ALNAYEF – 3.15 Carlisle
ALNAYEF figures off a handy mark and ran his best race for Jim Goldie when second at Hamilton earlier this month. He makes plenty of appeal. Paper Doll and Marbuzet rate the principal dangers.
STAR MARIAN – 3.32 Lingfield
Not as competitive as the numbers suggest and this looks a good opportunity for STAR MARIAN to get off the mark having not enjoyed the rub of the green in a Wolverhampton nursery recently. Loleeta could have more to offer and appeals as the chief threat ahead of Baileys Ontherocks, Lady Lucky Vegas and Perfect Panda.
WAVE RIDER – 7.10 Hamilton
This looks very competitive and the 3-y-os are expected to dominate, with WAVE RIDER the pick of them. He did the job well in a Sandown maiden on penultimate start and wasn’t seen to best effect on slower ground at Yarmouth next time. He remains open to improvement, a remark that also applies to Danger Bay, who opened his account at the third attempt in good style over C&D in June. Immediate Effect looks solid and should also be in the mix, along with other remaining 3-y-o Noble Horizon.
