    Summary: MALICE CAILLERIE (3) fluffed her lines with a disqualification last time out. She looked good when scoring her second start and can bounce back to score this if smart this time. MY BLACK CADENCE (5) has improved under the saddle and was a good winner at this track over further last time out. this shorter distance should not really trouble her. MINA DRY (2) has only found one better in both her starts and can contest the finish. MUSCADE LEMAN (10) could be a threat trying a Mounted race.

    Summary: LEGOLAS (9) did not show his best side when first trying this track but he did do better at Rouen-Mauquenchy last month and could be ready to score again. LOOKING BOY (3) is better than his last run would suggest and should be a lively danger driven by Eric Raffin. LIMBOURGOIS (4) has not done much wrong so far and has to be considered a possible winner. LIEUTENANT COLUMBO (5) should also be competitive in this line-up.

    Summary: A very competitive-looking race. METEORE DE SIMM (6) looked good when winning his first race under the saddle and can follow up if in the same mood. MHUM FLYNG (8) fluffed his lines with a disqualification on debut but has won two good races since and should be right there at the finish again. MINDELO (5) won a Mounted race in his penultimate and is not out of it. MANHATTAN JIEL (7) is in good shape and make the frame.

    Summary: HEADSCOTT (10) has his first run for this year but it may well be a winning one. He ran well when runner-up last time over this track and trip in December and can go one better. ISTER MAN (6) was not disgraced at Saint-Galmier when fourth but has a much better record when unshod and is barefoot and a threat. HARISON DU PLESSIS (7) is consistent and ran well over this track and trip last time out. HUBBLE DU VIVIER (11) can also get into the mix of things if wise.

    Summary: LOVELY JENILOU (2) showed vast improvement when runner-up over this course and distance last time out. She is well placed behind the car and can go one better. LITTLE STAR JIEL (8) has disqualification issues and fluffed her lines last time out but is a serious threat when wise. LOTTA ROSIE (7) was not far behind the selection LOVELY JENILOU (2) last time out and would not be a surprise winner. LIO DE PIENCOURT (10) is consistent but is returning from a break.

    Summary: An open-looking race. JAG ROYAL (11) has a couple of disqualifications to his name including last time out in a Mounted race. He knows how to win races and can bounce back to score. JARDYLAND (13) was not disgraced over a bit further last time out but is track and trip-suited and clearly not out of it. JUST PRINCESS (9) can give the males a run for their money and deserves respect. JOBALASKO BLEU (16) is unshod this time and is one of many more in with a shot at winning.

  80. KYT KAT – Victorious in a Group 2 Mounted race at this track over 2175m on 26 January. Better that shorter distance but can score again
    Summary: An interesting Group 2. KYT KAT (8) beat most of these rivals at this track last time out. It is a longer distance this time around and it should be a competitive finish. KEENGAME (3) is very consistent and may be better suited to this trip so is a serious challenger. KELLY DE BANVILLE (7) is unreliable but was runner-up behind KYT KAT (8) last time out and is not out of it. KATINKA AIMEF (1) is very hard to trust but could earn some money.

    Summary: A tough race to end a good card. KAZAR (4) is highly rated by his connections and his recent disappointments are easily explained away. He looked good when winning in October and is barefoot for the very first time so could repeat that effort. KARLOS DU LOISIR (9) was a good winner over this course and distance in January and could follow up. KISS ME SIMON (12) is usually very competitive in this division and has a winning chance. KAISER (11) and KEVISAN (2) look best of the remainder.

  3. MAESTRO KADESH – Showed some promise when third on debut in Class E at Bihorel-lès-Rouen over 2500m on 6 October. Can do even better this time returning from a break
  4. MONIA VERDERIE – Has improved with each run and finished third Class F over this track and trip on 21 January. Should contest the finish
  5. MUSE DU VALLON – Has run well in both starts and finished fourth in Class F at Saint-Brieuc over 2575m on 24 January. Has a winning chance
  6. MAEVA DE COQUERIE – Finished tenth on debut in Class E at Rouen-Mauquenchy over 2850m on 27 January. Needs to find a few lengths to win
  7. MADE IN PRIMO – Ran well on debut but has been a disappointment in two starts since then and finished 7th in Class D at Vincennes over 2175m on 5 December.
  8. MYKONOS – Ran well on debut when runner-up in Class F at Angers over 2425m on 29 January. Has a winning chance with improvement likely
  9. MIAMI – Disqualified last time out at Rouen-Mauquenchy on 27 January. Better judged on a good penultimate start and is clearly not out of it if wise this time
    Summary: MYKONOS (8) showed promise on his debut when runner-up at Angers last month. He should have improved since then and he can go one better. MAESTRO KADESH (3) returns from a break but did run well on debut when third at Bihorel-lès-Rouen and would not be a surprise winner if fit. MISTER MOUROTAIS (2) has been disqualified in both starts but does have some talent and could be a threat. MADE IN PRIMO (7) is also capable of contesting the finish.

He can get off the mark in this open handicap from ANIELSKA (1) who has to overcome a wide starting position, but will likely be ridden with some patience by Cristian Demuro. IRISH DU GOUET (2) has been lightly raced and shaped well on his handicap debut when he was fourth late last month at Deauville. LARCIN (7) is also worth a mention.

NOOTKA BAY (6) is another to consider and can be involved at the business end.

  95. LE NOMADE – 6th last time when not given a bit of a stiff task by his rider, he was 2nd before that over track and trip on December 20th in a Class 2 race and can be on the premises
  96. CAMIRO – Two unplaced efforts since a 3rd over 1800m at Dortmund (DEU) on January 5th in a conditions race. Unlikely to be involved
  97. GRAND SON OF CALYX – 6th on his most recent run over 1900m in a Class 2 race at this track. Seems to have hit a dip in form and is best watched for now
  98. AMABATI – Nice 2nd on debut in October and then a win over 1400m at Deauville on November 8th on his latest run. She looks a promising type although her lack of experience might catch her out
    Summary: APAX (3) got back in the winning groove over track and trip in late December on his latest start in a Class 2 race and has a leading chance of following up. LE NOMADE (10) was second that day beaten in a photo finish. He has since finished sixth over 1400m at this track when given plenty to do. Back over the 1600m will be more suitable. MATURLO (2) also has a leading chance and has solid form in decent races of late. QUASAR (9) makes up the shortlist.
