Summary: LIBELLIA ANTIQUE (7) was an easy fifteen-length winner over hurdles at Châteaubriant in late July and holds strong claims now switching back to the flat. KRACBOUM CIERGUES (1), a flat winner at Vichy two starts ago, could provide the main challenge. Summary: RUE DAGUERRE (8) was a good second here over 2700m late last month and now steps up in trip. He’s progressive, and his style of running suggests the extra 700m will suit. ALI PACHA (4) also ran well over this track and trip in a maiden on July 22nd and could pose the main threat. - RED IRIS – Three unplaced runs over hurdles this year, the latter over 3800m in a claiming race at Plesse on July 28th. Opposable
- SPRINGBOKS – 5th two runs back over 1950m at Chateaubriant on June 25th in a Class 4 handicap. Can be involved

Summary: GOGO DU BREUIL (3) was a game winner at Guerlesquin in a Class 4 event late last month and the drop into claiming company gives hope of following up. His main threat could be ACCORD PARFAIT (1), who was third at the same track in a similar race last time and can not be overlooked. SPRINGBOKS (5) was fifth on the penultimate start in a Class 4 handicap in June, which was a creditable run, and he looks like a sensible each-way pick. LUNDO (7) heads the rest.

- MAR NEGRO – Several unplaced runs of late, well beaten over 2450m in a maiden race at Mont-De-Marsan on July 16th last time out. Hard to recommend
Summary: Despite top weight, HAYA LAND (1) has shaped well when third on his latest two runs, the latter on his handicap debut at Vichy last month. He should excel over the step-up in distance this time. VESCO (2) won over the track and trip late last month and warrants respect. Summary: LIBERA (7) has progressed in her last two starts, notably finishing a close third in a Class 2 hurdle at Vittel in early July—a race that’s since been boosted by the runner-up winning next time out. She can get the better of ANGE MAGIC (6), who has finished in the frame on all four outings and ran well when second at Châteaubriant on July 23rd. LEHON MADRIK (2) is another on an upward curve and should be competitive. GALIAKO DE BOULEM (1) appears best of the remainder.

Summary: Although recently seen over fences, SAFILLE DE HOUELLE (6) should have no issue returning to hurdles. She ran a solid second at Aix Les Bains last month and may prove too sharp for LAPSUS (3), who brings strong form with four consecutive wins over hurdles and fences but hasn’t been seen since July 2024.
