C1 – PRIX DE CREVECOEUR – 1500m (a7f1/2) – TURF – Newcomers Race – Flat – EUR € 45,700

  1. MONTSECRET – Cristian Demuro rides this son of Zarak. He is out of the Footstepsinthesand mare, Minakshi. He may be in need of this outing
  2. MUENCHEN – Unraced son of Pinatubo out of the Le Harve mare, Macarena. This outing will bring him on nicely for future races
  3. DEAL DAILY – First timer by Threat out of the Oasis Dream mare, Dispel. Overlook unless betting suggests otherwise
  4. TORPEDO – A son of New Bay out of the Adlerflug mare, Tusked Wings. He is well-bred and should produce a positive showing from barrier three
  5. REGAL RESOLVE – Unraced son of Kingman out of the Dark Angel mare, Wisdom Mind. He hails from the top stable of Francis-Henri Graffard and Mickael Barzalona is a notable Jockey booking
  6. SCHWANGAU – Unraced son of Dark Angel out of the Invincible Spirit mare, Spirit Of Cuba. Antoine Hamelin rides and if not too green, he may give a good account of himself
  7. TOO DARN QUICK – Unraced son of Too Darn Hot out of the Excellent Art mare, You Look So Good. His sister, Melo Melo has raced at the highest level, and he may have the ability to be competitive on debut
  8. WAYBREAKER – First timer by Galiway out of the Multiplex mare, Ickymasho. He jumps from a good draw of two but may need this experience
  9. ELASTIC – First timer by Lope De Vega out of the Galileo mare, Solilea. His brother, Sinileo was an impressive winner on debut, and he may do the same under Maxime Guyon
    Summary: ELASTIC (9) is well-related. He has Solsticia who was third in a Group 1 and Sinileo who placed in the Prix Eugene Adam, among his siblings. Maxime Guyon rides and if not too green, he can make a promising start to his career. TOO DARN QUICK (7) is brother to Melo Melo who was second in 2023 Prix Vermeille. Tom Marquand does duty and an encouraging debut run is expected. TORPEDO (4) is a son of New Bay and from a good barrier position, he should give a good account of himself. REGAL RESOLVE (5) hails from the formidable Francis-Henri Graffard stable and the betting market must be monitored.

  13. LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL – Finished fifth in the Group 2 Ribblesdale Stakes over 2400m at Ascot on 19 June. James Doyle is booked to ride, and she should have a say
  14. SAFIA – Won the Listed Prix Melisande over 2000m at Parislongchamp on 8 June. She clearly has ability and is one of the leading contenders
  15. WHATABOUTISM – Finished fourth in the Group 3 Darley Prix Chloe over 1800m at Chantilly on 20 July. She is a filly with scope and can show
  16. MISS OF CHANGE – Finished fifth in the Group 2 Cygames Prix De Malleret over 2400m at Parislongchamp on 13 July. May find this difficult
    Summary: CANKOURA (2) was not disgraced when third in the Group 1 Prix De Diane Longines on 15 June. She drops back in class and should be too good for this field. SAFIA (5) comes off a victory in the Listed Prix Melisande on 8 June. She clearly has class about her and is one of the leading contenders. LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL (4) hails from the visiting John & Thady Gosden stable. She ran a fair race in the Group 2 Ribblesdale Stakes on 19 June. James Doyle does duty, and she cannot be ignored. WHATABOUTISM (6) finished fourth in the Group 3 Darley Prix Chloe on 20 July. She has scope and can show.

  32. ALABAMA MOON – She is better than her last start when ninth over 1400m at Compiegne in Class 2 Handicap on 21 July. Chance on previous form
    Summary: SKYLIGHT BROCHARD (2) is in a good space and comes off a third-place finish over 1350m on 30 June. He does have an awkward draw to overcome but with luck in running, he can win a race of this nature. LANAKEN (3) comes off a victory over 1400m at Saint-Cloud on 9 July. Leo Roussel retains the ride, and he is one of the leading contenders. ALABAMA MOON (16) is better than her last start. Her three efforts prior to that outing were good and chance if finding that form. FORCHESTER (14) has decent recent form lines to his name and merits obvious consideration.

  34. PHILLY BASSETT – Unraced daughter of Wootton Bassett out of the Zoffany mare, Miss Phillyjinks. She is related to Tiger Tanaka who established herself at the highest level at 2 years old
  35. LA CARRIERE – Is a daughter of No Nay Never out of the Mizzen Mast mare, Seatone. May need this outing
  36. KISS MELODY – A daughter of Almanzor out of the Golden Horn mare, Eyota. Her uncle Big Five won his first five races of his career
  37. PASANG – Is a daughter of Persian King out of the Gleneagles mare, Justbecoz. The booking of Christophe Soumillon is a big plus
  38. SOCIETY PRINCESSE – Stephane Pasquier rides this daughter of Persian King. She is out of the Zafeen mare, Society Lady, and may need the experience
  39. DISPATCHES – Hails from the powerful Andre Fabre stable. She is a daughter of Frankel out of the Dansili mare, Depeche. She has been entered for big races and will certainly have her followers
  40. LEFTEYE – Unraced daughter of Siyouni out of the Dubawi mare, Left Hand. Both her parents were Group 1 winners and his sister, Left Sea, won on debut on this track
  41. TICKLE – First timer by Kingman out of the Dylan Thomas mare, Pretty Please. She is related to Persian King and is the mount of Maxine Guyon. If not in need of the run, she should start her career on a positive note
  42. PERSIAN CENTURION – A daughter by Persian King out of the Footstepsinthesand mare, Queen Of The Sand. Drawn in pole position but she may need the run
  43. UNION HELPER CEN – First timer by Ghaiyyath out of the Dixie Union mare, Bold Union. She will need luck from the widest draw
    Summary: This looks to be an exciting Prix Des Marettes with a few well-bred fillies taking their place. Persian King’s sister, TICKLE (9), is the mount of Maxime Guyon and he seems to have preferred her to LEFTEYE (8). The latter is bred in the purple as she is a daughter of Siyouni out of Left Hand who won the Prix Vermeille. DISPATCHES (7) is another from the Andre Fabre stable. She is entered in the Prix du Calvados and Marcal Boussac and will certainly have her followers. PHILLY BASSETT (2) is a sister of Tiger Tanaka and if not too green in running, she should produce a promising debut effort.

  46. PINTA – Fair 3rd in a Listed race at Deauville over 1600m on July 6th last time. Might find this challenging
  47. SPIRITUAL – Won well in the Princess Elizabeth Stakes (Gr.3) at Epsom (UK) by over 4L on June 7th. Seems to have improved and can feature
  48. CRIMSON ADVOCATE – Ran well to win the Duke Of Cambridge Stakes (Gr.2) at Ascot (UK)in June two runs back and was a pleasing 3rd in the Falmouth Stakes (Gr.1) on July 11th at Newmarket (UK) in July. Hard to rule out
  49. FALLEN ANGEL – Credible 3rd on her last start over 1600m at Ascot on June 18th in the Duke Of Cambridge Stakes (Gr.2). Top class on her day and is hard to ignore
  50. MANDANABA – Ran well when 4th in the Prix De Diane (Gr.1) over 2100m on June 15th at Chantilly. Should like the drop back in trip this time. Can not be dismissed
  51. EXACTLY – 6th last time, 4th previously in the Poule D’Essai Des Pouliches (Gr.1) at Parislongchamp on May 11th. Not beaten far in Group 1 class and warrants respect
  52. JANUARY – Good 2nd in the Falmouth Stakes (Gr.1) on July 11th at Newmarket (UK) over 1600m last time out. One to pay attention to
  53. ATSILA – Two unplaced efforts of late, a win before that in a Group 3 race at the Curragh (IRE) on May 5th over 1600m. Has found the Group 1 races the last two times a step too far
  54. GODSPEED – Won last time over 1600m in a Group 2 at Chantilly on June 1st. Capable of making her presence felt
  55. PINA SONATA – Two wins this year, the latter over 1650m at Leicester (UK) on May 27th in a Class 4 race. Big jump in class and has work to do
  56. MATILDA – Easy 6L winner of the German 2,000 Guineas (Gr.2) in mid-May over 1600m. She has changed stables and is having her first run for new connections. Live chance
    Summary: MATILDA (13) was a commanding six-length winner of the German 2,000 Guineas (Gr.2) at Köln, defeating colts in style. Now, with Francis-Henri Graffard, she is taken to follow up in this tougher contest. JANUARY (9) rates the main danger after a strong second in the Falmouth Stakes (Gr.1) at Newmarket on July 11th. MANDANABA (7) ran with credit when fourth in the Prix de Diane (Gr.1) in June and should appreciate the drop in trip. CRIMSON ADVOCATE (5) is another to note, with solid credentials.

  62. VERMELHO – Four unplaced runs this year, the latter over 1800m at Saint-Malo in a Class 3 race on July 24th. Others rate higher
  63. YOKEN – Three unplaced runs of late, 9th at Compiegne on June 27th in a Class 3 handicap last time. Needs to get back on track
  64. WAPI – Two 4th placed runs of late, the latter over 1400m in a Class 3 race at Compiegne on June 16th. Live contender
  65. SPEEDSTER – Unplaced last time, 3rd before that over 1200m at Nimes on May 11th in a Class 3 race. Has work to do

  69. PERTUSATO – Unplaced last time, 2nd before that on turf at Parislongchamp on May 29th in a Class 3 handicap. Ought to be in the shake-up
  70. DULINI – Won on her last start over 1400m at Chantilly in a Class 3 race on June 20th. Ought to be thereabouts
  71. TORPEN – Three unplaced runs this year, the latter over 1200m at Chantilly on July 20th in a Class 2 handicap. Can make the top three after a drop in the weights
  72. RANCON ROYALE – 5th last time, 3rd previously over 1400m at Chantilly on March 13th in a Class 3 handicap. Unlikely to threaten
    Summary: In a wide-open handicap, it might pay to side with WAPI (8), who has been performing well with two fourth-place runs of late. He acts on most types of surfaces and is preferred ahead of DULINI (14), who has a good racing weight and will be full of confidence after a win at Chantilly in June. TORPEN (15) has eased in the handicap and could be competitive. SEVENDAY (2) and WILD CITY (5) are both worthy each-way options.

  75. BANDIAGARA – Recent win on her second start over 1400m on June 24th in a maiden race at Chantilly. Respect
  76. SECRET HIDEAWAY – Unplaced in a Group 2 race at Ascot (UK) on June 18th over 1000m on her last run. She won a Listed race at York before that in May. Needs a few to falter
  77. WETSAND – Won on her debut at Doncaster (UK) over 1400m on June 28th. Big jump in class and might find this a stiff task
  78. GREEN SPIRIT – Unbeaten in two runs, the latter over 1400m in a Class 2 race at Saint-Cloud on June 29th. Can keep progressing, and looks like the one to beat
  79. BALANTINA – Credible effort to be 3rd over 1200m in a Group 3 race at Ascot (UK) on June 20th on her last run. Makes the trip from Ireland and warrants respect
  80. ROYAL BAY CEN – Two wins of late, the latter a Class 2 race at La Teste on July 4th over 1200m. Seems to be improving and can have a say
    Summary: GREEN SPIRIT (6) won nicely at Saint-Cloud in a Class 2 race in late June on her second start after a win at the same track on debut in May. She is marginally preferred ahead of NARISSA (1), who won easily by eight lengths on her sole start over 1400m in June at Saint-Cloud. ROYAL BAY CEN (8) seems to be improving with experience and can be involved in proceedings. BALANTINA (7) makes up the shortlist.

    Summary: CHALDERO (3) shaped well when second in a Class 2 at Parislongchamp last month and looks poised to go one better. BLUE EYED KATE (5) could pose the biggest threat. Her third at Chantilly three runs back reads well, and she remains fairly treated. CHOP VAL (10) is well drawn in stall 6 and should be in the mix on a surface he likes. RAPIDE (2) has each-way claims as a lightly raced type open to further progress. CHANEL GOLD (1) is also worth noting and shouldn’t be overlooked.

  101. JEUDIXX – A win on debut in mid-June at Chantilly and a 3rd on the latest start in a Listed race on July 5th over 1000m at Deauville. In the mix
    Summary: SHIRI (4) has impressed in both of her starts, most recently winning a Class 2 race at Chantilly in June with a bit in hand. She can beat the English raider, TADEJ (3), who ran well when third in the Prix Robert Papin (Gr.2) at Chantilly on his latest start late last month. AFJAN (1) is another to pay attention to after a recent second in a Listed race in July.. He should enjoy the step up in trip today. JEUDIXX (6) looks best of the remainder.

  3. IZIASLAV TEK – Picked up his first win of 2025 when lifting a 2800m Bernay amateurs Class G last Sunday. Dependable servant in the amateur division and from the front row can give this a good go. First 5
  4. HAVANA MOST – Rather disappointing 8th of 14 in a 2750m Ecommoy Class F 2 weeks ago. Hind shoes off this time and with application is not incapable of getting a look in
  5. IMOW ROLAU – 5th of 13 finishers in a 2700m Class F at La Capelle 9 days ago. Benefits from a wonderful entry and will be expected to play a leading role
  6. HACKER DE MAHEY – Returns to racing left-handed after coming respectable 4th of 14 in a 2750m Cabourg amateurs Class G last Tuesday. Nicely-entered but others still preferred
  7. GRYFFONDOR DU POLI – 11th of 15 when preparing for this in a 3025m Montier-en-Der Class D on 19 July. Simply excels under these conditions and despite the penalty can still play a prominent part

He will still be pitted against the similarly useful, and reconfigured, GOHAKI (10) who also fell foul of the stewards last time out, and the tricky but talented IMOW ROLAU (5) whose trainer Philippe Daugeard could not have wished for a better engagement.     Summary: A different horse since returning to competition this summer, LILOU DE GUOZ (2) runs unshod-behind for her metropolitan debut and looks eminently capable of completing the hat-trick. LASSIE (11) completed her own before running 2nd under these conditions last weekend and, considering the entry, will be no easy touch. LOVELY GODIVA (4) may not be the most dependable of fillies but she won her only start at the venue and must be considered a major player.     Summary: Reliability may not be her strong suit but KADIJA MESLOISE (6) put on quite the show last time out, is decently-placed on the front row, and is in with a shout of doubling her money. That said, KELLY D’ERABLE (5) has been kept on the boil, is shod to preference, and makes her Paris debut with a decent chance of imposing. KANAILLE ROYALE (8) is a tough nut when barefoot and focused and should find Enghien conditions to her liking. Good German import, EXMES AS (9) lost her action early here last time but will be no pushover if Michael Nimczyk gets her off on the right foot.

    Summary: Back in France and making his first appearance for Alain Chavatte, ELITE D’ARC (6) sports a fresh configuration, will be very much at home at Enghien, and can get straight down to business. Gabriele Gelormini will nevertheless be mindful of the better-positioned ERES DORIAL MAIL (3) who will appreciate the marginal drop in category, and KOMEO DU DOME (7) who looks close to his race.     Summary: Markedly improved here a fortnight ago, a reconfigured READLY LAVEC (8) makes just his second start under the saddle, having shown promise at home in Sweden, and has a realistic chance opening his French account. Maxime Tijou will still be keeping a watchful eye on the complicated but capable, and similarly reconfigured, IKURO JIEL (7) who will be out to turn the tables on the consistent IGO CLEA (11) who had his measure at Cabourg last month.
