UTHER (5) is lightly raced but seems to be a very progressive sort packed with ability and he could have a loud shout. SIMCA MILLE (4) is absolutely flying, having won his last three starts but has a much tougher task at hand. MARQUISAT (1) returns after eight months and if the freshener is not needed, Cristian Demuro could guide him well into the frame.

- DOSTOIEVSKY – Out of the 1 time winning mare Vlatka who competed at a Listed level in her career. He could very well need the first time experience
Summary: CIELO DI ROMA (5) produced a dapper debut effort when running second and should strip much fitter to the task. He is neatly drawn and has every chance of getting his head in front. WOLLEMI (4) enjoyed the step to the 1400m last time and lost by a whisker when he found one better. He returns to the trip but seeks to make amends and claim his first career win. Supplemented YEP (2) is well entered and could very well awaken the top two choices if they are caught asleep. BULLET ANT (1) heads the rest.

Summary: This appears to be a rather warm race and it could pay to follow the form going forward. RHIYANNA (8) was just touched off last time out by a horse who has franked their own form by winning next time out and this filly should go very close to winning. TARATEEL(2) showed signs of greenness on debut and would have learnt plenty from that experience which should hold her in good stead. DO FOR LOVE (1) comes from a race that has worked out already and this filly should run well. WHAKA (4) was just second best on debut and should run a bold race.

Summary: ASMARANI (1) was outgunned by some smart sorts last time out and will be a far more effective horse back on home soil. He drops in class and should take a power of beating against this lot despite going the trip for the first time. HOTHEADED (5) should relish the step up in trip and will continue to improve which should see him featuring. - NELATI DE MORGANE – Qualified in 1’17″9 at Meslay-du-Maine on 12 May. Is unlikely to impose first time out but should nevertheless hold his own
- NEMROD BUROIS – Unraced colt that posted 1’18″2 in Laval qualification on 17 June. Comes here fresh and takes on some tough elements, but can still make first 5
- NATIWHEL – Fastest qualifier here but failed to fire when last of 8 behind NASDAK CHARENCEY (6) in a Class D over track and trip on debut 10 days ago, and will need to find more
- NECK OUEST – Ran good 2nd of 10 in a 2150m Class F at Les Sables-d’Olonne on 25 July. Will have come on for the race and can dominate proceedings this time
- NASDAK CHARENCEY – Sanctioned on debut here 2.5 weeks ago before running a reassuring 3rd of 8 in a similar event a week later and will not be sent out at 39/1 this time
- NEW WORLD – Ran excellent 3rd of 11 in a Class D over track and trip on debut 2.5 weeks ago despite enduring a tough trip. Is sure to have progressed for the run and with Eric Raffin in the bike could yet get his nose in front
- NELSON DE BUSSET – 4th of 11, a place behind NEW WORLD (7), in a Class D over track and trip on debut 2.5 weeks ago before repeating, a place behind NASDAK CHARENCEY (6), under similar conditions a week later, and not a priority this time
Summary: One of a few promising juveniles here, Philippe Allaire’s NECK OUEST (5) put in a fine effort in good company on his debut at Les Sables-d’olonne 2 weeks ago and should be in a position to open his account this time. David Thomain will still be keeping an eye on NEW WORLD (7) who ran 3rd under these conditions first time out, and NASDAK CHARENCEY (6) who was eliminated that day before making amends just a week later. The untried NELATI DE MORGANE (2) qualified nicely and looks a serious colt.

- MONA D’AVRIL – 8th of 14, on return from a lengthy layoff, in a 2150m Class E here late last month. Was not the luckiest that day and Pierre-Yves Verva will be keen to show what she is capable of
- MASTERCLASS D’EARL – 4th of 11 finishers in a 2750m Cabourg Class E mid-July. Is new to Enghien but in the absence of Yoann Lebourgeois is unlikely to shake things up
- MAFIA DU BAS BOSQ – Unplaced in 2 here before running 3rd of 10 in a 2700m Class E at La Capelle a fortnight back. Eric Raffin in the bike this time and is not to be overlooked
- MASERATI GHIBLI – Made up for Amiens elimination when easily winning a 2700m Graignes Class F 2 weeks ago. Steps up in category but is patently on the right road and confirmation is a distinct possibility

- MALAVISTA SOMOLLI – Ran an encouraging 2nd at Chartres before being quickly eliminated in a 2725m Cabourg Class D 2.5 weeks ago. Anthony Barrier in the bike this time and will be expected to put things right
- MILA DES COUPERIES – Thoroughly professional to date, latterly 3rd of 8 finishers in a 2150m Class E here on 12 July. Is plainly a promising future prospect and looks the pick of the field
- MALINE DES ARRIS – Just missed out in a 2725m Cabourg Class D 2.5 weeks ago. Takes on a similar lot here and will be competitive for a place on the podium
- MERVEILLE BOKO – Last of 9 when preparing for this over 2600m at Duindigt in late-June. Enjoys a terrific entry and the engagement of a top driver speaks volumes
Summary: Solid as a rock since her successful debut, MILA DES COUPERIES (9) left a good impression here a month back and has every chance of winning a race of this nature. She will still face opposition from the tricky but talented MASERATI GHIBLI (6) who has won 2 of his last 3, and the in-form MALINE DES ARRIS (10) who imposed on her only left-handed start. Proven at Cagnes earlier in the year, MERVEILLE BOKO (11) has a brace of runs under her belt and has been entrusted to David Thomain for the first time.

- LARIFLETTE – Excellent servant with a superb claiming record, and even though unseen since winning a 2100m claimer at Vincennes in April, will be barefoot for re-entry and decently-positioned behind the car
- LUNIK DU CHOQUEL – Unraced since being eliminated in a 2175m Vincennes monte Gr.2 in late-April. Is confirmed under harness, sports a new formula, and from the 3-spot will have every chance to make an impression
- LANNISTER D’AVRIL – 8th of 11 on comeback in a 2725m Cabourg Class D 2.5 weeks ago. Placed behind LODESTAR (1) on lone appearance at this level and looks the principal threat
- LOVE LETTERS FERM – Unexceptional in last 2, latterly 7th of 9 finishers in a 2750m monte Class E at La Capelle 9 days ago. Barefoot this time but still not a concern
- LOZEN DE BANVILLE – 2nd to LODESTAR (1) across town before missing the break, coming last of 8 in a 2875m claimer here late last month. Has evident aptitude at this level and looks a respectable place prospect
- LE CAP – Last of 11 in a 2725m Cabourg Class D on 22 July. Stays shod once more and can be passed over
- LARGO DE JOUDES – Last of 12 when preparing for this in a 2750m Cabourg Class E a fortnight back. Is proven at this level, runs barefoot for the occasion, but still not an obvious choice
- LAIKA DES MARES – Last but one in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class E on Wednesday and backs up with nothing to offer
- L’ARTISTE DE GAGOU – Makes metropolitan debut after finishing 6th of 9 in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class E on 24 July. Is no star but is still good enough to eke out a minor place cheque
- LIKE YOU MADRIK – Made up for Ecommoy sanction when 3rd of 8 in a 2875m claimer here a fortnight ago. Forced to start on back row but still has the wherewithal to challenge for a place in the frame
- LADY D’ECOTAY – 4th of 9, on first start for 2 months, in a 2200m Le Mans Class E mid-July. Has never disappointed in the day’s configuration and despite a tough draw is still worth monitoring
Summary: Facile winner of a Vincennes claimer mid-May, LODESTAR (1) has looked rather ordinary in better company since, but drops back in class and with Alexandre Abrivard reining can get back to victorious ways. 3rd to him in May, LANNISTER D’AVRIL (4) has a return run in him since the spell and will not be inconvenienced by the draw. Sent for a short rest after finishing runner-up that day, LOZEN DE BANVILLE (6) also has a race under her belt, starts in front, and is unlikely to disappoint. Difficult to knock when barefoot and focused, LIKE YOU MADRIK (11) is easy to recommend for a place in the mix.

C4 – PRIX DE L’HOTEL DE VILLE – 2150m (a1m1/4) – Class R Claiming Amateur Riders – Harness – EUR € 18,000 - GOLIATH DU CAUX – Last but one in a 2525m Cavaillon Class B on 17 June. Has been out of sorts this season and can expect to have few friends
- GUEPARD DE TILLARD – Last of 14 in 17 July race of reference prior to coming 5th of 8 in a 2475m Villereal claimer last Saturday. Takes on a tougher bunch here and chances limited
- HOBAMA – Ran 2nd of 14 to GALLAGHER WIND (6) in a claimer over course and distance on 17 July. Put in a fast time that day and from the 3-spot looks a leading contender
- FEUX VERTS – Last but one in a 2875m claimer here on 26 June. Trounced in last 3 starts in the day’s configuration and others easier to back
- GLOSSY BOY – 6th of 14 to GALLAGHER WIND (6) in a claimer over course and distance on 17 July. Boasts solid references in this category and while not a priority, is drawn well, sports a new configuration, and must be taken seriously
- GALLAGHER WIND – Won a claimer over course and distance before faulting early, finishing last of 11, in a 2400m Amiens Class D 10 days ago. Is plainly in shape and can impose if his driver manages to get him off on the right foot
- EXPRESSO GOOD – Unraced since being eliminated in a 2850m Vincennes claimer in May 2024. Stays shod for comeback and will have nothing to contribute
- FILLMORE – Last of 7 finishers behind HEAGLE ONE (11) in a 2875m claimer here last Saturday. Has decent references at this level, however a different configuration would be preferred
- HOMMAGE DE LARRE – Unremarkable 5th of 7 finishers in a 2875m claimer here last Sunday. Can trot when bothered to though and should not be ruled out
- IGOR VICKING – Eliminated, on return to competition last Sunday, in a 2425m Sainte-Marie-du-Mont Class F last Sunday, and is not about to spring any surprises
- HEAGLE ONE – Somewhat unlucky 2nd of 7 finishers in a 2875m claimer here last Sunday. Handed a second-row draw but is clearly in fine fettle and will be no pushover if Joan Melis Macias keeps him out of trouble
- GOSSIP BOY – 8th of 9 in a 2875m amateurs Class F here last Sunday. Has done nothing noteworthy for some time and is not about to start now
- IDEAL RANAIS – 8th of 14 to GALLAGHER WIND (6) in a claimer over course and distance on 17 July, his first start since April. Is sure to have progressed and, considering his cv, should be able to challenge for a spot in the picture
- GIBUS DARCHE – Eliminated in a 2475m Villereal claimer last weekend. Is not completely devoid of ability but nonetheless seems to have his work cut out
- HENRY DE TROUVILLE – Enghien-loving type that ran 3rd of 7 finishers, a place behind HEAGLE ONE (11), in a 2875m claimer here last Saturday. Has pulled a tough number but his liking for these conditions should outweigh the inconvenience
Summary: Unlucky at Amiens after having won smartly here in mid-July, GALLAGHER WIND (6) is reunited with Leo Guenet who will be eager to set the record straight. Runner-up that day, HOBAMA (3) gets another crack with Damien Baranger at the helm and the draw will only work to their advantage. 3rd-placed HENRY DE TROUVILLE (15) went on to repeat last weekend and despite a terrible draw, is still capable of playing a major role. IDEAL RANAIS (13) will have come on for his comeback run and can be expected to play an active role this time.

C5 – PRIX DE LA PORTE DE PLAISANCE – 2875m (a2m) – Class D Amateur Riders Race – Mounted – EUR € 54,000 - I AM MAJYC – Sanctioned at Clairefontaine before coming 7th of 8 finishers behind HAZOE DES GLENAN (2) in a 2725m Pornichet Class E on 17 July, and has no realistic chance
- HAZOE DES GLENAN – Ran 2nd at Pornichet before coming 4th of 9 in a 2625m Class F at La Rochelle last Monday. Should take well to Enghien conditions and will be expected to bring the fight to INDICE DELADOU (6)
- IDEFIX DHELPA – Back under the saddle after running 3rd of 10 in a 2725m Pornichet harness Class E 9 days ago. Has demonstrated a bent for the ridden code and will not be far off the mark
- GAROU BEJI – 3rd at Chartres before running 5th of 8 in a 2850m Feurs Class E 3 weeks ago. Is plainly back in shape but would still be preferred a level down
- HILLONA DE NESLE – 3rd of 8 finishers in a 2850m Carentan Class E early last month. Has never delivered at Enghien but is first time barefoot here and is worth keeping an eye on
- INDICE DELADOU – 7th of 18 when prepping for this in a 3400m Brehal harness Class A on 27 July. Has been superb under the saddle this year and can make it 3 on the trot
- IVANA DE BERTRANGE – Has failed to impress since returning to competition, latterly last of 9 in a 2725m Pornichet Class D late last month, and can be passed over
- FAUST DE BEYLEV – Eliminated in a 3125m Granville Class E last Sunday. Has been a write-off for some time and has nothing to contribute
- HANA D’OCCAGNES – Fine servant in both codes, most recently 3rd of 14 in a 2150m harness Class D here 2 weeks ago. Has been pleasing in her new configuration and will be expected to contest the finish
Summary: Simply dynamite in the day’s configuration, INDICE DELADOU (6) races left-handed for the first time in over a year but in current form is still easy to like for the win. He will nevertheless be taking on the reconfigured HAZOE DES GLENAN (2) who seldom disappoints when applied, and the well-engaged HANA D’OCCAGNES (9) who has hardly put a foot wrong this year. IDEFIX DHELPA (3) has progressed nicely in his new vocation and given his liking for Enghien, should not disappoint.

C6 – PRIX DE L’ODEON – 2875m (a2m) – Class B Race – Harness – EUR € 52,000 - MEMPHIS ELLIS – Decent 4th of 7 behind MAESTRO DE L’AUMOY (5) in a 2150m Class C here on 12 July. Consistently gives his best and it will not be long before he loses his maiden label
- MONEY CASH – Placed twice here before finishing 6th of 9 behind MELCHIOR JAMES (3) in a 2625m Class B at La Rochelle late last month. Is better than that though and should not be overlooked
- MELCHIOR JAMES – Yet to get off the mark this year but went painfully close in a 2625m Class B at La Rochelle late last month and Arnaud Desmottes can be confident of another big run
- MAD OF YOU – Returns to racing left-handed after 2 unexceptional clockwise starts, lastly 6th of 13 in a 2800m Bernay Class B a fortnight back, but is by no means out of the picture
- MAESTRO DE L’AUMOY – Came close to making it 2 in a row when 2nd of 7 in a 2150m Class C here on 12 July. Eric Raffin keeps the faith and will be expecting to impose this time
- MAGICO DE LOU – Encouraging 4th of 10 in a 2950m Vichy Class B 3 weeks ago but still has more to find
- MONTANA WOOD – Eliminated in a 2700m Vincennes monte Gr.1 on 22 June. Here for reasons of conditioning and can be ruled out
- MISTER DREAM TY – Made short work of his left-handed debut when lifting a Class C over course and distance 2.5 weeks ago. Is as versatile as they come and looks principal danger to MAESTRO DE L’AUMOY (5)
Summary: Not once out of the frame when focused, MAESTRO DE L’AUMOY (5) got off the mark across town before missing out by little over 2150m here last month and Eric Raffin will be eager to set the record straight. MEMPHIS ELLIS (1) continued his decent run of form when 4th that day, and should again figure prominently, but will first have to see off the wonderfully-engaged MISTER DREAM TY (8) who easily won over course and distance recently, and MELCHIOR JAMES (3) who latterly came close to imposing at La Rochelle.

C7 – PRIX DE MARNES-LA-COQUETTE – 2150m (a1m1/4) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 46,000 - KAID FORTUNA – Reassuring 3rd of 10 in a 2500m Class E at La Rochelle last Monday. Hind shoes off this time but still not a priority
- NECTAR OCCAGNES – Has struggled since coming to France, latterly eliminated in a Class E over course and distance last weekend, and others easier to trust
- THE LION – Takes a dip in category after running 6th of 12 in a Class C under these conditions on 12 July. Caught the eye that day, benefits from a terrific draw, and will be no easy touch
- PURE STEEL – Useful nordic import making first start since faulting over 2140m in Odense on 6 June. Alexandre Abrivard at the helm but cannot be considered a priority on just his first start back
- KID PARKER – Won on re-entry at La Capelle before coming close 2nd of 15 in a 2750m Cabourg Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Seldom far from faulting but with application should be able to wrap this up
- KEEP AND GO – 3rd of 8 when preparing for this over 3000m in Avenches on 25 July. Hind shoes off for Enghien debut and will have a lot to offer at the business end of affairs
- KNOW EVER – Ran 4th over course and distance prior to winning a 2700m Class E at La Capelle on 21 July. Forced to take on better here but still looks a respectable first-5 prospect
- KLEMS DE JAVIE – Made amends for a pair of blips when 2nd of 12 in a Class E over track and trip last Sunday. Will not be available at 56/1 this time but, sporting pads on this occasion, will not be as competitive either
- MAN OF STEEL (GER) – 2nd of 6 finishers in a 2875m Class E here 2.5 weeks ago. Consistently runs on his merits and should play an active role once again
Summary: Capricious he may be but KID PARKER (5) has returned from his long break in cracking form and while he has yet to deliver at Enghien, he is in sufficiently good shape to win this. Emmanuel Allard will still be mindful of the well-positioned THE LION (3) who enjoys a super spot behind the car, and the excellent Swiss KEEP AND GO (6) who races without hind shoes for his French bow. Second here recently, MAN OF STEEL (GER) (9) will be reined by Eric Raffin again and will again be competitive for a first-3 cheque.

- LOLA DAIRPET – Flattering 4th of 8 finishers in a 2250m Class C here 3 weeks ago. Is proven at a superior level but represents no more than a minor place prospect
- LABEL DE LARRE – Last of 8 behind LIBERTE DU GOUTIER (10) on re-entry in a harness Class C over course and distance on 2 July. Competitively shod this time and although unlikely to impose, should nevertheless hold his own
- LOVELY CHENEVIERE – 4th over course and distance on 5 July but failed to confirm when last of 7 in a 2250m Class C here 3 weeks later and, fitted with pads this time, can be passed over
- LE PRIEURE – Serious sort making first appearance since running 4th of 6 in a 2700m Vincennes Gr.3 on 18 February. Is shod to preference for comeback and has a realistic chance of making first 5
- KATCHINA FOR CLARA – Failed to confirm Feurs victory after faulting early in a 2250m Class D here a week ago. Won on her lone appearance with Alexis Collette and must be respected
- LUCIFER D’ORPHEE – 2nd of 5 finishers to LAFOLLY DELO (8) in a Class C over course and distance on 5 July. Fitted with shoes on this occasion but will still be competitive for a place in the frame
- LAFOLLY DELO – Comfortable winner of a Class C over course and distance on 5 July. 5yo’s to contend with this time but still looks competitively well in
- KROME – Back under the saddle after finishing last of 15 on re-entry in a 2800m Bernay harness Class B a fortnight back. Placed in both barefoot monte runs here and should not be ruled out
- LIBERTE DU GOUTIER – Takes on the boys, and 5yo’s, after tenaciously winning a harness Class C over course and distance on 19 July. Has a lot going for her here and in the safe hands of a top jockey will not be easy to oppose
- KINGDOM KAT – Last but one in a 2250m Class C here on 5 July and will need to find considerably more
Summary: A fine servant under harness, and a courageous winner here 3 weeks ago, LIBERTE DU GOUTIER (10) has been entrusted to Alexandre Abrivard for her monte debut, races first time barefoot, and even against her elders looks set to take all the beating. KATCHINA FOR CLARA (6) is never far from faulting but has won 2 of her last 4 starts, returns to racing barefoot, and should put up substantial resistance provided Alexis Collette assures her initial strides. LAFOLLY DELO (8) did everything right here early last month and, freshly reconfigured, is unlikely to be available at 14/1 this time. Runner-up to her that day, LUCIFER D’ORPHEE (7) seldom lets the side down and even though shod is not about to start now.

KOMAN (6) has disqualification issues but is capable of winning a race of this nature. KOUROUX (2) continues to hold his form and can be in the mix once again. KISS ME WINNER (8) is hard to trust but could make the frame if she stays in the trot.
