  4. QUASAR – Finished a clear 3rd over 1600m at Chantilly in a Class 1 on the 9th of March 2025. Others make more appeal
  5. SIAM PARAGON – Winner over 1400m at Parislongchamp in a Class 1 on the 7th of May 2025. Will be tested here
  6. HAATEM – Finished 5th over 1600m at Sandown in the Group 2 Bet365 Mile on the 25th of April 2025. Leading contender
  7. START OF DAY – Finished 5th over 2000m at Parislongchamp in the Group 1 Prix De L’Opera Longines on the 6th of October 2024. Should run into the money
    Summary: HAATEM (6) produced a fair effort on his reappearance and should be much fitter for this contest which could see him hold off his rivals. QUDDWAH (2) is a very exciting colt who has only been beaten at Group 1 level and will appreciate this drop to Listed company which could see him return to winning ways. MARHABA YA SANAFI (1) is a useful sort who shouldn’t be far off the action but might find the UK raiders a bit too good on the day. START OF DAY (7) has the ability and has won some nice races but may have to settle for a place.

  16. LAZIO – Runner up over 2000m in Germany in a Group 3 contest on the 1st of May 2025. Place chance
  17. AVIDE – Runner up over 2200m at Chantilly in a Class 2 on the 14th of April 2025. Include in all bets
    Summary: ASMARANI (1) was an emphatic maiden winner and looks to be a promising sort in the making. He hails from a strong combination and could deliver the goods. ZEKRET (2) has produced two promising efforts since that maiden win and looks to be heading in the right direction. AVIDE (10) just found one too good last time out but will be in the firing line as he looks to return to winning ways. RAFALE DESIGN (4) has been tested at this level so knows what it is about but bumps into a few exciting sorts and he may have to settle for a place.

    Summary: MON SIOUX (10) has turned his form around and continues to run well in defeat. He could be the answer in this contest as he chases another win this calendar year. LOUVE PRECIEUSE (12) showed good improvement to feature last time out and if confirming that effort, then she should be on the premises. PURPLE RAIN (2) has been running with plenty of credit recently and with a bit of luck on his side, his fortunes could change. ON LOCKDOWN (7) has seldom been far off them and should run another useful race.

    Summary: WHITE PLATIN (3) has found one too good at his last two outings and could make amends here. He has hit form at the right time and rates the one to beat. AVERSA (1) has been running against a lot stronger and this drop in class will be right up her alley as she aims to notch up her first victory for the year. CALYPSO (7) has produced two positive runs in recent times and on the basis off that, he should have a say in the outcome. JUST IN TIME GAME (15) came good last time out and if able to confirm that win then he can earn.

  57. WOODSTONE – Unplaced at Hanovre over 2200m on 1 May. Unlikely to be involved in the finish and must improve to feature
  58. LA DO RE – Well beaten 8th in a Condition race at Deauville over 2500m on 8 November. Must improve to feature in this line-up
    Summary: HAVANA SIX (5) has been kept on the PSF for some time now and has maintained her form well. A switch to the turf could spark a winning effort. NARCOS (2) has been very unreliable lately but can improve on a strong recent performance on this track. LISEO (8) has not won for over a year but is not out of the running in this line-up. HUNGRY HEART (7) showed some improvement back on the turf at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat and must be respected.

    Summary: CANKOURA (1) impressed when winning in her penultimate start. She was unlucky at the course but on the turf earlier this month. This distance suits her better, and she should bounce back to beat these rivals. PAIX DES DAMES (2) is improving and should be right there at the finish once again. She won a good race at this track last month. ILDA ROSA (3) was a bit of a disappointment at Chantilly but could get closer over this distance. TEMPTABLE (4) is consistent and could make the frame again.

  79. WONDER BOY – Fifth in a Handicap at this track over 1400m on 27 April. Capable of making the frame and must be respected
  80. SIMPLY STRIKING – A runner-up in a Claimer at Chantilly over 1600m 6 May. Improved latest effort, and this will be the third run back
    Summary: TIMES WARRIOR (4) did not show his best over this course and distance last month. He is clearly better than that run suggests and could bounce back to win this time. TORTISAMBERT (5) has improved this year and should be very competitive over a track and trip that clearly suit him. LANAKEN (6) is unbeaten in two starts over this distance and must be respected for that. He was in good form before a recent flop at this track and is another to consider.

    Summary: A very open lucky last race. KNOSSINGTON (6) has not run badly in his three starts and could be the right one now trying a handicap for the first time. FIREMAN (3) has only been modest in recent handicaps, but this distance suits him better and he should be very competitive in this line-up. BOTICELLI (7) was not disgraced in his first handicap and could go close to winning for Christophe Soumillon. EMINENCE GRISE (1) showed a liking for the grass with a good win last time out and could follow up under a penalty.

  3. KAMILLA – Disqualified in her last four starts, with the latest being at Castillonnès on 27 April. Probably best watched for now
  4. JEANNETTE LOUISE – In good form and was barefoot and third in a Class F harness race at Oraison over 2650m on 8 May. Better under the saddle and is not out of it
  5. JOYAU DE SOYORA – Disqualified in his last three starts, with the latest being at Graignes on 29 April.Capable of playing a minor role when wise
  6. JAKARTA DU LEVANT – Unreliable and was runner-up in Class F at Oraison over 2650m on 8 May. Could earn some minor money at best
  7. JANE LUIS PORSGUEN – Disqualified in her latest start at Oraison on 8 May. In good form before that and could play a minor role
  8. IEUSSEC EXPRESS – On a long losing streak but is in good form and was third in a Class F Mounted race at Castillonnès over 2450m on 8 May. Should contest the finish
  9. ILLUSTRATION ECLAT – Victorious in a Class G Mounted race at Vichy over 2950m on 17 February. Can be a threat in this line-up
  10. IGGY RUDLAND – Has struggled of late and was disqualified last time out at Villedieu-les-Poëles on 4 May. On a very long losing run and others are preferred
    Summary: KOUROUKA BLUE (2) has struggled recently with disqualifications in harness races. She appears better suited to mounted races and could bounce back to score. IEUSSEC EXPRESS (8) is fit and in good form, and should not be dismissed lightly. JEANNETTE LOUISE (4) has maintained her form well and should be competitive once again. ILLUSTRATION ECLAT (9) caused an upset at Vichy but would not be a surprise winner this time.

  15. MANOLITA – Yet to win a race but was not disgraced when 5th in Class C at Marseille-Borely over 3000m on 16 May. Can make the frame
  16. MAESTRO CELO – May have needed both runs this year and finished 6th in Class D at Vincennes over this distance on 15 April. Did better last year and has a place chance
  17. MOSCANTIDA PEAL – Has some fair form and finished 5th in Class D over this course and distance on 26 March. Could earn some minor money
  18. MINOS DE BERLES – Unreliable and finished fourth in Class E at Marseille-Borely over 2300m on 7 May. Capable of an upset
  19. MONARA DE GUEZ – Has disqualification issues and faulted last time out in claimer at Angoulême on 19 May. Needs to improve to win
  20. MAMBA DES DURIEZ – Yet to win a race and finished 6th in Class C at Marseille-Borély over 3000m on 16 May. More is needed to beat these rivals
  21. MELODIE DU VIROIS – Not disgraced when 5th in Class E at Cavaillon over 2525m on 8 April. Capable of a surprise in this line-up
  22. MAGIQUE STEED – A good winner on debut in Class F at Lyon-Parilly over 2100m on 10 April. Can follow up over a similar distance
    Summary: MAGIQUE STEED (12) looked good when winning on debut over a similar distance. She can follow up, although her starting position is not ideal. MEJANES (1) is improving and was a solid winner at Hyères last month. She may prefer that distance, but that remains to be seen. MADAME CLAUDE (2) has done little wrong in her two starts and should be a threat again. MANOLITA (5) is another who could be involved at the finish.

Yves Dreux is double-handed though with KELLISIA GIRL (10) who is a tough nut when barefoot and focused, and KOTKITA GIRL (7) who should not be too hastily-judged for faulting at Saint-Brieuc.   70. LALY DE JADE – Steps up in category after winning a 3200m Landivisiau Class F 2 weeks ago. Has yet to disappoint and is thoroughly capable of finishing in the mix
  71. LA CALLAS – Runner-up in 2 of last 3, most recently to LYRE D’ERABLE (6) in a 2625m Cherbourg Class F on 11 May. Not a priority but is still worth monitoring
  72. LOVE ME DE MALIGUE – Starts for first time since winning a 2650m Laval Class F on 6 March. Stays shod but will be fresh and should not be underestimated
  73. LA TERRE DU BANNEY – Sanctioned on re-entry in a 2700m Class E at Le Croise-Laroche 10 days ago and even though reconfigured still looks out of her depth
  74. LYRE D’ERABLE – Got back in the winners’ circle 11 days ago in a 2625m Cherbourg Class F. Clément Thomain’s horses excelling at present and a repeat is not out of the question
  75. LOVE PROFUSION – Disappointing so far this year, most recently 7th of 10 finishers behind LADY DAY (13) in a 2850m Laval Class E a month back. Races first-time barefoot but others still preferred
  76. LALA QUICK – Placed at Cherbourg before losing her action in a 2700m Class E at Le Croise-Laroche 10 days ago. Sports modified shoeing but others still easier to back
  77. LASKOVA – Has done nothing but improve this year, latterly 2nd of 12 in a 2850m Laval Class E on 30 April, and has been entrusted to Alexandre Abrivard for the first time. Chance
  78. LADY DU COUDOU – Got off the mark in a 2800m Chartres Class F on 13 April. In better company this time but will not be far off the mark if she stays in stride
  79. LOVELY FACE – Starts for first time since running 7th of 12 in a 2100m Vincennes Class D mid-February. Shoes on and can be ruled out
  80. LA MISS ROYALE – Unraced since being sanctioned in a 2200m Vincennes Class D last December and is going to need the race
  81. LADY DAY – Sanctioned early in a 2150m Argentan Class E on 12 May. Has a lot going for her this time though and with application can make this her own
  82. LAIA D’AVRIL – Won a brace at Reims prior to faulting, when full of running, in a 2700m Vincennes Class E mid-April. Pitted against a better bunch here but is still not to be overlooked
    Summary: Runner-up in 2 before faulting early at Argentan 10 days ago, LADY DAY (13) returns to racing left-handed, with Mathieu Mottier in the bike, and given the entry will not be easy to oppose. That said, LASKOVA (9) has turned a corner since starting to race barefoot and is close to winning another. Back in business at Cherbourg recently, LYRE D’ERABLE (6) is first-time barefoot and David Thomain will be eager to confirm. Solid in all 4 starts to date, LOVE ME DE MALIGUE (4) may not have been seen out since early-March, and races shod, but still has the quality to get in on the action.

  85. LOLLIPOP D’UNEVIE – Back under the saddle after running 4th of 8 finishers in a 2500m Class F at La Rochelle 11 days ago. Shoes on and will pose no danger
  86. LILY ROSE D’URFIST – Sanctioned in a 2850m Laval Class E late last month, on first start under the saddle, and is unlikely to shake things up
  87. LOULIPO – Disappointing so far this year, most recently sanctioned in a 2450m Caen Class E 2.5 weeks ago, and can be passed over
  88. LUTHER – Tricky sort making first start since being sanctioned in a 2700m Vincennes Class D last December and can be confidently ruled out
  89. L’ONCLE SAM – 2nd of 11 in a 2850m Laval Class E late last month. Sports modified shoeing for Le Mans bow and can play an active role
  90. L’AMIE JOSSELYN – Sanctioned early in a 2175m Vincennes Class D on 13 May. Gets a 2nd shot at racing barefoot and can play a part in the outcome if Damien Bonne keeps her focused
  91. LOOPING DU PERRE – Versatile sort looking for a first win, latterly 4th of 5 in a 2700m Vincennes Class D on 29 April. Is as honest as they come and racing barefoot can make all the difference. Chance
  92. LILA D’OCTAV – Sanctioned on return from a spell in a 2800m Tours harness Class E last Sunday. Imposed at Caen when barefoot and with application can figure prominently
  93. LOLLIPOP DU CEBE – Switches code for first time after running 5th of 10 in a 2700m Vincennes harness Class D last week and should have the wherewithal to apply pressure on LOUXOR DE GUEZ (14)
  94. LECTINA – Disappointing since winning last January, most recently sanctioned in a 2450m Caen Class E 2.5 weeks ago, and is unlikely to cause an upset
  95. L’APPASSIONATO – 9th of 11, on return to competition, in a 2450m Caen harness Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Showed considerable monte promise last season and, sporting a competitive formula, must be respected
  96. LOUXOR DE GUEZ – Sanctioned when preparing for this in a 2175m Vincennes harness Class D on 9 May. Will have come on over the winter and should be good enough to win this
    Summary: Winner of his only public appearance under the saddle, LOUXOR DE GUEZ (14) has 2 conditioners under his belt, races unshod-behind for the first time and, with Alexandre Abrivard back in the irons, can wrap this up. LOLLIPOP DU CEBE (11), in contrast, is new to the discipline but is plainly in form and Mathieu Mottier stays faithful. LOOPING DU PERRE (9) has demonstrated good monte aptitude and racing barefoot for the first time looks a serious proposition. Back in the code after returning under harness, L’APPASSIONATO (13) has also been reconfigured and the weight allowance will do him no disservice.

  99. MERIBEL – Sanctioned first time out but set the record straight when successful in a 2800m Cholet Class F 3 weeks ago. Alexandre Abrivard in the bike this time and must be taken seriously
  100. MILADY DE LA PIECE – Made short work of a 2100m Cholet Class F a month ago, first time out. Should take well to Le Mans profile and can double her money if she turns
  101. MAFALDA – Sanctioned in last 2, most recently a 2400m Nort-sur-Erdre Class E on 8 May. Is not devoid of talent but others still easier to trust
  102. MIRELLA DE LOU – Sprang a 25/1 surprise when successful in a 2900m Amiens Class F on 3 May but a repeat seems most unlikely
  103. MOUNTAIN – Got off the mark in a 2800m Vire Class F a fortnight ago. Will find this a tougher task and is unlikely to spice things up
  104. MY DARLING DU RIS – Made up for debut sanction when victorious in a 2850m Laval Class F on 18 April. Will not be available at 15/1 this time and pulling off the double is well within her capacity
  105. MERRY RIVER – Should not be condemned for faulting in a 2700m Class E at La Capelle 2 weeks ago. Is plainly capable and will be no pushover if Benjamin Rochard gets her off on the right foot
  106. MALAVISTA SOMOLLI – Sanctioned, on first start since the spell, in a 2800m Chartres Class E on 7 May and is not about to shake things up
  107. MISS LOVE BERRY – Won a 2000m Rambouillet Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Back on a hard surface and looks no more than a minor place prospect
  108. MA BELLA DE JED – Last but one in a 2400m Nort-sur-Erdre Class E on 8 May. Has never delivered going left-handed and is not about to break the mould
  109. MUNIA – Comfortably won a 2700m Graignes Class F on comeback in early-April. Makes Le Mans bow with morale intact and will be expected to contest the finish
  110. MALIKA DU SURF – Disappointing 5th of 6 finishers in a 2575m Saint-Brieuc Class E on 2 May and has a lot more to find
    Summary: A winner a month back at the first time of asking, MILADY DE LA PIECE (4) goes left-handed on this occasion but looks a progressive sort and has a realistic chance of staying undefeated. He will still come under fire from MY DARLING DU RIS (8) who pleasantly surprised at Laval last month, and the interesting Philippe Allaire-trained MUNIA (13) who got off the mark at Graignes on her first start since last summer. MANDARINA DE LOU (2) faces a stiffer test than she did at Laon but has the look of a good horse in the making and must be respected.
