- HAPPY ATOUT – Surprisingly eliminated in a 2700m Class E at La Capelle on 25 July. Has thrived in the amateur category and should be good enough to win this
Summary: Well-entered close to the limit of earnings, HAPPY ATOUT (11) drops back to a category he has never disappointed in and can win this if he gets off on the right foot. He will still be pitted against the similarly useful, and reconfigured, GOHAKI (10) who also fell foul of the stewards last time out, and the tricky but talented IMOW ROLAU (5) whose trainer Philippe Daugeard could not have wished for a better engagement. C3 – PRIX DE MORANGIS – 2875m (a2m) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 35,000 - LA FOULE – Second only to a very good filly in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class E 10 days ago. Will appreciate the new conditions and will be expected to hold her own
- LILOU DE GUOZ – Won on re-entry before confirming at Le Mans mid-July. Is new to the venue but is competitively-shod and can make this her own
- LIONELLE DU SOLEIL – Won a Class F at La Capelle prior to running 3rd of 12 in a 2700m Class E at the same venue a fortnight ago but in this company will struggle to make her mark
- LOVELY GODIVA – Eliminated early in a 2750m Cabourg Class E on 22 July. Has form at this level and can make a big splash if her handler keeps her focused
- LUMIERE MIKA – 7th of 8 in a claimer over course and distance last weekend. Has been a write-off all year and is not about to change her ways
- LIPA STAR – Finished last of 9 following a poor trip in a Class D over course and distance 3 weeks ago. Is plainly in excellent shape though and her new driver will be eager to set the record straight
- LYRE D’ERABLE – Won 2 in a row before running lacklustre 8th of 15 in a 2850m Laval Class D in late-June. Comes here fresh, does not have the colts to contend with, and must not be underestimated
- LOVE ME MAZELI – Failed to confirm La Capelle victory when 4th of 14 in a 2850m Carentan Class E on 19 July. Sports pads as she did when victorious at La Capelle but takes on too much this time
- LAETITIA MONTVASON – 4th of 14 in a 2750m Cabourg Class E on 22 July. Has been hard to fault recently and although unlikely to get her nose in front, should nevertheless be respected
- LAURENCE MADRIK – 4th of 11 behind LASSIE (11) in a Class E over track and trip a week ago. Has ground to make up though and is unlikely to create an upset
- LASSIE – Terrifically-engaged here after running 2nd of 11 in a Class E over track and trip a week ago. Change of driver this time, and looks main danger to LILOU DE GUOZ (2)
Summary: A different horse since returning to competition this summer, LILOU DE GUOZ (2) runs unshod-behind for her metropolitan debut and looks eminently capable of completing the hat-trick. LASSIE (11) completed her own before running 2nd under these conditions last weekend and, considering the entry, will be no easy touch. LOVELY GODIVA (4) may not be the most dependable of fillies but she won her only start at the venue and must be considered a major player. LIPA STAR (6) did not enjoy the best of runs here last month but Franck Nivard gets the nod this time.

C4 – PRIX DU BALLON D’ALSACE – 2875m (a2m) – Class C Race – Harness – EUR € 46,000 - MADINA MESLOISE – In the frame in 3 across town before faulting early in a 2150m Class C here 2 weeks ago. Should not be too hastily judged and could pleasantly surprise
- MANILLE D’ERABLE – 4th of 9, a place behind MERYTATON (6), in a Class C under these conditions on 2 July. Has yet to deliver at Enghien but in this small field can make the frame
- MIDNIGHT MOLLY – Showed promise in 2024 but disappointing this season, most recently 9th of 11 in a 2800m Bernay Class B last weekend, and is by some margin the weakest link
- MALVINA MADRIK – Eye-catching winner at Vincennes before being quickly eliminated in a 2150m Class C here 2 weeks ago. Benjamin Rochard takes over from her trainer and will be determined to put things right
- MY QUALITA PIYA – Eliminated, on first start since the spell, in a 2150m Class C here a fortnight back. Is clearly in fine shape though and can give MALVINA MADRIK (4) a run for her money
- MERYTATON – 3rd over course and distance a month ago before coming 7th of 8 finishers in a 2150m Class C here 2 weeks ago. Has decent reasons for the result and can be brought back into the fold
Summary: A few in contention here but it is hard to ignore how well MALVINA MADRIK (4) has comported herself when applied, and Benjamin Rochard will be keen to make up for last month’s sanction. He will want to be wary though of the talented but spirited MY QUALITA PIYA (5) who would have run 3rd that day had she stayed trotting. Winner at Caen before coming 4th here a month ago, MANILLE D’ERABLE (2) is unlikely to be out of the picture.

C5 – PRIX DE FORGES-LES-EAUX – 2150m (a1m1/4) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 41,000 - KAHIRA DES MARES – 5th of 10 in a 2100m Vincennes Class E on 24 June. Went close in both Enghien starts and is unlikely to be far off the mark
- KELLE EAU – Takes notable step up in category after easily winning a claimer over course and distance last weekend and is unlikely to spring any surprises
- QUEEN OF THE NIGHT – Has struggled since coming to France, most recently 9th of 12 behind ELOISE GAR (10) in a 2850m Vincennes Class D on 20 June, and can be ruled out
- ORLANDO VIVA – Has not been seen out since running 12th of 14 in a 2100m Vincennes Class C last April and will need the race
- KELLY D’ERABLE – Fine servant that finished last of 12 in a 2750m Cabourg Class F conditioner 9 days ago. Is barefoot, with David Thomain in the bike, and takes on her shortest trip to date with every chance of getting her nose in front
- KADIJA MESLOISE – Made up for Chartres sanction when comfortably winning a 2775m Class E at Les Sables-d’Olonne on 9 July. Races barefoot again and doubling her money would be no surprise
- KOKINE BECO – Has enjoyed fruitful run of form over past 3 months, latterly 3rd of 12 in a 2750m Ecommoy Class F 2 weeks ago. Cannot be considered a priority but for sheer consistency must be afforded respect
- KANAILLE ROYALE – Last but one when prepping for this in a 2900m Amiens Class E on 10 July. Shoes off this time, beat KELLY D’ERABLE (5) earlier in the year, and with application will have a lot to contribute
- EXMES AS – Won 2 at home in Germany before quickly faulting in a 2875m Class E here last weekend. Will be helped by the mobile start and despite the draw, looks a player
- ELOISE GAR – Starts for first time since running 7th of 12 in a 2850m Vincennes Class D on 20 June. Drops marginally in category and should prove more competitive. First 5
Summary: Reliability may not be her strong suit but KADIJA MESLOISE (6) put on quite the show last time out, is decently-placed on the front row, and is in with a shout of doubling her money. That said, KELLY D’ERABLE (5) has been kept on the boil, is shod to preference, and makes her Paris debut with a decent chance of imposing. KANAILLE ROYALE (8) is a tough nut when barefoot and focused and should find Enghien conditions to her liking. Good German import, EXMES AS (9) lost her action early here last time but will be no pushover if Michael Nimczyk gets her off on the right foot.

C6 – PRIX DE CHALONS DU MAINE – 2875m (a2m) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 46,000 - JUSTICE BRICKELL – Clearly going well when eliminated on re-entry in a Class D over course and distance on 10 July. Will be fully fit by now and is not going to be far from the action
- JOUVENCE SECRETE – Respectable 5th of 10 finishers behind JINA FOUTEAU (10) in a Class D over course and distance on 10 July. Faces a stiffer test this time but can nevertheless hold her own
- JUSQUINE FOUTEAU – 6th of 10 finishers behind JINA FOUTEAU (10) in a Class D over course and distance on 10 July and is unlikely to shake things up
- JAMAICA DE LOU – Eliminated for the 2nd time in a row when faulting in a 2900m Clairefontaine Class E a fortnight ago. Matthieu Abrivard in the bike this time and can figure prominently if he keeps her mind on the game
- IVA ROYALE – Ran good 4th of 11, a place behind JULIE DU CLOS (6), in a 2150m Class F here last Sunday. Would have finished closer had she not hesitated mid-straight and is not to be overlooked
- JULIE DU CLOS – In the frame in 2 of last 3, most recently 3rd of 11 in a 2150m Class F here last Sunday. Tends to go well at Enghien and is unlikely to return home empty-handed
- JOYCE ANGOT – Made it 2 on the trot when winning a 2750m Class E at Le Pertre 3 weeks ago. Winner on lone start for her Italian driver and has every chance of keeping that fact relevant
- JOYCE DES GRANGES – 8th of 16 in a 2600m Class G at Le Touquet early last month and in this company has no possible chance
- JORIA MESLOISE – Returns to a track she appreciates after being eliminated in a 2550m Bacqueville-en-Caux Class H 3 weeks ago, but in this category will have too much to do
- JINA FOUTEAU – Put in a fine effort to come 3rd of 10 finishers in a Class D over course and distance on 10 July. Enjoys an entry made in heaven and David Thomain will be keen to convert
Summary: An excellent campaigner with nothing to prove against horses like these, JOYCE ANGOT (7) makes her first trip to Paris with every chance of making it a winning one. Gabriele Gelormini is going to feel the heat though from JAMAICA DE LOU (4) who is hard to fault when focused, the wonderfully-entered JINA FOUTEAU (10) who left a good impression here last month, and JUSTICE BRICKELL (1) who, although eliminated on her comeback that day, is a fine servant when fit.

C7 – PRIX D’AIGREMONT – 2150m (a1m1/4) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 41,000 - KLEMS DE JAVIE – Disappointed at Cabourg before faulting in a 2700m Class E at La Capelle a fortnight back. Tends to go well here but still no more than a minor place chance
- KEN ZAO DE NAPPES – Was not disgraced when 6th of 13 in a 2875m Class E here 2.5 weeks ago but still has more to find
- ERES DORIAL MAIL – Left a good impression when 5th of 14 in a 2850m Vincennes Class D on 20 June. Faces a less-arduous task this time and from the 3-spot can challenge for the win
- KIRWAN THORIS – Flattering 4th of 6 finishers on re-entry in a 2875m Class E here 11 days ago, and is not about to shake things up
- EGUADOR – Eliminated in last 3, latterly showing his form though in a Class E over 2875m here 11 days ago. Shoes back on this time and from the 5-spot could pleasantly surprise
- ELITE D’ARC – Makes Enghien debut after flying up over 1660m in Cesena early last month. Starts for a stable in cracking condition and looks the pick of the lot
- KOMEO DU DOME – 3rd at La Capelle before running 4th of 16 in a 2750m Cabourg Class E on 11 July. Boasts fine references over these shorter trips and must be taken seriously
- NECTAR OCCAGNES – Has struggled since coming south, most recently eliminated in a 2850m Vincennes Class D on 20 June. Front pads fitted this time but others still preferred
- ECTOR ZL – Eliminated over 1660m in Cesena on 5 July. Not ideally-drawn but has evident ability, races barefoot, and will be entrusted to David Thomain
- KIRIO DE REUX – Encouraged at La Capelle before coming in a well-beaten 5th of 6 finishers, a place behind KIRWAN THORIS (4), in a 2875m Class E here 11 days ago, and is unlikely to create an upset
- ESPADA (ITY) – 4th of 6 finishers over 3000m at Avenches on 25 July. Reconfigured this time but still not a concern
- EXPLOIT KRONOS – Unbeaten in 4 starts in Germany this year, latterly winning over 2000m in Gelsenkirchen a month back. Meets a tougher bunch here but does not make the trip for reasons of tourism. Chance
Summary: Back in France and making his first appearance for Alain Chavatte, ELITE D’ARC (6) sports a fresh configuration, will be very much at home at Enghien, and can get straight down to business. Gabriele Gelormini will nevertheless be mindful of the better-positioned ERES DORIAL MAIL (3) who will appreciate the marginal drop in category, and KOMEO DU DOME (7) who looks close to his race. Boasting an enviable strike-rate, EXPLOIT KRONOS (12) steps up in category, and starts on the back line, but is as versatile as they come and is unlikely to disappoint.

C8 – PRIX DE LA PLACE VAUBAN – 2250m (a1m1/2) – Class C Race – Mounted – EUR € 68,000 - HATE YOU BEYLEV – Dominated a 2700m Vincennes Class D on 27 June. Takes on a much tougher lot this time however and will have his work cut out
- MADE OF STARS – Quality element that was oddly disappointing in a Class D over course and distance a month ago when 5th of 8 finishers. Has placed just once in 4 for Alexis Collette and cannot be considered a priority
- HOUARNEAU – Sanctioned in last 4, latterly a 3000m Nantes Class E on 2 June. Has had time to recalibrate, has already won under these conditions, and must not be overlooked
- MISTER DONALD – Disappointing so far this year, most recently 10th of 15 behind READLY LAVEC (8) in a 2150m harness Class D here on 19 July, and has no possible chance
- INITIALE CASTELETS – Finished 4th of 9, a close place behind IGO CLEA (11) in a 2850m Vincennes Class C on 20 June. Has never disappointed at Enghien and in current form is not going to be far off the mark
- HOTKATISSIME – Returns to the capital after running 6th of 12 behind IGO CLEA (11) in a 2750m Cabourg Class D on 11 July but will need to find significantly more
- IKURO JIEL – 4th of 12 behind IGO CLEA (11) in a 2750m Cabourg Class D on 11 July. Is never far from faulting but thrives under the saddle here and looks a serious proposition
- READLY LAVEC – Quality Swedish import that ran 2nd of 15 in a 2150m harness Class D here on 19 July. Placed on lone ridden start to date and is easy to fancy for the win
- HIS DREAM DE CAHOT – Showed improvement when 3rd of 12, a place behind IGO CLEA (11), in a 2750m Cabourg Class D on 11 July. Is in his category and looks a respectable first-5 contender
- FALTO DES LANDIERS – Distant last of 4 in a Class C over track and trip last weekend. Has never excelled at Enghien and is not about to start now
- IGO CLEA – 2nd of 12 in a 2750m Cabourg Class D on 11 July. Has been knocking at the door over recent months and it will not be long before he is rewarded with a win
Summary: Markedly improved here a fortnight ago, a reconfigured READLY LAVEC (8) makes just his second start under the saddle, having shown promise at home in Sweden, and has a realistic chance opening his French account. Maxime Tijou will still be keeping a watchful eye on the complicated but capable, and similarly reconfigured, IKURO JIEL (7) who will be out to turn the tables on the consistent IGO CLEA (11) who had his measure at Cabourg last month. HOUARNEAU (3) has bags of ability and can finish in the thick of things if Lilian Bertin keeps him trotting.

Summary: KIMBIA (8) did not show her best in a handicap over a longer trip at Chantilly. This distance looks more suitable for her and she can bounce back to score. Summary: Eleven unraced runners go to the post, and the betting is likely to tell the story. MUMMY DU SEUIL (8) is well bred, and her dam won four times on the flat. She gets a narrow vote ahead of MADONA DES MOTTES (10), whose dam also won four times on the flat. MARLAND (11) comes from a yard that produces plenty of winners and should be respected for that.
