William Pike is set to clinch his fifth career metropolitan premiership, with 102.5 wins placing him ahead of James McDonald and Chris Parnham nationally.
McDonald has wrapped up his season, and with Pike seven-and-a-half wins clear of Parnham, the title looks secured — his first since 2019-20.
Blake Shinn, however, remains a threat for most overall wins, trailing Pike’s 161.5 with 156.
In Victoria, Shinn leads the metro tally by five over Craig Williams and has a commanding overall lead on 143, with Jamie Mott next on 123.
Linda Meech tops the country standings with 89, while Shaun Cooper claimed his fifth straight picnic title.
South Australia’s Rochelle Milnes holds a four-win metro lead and boasts 89 season wins, her best yet.
Jacob Opperman leads a tight provincial race, and Sairyn Fawke holds the country lead.
In WA, Pike’s Bunbury quartet sealed the metro title, finishing the season with 161.5 wins.
