- BIG LOG – Six unplaced runs since a 3rd over 1600m at this track in a Class 2 handicap on March 5th, 2024. He has dropped to a decent handicap rating and can be feature
Summary: BIG LOG (16) looks to be well treated on form at this track last year when he was third in a competitive Class 2 handicap, and he was not beaten far over 1400m at this track earlier this month in a Class 2 handicap. He can edge this from ZELORO (14) who won over track and trip in December and is lightly raced and has more to come. NOBLEMAN (9) won over 1900m in mid-October at this track and has to be considered. EVERSTAR (10) likes this surface and ran well at this track recently. He is an each-way option, along with SOUS LA NEIGE (8), who warrants respect.

- PINK VALENTINE – Nice 3rd two runs back over 1300m in a Class 3 handicap at Cagnes-Sur-Mer on February 25th. In the mix
- SASSY RASCAL – She has eased in the handicap after several unplaced runs, the latter over 1300m in a Class 3 race at this track on February 28th. Worth taking a chance on at nice odds
- INTUITION – Unplaced last time out, 3rd before that over 1400m at Chantilly in a conditions race on February 27th. Place contender
Summary: Having eased in the handicap, it might be worth taking a chance on SASSY RASCAL (9), who is more than capable of making an impact in a race of this nature off her current handicap rating. VIOU (6) has the assistance of Maxime Guyon and acquitted himself well at Machecoul last time out in late February. He can be a threat. SIXTUS (4) acts on all types of surfaces and is the each-way angle. PINK VALENTINE (8) is also worth considering.

- SPIRIT D’OR – 6th last time out in a Group 2 race at this track on October 12th over 1200m and a win before that over 1250m at the Curragh (IRL) on September 15th. One to keep safe

Summary: SELENIEN (1) was a shade unlucky not to win at Pau on the PSF on his most recent start when second in a Class 2 race on his seasonal return and can go one place better this time. WEWILLDANCEAGAIN (4) is improving and will be full of confidence after her last two wins. She can make the selection work hard for success. BONIFACE (3) has won both starts and now tries a new surface for the first time and warrants respect. SPIRIT D’OR (5) heads the remainder.

Summary: BUFFALO WOMAN (12) could be the answer in this claimer. ABLAZE (4) has shown ability in two non-claiming events and could be a threat to the selection. Summary: LETTY’S MARVEL (4) tries a claimer for the first time at the age of ten and could be competitive at this level. BAKHCHISARAY (8) has been very consistent in this division and is sure to be involved in the finish once again. CASA LUNA (10) has only been modest in France, but that could change in a race of this lower level. PACO (2) steps up in distance and might appreciate it, so he deserves respect.

C1 – PRIX DE L’HIPPODROME DE LISIEUX-NORMANDIE – 2675m (a1m1/2) – Class F Race – Harness – EUR € 17,500
- MOZAR DE REVE D’OR – Good 2nd of 9 finishers in a 2675m Class F at Le Mont-Saint-Michel 2.5 weeks ago. Clearly an up-and-coming colt and will take all the beating
- MAJOR MESLOIS – Made up for a pair of sanctions when 3rd of 13 in a 2450m Caen Class F on 3 March, and with form maintained, will be no soft touch
- MAESTRO DE PAGERIE – 5th of 12 in a 2450m Caen Class F a fortnight ago. In less-exalted company this time and is well-placed to make a big splash
- MISTER FRIPOUILLE – 6th of 12, a place behind MAESTRO DE PAGERIE (3), in a 2450m Caen Class F on debut a fortnight ago, and will need to find considerably more
- MYTHIQUE RENKA – 6th of 11, on return from a layoff, in a 2450m Caen Class F 10 days ago. Has yet to put his full potential on display but it is just a question of time
- MITCH DE GRANOU – 6th of 13 behind MAJOR MESLOIS (2) in a 2450m Caen Class F on 3 March. Can clearly trot and will be expected to finish closer this time
- MAESTRO DE DUSSAC – Honourable 4th of 8 in a 2400m Amiens Class F on 5 March but takes on a better lot this time and the wide draw will do him no favours
- MOLSHEIM – Surprise 5th of 10 in a 2725m Graignes Class F 11 days ago but a repeat seems most improbable
- MIDWAY D’OYSE – Qualified in 1’19”4 at Grosbois last July. Cannot be considered a priority but is still worth monitoring
- MISTER LOVE JULMA – 8th of 13 behind MAJOR MESLOIS (2) in a 2450m Caen Class F on 3 March, first time out. Disregard
- MONACO – Career debutant that qualified in 1’19”6 at Caen last May. Boasts a fine pedigree and will be dangerous if he lives up to it. Chance
Summary: Nicely-related and thoroughly professional on his recent debut, MOZAR DE REVE D’OR (1) has an excellent opportunity to get off the mark. Romain Derieux’s untried MONACO (11) will not be inconvenienced by the draw and appears to have the class to win a race of this nature. MAJOR MESLOIS (2) got back in the game at Caen and, with stride in check, will be expected to contest the finish. MYTHIQUE RENKA (5) will have progressed for his solid return run and should have the wherewithal to finish in the mix.

C2 – PRIX ROGER LEDOYEN – 2725m (a1m1/2) – Class D Amateur Riders Race – Mounted – EUR € 24,000 - KARAMAZOV – Lost his action 700m from home in a 2450m Caen Class F 10 days ago. Made his mark under the saddle in 2023 and returns to the code with high hopes of making a big impact
- JENNY DAIRPET – 6th of 16 when preparing for this in a 2800m Cholet harness Class F on 2 March. Will be race-fit by now and, if applied, will not go down easily
- KALEA DREAM – Lost her action early in a Class F under these conditions 12 days ago. Yet to make her mark in this branch of the business but can get a look-in if applied
- JIVANOF DE GUEZ – Unseen since running 10th of 12, first time under the saddle, in a 2800m Vire Class F on 1 December. Runs barefoot on re-entry but chances still appear limited
- JAIZKIBEL – 9th of 13 in a 2700m Graignes Class F on 16 March. Is considerably better than the result would suggest and can figure prominently if she turns
- JASMINE DE LYONS – Sanctioned in a 2850m Loudeac harness Class F on 16 March. Races barefoot for first time but still not a concern
- KOOKIE DE BELLANDE – 10th of 11 finishers, on first start since September, in a 2875m Enghien harness Class E on 11 March. Yet to win under the saddle but always gives her best and should not be underestimated
- KRILLE ELLIS – Facile winner of a Class F over course and distance mid-month. Never far from faulting but in similar form can repeat
- JISSY DU CAP VERT – Has not been seen out since finishing 9th of 16 in a 2725m Evreux Class F last September. Consistently gives everything she has to give but is going to need the run
- KIARA D’ECOTAY – Made up for a brace of sanctions when successful in a 2800m Vire Class F on 2 March. Sanctioned on lone start here but has bags of ability and on good behaviour could well repeat
- KARMA DE BEAUFOUR – Sanctioned in a 2875m Enghien harness Class E on 11 March. Reverts to a previous formula for ridden debut and even though well-engaged still looks an outsider
- KAP ORNE – 4th of 7 finishers, on return from a spell, in a 2450m Caen Class E a fortnight ago. Is confirmed here and although not a priority, should not be written off either
- JAMY – 6th of 7 in a 2875m Enghien Class F on 11 March. Is clearly talented but has been struggling for some time and with shoes back on is unlikely to influence the outcome
- JEAN NO DU MARGAS – Sanctioned, on return from a 3-months’ break, in a 2850m Loudeac harness Class F mid-month. Shoes on again and poses no danger
- JAFF DE MESLAY – Pulled-up in a 2875m Enghien harness Class E a fortnight ago. Was not the most fortunate that day but returns to a code he appreciates and, nicely-engaged, can put things right
Summary: A complicated mare she may be but KRILLE ELLIS (8) encountered little opposition en route to victory here mid-month and, provided that Charline Blaizot keeps her focused, she has a decent chance of doubling her money. 25m worse off, JAFF DE MESLAY (15) has two runs under his belt, reverts to racing with hind shoes fitted, and looks the main threat. KIARA D’ECOTAY (10) left an excellent impression at Vire earlier in the month and, already a winner for Oscar Placier, must be considered a major player. KARAMAZOV (1) should not be too hastily-judged for his recent sanction; he has confirmed references under the saddle, sports a new configuration, and will have a lot to offer if he takes to the new profile.

- LADY D’ELFE – Quickly sanctioned in a 2875m Enghien Class D on 11 March. Has a good spot in front and even racing shod looks a decent first-5 prospect
- L’ETOILE FILANTE – Fine servant making first appearance since running 2nd of 10 in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class E 2 months ago. Returns to racing shod, has not once finished out of first 3, and must be afforded respect
- LUNE DU DOUET – 11th of 12 finishers in a 2100m Vincennes Class D mid-February. Reunited with Franck Nivard who imposed with her last summer, and the new configuration will only work to her advantage
- LADY DALM – Serious filly starting for first time since being sanctioned in a 2700m Vincennes Class D last October. Has ample potential and is competitively-shod but may just need the race
- LOLA D’OHARA – Ran 2nd at Toulouse before coming 5th of 11 in a 2875m Argentan Class E on 16 February. Takes on some better horses this time though and is likely to be found wanting
- LADY D’ECOTAY – Has been afforded time to recalibrate after being sanctioned in a 2175m Vincennes Class E on 6 February. Runner-up on lone Lisieux start and returns to the track with a decent hand to play
- LYMKA PRINCESSE – Sanctioned in Toulouse on 7 March before repeating in a 2200m Caen Class E a week ago. Handed a rough draw and chances appear slim
- LA FOULE – Showed her form despite losing her action in a 2200m Caen Class E a week ago and can win this if she gets off on the right foot
- LARA MAKS – Made up for Vincennes blip when 3rd of 11 in a 2850m Laval Class E a month ago. Won at Argentan last time racing right-handed and is not to be overlooked
- LALA QUICK – Lacklustre 8th of 10 finishers behind LADY D’ELFE (2) in a 2700m Vincennes Class E a month back. Is plainly full of potential, gets to race barefoot for the first time, and winning this is well within her capacity
- LA DIVA DU WALLON – 10th of 11 in a 2450m Caen Class E 2 weeks ago. Is never easy to gauge and even sporting a new formula is unlikely to spring any surprises
- LAYLA SONIA – Sanctioned in 3 of last 4, latterly a 2200m Caen Class E a week ago. Is not devoid of ability and has been reconfigured, but her lack of discipline is a concern
- LUNA DE BELFONDS – By no means disgraced when 7th of 12 finishers in a 2200m Caen Class E a week ago. Flopped on lone start here and the draw only compounds the matter
Summary: Winner on her debut here last season, LA FOULE (9) showed a lack of discipline at Caen a week ago, is forced to break from the back line, but is a quality future prospect and Julien Dubois will be intent on setting the record straight. LALA QUICK (11) has a brace of runs in her since the break, goes first time barefoot, and can get straight down to business. LUNE DU DOUET (4) will be race-fit by now, races without hind shoes for the first time and, from the 4-spot, Franck Nivard will be justifiably confident of a big run. LADY D’ECOTAY (7) has had time to get her house in order and despite a wide draw, can still challenge for a place in the frame.

C4 – PRIX DE LA SOCIETE DES COURSES DE LISIEUX – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 20,000 - LEWIS GRIFF – Comfortable winner of a 2700m Vire Class F on 2 March. Has taken his game to a new level this year and even though forced to start on the rail, he races first-time barefoot and, if there is a spoiler here, this is it
- LONDON RECALL – Quality colt making first start since being headed in a 2175m Vincennes Class E on 21 January. Nicely-placed in front, is shod to preference, and should have this in the bag.
- LOUVIERS – 5th of 15, despite considerable indiscipline, in a 2450m Caen Class E 2.5 weeks ago. If given the chance to trot, can put up considerable resistance. Chance
- LEXCELLENT DU METZ – Serious sort but sanctioned in last 2, most recently a 2850m Laval Class E on 12 March. Léo Abrivard could not have hoped for a better draw though and with application will logically finish close
- LIMBOURGOIS – In the frame in all 4 this term, latterly 3rd of 10 in a 2925m Cagnes Class E on 4 March. Should take well to Lisieux conditions and has every chance of finishing thereabouts at the finish
- LATINO DES ISLES – Hardy element that ran 11th of 15 behind LOUVIERS (3), on comeback, in a 2450m Caen Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Clearly has a bent for racing clockwise but is going to need the race
- LICAR SOMOLLI – Sanctioned on re-entry in a 2850m Laval Class E on 12 March. Will have come on for the run but will have little to contribute
- L’ONCLE SAM – Last but one, on comeback, in a 2675m Class F here mid-month. Would be preferred in the other code
- LE CLASSIC – Imposed at Argentan on 25 January before running 3rd of 11 in a 2875m Class E at the same venue 3 weeks later. Is plainly on the way up and will have a lot to offer if Hervé Langlois successfully navigates the start
- LE MIRACLE – Useful individual that ran 2nd of 10 in a 2875m Meslay Class F early last week. Will have come on for the race but runs shod this time and represents more a minor place prospect
- LITTERAIRE – 12th of 13, on first start after a spell, in a 2200m Caen Class E a week ago. Shoes off this time but still looks out of his depth
- LEGASSOV – Has not put a foot wrong since the turn of the year, most recently third of nine in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class E late-February. Has no right-handed references and the 2nd row draw will not aid his plight
- LEONARD DE VINCI – Has not raced since running 6th of 15 in a 2700m Vincennes Class E mid-January. Is plainly capable but is shod for re-entry and others easier to back
- LEGOLAS – Pleasant 4th of 12 in a 2200m Caen Class E 10 days ago. Takes on a better lot this time and the draw will do him no favours
Summary: LONDON RECALL (2) may not have been seen out for over 2 months but he is a fine future prospect and has the quality to get straight back in the game. Romain Derieux will still want to be wary of the well-positioned and talented, but sometimes spirited, LOUVIERS (3) who would have finished closer at Caen had he not shown a lack of discipline, and the less-favourably-drawn, but improving, LE CLASSIC (9) who races barefoot for the first time. LIMBOURGOIS (5) enjoys a good spot on the front row, has been a thorough professional so far, and Benjamin Rochard will be anticipating a big run.

- JAZZMAN BLUES – Takes a notable step up in category after coming 4th of 15 in a 2900m Challans Class G 2.5 weeks ago and will have too much to do
- JANOU POULOT – Hardy element making first appearance since running 3rd of 11 in a 2200m Caen Class E last September. Races shod however and best to keep one’s powder dry
- JEWELKIM – Good 2nd of 16 in a 2450m Caen Class F 2 weeks ago. Starts in front, has never disappointed in the day’s configuration, and can play an active role
- JUSTIFY LOVE – Won 4 from 6 before being sent for a rest, ending the year coming 14th of 16 in a 2100m Vincennes Class F early-November, but is clearly in conditioning-mode and others preferred
- JAGUAR DE ROZEVIC – Ran 5th of 16 in a 2675m Class F at Le Mont-Saint-Michel 2.5 weeks ago. Regularly gives his best but cannot be considered more than a rank outsider
- JAGUAR GEMA – Lost his action on re-entry in a 2800m Pontchateau Class F earlier in the month. Seldom lets the side down when focused and if race-fit, can get a look-in
- JACKSON D’ECAJEUL – Talented type making first start since being sanctioned in a 2500m Saint-Brieuc Class F last November and will need the race
- JUKEBOX DU SCION – 6th of 14 in a 2800m Pontchateau Class F 3 weeks ago. Enjoys a superb entry on the front row and will be barefoot for the occasion. Attention
- JEU DE MOTS – Quality trotter starting for first time since being sanctioned in a 2850m Vincennes Class D last October and is going to need the race
- JAGERBOMB – Has not been seen out since coming 4th of 10 in a 2700m Vincennes monte Class D last September. Shoes on for comeback and will not be influencing the result
- JAZZ UP – 7th of 16 on re-entry in a 2825m Chartres Class E 11 days ago. Remains shod and will have nothing to contribute
- JOSELITO DU VIVIER – Sanctioned in last 2, latterly a 2800m Vire Class E on 2 March. Regularly a question of all-or-nothing and, if applied, should represent the main threat to JACK DES ASS (17)
- JAMBIER – Quality dual-discipline sort that came 2nd of 10 in a 2450m Caen monte Class G 3 weeks ago but is here for a change of scenery and not a priority
- JEREMICE MERITE – Decent mare with nothing to prove at this level, most recently 4th of 11 in a 2450m Caen Class D 3 weeks ago. Went close on lone start here and has every chance of finishing in the frame
- JACKMAN – Versatile type than ran 11th of 13 in a 2825m Chartres Class E return race 11 days ago and will be dangerous if Nicolas Bazire manages to keep him focused. Chance
- JACK DES ASS – Last of 10 on return to competition in a 2450m Caen Class D early-March. Beaten only once when barefoot and focused and Clément Duvaldestin will be justifiably expecting to win this
- JUVAMINE RENARDIER – Respectable 6th of 11 behind JEREMICE MERITE (15) in a 2450m Caen Class D 3 weeks ago and again looks a decent first-5 chance
Summary: A remarkable trotter with an enviable strike-rate, JACK DES ASS (17) races barefoot for his first objective of the year and on good behaviour can wrap this up. That being said, the more complicated but no-less-talented JOSELITO DU VIVIER (13) is a tough nut when focused, has been reconfigured, and has already won at the venue. Barefoot for the occasion, and as good going one direction as the other, JACKMAN (16) will not be easy to oppose. Difficult to knock when reined by Benjamin Rochard, JEREMICE MERITE (15) runs barefoot this time and has form at the venue.

- KISS ME BABY – Starts for the first time since running seventh of 11 finishers in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class E last August and is going to need the race
- KIZIA STAR – Going superbly before losing her action in a 2300m Chateaubriant Class F early last month. Has had ample time to recalibrate, won her only start here, and from the front line must be respected
- KAVALE DE BOLERO – 7th of 16 behind KARLESS DANICA (7) in a 2875m Meslay Class F on 16 March. Will be fit by now, has previously won here, starts in front and is not to be ignored
- KELLY PRETTY – 7th of 9 finishers, a place behind KOSETTE DU HAMEL (1), in a 2675m Class F here on comeback 12 days ago. Barefoot this time but is simply not up to the task
- KIANA OASIS – Sanctioned when unsupported in a 2675m Class F here on 15 March. Shoes off this time but is still not a concern
- KARLESS DANICA – Surprise 2nd of 16 on comeback in a 2875m Meslay-du-Maine Class F on 16 March. Is not a priority but is still worth keeping an eye on
- KUZA DU BOUILLON – Starts for first time since being sanctioned in a 2725m Graignes Class E mid-December and will have nothing to offer
- KINGALA – Ran 2nd of 18 to KATIA DE MUZE (17), on re-entry, in a 2875m Meslay-du-Maine Class F on 18 March. Unlikely to repeat but is well-entered and will not be available at 51/1 this time
- KORIGANE D’ERABLE – Clinched victory in a 2200m Caen Class E 3 weeks ago. Fitted with front pads once again but looks more a minor place chance this time
- KATHLEEN D’ECOTAY – Pleasantly-surprising 5th of 16 in a 2450m Caen Class D earlier in the month and has little chance of confirming
- KIVAOA DU PERCHE – Unexpected winner of a 2825m Graignes Class E on 16 March. 25m worse off this time though and is not about to cause an upset
- KALIPETTE JELOCA – Quality mare that ran 7th of 14 when preparing for this in a 2450m Caen Class E conditioner 2.5 weeks ago. Has won 3 of 4 when barefoot and has a respectable chance of adding to that tally
- KILOVE DU GOUTIER – 11th of 12 finishers behind KALIPETTE JELOCA (13) in a 2850m Vincennes Class D on 17 February. Runs barefoot this time and if race-fit could pleasantly surprise
- KUNAMATATA – Imposed at Nantes before stylishly confirming in a 2875m Enghien Class E on 11 March. Sports similar shoeing and is not incapable of repeating
- KOMMUNES DE PLAY – Totally out of the picture since the autumn, most recently 11th of 13 finishers in a 2450m Caen Class E 2.5 weeks ago, and can be confidently passed over
- KATIA DE MUZE – Won 2 of last 3, latterly a 2875m Meslay-du-Maine Class F on 18 March. Unbeaten in the day’s configuration and will unsurprisingly garner significant support
- KENNEDY STREET – Out of sorts when pulled-up in a 2850m Laval Class E a fortnight ago. Just 340 Euros from elimination and Jean-Philippe Dubois will be eager to put the record straight. Place chance
Summary: The key to this race is on the back row and it is hard to ignore KATIA DE MUZE (17) who comfortably won at Meslay-du-Maine early last week. She will nevertheless be taking on KUNAMATATA (15) who debuts at the venue on a 3-timer, and the talented KALIPETTE JELOCA (13) who excels when barefoot. KENNEDY STREET (18) enjoys a fine entry at the limit of earnings, sports a new configuration, and if focused will be in a position to contest the finish.

- KAILASH ARCTIC – Starts for the first time since running 2nd of 6 finishers in a 2400m Amiens Class F last October. Hind shoes off but nevertheless faces a very stiff test
- KSAR DU RIEU – Sanctioned on re-entry in a 2875m Argentan Class E last week. Has since moved stables and may be a race shy, but still looks capable of making first 5
- KINGSTON DU MINON – Sanctioned in 5 of 6 this year so far, most recently a 2850m Mauquenchy Class E 10 days ago, and is unlikely to stir things up
- KING JULMA – 8th of 16 on comeback in a 2675m Class F here mid-month and will have nothing to contribute
- KASIMIR DU BOIS – 4th of 16 in a 2675m Class F here mid-month. Is unlikely to win this but breaks in front and can get in on the action
- KYMI JACK – Gave a surprisingly good account on comeback, running 3rd of 15 in a 2675m Class F at Le Mont-Saint-Michel 2.5 weeks ago. 25m better off this time and must be taken seriously
- KIWI DE CHINE – 4th of 16 on re-entry in a 2875m Meslay-du-Maine Class F last week. The run will have done him good and while not a priority can still hold his own
- KARNAC D’ALCI – Made a fine re-entry, running 2nd of 12 in a 2500m Bihorel-lès-Rouen Class F on 9 March. Will have progressed for the run, starts on the front line, and can challenge for a place on the podium
- KOVES DU PONT – 10th of 18 in a 2875m Meslay Class F last week, on first start since November. Not short of talent but is going to need the race
- KRONOS D’ERPION – Encouraged at Angers but disappointing 8th of 14 behind KING SUN DRALIAM (14) in a 2450m Caen Class E 2.5 weeks ago and can be ruled out
- KITO TURGOT – Runner-up in last 2, most recently a 2850m Mauquenchy Class E 10 days ago. On back row but still a leading contender
- KNOCK OUT – Uncontested winner of a 2725m Graignes Class E 11 days ago. Top driver back at the helm and should again take all the beating
- KING SUN DRALIAM – 5th of 14, on return from a brief spell, in a 2450m Caen Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Incurs the penalty but has a lot going for him here and should not disappoint
Summary: Winner at Graignes recently, on his first start for Marius Coignard, KNOCK OUT (13) races barefoot for his Lisieux debut and with Yoann Lebourgeois back in the bike, could well make it 2 on the trot. After a difficult start to the year, KNOCK OUT (13) is clearly back in business and tends to go well for Franck Nivard. KING SUN DRALIAM (14) is well-entered here and is reunited with Benjamin Rochard who has form with him. KARNAC D’ALCI (9) excels racing right-handed and in current form looks a player from the front row.

- HUITRE D’OR – Imposed at Caen on 3 March before running 3rd of 16 in a 2450m Class D at the same venue a week later. Enjoys a golden-entry here and François Lagadeuc will be eager to make hay
- HEROINE DE GUERRE – Has had time to recover after running 5th of 11 in a 3150m Saint-Brieuc Class E early last month. Handed a fine spot behind the car and has a good hand to play
- HOPE YOU CAN – Ran 4th at Amiens before repeating behind HARLEY DELTO (11) in a 2725m Graignes Class F on 16 March. Well-positioned on the front line and, reconfigured for the occasion, can play a small role
- HEMILIO PIERJI – 8th of 11 in a 2875m Enghien Class F a fortnight ago. Has looked ordinary this term and even with hind shoes off still appears to have his work cut out
- GALON D’AMIRAL – Failed to confirm Laval performance when 9th of 11 behind HAROLD SAUTONNE (2) in a 2550m Reims Class F on 15 March and will have few takers
- HUNMEC SOMOLLI – Made up for Caen blip when 3rd of 11, a place behind HARLEY DELTO (11), in a 2725m Graignes Class F on 16 March. Not a priority but with some luck in running can pick up a cheque
- GRISBI DU PERSIL – 8th of 11 behind HAROLD SAUTONNE (2) in a 2550m Reims Class F on 15 March. Has never excelled racing clockwise and is not about to start now
- HUNADORA – Twice placed at Vincennes before running 7th of 15 behind HUNMEC SOMOLLI (8) in a 2900m Amiens Class F on 22 February. Is plainly better than that though and despite a 2nd line draw, still looks competitively well-in
- HARLEY DELTO – 2nd of 11 in a 2725m Graignes Class F on 16 March. Is new to the venue but has demonstrated fine versatility and must be classed as a contender
- HALMIA DE VANDEL – Unraced since running 5th of 18 in a 2675m Class F at Le Mont-Saint-Michel last November. Barefoot for re-entry though, with Benjamin Rochard in the bike, and is unlikely to be far off the mark
- HILTON DU HOULET – Sanctioned, on return to competition, in a 2500m Reims Class F on 2 March. On back line but is shod to preference and the engagement of Adrien Lamy will only enhance his prospects. First 5
- FULGURIS SEGAH – Has not been seen out since finishing 12th of 13 in a 2750m Cabourg monte Class E last October and has nothing to contribute
Summary: In cracking form and ideally-placed behind the car, HUITRE D’OR (3) races shod for her Lisieux bow but still looks the pick of the field. Starting just to her inside, HAROLD SAUTONNE (2) has been knocking at the door recently and Matthieu Abrivard will be eager to get a win into him under such good conditions. Similarly well-positioned in front, HEROINE DE GUERRE (4) seldom disappoints when focused and should appreciate the Lisieux profile. Runner-up in 4 of his last 5 races, HARLEY DELTO (11) is forced to break from the 2nd line but deserves to be rewarded soon.
