R1 ENGHIEN [L-H]
C1 – PRIX D’ESPELETTE – 2875m (a2m) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 46,000
- KLARCK DE VANDEL – Won smartly at Laval a month ago before running 3rd of 15 to KOWEIT DE CHENU (15) in a 3100m Nort-sur-Erdre Class E 2 weeks later and will need to find more
- KANKAL – Takes on a less-exalted lot after having run 5th of 10 finishers in a 2700m Vincennes Class D a fortnight day and is not incapable of making his Enghien debut a winning one
- KOUROU LATIN – Made up for Maure-de-Bretagne effort when 2nd of 11 in a 2700m Vincennes Class E 3 weeks ago. In better company here but has never disappointed when barefoot and looks a decent first-5 prospect
- KEOPS TILLAYE – Last but one in a 2700m Class D at La Capelle on 4 May. JMB in the bike this time but others still preferred
- KRYSTAL PIYA – Disappointing 7th in 19 April race of reference but reassured 3 weeks ago when 2nd of 14 in a 2450m Caen Class D and will generate some interest
- KING EVOLUTION – Returns to a track he appreciates after running 2nd of 16 to KHEO VIVANCIERE (13) in a 2800m Rambouillet Class E a fortnight back. Unlikely to win this but should nevertheless finish in the mix
- KLASSIC DREAM – 4th over track and trip prior to being sanctioned in a 2950m Le Mans Class E on 8 May. Is plainly in shape though and with application should finish close
- KHEOPS AIREMME – Makes Enghien debut after dominating a 3000m Marseille-Borely class E 3 weeks ago but is being aimed too high this time
- KANKAN – Disappointing of late, latterly sanctioned in a 2475m Niort Class D last Sunday, and can be passed over
- KASSIDY KID – Ran respectably to finish 5th of 14 behind KRYSTAL PIYA (5) in a 2450m Caen Class D on 4 May but still not an obvious choice
- KIWI CHARENTAIS – Got back in the game at Le Mans on 8 May when 4th of 18 in a 2950m Class E. François Lagadeuc in the bike this time and will be afforded every chance
- KENDO JIEL – 4th of 9 in a 2700m Class D at La Capelle on 4 May. Shod as he was when imposing here last season and should not be entirely ruled out
- KHEO VIVANCIERE – Surprise winner of a 2800m Rambouillet Class E on 11 May. Has never made his mark at this level and is not about to start now
- KENDRICK – 3rd of 14 in a 2800m Pontchateau Class D on 16 April. Put on quite the show that day, comes here fresh, and must be afforded respect
- KOWEIT DE CHENU – 6th over course and distance in April before winning a 3100m Nort-sur-Erdre Class E on 8 May. Faces a stiffer test this time but sports a new configuration and could pleasantly surprise
- KINGMAN DELO – Won over 2150m here before running 5th of 18, a place behind KIWI CHARENTAIS (11), in a 2950m Le Mans Class E on 8 May. Has a lot going his way here and can impose
Summary: A number in contention here but it is hard to ignore the dependable KINGMAN DELO (16) who imposed over shorter here in late-March and who benefits from an excellent entry at the limit of earnings. He will still encounter resistance from KANKAL (2) who will not have foreign horses to contend with this time, and KLASSIC DREAM (7) who goes well for Yoann Lebourgeois. KENDRICK (14) gave a reassuringly good account of himself at Pontchateau last time and will be expected to confirm.

C2 – PRIX DE SARE – 2875m (a2m) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 40,000 - MADE OF DREAMS – 9th of 11 finishers behind MANILLE D’ERABLE (7) in a 2150m Class D here, on debut, late last month and is unlikely to garner much support
- MYRINA DU PONT – 8th of 10 finishers on return to competition in a 2875m Meslay-du-Maine Class F mid-month. JMB in the bike this time and can make this her own as long as she keeps trotting
- MEDEE DU CONROY – Failed to confirm Challans performance when sanctioned in a 2700m Vincennes Class D 11 days ago and has no possible chance
- MAGIE MESLOISE – Won a 2750m Elbeuf Class G, on re-entry, earlier this month. Has earned the right to step up in category and looks thoroughly capable of winning a race of this nature
- MABELLISSIME – Won on debut at Lisieux before running 3rd of 13, a place behind MEDUSA DU PONT (8), in a 2700m Class E at La Capelle on 8 May. Has buckets of potential and is not to be underestimated
- MARIBEL MAGNIFIQUE – Unable to confirm Amiens success when sanctioned in a 2700m Vincennes Class D 9 days ago, and others easier to trust
- MANILLE D’ERABLE – 6th over shorter here late-April prior to faulting early in a 2150m Argentan Class D 12 days ago. Has no left-handed references though and others preferred
- MEDUSA DU PONT – Imposed at first time of asking before running 2nd of 13 in a 2700m Class E at La Capelle on 8 May. Is clearly a progressive filly and is in with a reasonable chance of winning this
- MAYA DE KACY – Got off the mark at 3rd time of asking, easily dominating a 2700m Graignes Class F 3.5 weeks ago, and should again be competitive for a place in the frame
- MELODY DELADOU – 5th of 8 finishers in a 2850m Maure-de-Bretagne Class D a month ago. Has demonstrated decent aptitude and while not a priority can nevertheless pick up a minor place cheque
- MARELLA DALEO – Got off the mark in a 2675m Le Mont-Saint-Michel claimer on 27 April and in this company will struggle to make her presence felt
- MUSE DE MONTCEAU – Capable filly making first start since running 2nd of 10 in a 2825m Class E at Le Croise-Laroche on 31 March. Unlikely to lose her maiden tag but has the wherewithal to make first 5
Summary: Significantly better than her formcard would suggest, MYRINA DU PONT (2) will be reined by JMB this time and can wrap this up if he keeps her trotting. They can still expect to meet opposition from MAGIE MESLOISE (4) who has done everything right so far, and the well-related MEDUSA DU PONT (8) who looks a serious filly in the making. MABELLISSIME (5), full-sister to Kaviarissime, finished a place behind her at La Capelle and will be competitive for a place on the podium.

C3 – PRIX DE LA PORTE DE SAINT-OUEN – 2875m (a2m) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 40,000 - MYAGO CAYENNAIS – Well-related colt that ran 2nd of 12 in a 2200m Tours Class F on 13 April, first time out. Has had ample time to get back in shape and should logically bring the fight to MATADOR (8)
- MARS COBBA – 2nd on turf debut 8 days before winning a 2825m Class F at Le Croise-Laroche late last month. In better company here but can still challenge for a place in the frame
- MAESTRO D’ELFE – Sanctioned, on return from a break, in a 2700m Vincennes Class D 11 days ago and is unlikely to influence the result
- MERMOZ – Lost his maiden status mid-month in a 2875m Meslay-du-Maine Class F. Unlikely to repeat but should nevertheless hold his own
- MONEYTIME FLAC – Got back in the game on re-entry when 2nd of 11 in a 2800m Chartres Class E 2.5 weeks ago, but faces a much stiffer test this time
- MAESTRO DE L’AUMOY – 3rd of 10 in a 2850m Class D at Maure-de-Bretagne on 23 April. Comes here fresh and on good behaviour will not be far off the mark
- MICHEL MARTIN – 4th of 10, a place behind MAESTRO DE L’AUMOY (6), in a 2850m Class D at Maure-de-Bretagne on 23 April. Is not without merit and looks a respectable first-5 prospect
- MATADOR – Easy winner of both starts so far, most recently a 2800m Cholet Class F on 13 May. Enjoys a good entry and will once again take all the beating
Summary: Winner on debut a month ago, MATADOR (8) met no opposition at Cholet recently and will be expected to make it 3 on the trot. Leading the opposition, MYAGO CAYENNAIS (1) comes here fresh following a fine debut and with JMB reining will be no soft touch. MARS COBBA (2) has been thoroughly professional to date and Franck Ouvrie will be all out to confirm his Croise-Laroche victory. MAESTRO DE L’AUMOY (6) left a good impression at Maure-de-Bretagne a month ago and will have a lot to contribute if Mathieu Mottier manages to keep him focused.

C4 – PRIX DE LA VIENNE – 2150m (a1m1/4) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 35,000 - LIGHTNING JIEL – 5th of 10 finishers on re-entry in a 2150m Argentan Class E on 12 May. Will have come on for the race, has been reconfigured, and while not a priority will nevertheless generate some interest
- LUXOR D’AUVILLIER – Has done nothing but improve this term, latterly 2nd of 17 in a 2200m Caen Class E in late-April. Well-positioned in front and Franck Nivard can be confident of a big performance
- LICAR SOMOLLI – Ran 2nd at Graignes before being sanctioned in a 2450m Caen Class E 3 weeks ago. Is plainly in top shape and with application will be dangerous
- L’ECLAIR DE PLAY – Has twice failed to confirm Argentan success, latterly 6th of 9 finishers in a 2800m Bernay Class E on 1 May, and can be passed over
- LEWIS DE GINAI – 7th of 14 in a 2450m Caen Class E on 4 May. Is never far from faulting but benefits from a good entry and Yoann Lebourgeois will be eager to seize the opportunity
- LOVELY DREAM – Has turned a corner since starting to race barefoot, latterly victorious in a 3100m Nort-sur-Erdre Class F on 8 May. In better company here but can still play an active role
- LINO DU POMMEREUX – Last of 9 on comeback in a 2875m Meslay-du-Maine Class D on 5 May. Is barefoot with David Thomain reining but winter numbers do nothing to inspire confidence
- LE TAJ MAHAL – Drops to a more reasonable level after running 7th of 9 finishers in a 2700m Vincennes Class D on 16 May. Alexandre Abrivard in the bike this time and in this company can return to winning ways
- LUCKY MAN – A question of all-or-nothing over recent months, most recently sanctioned in a 2850m Hyeres Class F 2 weeks ago. Takes on a decent lot here and the draw will do him no favours
- L’ESPOIR DE KYRN – Put on a good show to run 2nd of 10 in a 2600m Meslay-du-Maine Class E 9 days ago. Is patently close to his race and Matthieu Abrivard will be keen to oblige
- L’ALPHA DE LAUNI – Returns to racing barefoot after running 5th of 9 finishers in a 2700m Class E at Le Croise-Laroche 12 days ago and will have few takers
- LOVE ME HAUFOR – Put 3 sanctions behind him when 2nd of 11 in a 2825m Chartres Class E on 27 April but has never delivered here and is not about to buck the trend
Summary: Unlucky at La Rochelle before taking on a superior lot across town 8 days ago, LE TAJ MAHAL (8) faces a more realistic task this time and with application can bring home the bacon. LICAR SOMOLLI (3) benefits from a better draw on the front line, sports front pads for the occasion, and on good behaviour will be no easy touch. LUXOR D’AUVILLIER (2) is still chasing that elusive first win but went close at Caen last month and makes his Enghien debut with a good hand to play. L’ESPOIR DE KYRN (10) gave a reassuringly good account recently and in similar shape will not be far from the action.

C5 – PRIX DU RHONE – 2150m (a1m1/4) – Class A Race – Harness – EUR € 71,000 - DOWHATYOUDODOWELL – Steps up in category after running 4th of 15 in a 2450m Caen monte Class B 2 weeks ago. Barefoot this time but still not an obvious choice
- EDGAR SABA – 8th to JAZZMAN (GER) (3) in 14 May race of reference, on first start since February. Will have come on for the race and from the 2-spot must be considered a contender
- JAZZMAN (GER) – Surprise, but convincing, winner of a 2700m Vincennes Gr.3 10 days ago. Handed a good draw on front line and although unlikely to repeat can nevertheless finish in the mix
- KARLITO – Sanctioned on comeback in a 2800m Cholet Class C on 28 April. Hind shoes off this time, and drawn well, but others still easier to back
- JAGUAR MARANCOURT – Showed improvement when 5th of 16 behind JILORD VIVA (8) in a 2100m Vincennes Class D 3 weeks ago. Has pulled a good number and, if applied, can pick up a cheque
- KILLIAM FROMENTRO – Runner-up to JAZZMAN (GER) (3) in a 2700m Vincennes Gr.3 10 days ago. Is plainly close to his race, JMB knows him better now, and may just prove the pick of the field
- GASOLIN – Has not been seen out since finishing last but one in a 2100m Vincennes Class A on 3 January and is going to need the race
- JILORD VIVA – Returns to a track he likes after coming 4th of 16 to JAZZMAN (GER) (3) in a 2700m Vincennes Gr.3 10 days ago. Handed the 8-spot but will be dangerous if his driver positions him early
- KELLE BEAUTE – Tricky but talented mare that was sanctioned when full of running in a 2850m Vincennes Gr.2 on 3 May. Mathieu Mottier in the bike this time and can get in on the action if he defies the draw
- KAPORAL DES FORGES – Encouraging 4th of 11 to RIKITA JP (11) in a 2875m Class A here on 19 April. Returns with morale intact but from the 10-spot is unlikely to shake things up
- RIKITA JP – Picked up after the spell where he left off, winning a 2875m Class A here on 19 April. Will have progressed for the run and can confirm if Matthieu Abrivard successfully negotiates the start
- CORAL COGER – Sanctioned in both return runs, latterly 14 May race of reference, and can expect to have few friends
- KAVALA DE PADD – Sanctioned early but nevertheless showed her form in a 2875m Class B here late last month. Pulled a tough number but showed her class at Vincennes in April and must be taken seriously
- JET EXPRESS – In the frame in last 3, most recently 3rd of 16 to JAZZMAN (GER) (3) in a 2700m Vincennes Gr.3 10 days ago. Shoes back on and starts on back row, but is still worth monitoring
- JOLIE STAR – Unable to confirm April victory when sanctioned in a 2100m Vincennes Class D earlier in the month. Starts wide on 2nd line and can be passed over
Summary: Although yet to win for his new yard, KILLIAM FROMENTRO (6) left a very good impression in a Gr.3 across town mid-month and drops down the category-ladder with every chance of getting his nose in front this time. It’s by no means a done deal though considering how RIKITA JP (11) has been performing this year. Better-positioned on the front line, EDGAR SABA (2) has nothing to prove at this level and, with a race under his belt should be able to get back down to business. Configured as she was when 2nd in a mares-only Gr.2 last month, KAVALA DE PADD (13) takes on the boys this time but still looks a player. Very consistent in the day’s configuration, JILORD VIVA (8) starts wide but is patently in great shape and unlikely to disappoint.

C6 – PRIX DU PONT DU GARIGLIANO – 2875m (a2m) – Class D Race – Mounted – EUR € 59,000 - IXOR DE L’ITON – Last of 15, on first start since the spell, in a 2650m Alencon Class F late last month and is not about to spring a surprise
- FIRST DE ROUGEMONT – Last of 13 in a 2900m Amiens harness Class F conditioner on 26 April. Shoes off this time but already seems out of his depth
- HEVA BLONDE – 12th of 14 on re-entry in a 2975m Jallais harness Class F 3 weeks ago. Can trot but is never far from faulting, although racing barefoot will do her prospects no disservice
- IAGO ROSE – Fine servant that ran 3rd of 7, a place behind ILEO PIERJI (11), in a 2700m Vincennes Class D on 6 May. Has been a revelation in the ridden code and must be afforded significant respect
- HEADLINE FAC – Good, consistent mare that ran 3rd of 8 in a 2175m Vincennes Class E 8 days ago. Thrives with Adrien Lamy and even with no Enghien references must still be taken seriously
- INSTINCTIF – 3rd of 9 to HUMOUR FESTIF (12) here, then 14th of 18 when preparing for this in a 2950m harness Class E at Le Mans on 8 May. Is shod to preference and with Damien Bonne in the saddle will be afforded every chance
- FOREVER D’ARIANE – Unexceptional 5th of 13 in a 2850m Laval Class D on 30 April and returns to the monte code with limited chances
- HANIELLE CREPIN – Unraced since pulling off the hat-trick in a 2200m Vincennes Class E last September. Is barefoot for re-entry and will be expected to contest the finish
- FILLMORE – Back under the saddle after finishing 11th of 14 in a 2100m Vincennes Class D 10 days ago. Sports a fresh configuration but has placed just once in 3 ridden starts and cannot be considered a concern
- FAUST DE BEYLEV – Useful on a good day but has not been seen out since being sanctioned in a Class D over course and distance last August and is going to need the race
- ILEO PIERJI – Runner-up in 3 of last 4, latterly 2nd of 7 in a 2700m Vincennes Class D on 6 May. Has previously crossed swords with HUMOUR FESTIF (12) and it will not be long before he gets back into the winners’ enclosure
- HUMOUR FESTIF – Comfortably won over course and distance in March before finishing last but one in a 2850m Laval harness conditioner on 30 April. Could not have wished for a better entry and will garner the lion’s share of support
Summary: Simply superb in this branch of the business, HUMOUR FESTIF (12) is back at Enghien where he trounced a good field 2.5 months ago and is in with a realistic shout of repeating. Runner-up to him that day and plainly close to his race, ILEO PIERJI (11) will be expected to put on another good show, but may first have to see off the returning HANIELLE CREPIN (8) who won 80 percent of her races in 2024. IAGO ROSE (4) showed his form across town earlier this month and is not easy to oppose when barefoot.

C7 – PRIX DE L’OBELISQUE – 2150m (a1m1/4) – Class B Race – Harness – EUR € 75,000 - HUBBLE DU VIVIER – Blows hot and cold but ran good 5th of 12 in a 2100m Vincennes Class B 3 weeks ago. Is plainly close to his race and JMB will be keen to prove the point
- GALA DE CRENNES – Starts for first time since coming 8th of 11 finishers in a 3000m Salon Gr.3 2 months ago. 4 pads fitted this time but still not a priority
- TOTO BAROSSO – Quality element dropping down the category-ladder after running 7th of 11 in a 2850m Vincennes Class A 10 days ago and should be competitive for a first-5 payout
- HAMILTON DU HAM – Back to France after running 3rd of 12 over 2300m at Mons 2.5 weeks ago. In competition mode this time and is sufficiently well-placed to win this
- GOLD MENCOURT – Unraced since finishing last but one behind FALCO DES ROCHERS (11) in a 2200m Caen Class D on 13 March and is unlikely to spice things up
- GREAT TIGRESS – Has hardly put a foot wrong all year, most recently 2nd of 16 in a Class C over track and trip. Enjoys a front-line position and Damien Bonne will be keen to capitalise
- IDEAL DU ROCHER – 5th of 12 in a 2550m Beaumont-de-Lomagne Gr.3 on 28 April. Enjoys a good entry and from the front line will be no pushover
- ICONE MADRIK – Oddly below-par 7th of 12 in a 2300m Marseille-Borely Class B on 16 May. Excels at Enghien and even though drawn wide will have her supporters
- GINKGO THELOIS – Unremarkable 7th of 16 behind GREAT TIGRESS (6) in a Class C over course and distance on 19 April and will have nothing to contribute
- GIMS DU PLESSIS – Last of 9, on return to competition, in a 2625m Class B at La Rochelle a fortnight back. Handed a rough number but has never disappointed here and has been entrusted to Alexander Abrivard. Attention
- FALCO DES ROCHERS – Out of the picture in last 4 starts, most recently 10th of 14 in a 2800m Rambouillet Class A 2 weeks ago, and will need to get his house in order
- EROS ZOLA – 6th of 16 behind GREAT TIGRESS (6) in a Class C over course and distance on 19 April. Has been afforded time to come on for the race and even from the back row can figure prominently
- GAYLORD AM – Won 2 of last 3, latterly clinching a 2950m Vichy Class D 12 days ago. Has no love for Enghien though and has nothing going for him here
Summary: He may not have won for some time but HUBBLE DU VIVIER (1) set a personal best time of 1’09″8 across town earlier in the month and, fully fit by now, can have his day in the sun. Better-placed behind the car, HAMILTON DU HAM (4) has 2 runs in him since the break, is barefoot for the occasion, and winning this would be no surprise. EROS ZOLA (12) will have progressed for his comeback run and has previously won under these conditions. IDEAL DU ROCHER (7) takes a dip in category after holding his own in a Gr.3 and François Lagadeuc gets the nod.

C8 – PRIX DE LA PLACE DU CHATELET – 2875m (a2m) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 46,000 - JEALOUS GIRL – Returns to racing barefoot after coming 3rd of 15 in a 2700m amateurs Class G at Le Croise-Laroche on 12 May, but still has no possible chance
- JOUEUSE DU MIREL – 3rd of 14, at 27/1, in a 2800m Rambouillet Class D on 11 May, however a repeat seems most improbable
- JEUNESSE ETERNELLE – Reassuring 2nd of 11 to JANE CASH (10) in a 2700m Vincennes Class D 3 weeks ago. Is behind in earnings, is close to her race, and boasts a fine record with Alexandre Abrivard. Chance
- JORIA MESLOISE – Disappointed here last month but reassured when successful in a 2750m Elbeuf Class E 3 weeks ago, and has the wherewithal to make first 5
- ICE HAUFOR – Put in 2 fine performances before faulting in a 2725m Graignes Class E on 9 May. Flew up with the day’s driver in early-April and will be expected to challenge for a place on the podium
- JADE DE CASTELLE – 6th of 11, on return to competition, in a 2825m monte Class F at Le Croise-Laroche on 12 May and will have other priorities
- JOYCE DES GRANGES – Keeps same configuration after running 3rd of 13 in a 2800m Strasbourg Class F last week but can expect to find this a much tougher task
- JOCELYNE – Serious type that seldom lets the side down, most recently 2nd of 15 in a 2800m Pontchateau Class E on 16 April. Should take well to Enghien conditions and must be respected
- IN RACE LORRAINE – Failed to confirm Elbeuf performance when sanctioned in a 2400m Amiens Class F 3 weeks ago. Is confirmed here, races barefoot, but others still preferred
- JANE CASH – Quality mare that seldom disappoints when unshod, latterly making short work of a 2700m Vincennes Class D 3 weeks ago, and once again looks the horse to beat
- JOLYDOLE – Kept on well to win a 2850m Laval Class D on comeback 3.5 weeks ago. Has won 3 of 5 for Matthieu Abrivard and looks a major player once more
- IDEALE DE LA COMTE – Sanctioned on re-entry in a 3125m Ranes Class H last Sunday. Shoes on this time and can be ignored
- JUSTICIA GLAM – Tricky sort that ran a pleasant 5th of 14 in a 2800m Langon Class G on 1 May. Shoes fitted once more but is still worth keeping an eye on
- JOLIE INDIENNE – Encouraging 5th of 15 in a 2800m Vire Class D just over 2 weeks ago but still no more than a minor place chance
- IMAGE D’HERFRAIE – Kicked the year off victoriously but disappointing since, latterly 10th of 16 in a 2600m Class E at Meslay-du-Maine last week, and is unlikely to cause an upset
- ILARIA KILY – Imposed at Senonnes-Pouance 3 weeks ago prior to running 3rd of 12 in a 2500m Reims Class F last Saturday, but in this company will have too much to do
Summary: A terrific campaigner that won in style across town earlier in the month, JANE CASH (10) may be new to Enghien but in present form has every chance of doubling up. Damien Bonne will still want to be wary of JOLYDOLE (11) who imposed on re-entry late last month, and a barefoot JEUNESSE ETERNELLE (3) who ran a good second last time. ICE HAUFOR (5) showed her form at Graignes despite being sanctioned and Yoann Lebourgeois can put things right.

C9 – PRIX DE LA PLACE GAMBETTA – 2150m (a1m1/4) – Class C Race – Harness – EUR € 53,000 - KALENCIO FLAC – Returns to France after coming 2nd of 6 over 2300m in Mons 2.5 weeks ago. Has been reconfigured for the occasion and entrusted to Franck Nivard, but others still easier to back
- KISS ATOUT – Won at La Rochelle last month before just missing out in a 2200m Caen Class C 2 weeks ago. Excels when barefoot and can add another victory to his tally
- KATIM DU GOUTIER – Has not been seen out since finishing last but one in a 2700m Vincennes Class B on 28 February. Enjoys a good draw but others still easier to support
- KINGDOM KAT – Starts for first time since finishing 6th of 7 in a 2850m Vincennes monte Class B last November and will have nothing to offer
- KLASSE DE BRUZEAU – Reverts to a previous configuration after winning a 2950m Vichy Class D on 5 May. Is confirmed here but would be preferred barefoot
- KRAKEN CASTELETS – Last but one behind KALINE DU JOUR (12) in a 2700m Vincennes Class C a month ago. Won his only start at the venue but is biting off more than he can chew
- KALINA PRINCESS – Ran 2nd at Vincennes before coming 4th of 12 in a 2850m Laval monte Class C a month ago. Boasts fine barefoot references and, well-engaged, must be taken seriously
- KAISER DES GRANGES – Did not enjoy the best of trips when last of 11 behind KALINE DU JOUR (12) in a 2700m Vincennes Class C a month ago. Won under these conditions last October and, barefoot this time, can get back in the game
- KOH SAMUI – Quality individual making first appearance since finishing last of 11 in 10 May race of reference, on first start back, and best to wait
- KOQUERY DU BUISSON – 9th of 11 finishers behind KISS ATOUT (2) in a 2200m Caen Class C 2 weeks ago. Subject of interference that day and while unlikely to have his way this time, he sports a new formula and can nevertheless finish in the money
- KEITHOS DU RHIN – 4th of 13 behind KYNTE FLUSH (14) in a 2100m Vincennes Class D on 2 May. A model of consistency this term and is unlikely to be far off the mark
- KALINE DU JOUR – Sanctioned when going well in a 2200m Caen Class C on 10 May. Won over longer here 2 months ago and, despite the draw, should not be overlooked
- KUNG FU QUICK – Won twice under harness in space of 10 days prior to coming 3rd of 13, a place behind KYNTE FLUSH (14), in a 2100m Vincennes Class D on 2 May. Not ideally-drawn but a serious proposition all the same
- KYNTE FLUSH – In the frame in last 3, most recently 2nd of 13 in a 2100m Vincennes Class D on 2 May. Enjoys good speed and despite the draw still looks main threat to KISS ATOUT (2)
- KINASSE DE VIVOIN – Encouraged at Ecommoy but failed to confirm when 7th of 11 finishers behind KISS ATOUT (2) in a 2200m Caen Class C 2 weeks ago, and is not about to trouble the judge
- KENTUCKY SOMOLLI – Imposed at Angers prior to running 2nd of 16 to KLASSE DE BRUZEAU (5) in a 2950m Vichy Class D on 5 May. Takes on a better bunch here and the draw does him no favours
Summary: Hard to knock since starting g to race barefoot, KISS ATOUT (2) enjoys a good spot behind the car and can secure his second win of 2025. That being said, KYNTE FLUSH (14) has been going good-guns lately and her most recent Vincennes chrono was particularly impressive. Starting beside her on the 2nd row, KUNG FU QUICK (13) has looked a different horse under harness recently and won his only start under these conditions. KALINA PRINCESS (7) is forced to break wide but is excellent when barefoot and adores these shorter trips.

Summary: Title holder BOLTHOLE (3) enjoyed a productive winter campaign in Qatar and arrives here off the back of a Listed success. He looks like the one they all have to beat. BEVAN (1) was an impressive winner at Toulouse and may be better than ever—he shapes as the main danger to the selection. GENTLEMAN SMART (16) is very well placed in the race and deserves consideration. While IDDIR D’ANTEE (10) has shown better form under the saddle, but he cannot be ruled out in this harness division.

Summary: KIKI (1) is in a rich vein of form and can complete a four-timer. He gets the nod over KUEENTRASS (2), another in-form contender who takes a step up in class with every chance. KISS ME POLE (7), fitted with front pads this Saturday, is capable of bouncing back and going close. It’s also worth keeping a close eye on KASGAGNAT (5), who showed a solid return to form last time on turf and could be a major player if able to replicate that effort on the sand.
