R1 LAVAL [L-H]
C1 – GRAND NATIONAL DU TROT – 2850m (a2m) – – Harness – EUR € 90,000
- HOVE PONT VAUTIER – 3rd of 12 finishers in a 2450m Caen Class C on 10 May. Has looked a different horse since starting to race in current configuration and must be taken seriously
- IBIZA BELLA – Ran 2nd to JE REVE DU BOIS (9) in Maure edition prior to coming 8th of 11 to him in a 2100m Vincennes Class C on 16 May. Has never disappointed here and can be brought back into the fold
- IMPERATOR D’ELA – Far from beaten when sanctioned in 2800m Gr.3 GNT stage at Le Croise-Laroche on 21 May. Is proven in superior company and will be a tough nut to crack if he keeps his action together
- JUNE – 3rd in a Vincennes Class C prior to being sanctioned in a 2450m Caen Class C on 10 May. Has better credentials in the other code but is still worth retaining
- HABIT DE SOIREE – Denied a run, coming 11th of 16 behind HOLD UP DU SAPTEL (8) in 2800m Gr.3 GNT stage at Le Croise-Laroche on 21 May. Eric Raffin reining this time and from the front line should not be ignored
- JINGLE DU PONT – Made up for Caen sanction when 3rd of 14 in a 2850m Vincennes Class B last Friday. Boasts decent Laval credentials and must be considered a priority
- HELIOS SI – Ran 5th in GNT edition at Reims but failed to confirm when 8th of 12 finishers behind HOVE PONT VAUTIER (1) in a 2450m Caen Class C on 10 May, and is not about to spring any surprises
- HOLD UP DU SAPTEL – Ran good 3rd of 16 in 2800m Gr.3 GNT stage at Le Croise-Laroche on 21 May. Has no Laval references but in present condition has a realistic chance of making first 5
- JE REVE DU BOIS – Won GNT edition at Maure before repeating in a 2100m Vincennes Class C on 16 May. Shod as he was at Maure and even though 25m worse off should nevertheless give an honourable account of himself
- JABALPUR – Serious trotter but has not been seen out since running 5th of 14 in a 2200m Vincennes Gr.1 in early-March. Shoes fitted and best to wait
- JE M’ENVOLE – Starts for first time since coming 3rd of 10 in a 2700m Vincennes monte Gr.2 last November and will have nothing to offer
- GALA DE CRENNES – Below-par in last 3, most recently last of 12 in a 2150m Enghien Class B 11 days ago, and is not about to spring any surprises
- HARLEY GEMA – Not as sharp as she was last season, latterly sanctioned early in 21 May race of reference. Just front pads fitted this time and even with Benjamin Rochard reining is unlikely to shake things up
- HYMNE DU GERS – Last of 8 in a 2850m Vincennes Gr.3 on 23 May. Has bags of class but also has other priorities
- J’AIME LE FOOT – 12th of 16 behind HOLD UP DU SAPTEL (8) in 2800m Gr.3 GNT stage at Le Croise-Laroche on 21 May. Shoes on again and can expect to remain friendless
- HULYSSE DIGEO – Serious campaigner that has won 3 of last 4, latterly a 2850m Vincennes Class A 3 weeks ago, and despite the 25m handicap, still looks a serious player
Summary: Even though sanctioned in the latest GNT stage at Le Croise-Laroche a fortnight ago, IMPERATOR D’ELA (3) was clearly going well that day and Anthony Barrier will be determined to put things right. He will be put to the test though by JINGLE DU PONT (6) who steps back up in category after putting on quite the show at Vincennes last week, 2nd line starter HULYSSE DIGEO (16) who has already won 4 times his year, and HOVE PONT VAUTIER (1) who is clearly firing on all cylinders. 3rd in the latest edition, HOLD UP DU SAPTEL (8) is easy to like.

C2 – PRIX PIERRE SECHE – 2850m (a2m) – Class F Amateur Drivers Race – Harness – EUR € 8,000 - HADOL DE FAEL – Last but one in a 2700m Graignes amateurs Class G on 18 May and has nothing to contribute
- HIMEROS DU DOLLAR – A write-off all year, latterly 9th of 15 behind HARCANGE (8) in a 2725m Thouars amateurs Class H last week, and can be ruled out
- ILEVEN – Returns to the amateur division after finishing 7th of 12 in a 2750m Elbeuf Class F early last month. Is clearly in fine shape but would be preferred barefoot
- GASTON DU ROC – Last of 11 behind HARCANGE (8) in a 2850m Maure-de-Bretagne amateurs Class G on 11 May and is not about to create an upset
- JAVA DU PLESSIS – Ran 2nd at La Guerche-de-Bretagne before being sanctioned in a 2850m Loudeac Class F in late-April. breaks in front but still not a priority
- ISIS DE CALVI – Hard to fault lately, most recently winning a 3000m Neuillé-Pont-Pierre Class H 10 days ago. Pleased on lone start at the venue and is hard to ignore
- HOBBY DE L’EVRE – Made up for Chateaubriant blip when 5th of 16 in a 2575m Agen amateurs Class G on Saturday. Starts on front line here and is unlikely to be far off the mark
- HARCANGE – 5th of 15 in a 2725m Thouars amateurs Class H last week. Will appreciate the return to a hard surface and will be competitive for the win
- GOLDEN DE PAME – Sanctioned in 4 of last 5, most recently a similar event under these conditions on 16 May. Is barefoot for the occasion and can play a part if Marc-André Sebaoun keeps him focused
- JACKPOT BOOSTER – Placed in 2 before faulting in a 3000m Neuillé-Pont-Pierre Class H late-April. Could not have wished for a better entry and with application can impose
- IDOLE DELICE – Handy mare that ran 2nd of 13 to ISIS DE CALVI (6) in a 3000m Neuillé-Pont-Pierre Class H 10 days ago. Faces stiffer conditions this time though and best to hold off
- HEOL LORIETTES – Unplaced in 2 since the break, latterly 12th of 16 in a 2650m Alencon monte Class G on 11 May and, re-shod, will have other ambitions
- HYPSO DES CAILLONS – Put some unexceptional runs behind him to win a 2825m Bernay claimer on 19 May but under these conditions will have too much to do
- HARLEY DU CHERISAY – Got back in the winners’ circle when successful in a 2800m Rambouillet amateurs Class G last week. Is new to the venue, nicely-entered, and must be afforded respect
- FOR ME GEDE – Facile winner of a 2825m Chartres amateurs Class G on 7 May. Would be preferred barefoot but benefits from a golden engagement and will be competitive for a spot on the podium
- FIFTY WINNER – 7th of 11 finishers behind HADOL DE FAEL (1) in a 2800m Pontchateau amateurs Class F on 1 May and with shoes on will struggle to make his mark
Summary: Plainly in fine shape, JACKPOT BOOSTER (10) should not be too hastily-condemned for his late-April sanction and, ideally-engaged, even looks good enough to win this. He will still encounter resistance from HARCANGE (8) who scored last time he ran barefoot, and recent Chartres winner, FOR ME GEDE (15), even though he reverts to a less-performant formula. Runner-up in his only amateur start here, HOBBY DE L’EVRE (7) will be expected o play an active part.

C3 – PRIX DU PMU “LE BRETAGNE” – 2850m (a2m) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 23,000 - MAJON – 3rd on debut at Cholet early-May before coming 2nd of 16 in a Class F over track and trip a fortnight later. In better company this time but looks eminently up to the job. Place chance
- MA JOLIE CHOSE – Won a Cholet Class F early-May before faulting in a 2950m Le Mans Class E 3 weeks later. Is not devoid of ability but others still easier to trust
- MARIO MASCAR – Makes first start since faulting in a 2875m Enghien Class D on 18 March. Ability is not in question though and a place in the frame will be dependent on his mood
- MISS IS DU CANET – Reassuring 3rd of 11 in a 2800m Chartres Class E on 7 May. Eric Raffin in the bike again but represents a minor place chance at best
- MAGDALENA – Has not been seen out since running 6th of 8 in a 2150m Enghien Class C last October and is going to need the race
- MONZA SEMILLY – Returns to the provinces after running 5th of 9 in a 2700m Vincennes Class D 3 weeks ago. Should take well to Laval conditions and is unlikely to disappoint. Chance
- MILLIONDOLLARSBABY – Unraced since finishing 7th of 12 in a 2850m Vincennes Class D on 21 March. Has looked ordinary this year and will need to raise his game
- MANGO PAULO – Quality element that comfortably won a 2625m Cherbourg Class F on 11 May. Enjoys a terrific entry and can repeat
Summary: MANGO PAULO (8) got off the mark early last month after having done nothing but improve this term, and on his current trajectory looks the horse to beat once more. Alexis Collette will still be keeping a keen eye on MONZA SEMILLY (6) who looks a promising future prospect, and MAJON (1) whose recent course-and-distance 2nd augurs well for his chances. Difficult he may be but MARIO MASCAR (3) has significant potential and, fresh from a spell, must be considered a player.

C4 – PRIX DU CONSEIL REGIONAL DES PAYS DE LOIRE – 2850m (a2m) – Class F Race – Mounted – EUR € 27,000 - JASMINE DE FORGAN – Takes a notable step up in category after finishing 6th of 10 in a 2550m Gournay-en-Bray Class H 10 days ago and can be ruled out
- JAZZY FLIGNY – Pleased here, then at Vichy, before faulting in a 2200m Caen Class D a week ago. Has been reconfigured for the occasion but others still preferred
- JUSTICE D’EOLE – Lost her action in a 2800m Cholet Class F late-April and others easier to back
- JIL – Sanctioned in last 5, most recently a 2450m Caen Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Has evident talent, and races with 4 pads for the first time, but others still easier to trust
- JAZZMAN IDEF – Returns to Laval after faulting in a 2800m Rambouillet Class F on 11 May but is by some margin the best horse here and with application should get back to doing what he does best. Claim
- GRACE DE MAI – 10th of 15 in a 3500m harness Class F at Savigny-sur-Braye late last month. Has done nothing noteworthy all year and is not about to start now
- JAMBIER – Back under the saddle after finishing last of 9 in a 2725m Graignes harness Class E conditioner on 23 May and should be good enough to contest the finish
- JUDICIEUX – Disappointing in both harness starts this term, latterly sanctioned in a 2725m Graignes harness Class E on 23 May. Went close in good company last time in the ridden discipline and can make the frame
- JUST BIRD – Failed to confirm Cholet success when sanctioned in a 2800m Rambouillet Class F on 11 May, but is reunited with Benjamin Rochard who will be keen to set the record straight.
- JADE DE CASTELLE – Honest mare making Laval debut after finishing last of 12 in a 2875m Enghien harness Class D conditioner 11 days ago. Is shod to preference, has form with Eric Raffin, and must be respected
- ISBA DU VIVIER – In the frame in last 2, latterly 3rd of 8 in a 2825m Class D at Le Croise-Laroche 2 weeks ago, and makes her first Laval start with a decent hand to play
Summary: A marvellous campaigner with an enviable strike-rate, JAZZMAN IDEF (5) is unbeaten in 2 starts under these conditions and, barefoot for the occasion, will be expected to keep that record intact. Barring last month’s sanction, JAMBIER (7) has been hard to knock in the ridden code and with shoes off this time is expected to continue his love affair with Paul Ploquin. JUDICIEUX (8) has shown considerable monte promise and will be competitively-shod this time. Winner at Cholet in late-April, JUST BIRD (9) will not be far off the mark as long as she stays in stride.

C5 – PRIX BARONS GUY ET JACQUES DE MEYNARD – 2850m (a2m) – Class C Race – Harness – EUR € 27,000 - LATINO PURA VIDA – Unremarkable individual starting for first time since faulting in a 2700m Vincennes Class D last January and has no realistic chance
- LOOK PEJI – Showed improvement when 5th of 9 finishers in a 2700m Class D at Le Croise-Laroche 2 weeks ago but will have too much to do this time
- LOOK DE VALAILLES – Has not been seen out since running 4th of 11 in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class A last November and won’t be everyone’s fancy on the boards
- LOVELY JENILOU – Has not been seen out since winning a 2100m Vincennes Class D mid-February. Shoes on and will need the race
- LIMA MARY – Returns to the harness code after finishing last of 10 in a 2700m Vincennes monte Class C on 20 May. Has harness references here and, barefoot this time, will generate some interest
- LEO DES MALBERAUX – Last of 7 on comeback in a 2700m Vincennes Class C on 20 May. Races barefoot for the first time and could spring a welcome surprise
- LEVADIA – Last but one, on return to competition, in a 2150m Vichy Class C on 20 May and can be confidently passed over
- L’ATHENIA BELLA – Winner of her last 3, latterly a 2625m Class B at La Rochelle on 20 April. Should appreciate the new profile and the 4-timer is a distinct possibility
- LION SUR MER – Missed out on the hat-trick when 3rd of 7 finishers in a 2700m Vincennes Class D in early-April. Has had ample time to freshen up and will be expected to compete for the win
- LA DIVA SUPREME – Complicated but capable filly making first start since being sanctioned in a 2175m Vincennes Class A last December and is going to need the run
- LA MITIDJA – Sports a new configuration after being sanctioned in a 2700m Vincennes Class C on 16 May. Is plainly in rude health though and on good behaviour will not be far from the action
- LALUNA DES FORGES – Imposed in Marseille before running 3rd of 13 in a 2700m Vincennes Class C on 16 May. Has twice imposed when shod and while unlikely to win this, should nevertheless be competitive for a first-5 cheque
- LEDZEP – Left a very good impression when close 2nd of 16 on re-entry in a 2100m Vincennes Class D on 13 May. Will have progressed for the run and steps up in category with a lot to offer
- LE POETE BOURBON – Sanctioned in a 2150m Vichy Class C a fortnight ago. Has yet to deliver for current trainer but hind shoes off this time and should not be ruled out
Summary: Reinvigorated in 2025, LION SUR MER (9) may not have been seen out for 2 months but has clearly had this race on his agenda and has yet to disappoint with Eric Raffin reining. They can still expect a strong challenge from L’ATHENIA BELLA (8) who makes her Laval debut barefoot and on a 4-timer, and Philippe Allaire’s LEDZEP (13) whose recent comeback did not go unnoticed. LA MITIDJA (11) showed her form after faulting in Paris mid-May and the new formula may be precisely what’s needed.

C6 – PRIX HARMONIE AMBULANCE – 2850m (a2m) – Class C Race – Harness – EUR € 31,000 - JOLYDOLE – Got straight back in the game after her spell, most recently running 2nd of 12 to JANE CASH (7) in a mares-only Class D over 2875m at Enghien 11 days ago. Excels with Matthieu Abrivard and must not be overlooked
- JACKMAN – Faced minimal resistance when landing a 2700m Class D at Vincennes on 23 May. Trainer takes the reins this time, but a repeat of that performance should be enough to see him go back-to-back
- JEU COQUIN – Failed to run to his mark when 11th of 13 in a 2100m Vincennes Class C 3 weeks ago but has taken superbly to the Laval profile and can compete for a place in the frame
- JOYEUSE ENTREE – Has not been seen out since finishing last of 9 in a 2850m Vincennes monte Gr.1 in early-March and can be confidently ruled out
- JOJO TOONS – Tenacious winner in Caen before running 2nd of 10 to JACKMAN (2) in a 2700m Vincennes Class D on 23 May. Has not put a foot wrong all year and can bring the fight to Bazire’s horse
- IDEAL DE SASSY – Failed to confirm Caen effort when 8th of 16 in a 2875m Argentan Class F 10 days ago and others preferred
- JANE CASH – Patently back at the top of her game, latterly winning a mares-only Class D over 2875m at Enghien 11 days ago. Takes on the boys here but still looks a decent place prospect
- JEUNE AMI – Has ample ability but has struggled this year, most recently sanctioned in a 3500m Savigny-sur-Braye Class F last week. Sports front pads this time and is not about to spice things up
- JOMA OV – Returns to a previous configuration after running 9th of 16 in a 2875m Argentan Class D 10 days ago. Entrusted to Eric Raffin for the first time and has a reasonable chance of getting a look-in
- IRRESISTIBLE PAJ – Easy winner on turf before running 4th of 11 in a 2700m Vincennes Class D mid-May. Patrick Ploquin could not have wished for a better entry and Paul will be eager to take advantage
Summary: Although not the easiest of horses to handle, JACKMAN (2) put on quite the show in Paris last month and in similar shape should again have the measure of the dependable JOJO TOONS (5) who ran 2nd to him that day. In cracking form this year, JANE CASH (7) is very hard to fault and although unlikely to complete the hat-trick can nevertheless finish close. JEU COQUIN (3) is in his category, has demonstrated a liking for Laval conditions, and will be no easy touch.

C7 – PRIX HENRI DESMONTILS – 2850m (a2m) – Class C Race – Mounted – EUR € 39,000 - JAG MAHCATH – Pulled up in a 2875m Class F at Meslay-du-Maine three weeks ago after a poor start, but now returns in same configuration as when scoring stylishly at Argentan in mid-April. Looks poised to bounce back
- HAWAI RIVER – Last of 11 behind JUPITER DE PLAY (3) in a 2700m Vincennes Class D 3 weeks ago. Is useful on a good day but current form does little to inspire confidence
- JUPITER DE PLAY – Won 2 on the trot before coming 2nd of 11 in a 2700m Vincennes Class D 3 weeks ago. François Lagadeuc in the saddle this time and could even win this
- HIS DREAM DE CAHOT – Last but one behind JUPITER DE PLAY (3) in a 2700m Vincennes Class D 3 weeks ago. Is not short of ability though and it is just a question of time before he comes good again. First 5
- JASON GINYU – Switches discipline for first time after finishing 12th of 15 in a 2700m Vincennes harness Gr.3 on 14 May and will be dangerous if form transitions
- HELLO JADE RUSH – 9th of 10 in a 2850m Class D at Maure-de-Bretagne late-April and has no possible chance
- ELIXIR – Made little impact before being sanctioned in a 2850m Vincennes Class C last week and is not about to buck the trend
- GLADIATOR BOY – Made up for his Caen performance when close 2nd of 8 in a 2825m Class D at Le Croise-Laroche 2 weeks ago. Has nothing to prove under these conditions and must be afforded considerable respect
Summary: The 6 year-olds appear to have a lock on this race with the talented and shod, but occasionally spirited, JAG MAHCATH (1) looking the horse to beat despite having botched his start at Meslay mid-May. That said, JUPITER DE PLAY (3) appears a horse transformed and makes a solid case for the silverware. JASON GINYU (5) may be a newcomer to the discipline, but his record under harness suggests he’s a serious player. GLADIATOR BOY (8) showed his form at Le Croise-Laroche last time and won his only monte start here…in 2020.

C8 – PRIX V AND B LAVAL – 2850m (a2m) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 27,000 - KOSMOPOLITAINE – Returns to the provinces after coming 9th of 16 behind KISS ME DU RUEL (9) in a 2850m Vincennes Class D on 20 May but appears to be out of sorts and must first reassure
- KENDRICK – Failed to confirm Pontchateau result when 10th of 14 behind KASSIDY KID (4) in a 2875m Enghien Class D 11 days ago. Will find conditions more to his liking this time and will be expected to make amends
- KOOL GEORGES – Returns to racing barefoot after having come 2nd of 18 to KABIR BEDI (15) in a 2950m Le Mans Class E on 8 May. Eric Raffin in the bike this time and is not to be underestimated
- KASSIDY KID – Sprang quite the surprise when 4th of 14 in a 2875m Enghien Class D 11 days ago and a repeat seems most unlikely
- KAROLENE D’ETANG – Has evident ability but will need to improve on latest 6th of 16 behind KISS ME DU RUEL (9) in a 2850m Vincennes Class D on 20 May
- KOPA D’ARC – Secured his 2nd of the year when comfortably winning a 2700m Vincennes Class E a month back. Is patently at the top of his game and steps marginally up in category with a decent chance of making first 5
- KING DE LARRE – Last of 6 finishers in a 2475m Niort class D 2.5 weeks ago. Stays shod and will have few takers
- KNOCK OUT – Unraced since coming 2nd of 11 in a 2875m Enghien Class D on 19 April. Has been firing on all cylinders this year and makes his Laval debut with a good hand to play
- KISS ME DU RUEL – Pleasant in last 2, latterly 4th of 16 in a 2850m Vincennes Class D on 20 May, but may be taking on too much this time
- KITKO DAIRPET – Not as sharp as he was last season, latterly running 6th of 13 in a 2300m Chateaubriant Class D 10 days ago, and with pads fitted is unlikely to shake things up
- KIMIKO DU DOUBS – Encouraging 4th at Maure-de-Bretagne but subsequently sanctioned in a 2475m Niort Class D 2.5 weeks ago and chances appear limited once more
- KINGSMAN D’EOLE – Quality element but has not been seen out since finishing 6th of 11 in a 2700m Vincennes Class A in January 2024 and is going to need the race
- KING DE GINAI – Got back down to business when easily securing a 2875m Meslay-du-Maine Class E on 15 May. Alexandre Abrivard in the bike again and should logically contest the finish
- KELYO DU SOLNAN – Just missed out on the double when 2nd of 18 in a 2875m Argentan Class E mid-April. Shoes on this time though and best to keep one’s powder dry
- KABIR BEDI – Made it 2 on the trot when making short work of a 2950m Le Mans Class E on 8 May. Keeps on improving and on good behaviour can wrap this up
- KING DE L’OUEST – Imposed at Pontchâteau before coming 5th of 6 finishers in a 2475m Niort class D 2.5 weeks ago and considering the entry looks a serious proposition
Summary: Winner of 2 from 3 this term, KABIR BEDI (15) makes his Laval debut in cracking shape and can pull off the hat-trick if Nicolas Bazire keeps him trotting. There will still be pressure from the likes of KING DE GINAI (13) who comfortably imposed at Meslay-du-Maine mid-May, and the terrifically-engaged KING DE L’OUEST (16) who will be barefoot as he was when victorious at Pontchateau a month earlier. Third that day, KENDRICK (2) was successful on his only appearance here and the new configuration may be just the ticket.

This looks an easier assignment so she is worth another chance against this opposition. PATHOGNOMONIQUE (2) was unlucky not to have achieved a better result in her latest appearance but she’s not hastily condemned either Regally bred BALLERINE DU RHEU (9) could defy her inexperience to play a leading role on debut, with MISS TAHOE (3) likely to prove best of the rest.

Summary: Progressive ARCACHON (3) completed a hat-trick of victories by winning at Pau when last seen and a subsequent break would’ve done him any amount of good. However, to extend his winning sequence, he will have to be wary of lightly raced KWELAFE (4) who has won both starts this year after a lengthy absence. KILT ECOSSAIS (7) has the means to make life difficult for those principals, as does DESERT STORM (10) who is an interesting contender on his steeplechase debut.

Summary: A very open race but LIGHT OF MY LIFE (9) is lightly raced and will benefit from a drop in class to a Claimer this time. WESTMINSTER FOX (1) had excuses last time but must come into the reckoning based on a win in her penultimate race. More was probably expected from BELL BOY (3) last time but he gets the chance to remedy that this time. SPICHOPE (8) is supported by a strong stable and a decent run is on the cards.

- ZAGAZIG – Ran 4th in a Maiden over 2650m at Chateaubriant on 12 May. That performance was good enough to make her competitive
- ANOTHER COUNTRY – Finished 4th in a claimer over 2100m at Dax on 19 May. The conditions of this race are ideal for her
- HOLLY GOODHEAD – Ran 2nd in a Claimer over 2500m at Saint-Cloud on 9 May. That was an excellent run and will be looking for further improvement
- COLONEL MITCH – Won a Claimer over 2850m at Sable-Sur-Sarthe on 27 April. Won well and could feature in this event
- VILLEQUIER – Finished 3rd in a Maiden over 1800m at Langon-Libourne on 1 May. Ran an improved race last time and should enjoy the conditions of this event
- EASY STAR – Ran 8th in a Conditional Qualifier over 1200m at Evreux on 15 April. Tries further and could battle over this trip
- MOON NIGHT – Ran 8th in a Maiden over 1700m over 1700m at Pornichet on 22 December. Could need the run returning from a break
- VALENTINE DAY – Finished 5th in a Conditional Handicap over 2400m at La-Roche -Posay on 18 May. She will need to do more in this
- MADJOULY – Won a Claimer over 2400m at La-Roche-Sur-Yon on 11 May. Has run two good races in a row and could go close again
- EXPRESSIVE – Finished 8th in a Maiden over 2650m at Chateaubriant on 12 May. This filly will need to improve on recent form
Summary: The last run of VILLEQUIER (6) indicates that this gelding is in good form and will not need to show much improvement to win a race of this nature as the conditions will suit him. But there is a lot to like about ZAGAZIG (2) who ran well last time and will not be far behind. ANOTHER COUNTRY (3) is another who will appreciate the race conditions. HOLLY GOODHEAD (4) is not far behind the others if showing further improvement after a decent last start.

- ON A SOUFFERT – Ran 9th in a Handicap over 2500m at Deauville on 8 February. Comes off a short break and there is not much to enthuse over
- MANIGOD – Ran 7th in a Maiden over 2500m at Deauville on 27 December 2024. This gelding has very good form and should make a winning comeback

- LIO DE LA PLATA – Ran 3rd in a Maiden over 2400m at Lyon La Soie on 23 March. This filly has been racing on the sand but could make a successful transition to turf
- EXIT POINT – This filly by French Fifteen out of Ammia does not take on a strong field and if she has any ability, should run well
Summary: MANIGOD (4) has not raced since December last year but he takes quite a drop in class and has the ability to win if fit and well. LIO DE LA PLATA (8) has been racing well enough on the sand but she should have the confidence to bring that form to the turf. There was a lot to like about the last performance of FAR L’AMORE (1) and further improvement will count in his favour. EXIT POINT (9) makes her debut but this is not a strong field and she is well drawn.
