- LORCAN – 7th on the one run this year over 4300m at Cagnes-Sur-Mer in a Listed hurdle on January 5th. Won on debut over hurdles and is hard to ignore
- ROSE DU RAZ – 7th on her only run this year over 3600m at La Teste on April 24th in a Class 3 hurdle. Not the most reliable
Summary: The classy KYROV (3) should be too smart for his rivals. He was second in the Grand Steeple-Chase De Compiegne (Grade 2) in early November on his last run, the revert to hurdles should not be off-putting. JIBSON (4) scored over track and trip in a Class 3 hurdle earlier this month and will have no fitness concern. LORCAN (8) is lightly raced over hurdles and is one to consider. CHOUAN (5) makes up the shortlist.

C8 – PRIX LAUNAY-VIOLETTE – 4300m (a2m1/2) – TURF – Handicap – Steeple Chase – EUR € 27,000 - BALLY STONE – Unplaced on the last run, 2nd before that over 3800m at Meral in a Class 5 chase on April 20th. Unlikely to threaten
- BUBBLE STOCK – Won on the last run over 3800m in a claiming chase at Pontivy on May 1st. Can follow up
- FAN OF SEA – Three unplaced efforts since a 4th over 3800m in a Class 3 handicap chase at Angers on February 26th. Can make the frame at nice odds
- SIRLIGHT – Creditable 4th last time, over 4000m in a handicap chase at Le Lion D’Angers on May 6th. Hard to rule out
- BABAORUM – 2nd on the one run last year over 4300m at Granville on June 23rd in a Class 5 chase. This a stiffer test
- DIFFLY RIVER ANN – Two unplaced runs of late, the latter over 3800m in a handicap chase at Angers on November 18th. Won at Auteuil last year and is worth considering
- KEEP YOUR HEAD UP – Got off the mark over 3800m in a claiming chase at Bordeaux Le Bouscat on April 5th. This is a tougher test
- BLACK MILORD TAVEL – Won last time over 4300m in a Class 4 chase at Pontchateau on May 1st. Capable of being involved
- GRAFITY BAIE – Unplaced last time, he won before that over 3500m at Auteuil in a Class 3 handicap chase on March 23rd. In the mix
- AMSSETOU – 5th on the one run this year over 4200m at Loudeac in a Class 3 chase on April 27th. Has work to do to feature
- INLE DE LA NOVERIE – Four unplaced runs of late, the latter over 4000m at Le Lion D’Angers in a Class 3 handicap chase on April 21st. Look for an alternative
- DA VINCI DEL RAIS – Unplaced on both runs this year, 6th on the latest over 4300m at Pontcahteau in a Class 4 chase on May 1st. Makes no appeal
Summary: Recent winner BUBBLE STOCK (2) will be fitter after a recent win in a claiming chase last time out at Pontivy three weeks ago. That was his first run for almost 9 months, and he is preferred over SIRLIGHT (4), who shaped well when fourth in a handicap chase at Le Lion D’Angers on May 6th. DIFFLY RIVER ANN (6) has a couple of unplaced runs of late, but is capable of making the top three. BLACK MILORD TAVEL (8) won 21 days ago at Pontchateau and should not be ignored.

C1 – PRIX DE LA BRASSERIE LE SAINT JULIEN – 2950m (a2m) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 23,000
- KALIKA DU LEVANT – Returns to a previous configuration after easily winning a 2800m Cholet Class F late last month. Anthony Barrier in the bike this time and has a realistic chance of finishing close
- KARA DE PIERREPONT – It took some time but returned to winning ways in a 2875m Meslay Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Benjamin Rochard stays faithful and while unlikely to repeat is not one to be ruled out either
- KOREA – Back under harness after finishing last of 9 in a 2800m Cholet monte Class E late last month. Barefoot for the occasion but still not an obvious choice
- KALMIA BOSS – Has taken her game to a new level this year, latterly 2nd of 10 to KARA DE PIERREPONT (2) in a 2875m Meslay Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Should take well to Le Mans profile and can expect the lion’s share of support
- KALY D’EOLE – Sanctioned in a 2750m Ecommoy Class E 11 days ago. Is not entirely without merit but others still preferred
- KANELLE STAR – 5th of 8 in a 2700m Vincennes Class E on 3 May. Is plainly headed in the right direction and, shod once again, must be respected
- KOTKITA GIRL – Lost her action when heavily-backed in a 2575m Saint-Brieuc Class E on 2 May. Form is not in doubt though, has never failed to deliver at Le Mans, and must be considered a serious player
- KALINKA DU BREUIL – Comfortable winner of a 2900m Amiens Class E early last month. Comes here fresh but may just be taking on too much
- KASTA DU RIB – Ran 4th at Cherbourg last month prior to coming 2nd of 11 in a 2150m Argentan Class E 10 days ago. Can prove a handful but is confirmed here and has a decent chance of making first 5
- KELLISIA GIRL – Would have finished closer than 4th in a 2175m Vincennes Class E on 11 April had she not faulted. Is clearly in top form and can challenge for the win if she stays in stride
- KHALEESI LA VIE – Encouraging 4th of 16 in a 2800m Rambouillet Class E on 11 May. Will appreciate the return to a hard surface and is worth keeping an eye on
- KAPELLA – Sanctioned on return to competition in a 2800m Rambouillet Class E 2.5 weeks ago and is unlikely to generate much interest
- KORIGANE D’ERABLE – 3rd of 7 in a 2575m Saint-Brieuc Class E 3 weeks ago. Has no left-handed references and in this company will struggle to make her mark
- KINOU DAB – Has 2 races under her belt since the spell, latterly last of 12 in a 2100m Vincennes Class E last week. Will be fully fit by now, enjoys a fine entry, and Damien Bonne will be eager to take advantage of the race conditions
Summary: In excellent shape and shod as she was when victorious at Laval, KALMIA BOSS (4) will be reined by Matthieu Abrivard for the first time and has every chance of imposing. Yves Dreux is double-handed though with KELLISIA GIRL (10) who is a tough nut when barefoot and focused, and KOTKITA GIRL (7) who should not be too hastily-judged for faulting at Saint-Brieuc. Late last month, KALIKA DU LEVANT (1) won her first race for over a year and even with front pads fitted this time, is unlikely to disappoint.

C2 – PRIX PASSENAUD – 2950m (a2m) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 23,000 - KACI DU LUPIN – Opened his 2025 account in a 2850m Maure-de-Bretagne Class E a month back. Keeps improving and is easy to fancy for the double
- KAIROUAN GLAM – Has not raced since winning a 3250m Saumur Class F on 20 March. Is not cut out for this level of competition and best to keep one’s powder dry
- KRICK DE CONDE – Won 2 of last 3, latterly dominating a 2800m Cholet Class F on 28 April. Takes a hike up the category-ladder however and chances appear limited
- KILOU – 2nd of 13 in a 2400m Amiens Class E on 3 May. Is pitted against a superior lot this time and others preferred
- KANAK DU BOCAGE – Reverts to racing with front pads fitted after being sanctioned in a 2750m Ecommoy Class E 11 days ago. Can trot but in this category will have too much to do
- KASH PRIDE – Unable to confirm Alencon success when sanctioned in a 2700m Cluny Class E 2 weeks ago. Is never far from springing a surprise though and will have his supporters
- KINO DE LAUMIERE – 6th of 11 behind KARATE KING (14) in a 2700m Vincennes Class E on 2 May. Stays shod for the occasion but in current condition is easy to like for a minor place cheque
- KROSS FINGERS – 3rd at Maure-de-Bretagne but failed to confirm when 7th of 11 finishers in a 2800m Rambouillet Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Is back on a hard surface, will be fully race-fit, and should not be far off the mark
- KARMA TEJY – Raced respectably in Paris before finishing 7th of 14 behind KASSOUMAYE (12) in a 2750m Ecommoy Class E on 11 May. Has otherwise been in fine fettle and has a realistic chance of making first 5
- KLEMS DE JAVIE – Honest type that ran 5th of 10 in a 2575m Saint-Brieuc Class E on 2 May. Is unlikely to get his nose in front but can nevertheless get a look-in
- KER DE TOUES – Ran 2nd at Nancy before coming 5th of 11 in a 2875m Enghien Class D on 19 April. Trainer/driver could not have wished for a better entry and will be determined to strike while the iron is hot
- KASSOUMAYE – Reassuring 3rd of 14 in a 2750m Ecommoy Class E 11 days ago. Is not everyone’s cup of tea but with Benjamin Rochard in the bike again, will be assured a competitive drive
- KANDINSKY – Last but one on comeback in a 2825m Chartres Class D on 27 April. Still in conditioning mode and can be passed over
- KARATE KING – 4th of 11 in a 2700m Vincennes Class E on 2 May. Faces a less-exalted lot this time and can challenge for the win
Summary: Difficult to knock when focused and unshod, KACI DU LUPIN (1) made no bones about imposing at Maure-de-Bretagne a month back and in similar shape will be expected to repeat. Convincing at Vincennes recently, and wonderfully-engaged, KARATE KING (14) returns to the provinces with a good hand to play. KER DE TOUES (11) has been holding his own lately and a repeat of his latest effort should see him competitive for a spot on the podium. KROSS FINGERS (8) may not be the most reliable of horses but when focused is no pushover.

- JUMBY BAY – Reassured at Le Croise-Laroche before finishing 8th of 10 in a 2700m Graignes Class E on 13 April. Reverts to a previous configuration and should figure prominently at the business end of the race
- JUSTE DU GERS – Sports 4 pads for first time after winning a 2825m Durtal Class E last Sunday. Is a hardy mare when focused and looks main threat to JULIE DU CLOS (12)
- JEEDAYA DU VIVIER – Faces first objective of new season after coming 8th of 17 in a 2800m Cholet Class E last week. Is not easy to fault in the day’s configuration and despite the hike in category should not be overlooked
- JADE HERINIERE – Unremarkable 7th of 11 behind JULIE DU CLOS (12) in a 2700m Vincennes Class D 3 weeks ago. Has looked rather ordinary of late and chances slim
- JOY DU CARNOIS – Going well when sanctioned in a 2700m Vincennes Class D on 2 May. Races barefoot for first time and with application could pleasantly surprise
- JOY DU RIF – Makes first appearance since finishing 11th of 13 behind JADE HERINIERE (5) in a 2800m Rambouillet Class E on 30 March and can expect to have few friends
- JASMINE DE JYR – Close 2nd of 16 in a 2825m Chartres Class E on 7 May. In better company this time but in present form is easy to recommend for a first-5 cheque
- JULIA BELLA – Sanctioned at Cholet before finishing last of 10 in a 3225m Vitre Class E on 27 April. Is significantly better than that, is confirmed at the venue, and must be considered a major player
- JALMAROSA – Last of 11 when preparing for this in a 2150m Argentan Class F 10 days ago. Front shoes off this time but others still preferred
- JUNE D’ERABLE – Ran good 3rd at Lisieux but below-par 7th of 16 in a 2700m Graignes Class F 3 weeks ago. Returns to racing barefoot and given the stable’s form, must be afforded respect
- JULIE DU CLOS – Failed to pull off the hat-trick when 4th of 11 in a 2700m Vincennes Class D 3 weeks ago but currently looks head-and-shoulders better than the opposition and can impose
- JOSEPHA CHOUP – 6th of 14 in a 2950m Toulouse Class E on 25 April. Shod to preference this time and is in with a realistic shout of making first 4
- JOCONDE DE RHEVE – Has not been seen out since running 2nd of 15 in a 2800m Pontchateau Class E on 2 January and is going to need the race
Summary: Enjoying something of a resurgence this year, JULIE DU CLOS (12) is shod as she was when imposing twice this term and can add another victory to her 2025 tally. Solid as a rock at Durtal, JUSTE DU GERS (3) sports 4 pads for the first time and steps back up in category with a lot to offer. Arguably better when barefoot, JULIA BELLA (9) should nevertheless not be condemned for her last 2 runs and, winner here last summer, must be taken very seriously indeed. JOSEPHA CHOUP (13) consistently gives everything she has and is shod to preference for her Le Mans debut.

- JOCKEY – Not once out of first 5 in as many starts this year, latterly 5th of 10 in a 2450m Caen Class D 2.5 weeks ago. Is being aimed higher this time but sports front pads and should nevertheless hold his own
- JAGERBOMB – Climbs the category-ladder after running 2nd of 14 in a 3200m Fougeres Class E 3 weeks ago and can expect to have few friends
- JET DES MALBERAUX – Won 2 of 3 before being sanctioned in a 2700m Meral amateurs Class H on 11 May. Takes a hike in category and even though reconfigured is not about to cause an upset
- JOSHUA PEJI – Has not been seen out since being sanctioned in a 2700m Vincennes Class C late-December. Is barefoot for re-entry and with application could spring a small surprise
- JORLANDO – Failed to confirm Rambouillet victory when sanctioned in a 2700m Vincennes Class D on 29 April. Has otherwise been enjoying a fine run of form and Alexandre Abrivard will be keen to put things right
- JAMES MADRIK – In the frame in 2 return runs, latterly 3rd of 15 behind JUST FOR FUN (11) in a 2800m Cholet Class E on 28 April. Should be at peak fitness by now and can bring the fight to JUST D’ACADIE (12)
- JEWEL D’HERMES – Last of 14 in a 2800m Cholet Class E last week. Has other priorities and can be ruled out
- JAMAIS – Failed to confirm April run when 6th of 11 finishers in a 2150m Argentan Class F 10 days ago. Has merit though and can play a small role
- JOSS CAPELLO – Has 2 runs under his belt since the spell, most recently 5th of 16 in a 2850m Laval Class D 3 weeks ago. Has won 2 of 3 when barefoot this term and must be retained
- JUST FOR FUN – Won at Cholet late-April and followed up with 2nd of 15 in a 2800m Class E, also at Cholet, on 28 April. Thrives with Benjamin Rochard and should logically finish in the mix
- JUST D’ACADIE – Won well at Cherbourg before running good 2nd of 13 in a 2700m Vincennes Class D late-April. Is close to the limit of earnings and Théo Duvaldestin will be eager to make hay
- JEAN MADRIK – Faithful element that ran 2nd of 16 in a 2150m Enghien claimer late last month but at this level will have little to contribute
- JEREMY D’AS – Faces first objective of the season after running 7th of 16 behind JOSS CAPELLO (10) in a 2850m Laval Class D 3 weeks ago. Matthieu Abrivard in the bike and must be regarded a serious proposition
Summary: Back at the top of his game following an early-season break, JUST D’ACADIE (12) enjoys a decent entry here and can wrap this up if he takes to the new conditions. Théo Duvaldestin will still want to be wary of a barefoot JAMES MADRIK (7) who is plainly close to his race, and the ideally-engaged JEREMY D’AS (14) who is never to be underestimated when barefoot. JORLANDO (6) sports modified shoeing and will be expected to make amends for his Vincennes sanction.

- LION DU HOULBET – Sanctioned on comeback in a 2850m Laval Class E on 24 April. Showed his class last season, has been reconfigured and looks a more serious proposition this time around
- L’AS DE SMARVES – Runner-up in 2 of last 3, latterly a 2800m Vichy Class E on 11 May. Appreciates these conditions and will be no easy touch
- LEADER DE L’AUMOY – Sanctioned in last 3, latterly a 2850m Vincennes claimer 9 days ago, and even though reconfigured others are still easier to back
- LUTIN DE BAFFAIS – Showed considerable improvement a fortnight ago when 2nd of 12 in a 2800m Chartres Class E. Not a priority but is not to be underestimated either
- LITTLEKING FOXGLEN – Sanctioned in both starts this term, most recently a 2150m Argentan Class E 10 days ago. Front shoes off but still not a concern
- LYNX GRIFF – Respectable 4th of 10, a place behind LIPTON DU VIVIER (10), in a 2850m Laval Class E on 24 April. Pitted against better this time but can still play a small part
- LYNX DU RUISSEAU – Won over course and distance early-April before confirming in a 2850m Laval Class E 3 weeks ago and Matthieu Abrivard will be justifiably expecting another big run. Claim
- LIPTON DU VIVIER – Quality colt that ran 3rd of 10 in a 2850m Laval Class E on 24 April. More competitively shod this time and on good behaviour can challenge for the win
- LOVING DREAM – Showed improvement when 4th of 10 finishers in a 2150m Argentan Class E on 12 May. Goes barefoot for first time and should not be overlooked
- LOHENGRIN – Has taken his game up a notch this year, most recently running 3rd of 13 in a 2725m Graignes Class E on 13 April. Comes here fresh and will not be far from the action if he takes to the new conditions
Summary: It may have taken a little time but LYNX DU RUISSEAU (9) has come into himself this term and is thoroughly capable of pulling off the hat-trick. Matthieu Abrivard will still want to keep a keen eye on the reconfigured LIPTON DU VIVIER (10) who reassured at Laval a month back, and LION DU HOULBET (3) who sports front pads in a bid to bounce back from his comeback sanction. L’AS DE SMARVES (4) can prove a handful but he left a good impression in Vichy and has never disappointed at Le Mans.

- LAIA D’AVRIL – Won a brace at Reims prior to faulting, when full of running, in a 2700m Vincennes Class E mid-April. Pitted against a better bunch here but is still not to be overlooked
Summary: Runner-up in 2 before faulting early at Argentan 10 days ago, LADY DAY (13) returns to racing left-handed, with Mathieu Mottier in the bike, and given the entry will not be easy to oppose. That said, LASKOVA (9) has turned a corner since starting to race barefoot and is close to winning another. Back in business at Cherbourg recently, LYRE D’ERABLE (6) is first-time barefoot and David Thomain will be eager to confirm. Solid in all 4 starts to date, LOVE ME DE MALIGUE (4) may not have been seen out since early-March, and races shod, but still has the quality to get in on the action.

- LOVELY D’OYSE – Switches back to the ridden code after being sanctioned in a 2800m Cholet harness Class F on 13 May. Has placed just once in 3 monte starts but sports a new formula, with Paul Ploquin in the saddle, and can get a look-in

- LILY ROSE D’URFIST – Sanctioned in a 2850m Laval Class E late last month, on first start under the saddle, and is unlikely to shake things up
- LOULIPO – Disappointing so far this year, most recently sanctioned in a 2450m Caen Class E 2.5 weeks ago, and can be passed over
- LUTHER – Tricky sort making first start since being sanctioned in a 2700m Vincennes Class D last December and can be confidently ruled out

- L’APPASSIONATO – 9th of 11, on return to competition, in a 2450m Caen harness Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Showed considerable monte promise last season and, sporting a competitive formula, must be respected
- LOUXOR DE GUEZ – Sanctioned when preparing for this in a 2175m Vincennes harness Class D on 9 May. Will have come on over the winter and should be good enough to win this
Summary: Winner of his only public appearance under the saddle, LOUXOR DE GUEZ (14) has 2 conditioners under his belt, races unshod-behind for the first time and, with Alexandre Abrivard back in the irons, can wrap this up. LOLLIPOP DU CEBE (11), in contrast, is new to the discipline but is plainly in form and Mathieu Mottier stays faithful. LOOPING DU PERRE (9) has demonstrated good monte aptitude and racing barefoot for the first time looks a serious proposition. Back in the code after returning under harness, L’APPASSIONATO (13) has also been reconfigured and the weight allowance will do him no disservice.

- MISS LOVE BERRY – Won a 2000m Rambouillet Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Back on a hard surface and looks no more than a minor place prospect
- MA BELLA DE JED – Last but one in a 2400m Nort-sur-Erdre Class E on 8 May. Has never delivered going left-handed and is not about to break the mould
- MUNIA – Comfortably won a 2700m Graignes Class F on comeback in early-April. Makes Le Mans bow with morale intact and will be expected to contest the finish
- MALIKA DU SURF – Disappointing 5th of 6 finishers in a 2575m Saint-Brieuc Class E on 2 May and has a lot more to find
Summary: A winner a month back at the first time of asking, MILADY DE LA PIECE (4) goes left-handed on this occasion but looks a progressive sort and has a realistic chance of staying undefeated. He will still come under fire from MY DARLING DU RIS (8) who pleasantly surprised at Laval last month, and the interesting Philippe Allaire-trained MUNIA (13) who got off the mark at Graignes on her first start since last summer. MANDARINA DE LOU (2) faces a stiffer test than she did at Laon but has the look of a good horse in the making and must be respected.
