  1. MAAN – Very consistent this year and 3rd at Wolvega over 2100m on 12 July. Capable of being involved in the finish again
  2. MADELEINE FLEVO – Knocking at the door and runner-up at Duindigt in The Netherlands over 2000m on 28 June. Has a place chance
  3. EMY STECCA – Showing some improvement and runner-up at Cesena over 1660m on 20 June. More is needed here to win this race
  4. EXMES AS – Consistent and has won both starts this year, latest at Berlin-Mariendorf over 1900m on 1 June. Tougher now but could play a minor role
  5. KIARHA DE NAPPES – In good form and 3rd in Class F at Cabourg over 2050m on 1 July. Can be competitive again over this track and trip
  6. ETOILE DU OZ – Unreliable and 6th in a Class B mounted race at Vincennes over 2850m on 10 June. Capable of better and has a place chance
  7. KATINKA GEMA – Very consistent lately and runner-up in Class E at Les Sables-d’Olonne over 2775m on 9 July. Can go one better
  8. KARLA MELODY – In good form and not disgraced when 4th in Class E at Vincennes over 2100m on 24 June. Maintains shoeing and has a winning chance
  9. KALEDA DE LA COUR – Major disqualification issues and faulted again at Cherbourg on 17 July. Hard to trust but may sneak into the minor money
  10. PERFECT – Unreliable and finished 6th at Halmstad over 1640m on 3 July. Prefers further but could make the frame
  11. KALINE DE LA COUR – Much improved and victorious in Class F at Carentan over 2850m on 19 July. Can double up in this line-up
  12. KEJAIME DE HOUELLE – In great form and has won two of last three starts, including in Class F at Pornichet-La Baule over 2725m on 3 July. Can follow up
    Summary: KEJAIME DE HOUELLE (12) has shown what she is capable of with some good wins, and the form has worked out well. She can follow up. KARLA MELODY (8) was not disgraced at Vincennes and retains the same shoeing arrangement, so should be a lively danger. KATINKA GEMA (7) remains barefoot and is threatening to win, so must be respected. PERFECT (10) has not been reliable in Sweden but is capable of getting involved at the finish.

  18. MARSHAL DE CELLAND – Clearly needed his only run this year when 7th in a Group 3 at Vincennes over 2700m on 6 June. Won three times last year and could be the surprise package

  21. MARILOU – Disappointing of late and finished 8th in a Group 3 at Vincennes over 2700m on 6 June. Capable of better but others are preferred
  22. MAESTRO VRIE – Talented when wise and won in Class B at Vichy over 2950m on 19 June. Capable of making the frame
  23. MARDOUK DE GODREL – Disqualified last time out at this track on 5 July. Capable of better but others make more appeal
  24. MANASLU – Disqualified in two of his last three starts, the latest at Vincennes on 9 May. Consistent when wise and has a winning chance
  25. MARZIPAN – Holding form and finished 4th in a Group 3 at this track over 2150m on 5 July. Has a place chance in this line-up
    Summary: MANASLU (12) finished third behind two decent horses but has been disqualified on either side of that performance. He has been prepared for this race and should make a bold bid to score. MIX CASH (7) knows how to win races and ran well at Cabourg. He will be a real threat. MARION D’ATOUT (3) has disqualification issues but has also won a couple of times already and is clearly not out of it. MUST ATOUT (8) is hard to trust but is also a possible winner when wise.

  31. LOOK D’HERMES – Disqualified last time out at Rochefort-sur-L oire on 21 July. Capable of earning some minor money when wise

  35. LAUSSAC DU BUISSON – Returned to form with a runner-up performance in Class E at Les Sables-d’Olonne over 2775m on 16 July. Capable of going one better this time
  36. LULU DES CARREAUX – Remains in good shape and finished 4th in Class D at Cabourg over 2750m on 1 July. Can get into the mix again
  37. LUCKY BOY VERTRAC – Has improved of late and was a barefoot winner in Class E at La Capelle on 6 July. Can double up if in the same mood
  38. LAPS GEDE – Has lost his way with recent disqualifications, the latest at Pornichet-La Baule on 19 July. Hard to trust and others make more appeal
  39. LUX DE LA MESLIERE – Unreliable but ran well when 4th in Class E at this track over 2875m on 10 July. Not easy to trust but is capable of winning
    Summary: LOUPIAC (2) remains barefoot and in good form. He has no issues with this shorter distance and is well placed at the start, so can follow up on a good last win. LUCKY BOY VERTRAC (12) has improved since going barefoot and should be right there at the finish once again. LAST DES BROUSSES (3) is not reliable but is capable of a strong finish when in the right frame of mind. LOGO MAJYC (9) has disqualification issues but is also capable of winning races.

  42. HAPPY DANICA – Disappointing recent form and was 10th in a Group 3 at Le Croisé-Laroche over 2800m on 21 May. Needs to find a few lengths to win
  43. HARLEY GEMA – Holding form and finished 4th in a Group 3 over this course and distance on 5 July. Capable of making the frame
  44. J’AIME LE FOOT – On a very long losing run and was 6th in Class A at Vincennes over 2850m on 22 June. Others make more appeal
  45. JUSTIN BOLD – Has lost his way of late and was disqualified last time out at Vincennes on 23 February. May need this run after a break
  46. GENDREEN – Unreliable this year and finished 7th in a Group 2 at Vincennes over 2850m on 7 June. Can earn some minor money on best form
  47. GASPAR DE BRION – Only modest of late and finished 7th in a Group 3 mounted race over this track and trip on 10 July. Capable of better and has a place chance
  48. KRACK TIME ATOUT – Needed both starts this year and was 6th in a Group 3 over this course and distance on 5 July. Can make the frame if fitter now
  49. INEXESS BLEU – Unbeaten this year and has won his last nine starts, the latest being a Group 2 at Vincennes over 2850m on 7 June. Can add another victory to his tally
  50. JUST LOVE YOU – Unreliable but was barefoot and runner-up in a Group 1 at Vincennes over 2700m on 26 January. Could need this run returning from a break
  51. ELVIS DU VALLON – Showed some improvement and was third in a Group 2 at this track over 1609m on 12 July. Might play a minor role
  52. KOCTEL DU DAIN – At the top of his game this year and victorious in a Group 2 at Vincennes over 2850m on 3 May. A threat to his rivals
  53. EMERAUDE DE BAIS – Disqualified last time out at Caen on 10 May. In good shape before that and capable of earning minor money
    Summary: INEXESS BLEU (10) has been faultless since December, winning nine in a row. There is no real reason he can’t make it ten. JABALPUR (2) impressed with a very good time at Vincennes when scoring in June and will be in the firing line again. KRACK TIME ATOUT (9) is a Group 1 winner who is clearly better than his recent runs suggest. KOCTEL DU DAIN (13) has won some decent races this year and can also contest the finish.

  57. UNDERGROUND ARTIST – Has really struggled of late and finished 10th in class C over this track and trip on 12 July. Needs major improvement to win
  58. KAPELLA VET – Very consistent and was 3rd in class D at Enghien over 2875m on 28 June. Remains barefoot and cn make the frame
  59. ERNESTO SPRITZ – Usually competitive and finished 3rd at Cesena over 1660 on 5 July. Can get involved with the finish yet again

  62. EL DORADO BAR – Much improved of late and was victorious in Class D at Vincennes over 2700m on 9 May. Can complete the treble
  63. EHLERT PAR – In good form and was barefoot and 3rd in class D at Vincennes over 2100m on 13 June. Remains barefoot and can contest the finish
  64. ESPRESSO ITALIA – A winner of his last three starts, the latest at Naples over 1600m on 6 July. Tackles tougher but can earn some money
  65. ELEGANZA AV – Unreliable and was 7th in class C at Enghien over 2150m on 10 July. Needs to do a bit more to beat these rivals
  66. ELAND – Unreliable and was disqualified in class C at Enghien over 2150m on 12 July. On a long losing run but can earn some minor money
    Summary: ETRANGER JOYEUSE (7) was unlucky at this track in March. He has since won twice at Vincennes and can complete the hat-trick. ERNESTO SPRITZ (6) is usually very competitive and would not be a surprise winner. EHLERT PAR (10) showed improvement when barefoot at Vincennes and can do even better this time. KOVES DU PONT (3) has been very good when barefoot and should be right there at the finish once again.

    Summary: DYNAMITE BAR (10) was a disappointment at Turin earlier this month. She was a barefoot winner at Marseille-Borély when last seen in France and is barefoot again, ready to strike. JAVA DES CAILLONS (6) is not reliable but is capable of contesting the finish. JAVERNE (4) has some consistent form in Switzerland and could be a threat. JASMINE DE JYR (8) is consistent and capable of getting into the mix once again.

    Summary: GALINETTE BLEUE (3) looked good when winning over this track and trip earlier this month and has every chance of following up. She is well positioned at the start. HIGOR DAIRPET (6) is better over this shorter distance, so the last run is best ignored. GIBALDI DE HOUELLE (2) is not reliable but does get involved at the finish from time to time. HERCULE DE LEAU (1) may need to do better to beat these rivals but can make the frame.

    Summary: A very competitive-looking lucky last race. LA VIE A DEUX (12) probably needed her last two runs and could be ready to strike. LAST MAN (9) has disqualification issues but has won his last two starts when staying on the trot. LYRIKO BELLO (13) is not reliable but has won a couple of times this year and is clearly not out of it. LUMINOSITY (15) showed improvement and could have more to offer.

  3. GITANO – Fair effort to be 2nd in a Class 2 race at La Teste on June 26th over 2000m. Respect and has place claims
  4. LIGHT THE GHOST – Got off the mark on his fourth start over 1800m at Compiegne in a maiden on June 21st. More is required in a stronger race
  5. QUEEN’S TRIAL – 6th last time in a Class 2 race on June 29th, which followed a win at Compiegne on debut on June 9th over 2000m. Live contender
  6. STAR OF LOVE – Fair 3rd last time over 2100m at Cholet in a Class 2 race on June 30th. Might find a few of these too smart
  7. BADIE – Placed on her last two runs, the most recent over 1800m in a Class 1 race on June 21st at Compiegne. Key chance
  8. PYRAMIDE – Ran well when 2nd over 1600m in a Class 2 race at Saint-Cloud on June 29th. Capable of making the top-three
    Summary: BADIE (7) has been consistent of late, including a strong third in a Class 1 race over 1800m at Compiègne. She is narrowly preferred over QUEEN’S TRIAL (5), who impressed on debut at Compiègne and followed up with a solid effort in a Class 2 race at Saint-Cloud at the end of June. CHAUMIERE DE PRÉ (1) also warrants close consideration after finishing second at Parislongchamp 16 days ago. PYRAMIDE (8) leads the remainder.

LYRE DE BEYLEV (13) races barefoot here which could see her show up a lot more positively. LOVICTORY WILLIAMS (2) has loved life with this shoeing combination and another forward run is expected.

    Summary: MAX D’OLMEN (9) makes his debut in this contest and is well fancied to make an impression first up. MANUREVA TURBO (3) was disqualified after shaping up with encouragement and if he does everything right, he could go well. MAGELLAN FOR CLARA (6) wasn’t disgraced in his debut run in 5th and should step forward from that run to feature. MADE IN DELO (2) produced a better run last time out and can earn a cheque.

    Summary: JENNY LEGEND (1) shaped up with plenty of promise last time out and with a repeat performance, she can go one better. JUMBO DES PRES (2) has been a bit in and out but ran a far better race at her latest outing and should be in the shake up. GAVROCHE BOCAIN (7) was a winner two starts back and is more than capable of winning in a race of this nature. GRAND SOIR LE FOL (6) is far better than her latest run and on prior form, she will be a threat.
