C1 – PRIX HENRI DESMONTILS – 2950m (a2m) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 22,000

  1. KENAVO TUILERIE – Disqualified in his last four starts, the latest at Saint-Jean-de-Monts on 3 August. Probably best watched for now
  2. KOSMOS DU BOIS – Has improved of late and was a winner in Class E at Vichy over 2950m on 16 June. Can follow up in this line-up
  3. KYMJO DE BELFOND – Disqualified at Questembert over 3125m on 3 August. Has disqualification issues but is capable of winning when wise
  4. KHEOPS CASTELETS – His last win was in 2023 and he was unplaced in Class E at Clairefontaine-Deauville over 2900m on 13 July. Has done well with this shoe arrangement and is not out of it
  5. KANARY BAY – In very good form and was runner-up in Class E at Meslay-du-Maine over 2875m on 29 July. Can go one better this time
  6. KAMELIA DE JEAN – Has disqualification issues and was disqualified at Enghien over 2875l on 23 July. Unreliable but is capable of playing a minor role when wise
  7. KAPPA – Unreliable and finished 6th in Class D at Cabourg over 2050m on 16 August. Likely to need this run returning from a break
  8. KANCALAIS – Disappointing form of late and was unplaced in Class D at Le Mont-Saint-Michel over 2600m on 30 June. Capable of better but others are preferred
  9. KALITY LOVE – Disappointing form of late and finished 9th in Class E at Guerlesquin over 2900m on 28 July. Capable of an upset on best form
  10. KABOTIN CHENEVIERE – Has struggled of late and finished tenth in Class E at Enghien over 2875m on 17 July. Did better earlier this year and is capable of an upset.
  11. KYRIA BELLA – Very consistent this year and finished 3rd in Class E at Enghien over 2875m on 23 July. Big chance in this line-up
    Summary: KYRIA BELLA (11) has been good throughout this year. Surprisingly, this is the first time she is fully barefoot, which suggests a winning turn could be on the cards. KANARY BAY (5) has won two of her last four starts and will not go down easily. KHEOPS CASTELETS (4) has been a disappointment of late but could be a threat for Eric Raffin. KYMJO DE BELFOND (3) is hard to trust but did win his penultimate start and deserves respect for that.

  15. RUGER – Did not show his best and was 7th in class F at Enghien over 2150m on 23 July. Did better in his penultimate start and has a winning chance
  16. HELYSEE WILD – Unreliable and finished 12th in Class E at Saint-Jean-de-Monts over 2625m on 27 July. Needs to do more to beat these rivals
  17. GLOBAL ATTENTION – Unreliable and finished 7th in class F at Lucon over 3025m on 20 July. Victorious earlier in July and could make the frame
  18. HARRY D’OURVILLE – Disqualified in class E at Enghien over 2875m on 19 July. Not easy to trust but is capable of winning a race of this nature if wise
  19. IXELLE BLEUE – Disappointing late run when 14th in Class E at Montmirail over 3200m on 13 July. Did better in her penultimate start and has a place chance
  20. GARDEN OF MEMORY – Unreliable and finished 6th in class E at Royan La Palmyre over 2475m on 27 July. Has a place chance on best form
  21. ANOTHER CREATION – Has struggled this year and was 13th in Class D at Cabourg over 2750m on 4 July. On a long losing run, and others make more appeal
  22. HOMMAGE DE TILLARD – Victorious in Class E at Royan La Palmyre over 2475m on 27 July. Has won on three occasions this year and is not out of it when wise
  23. IMPARTIAL – Has struggled of late and was 9th in class E at Montmirail over 3200m on 13 July. Needs to find a few lengths to win
  24. GARD – Victorious in Class E at Biarritz over 2150m on 19 July. Holding form and is capable of playing a minor role
  25. IMPERIAL MABON – Has struggled of late and was 9th in class E at Saint-Jean-de-Monts over 2625m on 13 July. Capable of a surprise for Eric Raffin
  26. HAS DE COEUR – Has only been modest this year and was 6th in class D at Enghien over 2150m on 26 July. Has shown improvement of late but more is needed to win
  27. HAUTAIN – Unreliable and finished 4th in class E at Bernay over 2800m on 27 July. On a long losing streak and others make more appeal
    Summary: CLICK STARLIGHT (3) has looked good winning his last two starts. He is not fully barefoot this time but can still complete the hat-trick. RUGER (4) remains barefoot and is best judged on his good performance at Châteaubriant in his penultimate start. HARRY D’OURVILLE (7) has disqualification issues but did win at this track in June and has a winning chance when behaving. HOMMAGE DE TILLARD (11) has won three times this year and is another to consider.

  34. JADOU DU LUPIN – Unreliable but finished 3rd in Class F at Châtelaillon-La Rochelle over 2625m on 13 July. Has won twice this year and is capable of an upset
  35. JACKPOT DE JUMILLY – Not disgraced when 5th in Class F at Agon-Coutainville over 3450m on 25 July. Capable of earning some minor money
  36. JOFESCA BUISSONAY – Knocking at the door and was runner-up in Class F at Ecommoy over 2750m on 20 July. Can go one better
  37. MOSES BOKO – Needed his only run of the year when 6th in Class F at Enghien over 2150m on 23 July. Fitter this time and can score
  38. JAVOTTE MADRIK – Only modest of late and finished 7th in Class G at Langon over 2800m on 15 July. Needs to do a bit more to beat these rivals
    Summary: MOSES BOKO (10) will strip fitter after his comeback run. He won better races than this last year and gets the vote to score. DEMIDOFF CLA (1) has been unreliable this year but went close to winning at Cabourg and must be respected for that performance. EL VEGO KHALIFA (2) has not won for over a year but can be competitive once again. DALI’DEL RONCO (4) is consistent but is also prone to disqualifications, as in his last start.

  41. HOLERO LOVE – Has lost the way this year and finished 15th in Class D at Le Mont-Saint-Michel over 2675m on 16 July. Needs to find a few lengths to win
  42. IDOLE OF LOVE – Disqualified at Biarritz over this distance on 26 July. Not reliable but is capable of winning when in the right frame of mind
  43. JEANNETTE PRIORY – Disqualified at Cabourg over 2750m on 18 July. Did very well at the beginning of this year and would not be a surprise winner
  44. INTOUCHABLE – Disappointing last run when 7th in Class C at Enghien over 2875m on 30 July. Did better before that, and can get involved with the finish
  45. HARDI CROWN – On a long losing run but finished 3rd in Class B at Cabourg over 2750m on 18 July. Can play a minor role at best
  46. JUNE – Unreliable and finished 8th in a class A mounted race at Vincennes over 2850m on 13 June. Not easy to trust, but can win when wise
  47. ILAYA – Unplaced in a Class A race at Bréhal over 3400m on 27 July. Needs major improvement to win this race and others are preferred
  48. INDY DE JYR – Unreliable but was victorious in a Group 3 TQQ Multi-National race at Toulouse over 2950m on 18 June. Can follow up
  49. JAG STRYCK – Finished 11th in a Group 2 mounted race at Vincennes over 2700m on 31 August. Returns from a lengthy break and could need this run
  50. KING OPERA – At the top of his game with some good wins, the latest in a Class B race at Bernay over 2800m on 27 July. Can complete a hat-trick
  51. HEDIC GEMA – Unreliable and finished 10th at Cabourg over 2750m on 18 July. Does best when barefoot and might play a minor role
  52. HYMNE DU GERS – Showed some improvement and finished 6th in Group 2 at Vichy over 2950m on 1 July. Can go one better this time
  53. IGREC DE CELLAND – -Unreliable and was disqualified at Enghien over 1609m on 12 July. Has a place chance if smart this time
  54. FULTON – A winner in a Group 2 mounted race at Vincennes over 2175m on 4 November 2024. Returns from a break and others are preferred
    Summary: A very open-looking event. KING OPERA (12) gets the vote to score after some good recent wins. KATAKI DE WALLIS (1) has a 25m start on that rival and could prove hard to catch if behaving this time. JUNE (8) has been a disappointment this year, but she remains barefoot and could contest the finish. JEANNETTE PRIORY (5) has been very good this year but has let her supporters down with a couple of disqualifications of late.

  60. FLOPY RUSH – Only modest of late and finished 6th in class C at Les Sables-d’Olonne over 2775m on 25 July. Needs to find a few lengths to win
  61. HASUR DAIRPET – Only modest of late and finished tenth in class D at Le Mont-Saint-Michel over 2675m on 16 July. Battling to regain best form, and others are preferred
  62. IVANOF – Disqualified in class C at Enghien over 2875m on 26 July. Hard to trust but is capable of earning some money when wise
  63. GUAPO MARBOULA – Unreliable and finished 7th in class D at Montignac over 3325m on 25 July. Victorious in February but this is a tougher race
  64. JUPITER DE PLAY – A winner in Class C at Enghien over 2875m on 26 July. On an impressive winning streak and should be a real threat to these rivals
    Summary: Some very much in-form rivals go to the post for this race. JULIA QUICK (5) fluffed her lines with a disqualification at Châtelaillon-La Rochelle last month. She had won some nice races before that and can bounce back to win. JUPITER DE PLAY (10) has been very good all year and will be right there at the finish yet again. JIMINY CRICKET (2) is not as reliable as those two selections but has been winning races of late and is not out of it. JUPITER DU CORTA (1) is also capable of making the frame when smart.

  70. LOCO FLIGNY – Holding form and finished 4th in Class D at Enghien over 2150m on 19 April. Returns from a break but is not out of it
  71. LOVELY JENILOU – Has improved this year and finished 3rd in Class D at Enghien over 2875m on 12 July. Be right there at the finish
  72. LOVER JULMA – Unreliable and finished 10th in Class C at Vincennes over 2850m on 27 June. Has a place chance on best form
  73. LASKA DU LEVANT – Has struggled of late and finished 11th in a Group I race at Vincennes over 2850m on 22 June. Better under the saddle and others are preferred
    Summary: LOCKED UP (4) did not show his best at Laval in June. He was a good winner when going right-handed before that and remains barefoot, so is capable of scoring. LUI DU DONJON (1) ran in a better race than this last time out and is barefoot for the very first time, so will be a threat to these rivals. LYSANDRA (5) performed better last year and would not be a surprise winner. LOVELY JENILOU (7) has been at her best when fully barefoot and can be very competitive yet again.

  82. HURRICANE STEED – Very consistent this year and finished 3rd in a Class F at Meslay-du-Maine over 2875m on 29 July. Be right there in the thick of things
  83. HIJO MOKO – Disqualified at Enghien on 27 July. Has been struggling for some time now and others make more appeal in this line-up
  84. HORS CADRE – Unreliable but was victorious in Class E at Saint-Jean-de-Monts over 2625m on 27 July. Could make the frame
  85. HAMILTON DU LUPIN – Disappointing form of late and finished 8th in a Class F at Pornichet-La Baule over 2725m on 24 July. Did better earlier this year and is not out of it
  86. JOY JENILOU – In good form and was runner-up in Class D at Laval over 2850m on 6 July. Can be competitive yet again
  87. HISTOIRE DU LUPIN – Bounced back to best and was a winner in a Class F at Pornichet-La Baule over 2725m on 31 July. Not easy to trust, but might follow up
    Summary: HARABICA (7) has been good all year and has a couple of wins behind him. He gets a narrow vote in a competitive-looking race and goes very well for André Lair. JOY JENILOU (13) is talented but does give a 50m start to that rival. HURRICANE STEED (9) is usually in the thick of things and should be involved in the finish once again. HISTOIRE DU LUPIN (14) is not reliable but did win a nice race at Pornichet-La Baule and cannot be ruled out.

  94. MOSCOW MULE – Has looked good so far and was victorious in Class D at Clairefontaine-Deauville over 2900m on 13 July. Can double up
  95. MAJOR MESLOIS – Yet to win a race and finished 8th in Class C at Cabourg over 2750m on 11 July. Needs to find a few lengths to win
    Summary: MOZAR DE REVE D’OR (4) showed talent when scoring at Amiens and is improving. He can take out this competitive lucky last race. MOSCOW MULE (7) has not done much wrong so far and has already won twice, so is a real threat. MAZAR DE VANDEL (6) is progressing and has every chance of doubling up after a good win at Le Mont-Saint-Michel last month. MUSE DU VALLON (3) is consistent and can get into the mix yet again.

  1. JUST DAYDREAM – Eliminated in a 3000m Rochefort-sur-Loire Class F on 20 July. Has been out of sorts for some months and needs to get her house in order
  2. JOLICOEUR DU MIREL – Failed to live up to expectations when 8th of 9, a place behind JANGO ANGELE (3), in a 2900m Clairefontaine amateurs Class H on 20 July. Is a tough nut when focused and must not be overlooked
  3. JANGO ANGELE – 8th of 10 in a 2900m Amiens amateurs Class G a week ago. Goes barefoot this time and on good behaviour can get in on the action
  4. HE MISS DEIHA – Has taken well to the amateur division, most recently winning a 2750m Class G at La Capelle on 21 July. Benefits from a front row start once again and can repeat
  5. HEAVEN JIEL – 3rd of 12 to HE MISS DEIHA (4) in a 2750m amateurs Class G at La Capelle on 21 July. Is plainly in fine shape and easy to like for a place in the frame
  6. IDEAL DE FOUQUE – Got back in the game 2.5 weeks ago when 4th of 10 in a 2900m Amiens amateurs Class G. Shoes back on though and chances of a repeat seem slim
  7. GAZON DE LA VALLEE – 3rd of 15 in a 3125m Plesse amateurs Class H last week. Less competitively-shod this time and others preferred
  8. ILEVEN – In the frame in last 4, most recently 2nd of 13 in a 2750m amateurs Class H at La Ferté-Vidame 2.5 weeks ago. In marginally better company but is still a leading candidate
  9. HOLP UP SAUTREUIL – Sanctioned early in a 2700m Class F at La Capelle on 25 July. Takes a notable dip in category and with application can figure prominently
  10. ILLUMINATI – Returns to the amateur code after finishing last but one in a 2700m Class F at La Capelle on 11 July and is not about to generate much interest
  11. HARIBELLE DANOVER – 7th of 14 in a 2700m Graignes amateurs monte Class G 11 days ago. Enjoys a good entry at the limit of earnings and is unlikely to be too far from the action
    Summary: Despite being forced to race nose to the wind at La Capelle recently, HE MISS DEIHA (4) nevertheless imposed her will and a similar effort would see her double up. Third that day, HEAVEN JIEL (5) is 25m worse off this time but still looks competitively well in. He may however first have to see off 2nd line starter ILEVEN (8) who has hardly put a foot out of line all year, and HOLP UP SAUTREUIL (9) who drops sufficiently in class to make his candidacy considerably more interesting.

  13. MYROS DE PALMA AR – Failed to confirm Laon success when 8th of 9 in a 2150m Enghien Class E 10 days ago and is not about to spring any surprises
  14. MAYA DES BAUX – Pleasant 4th of 12 in a 2700m Vittel Class E on 27 July but in this company has no possible chance
  15. MOTS BLEUS – Starts for first time since running 3rd of 9 in a 2700m Graignes Class E 2 months ago. In notably better company and is unlikely to paint the town red
  16. MARIE LOU DE LARRE – Opened her account at Abbeville before running 4th of 11 in a 2950m Le Mans Class E 11 days ago. Unlikely to impose but is unlikely to be far off the mark either
  17. MBAPPE DE NIEL – Failed to confirm Rambouillet victory when eliminated in a 2700m Vittel Class E 10 days ago, but with stride in check can pick up some prizemoney
  18. MISS UNIVERS – Lost his maiden tag at Avranches on 20 July before being eliminated in a 2150m Enghien Class E 10 days later. Faces a less-competitive bunch this time but still cannot be considered a priority
  19. MIRAGE DE KARMEL – Made up for early-July sanction when 2nd only to a very good colt in a 2950m Le Mans Class F 3 weeks ago, and seems thoroughly capable of opening his account
  20. MIDNIGHT WAY – Good, consistent sort that ran 3rd of 13 in a 2200m Agon Class E on 25 July. Steps up in category but still looks competitive for a first-5 cheque
  21. MANGO PAULO – Never at his ease when last of 12 in a 2200m Caen Class D on 23 June. Is plainly better than that and will be expected to bounce back and challenge for the win this time
  22. MULANE DU BOCAGE – Opened her account in early-June, then ran 5th of 8 finishers in a 2150m Enghien Class E on 12 July. Is more competitive in this category and will be no soft touch
    Summary: A promising colt that pleasantly surprised at Le Mans mid-July, MIRAGE DE KARMEL (8) looks close to his race and under these conditions can oblige. She will still be justifiably wary of GITAN DE TOUCHYVON (9) who won here almost exactly a year ago, and the wonderfully capable JAMES OF CARLY (8) who is shod to preference for his first objective of the season.   41. ZEN – An unraced daughter of Zarak out of the Buddha mare, Cool And Composed. The betting market will be a good guide with regards to her chances
    Summary: SHIVA FLOWER (15) was initially entered for the Group 1 Prix de Diane. Her mother was a Group 3 winner and with Christophe Soumillon doing duty, she can start her career on a winning note. GAUGAMELA (2) was also entered for the Group 1 Prix de Diane. With luck from the wide draw, she should give a good account of herself. ENGLESQUEVILLE (3) hails from the Jean-Claude Rouget yard and the betting market must be monitored with regards to her chances. SIYOULA (14) is a daughter of Siyouni and with Maxime Guyon up, she should run a positive race.

    Summary: BOBBY JEAN (3) put up a decent effort at this track last time over shorter and could finally have her day in the sun after three runner-up finishes. DIYAA (14) finished not too far behind the selection in her penultimate start and followed up with a promising second place last time. Experienced MIAIMAOU (5) has her chance in this sort of company, as does MASCULINISTE (6), winner of a claiming race last time.

  65. SHANCEL – Won a Handicap over 2000m at Vichy on 16 July. Maxime Guyon rode him to victory last time and retains the ride. Should run well
  66. SAPHO – Finished 4th in a Handicap over 2100m at Vittel on 7 July. Nice effort but will have a lot more to do this time
  67. REJAITT – Ran 3rd in a Handicap over 2100m at ParisLongchamp on 10 July. Has proven abilty at this level and should perform well once again
  68. MAKING WAVES – Finished 4th in a Handicap over 2000m at Vichy on 16 July. She is running well but will need to show more if she is to make waves in this race
  69. NUIT DE L’HOMME – Finished 4th in a Handicap over 2000m at Vichy on 16 July. Well held by SHANCEL (8) on that run but has the ability to place
  70. IRINA – Finished 6th in a Handicap over 2000m at Compiegne on 24 July. She has a lot more to do this time

    Summary: A solid place getter in all of his three races on turf, RIVER QUARTZ (2) deserves a place in the No 1 box. Improving CELTIC FURY (6) was not far behind last time and stands out as the main danger. A winner last time out and loaded with experience, SHANCEL (8) should perfrom well again. A strong finisher, REJAITT (10) will benefit from the longer distance this time.

  80. BLACK MAGIC WOMAN – Finished 14th in a Claimer over 1900m at Deauville on 27 November 2024. Her form is completely uninspiring and she comes back from a layoff
  81. HINAT – Finished 4th in a Maiden over 1400m at Dieppe on 14 June. Beaten by SPRING HEART (5) in that race but she is on the up
  82. SAGANNE – Ran 12th in a Conditions race over 1400m at Deauville on 4 January. A useful frontrunner who comes back from a layoff but has ability
  83. NURTURE – Ran 10th in a Handicap over 1300m at Deauville on 31 January. She comes back from a layoff but is not lacking in quality
  84. CHIVERE – Ran 7th in a Handicap over 1400m at Compiegne on 21 July. Despite her last two poor performances, she cannot be written off
  85. SULAYA – An unraced four-year-old filly by Shalaa out of Dalakhani mare Salve Diana. Mare has yet to produce a winner so cannot be fancied
    Summary: A very gutsy second in November 2023 in a much better field and now gelded, HARRY BASSETT (1) is making an expected return. Second in his last four outings SPRING HEART (5) has a winning case. Earning seven times in nine outings and a strong galloper, SAGANNE (9) should make the others work hard. HINAT (8) seems to on an upward trajectory.

  91. RUE DES ORTEAUX – Finished 11th in a Handicap over 2900m at this track on 6 July. Will need to find more in order to feature
  92. BEAUTIFOAL – Ran 3rd in a Conditions race over 2900m at Guerlesquin on 28 July. She has had great success fitted with classic blinkers and performed well enough last time
  93. PEPITO DES CARLES – Finished 11th in a Handicap over 2500m at ParisLongchamp on 30 April. Had a short rest and hopefully can show improvement
  94. VITUS BERING – Ran 7th in a Handicap over 2000m at Vichy on 14 July. His handicap rating is dropping but he will be fitted with Australian blinkers for the first time
  95. VINO – Finished 5th in a Handicap over 2400m at Vittel on 20 July. Appears totally outclassed in this line up
  96. LOUISE DE BADE – Ran 4th in a Handicap over 2650m at Chateaubriant on 23 July. She suffered interference on the turn in that race but still performed well
  97. PRINCE SHALAA – Finished 9th in a Handicap over 2400m at Compiegne on 21 July. Takes a massive jump in class and is unlikely to feature
  98. SUMMER FLIRT – Ran 2nd in a Handicap over 2000m at ParisLongchamp on 10 July. She was narrowly beaten last time in a strong race and looks the one to beat
  99. ENORA SENORA – Finished 8th in a Conditions race over 2000m at Saint-Cloud on 9 July. Looks totally outclassed in this line-up
  100. SUBLIME CHOPE – Ran 6th in a Handicap over 2400m at Saint-Cloud on 9 July. Looks to be out of her depth in this field
  101. FALABELLA – Finished 13th in a Handicap over 2400m at Saint-Cloud on 10 June. Cannot be recommended based on current form
    Summary: Despite an excellent final burst, SUMMER FLIRT (13) narrowly missed out on a victory last time and gave the impression there was more to come from her. However, she should not underestimate BEAUTIFOAL (7), who is displaying some of her best form. LOUISE DE BADE (11) has been unlucky recently and deserves better fortune this time. VITUS BERING (9) is now better weighted and should be more competitive.

  106. SHALAA DANCER – Only modest of late and finished 8th in a Conditions race at Aix-les-Bains over 2500m on 13 July. Did better last year and could surprise
  107. MAIZIERES – Disappointing last run when unplaced in a handicap at Dieppe over 2200m on 22 July. Place chance on best form
  108. NATH SHOW – Disappointing last run when unplaced in a handicap at Châteaubriant over 2650m on 23 July. In good form before that and can make the frame
  109. EL TIGRE – Only modest of late and was 9th in a handicap at ParisLongchamp over 2400m on 8 June. Needs to find a few lengths to win
  110. QUEENFLEUR – Has some fair form of late and was not disgraced when 5th in handicap at Dieppe over 2200m on 22 July. Might play a minor role
  111. FEE DU VIVIEN – Showed some improvement when 5th in handicap at Compiegne over 2000m on 29 July. Can pop up in a place
  112. READY KING – Holding form well and was third in a handicap at Saint-Cloud over 2400m on 9 July. Can do even better this time
  113. LA MAZZI GOGO – Much improved this year and is coming off two handicap wins, the latest at Saint-Cloud over 2400m on 9 July. Carries a 3.50kg penalty but can complete the treble
  114. CARTIMANDUA – Has some fair form and finished 5th in a handicap at Vichy over 2400m 25 July. Could earn some minor money
  115. LIENESSE – Much improved last time out when runner-up in a handicap at Saint-Cloud over 2400m on 9 July. Can go one better this time
  116. VULDETRADE – Has been in good form of late and was runner-up in a handicap at Vichy over 2000m on 14 July. Better this distance and is not out of it
  117. CRICRI D’AMOUR – Unreliable but did finish third in a handicap at Marseille-Vivaux over 2650m on 21 June. Prefers the PSF and others make more appeal
    Summary: LA MAZZI GOGO (12) has shown what she is capable of lately with some solid wins. She carries a penalty for her recent success at Saint-Cloud but may well follow up. READY KING (11) was far from disgraced behind that rival and should do even better with the weight in his favour. LIENESSE (14) has scope to improve past both those rivals, having had only four starts. CREEKATTEMPS (3) ran well at Châteaubriant and can contest the finish.
