  11. KALINE DE LA COUR – Much improved and victorious in Class F at Carentan over 2850m on 19 July. Can double up in this line-up

    Summary: KEJAIME DE HOUELLE (12) has shown what she is capable of with some good wins, and the form has worked out well. She can follow up. KARLA MELODY (8) was not disgraced at Vincennes and retains the same shoeing arrangement, so should be a lively danger. KATINKA GEMA (7) remains barefoot and is threatening to win, so must be respected. PERFECT (10) has not been reliable in Sweden but is capable of getting involved at the finish.

    Summary: MANASLU (12) finished third behind two decent horses but has been disqualified on either side of that performance. He has been prepared for this race and should make a bold bid to score. MIX CASH (7) knows how to win races and ran well at Cabourg. He will be a real threat. MARION D’ATOUT (3) has disqualification issues but has also won a couple of times already and is clearly not out of it. MUST ATOUT (8) is hard to trust but is also a possible winner when wise.

    Summary: LOUPIAC (2) remains barefoot and in good form. He has no issues with this shorter distance and is well placed at the start, so can follow up on a good last win. LUCKY BOY VERTRAC (12) has improved since going barefoot and should be right there at the finish once again. LAST DES BROUSSES (3) is not reliable but is capable of a strong finish when in the right frame of mind. LOGO MAJYC (9) has disqualification issues but is also capable of winning races.

    Summary: INEXESS BLEU (10) has been faultless since December, winning nine in a row. There is no real reason he can’t make it ten. JABALPUR (2) impressed with a very good time at Vincennes when scoring in June and will be in the firing line again. KRACK TIME ATOUT (9) is a Group 1 winner who is clearly better than his recent runs suggest. KOCTEL DU DAIN (13) has won some decent races this year and can also contest the finish.

    Summary: ETRANGER JOYEUSE (7) was unlucky at this track in March. He has since won twice at Vincennes and can complete the hat-trick. ERNESTO SPRITZ (6) is usually very competitive and would not be a surprise winner. EHLERT PAR (10) showed improvement when barefoot at Vincennes and can do even better this time. KOVES DU PONT (3) has been very good when barefoot and should be right there at the finish once again.

    Summary: BADIE (7) has been consistent of late, including a strong third in a Class 1 race over 1800m at Compiègne. She is narrowly preferred over QUEEN’S TRIAL (5), who impressed on debut at Compiègne and followed up with a solid effort in a Class 2 race at Saint-Cloud at the end of June. LAVAMA (10) will benefit from not having to give her opponents a head start and she could feature strongly here. LYRE DE BEYLEV (13) races barefoot here which could see her show up a lot more positively. LOVICTORY WILLIAMS (2) has loved life with this shoeing combination and another forward run is expected.

    Summary: MAX D’OLMEN (9) makes his debut in this contest and is well fancied to make an impression first up. MANUREVA TURBO (3) was disqualified after shaping up with encouragement and if he does everything right, he could go well. MAGELLAN FOR CLARA (6) wasn’t disgraced in his debut run in 5th and should step forward from that run to feature. MADE IN DELO (2) produced a better run last time out and can earn a cheque.

    Summary: JENNY LEGEND (1) shaped up with plenty of promise last time out and with a repeat performance, she can go one better. JUMBO DES PRES (2) has been a bit in and out but ran a far better race at her latest outing and should be in the shake up. GAVROCHE BOCAIN (7) was a winner two starts back and is more than capable of winning in a race of this nature. GRAND SOIR LE FOL (6) is far better than her latest run and on prior form, she will be a threat.
