LA ROUVRE (8), in a 2100m Class E here on 6 January. Eric Raffin reining this time and can make first 5 if he succeeds in channeling her true value
- IDOLE JALLERIE – Failed to replicate good Argentan effort when sanctioned in a 3000m Chateaubriant Class D on 6 January, and others easier to back
- INES DE LA ROUVRE – 6th of 9 finishers in a 2100m Class E here on 6 January. Tends to post good times over these shorter trips and with Benjamin Rochard in the bike is not about to let the side down. Place chance
- ISTORIA MOON – 6th of 15 when preparing for this in a 2700m Graignes Class F 11 days ago. Back to racing barefoot, has been entrusted to Gabi Gelormini for first time, and can bring the fight to IZZIE D’ERONVILLE (10)
- IZZIE D’ERONVILLE – Routed the opposition in a 2850m Class E here on 22 December. Would be preferred over longer but in this company still looks the leading contender
Summary: Easy winner over longer here a month back, and ideally-engaged, IZZIE D’ERONVILLE (10) has excelled with Anthony Barrier and even though better over longer, she still has the quality to repeat. Also well-in, the consistently-performant ISTORIA MOON (9) goes barefoot after prepping in the provinces and looks the principal danger. IL PLEUT BERGERE (4) has never failed to deliver when barefoot and should be good enough to place this time.

C8 – PRIX DE YONKERS RACEWAY – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class B Race – Harness – EUR € 60,000 - JAPAROV LIRE – Won over 2840m at Mons 10 days ago, on first start since the spell. Stays shod for return to Paris but the Eric Raffin-factor cannot be ignored. Attention
- JOUR DE FETE – Sanctioned when well-supported in a 2700m monte Class C here 2 weeks ago. Has references under these conditions and from the 2-spot will be expected to apply the pressure on JOKER DES CHALIERS (9)
- JEWEL DE LA COTE – Unplaced in 3 since the break, most recently 7th of 8 finishers behind JACOMO BELLO (10) in a 2850m Class C here a week ago. Barefoot this time around but still needs to find more
- JOYCE – Last but one in a 2925m Cagnes Class C on 21 December. Off her porridge for several months but has been handed a good draw. Has won 2 of 4 with Alexandre Abrivard and should not be entirely disregarded
- JOTUNN DU DOME – Imposed over 2700m here before running 3rd of 14, despite being denied a run, in a 2850m Class E here last week. With an unhindered trip, can play a leading role
- JOLIVERT DU GERS – Faithful type that ran 4th of 8 finishers, a place behind JACOMO BELLO (10), in a 2850m Class C here a week ago. Is unlikely to have his day in the sun but can nevertheless challenge for a place in first 3
- JALIMEDE – Back under harness after running 5th of 10 in a 2700m monté Class C here a fortnight ago, but others still easier to back
- JOUVENCE DE CAREL – Placed 3 times under harness prior to running 2nd of 11 in a 3000m Nantes monté Class F 10 days ago. Not ideally-drawn but in present shape is easy to like for a first-5 cheque
- JOKER DES CHALIERS – Hard to fault since returning late last season, latterly 3rd of 16 in a 2700m Class C here on 2 December. Has never failed to deliver over 2100m here and will take all the beating
- JACOMO BELLO – Won over 2175m 3 weeks ago, a fortnight before coming 3rd of 8 finishers in a 2850m Class C here a fortnight later, and with form maintained, can defy the draw and finish in the mix
- JOLVIK DE GUEZ – Unable to confirm late-December success when 6th of 13 to JACOMO BELLO (10) in a 2175m Class D here 3 weeks ago, and in this category has no realistic chance
- JENNY DE JOUDES – 7th of 10 finishers in a 2850m Class C here last Saturday. Has been off the boil for some time and will have nothing to contribute
Summary: Solid as a rock since returning from a lengthy break, JOKER DES CHALIERS (9) imposed over course and distance before convincing in a tough Class C over longer here early-December. Afforded time to recuperate, he comes here fresh and even though forced to break wide, he can still get the new year off to a flying start. Better-positioned behind the car, JOUR DE FETE (2) has been specifically prepared for this and with application can go far. As versatile as they get, JOTUNN DU DOME (5) is well-positioned in front and steps marginally up in category with a good hand to play. JOLIVERT DU GERS (6) starts upsides, is currently enjoying a productive run of form and will not be far off the mark.

C1 – PRIX DE THEZE – 2400m (a1m1/2) – ALL WEATHER – Class 3 Race – Flat – EUR € 18,000
- NANTMOR – Has made great strides of late with a hat-trick of wins, with the latest being over this track and trip on 8 January. Can make it four in a row
- CHERGUI – Did not show his best when 8th in a handicap at Deauville over 3400m on 4 January. Better over further but has a winning chance
- MEXICAN DREAM – On a long losing run but was third last time out in a handicap over this course and distance on 8 January. Has a winning chance
- PRINCE OF DAWN – Struggled throughout 2024 and wa 13th last time out in a handicap over this track and trip on 8 January. Needs major improvement to win
- SIR ANTONINO – Finished 8th in a claimer over this track and trip on 14 January. Needs to find a few lengths to win
- AGADOR – Has not been seen at his best and was 6th of 6 last time out in a Group 3 at Deauville over 2500m on 3 August. Returns from a break but can win against these rivals
- VEREMOS – Consistent of late and was third at San Sebastián over 2200m on 14 July. Could need this run returning from a break
Summary: AGADOR (6) stands out as the most successful runner in the lineup. He returns from a break but needn’t run to his rating to make a winning reappearance. Efficient in testing conditions, hard-knocking handicapper CHERGUI (2) is ideally engaged and will make life difficult for the selection. Fast-finisher MEXICAN DREAM (3) and recent hat-trick scorer NANTMOR (1), whose last victory was in a course-and-distance event earlier this month, complete the shortlist.

Summary: After finishing 2nd in her first appearance at this level last time, nothing stands in the way of TARA KIND (3) going one better. DIOSES PAREDROS (4) finished 2nd in a claiming hurdle last month and could trouble the principals if confirming that improvement over the larger obstacles. LESBOS DES MOTTES (1) appeals most of the remainder.
