  4. FIRST LOOK – Winner over 1800m at Clairefontaine in a Listed race on the 2nd of August 2025. Should be in the firing line
Summary: GOLIATH (2) is best forgiven for an under par latest effort and when judged on his previous form, he sets a pretty high standard and should be tough to beat on his best form. FIRST LOOK (4) did plenty right when winning last time out and looks to be the immediate threat to the top one. CALIF (3) has been around the block and has produced some good finishes in strong races so is capable of upsetting here. WOODCHUCK (3) has consistent form figures but will struggle to beat this lot.

Summary: BETTER TOGETHER (1) has ran against a lot stronger at her last two and looks to be absolutely slung in here. She should be too good for this lot and is likely to start deep in the red. TROIA (4) is an improving filly who faces a stiff test but could be the one to pick up the pieces should the fav fluff her lines. She is ideally suited to the trip and will be a threat. MEDUSA MERGER (5) arrives in useful form and this will be her hardest test to date but she is more than capable of acquitting herself well. RELAXX (6) has solid form to her name and should be in contention for the minor spots.

Summary: TERREDEGUERRE (11) produced a far better effort last time out and off her current mark, she could be in the right type of race to run her best race in a while. FIRTH OF FIFTH (3) finally got the job done at start eighteen but with a bit of confidence on her side and in a similar race, she could go well. WIND OF CHANGE (10) and MASTER PAT (7) fit a similar mold in that they both haven’t been far off the action off late and come from the same form line so there shouldn’t be much to choose between them.

  9. MAGIC NIGHT – Never far from faulting but has bags of ability, most recently eliminated in a 2875m Enghien Gr.3 2 weeks ago. Is likely to be at peak fitness though and must be considered a serious proposition
  10. MY PRINCESS – Eliminated when prepping for this in a 2875m Enghien Gr.3 2 weeks ago. Has placed at this level, ran 4th in Prix Ozo, and is unlikely to be far from the action
  11. MAGIC AMERICA – Starts for first time since running 7th of 11 finishers in Gr.2 Prix Ozo over course and distance in late-May. Will have been honed specifically for this and should logically make amends
  12. MORALITY – Followed up Prix Ozo 2nd with 8th of 12 in Prix Albert Viel. Last but one behind MARILOU (5) when preparing for this in a 3000m Class B at Rochefort-sur-Loire 12 days ago and cannot be regarded a priority
  13. MILLE ETOILES – Easily won Gr.2 Prix Ozo before dominating 2700m Gr.1 Prix Albert Viel here on 22 June and is going to take all the beating
Summary: Convincing winner of the Prix Ozo before taking her game to a new level in the Prix Albert Viel in late-June, MILLE ETOILES (13) looks set once again to dominate affairs. MAGIC NIGHT (9) beat her in the Gr.2 Prix Masina, ran 3rd to her in the Albert Viel, and looks the principal danger. MADRID HAUFOR (8) has simply gone from strength to strength and looks a serious place chance this time. Given time to recalibrate following a poor trip in the Prix Ozo, MAGIC AMERICA (11) will be expected to show a different side.

  14. MUST ATOUT – Eliminated in last 3, most recently a 2875m Enghien Class A on 26 July, and others easier to trust
  15. MAESTRO VRIE – Has not put a foot wrong this summer, lastly 3rd of 10 to MARZIPAN (4) in a 2875m Class A across town 3 weeks ago. Takes a big hike in category but with Mathieu Mottier at the helm must be respected
  16. MYSTIC SONATO – Ran 2nd in an Enghien Gr.3 prior to losing his action in 1609m Gr.3 Prix Henri Cravoisier at the same venue just under a month ago. Has ample ability and will be no soft touch if Franck Nivard keeps him focused
  17. MARZIPAN – Won a 2875m Enghien Class A 3 weeks ago. Consistently gives everything he has and while not a priority should nevertheless acquit himself competitively
  18. MAESTRO RIVER – Eliminated in last 2, latterly early in Prix Albert Viel, but has buckets of talent and will not be far off the mark if Eric Raffin ensures his charge’s initial strides
  19. MAGNUM DU CHOQUEL – Flattering 3rd of 4 finishers in a 2875m Enghien Gr.3 2 weeks ago and is not about to shake things up
  20. MAGIC MAN – Won 4 from 5 before running 2nd of 12 in 2700m Gr.1 Prix Albert Viel on 22 June. Trainer in the bike this time however and is unlikely to be given a hard race
  21. MONZON NORMAND – Returns to a distance he adores after being eliminated when full of running in a 2875m Enghien Gr.3 a fortnight ago, and will be no pushover if Yoann Lebourgeois keeps him trotting
  22. MAT MANATHIS – Has won 3 of last 4, latterly an Enghien Gr.3 over a mile with absolute superiority, and is easy to fancy for the win
  23. MAITRE JACQUES – Ran 3rd in Prix Kalmia before finishing a lacklustre 9th of 12 behind MAGIC MAN (7) in 2700m Gr.1 Prix Albert Viel here on 22 June. Should not be too hastily-condemned and must be considered a leading contender
Summary: Determined winner of the Gr.2 Prix Kalmia here in May before romping in an Enghien Gr.3 a month ago, MAT MANATHIS (9) is reunited with Jean-Michel Bazire. Winner of the Gr.1 Prix Comte Pierre de Montesson, MAITRE JACQUES (10) was disappointing in the Gr.1 Prix Albert Viel but should be brought back into the fold. MAESTRO RIVER (5) was quickly eliminated that day but is a quality colt and Eric Raffin will be intent on putting things right. Despite being eliminated, MONZON NORMAND (8) showed his form at Enghien and has never disappointed over 2175m here.

  24. KATCHINA FOR CLARA – Complicated but useful mare that came 2nd of 6 finishers in a 2875m Enghien Class D a week ago but is biting off more than she can chew this time
  25. LAKANA DE FELLIERE – Most impressive winner of a 2250m Enghien Class C 3 weeks ago, on first association with Mathieu Mottier, and is not incapable of contesting the finish once again
  26. KALIMERO JASMA – Twice runner-up before failing to fire, coming 6th of 7 to LAKANA DE FELLIERE (2) in a 2250m Enghien Class C 3 weeks ago. Boasts very good references over 2175m here and is expected to bounce back and finish close
  27. KASBAH PERRINE – 4th to LAKANA DE FELLIERE (2) in 27 July race of reference. Faces a much stiffer test this time and will struggle to make her presence felt
  28. LOTUS ZEN – Produced a fine effort to run 2nd of 7 to LAKANA DE FELLIERE (2) in a 2250m Enghien Class C 3 weeks ago. Goes barefoot with Jean-Yann Ricart in the saddle and is not about to disappoint
  29. KADO SHINING – Got off the mark at Saint-Galmier before finishing last but one in a 2775m Class C at Les Sables-d’Olonne 3 weeks ago, and will need to find more
  30. KEENGAME – Runner-up in Gr.1 Prix de Normandie before losing her action in a 2775m Class C at Les Sables-d’Olonne 3 weeks ago. Tends to go well under these conditions and with application can give this a good go. First 5
  31. LISBONNE DRY – Fresh and sporting 4 pads after running superb 2nd of 17 in 2850m Gr.1 Prix du Président de la République on 22 June. By some margin the most accomplished horse here and will take some beating
  32. LUTIN DES BORDES – Last of 15, on first start since the break, in a 2850m Meslay-du-Maine Class B 2.5 weeks ago. Has form at the highest level, and goes barefoot, but not a priority this time around
Summary: Second in the Gr.1 Prix du Président de la République in June, LISBONNE DRY (8) sports pads for his return to the venue but still looks the pick of the bunch. Paul Ploquin will still be vigilant of determined Enghien winner LAKANA DE FELLIERE (2) who will be piloted by Mathieu Mottier once more, and KALIMERO JASMA (3) who should not be too hastily-judged for that day’s run. Consistently in the thick of things, and 2nd to Mottier’s horse at Enghien, LOTUS ZEN (5) is not one to be overlooked.

  33. LILY DE L’AUNAY – Eliminated early in a 2875m Enghien Class C 9 days ago and appears to have nothing to contribute
  34. LUMINOUS STAR – 7th of 12 finishers on return to competition in a 2750m Craon Class B on 23 June. Would be preferred barefoot
  35. LA VIE A DEUX – 9th of 12 finishers behind LUSH LIFE (9) in a 2875m Enghien Class B 3 weeks ago and will need to show considerably more
  36. LADY – 12th of 14 finishers behind LA VIE A DEUX (3) in a 2875m Enghien Class A mid-June, her first start for 10 months. Hind shoes off for first time but still not an obvious choice
  37. LARA DU GOUTIER – Good 4th in Gr.2 Prix Guy le Gonidec on 7 June before being eliminated in a Gr.3 under these conditions a fortnight later. Unlikely to shake things up but still has the capacity to get a look in
  38. LUMINOSITY – 3rd of 12 in Gr.2 Prix Guy le Gonidec before running 2nd of 14 to LUSH LIFE (9) in a 2875m Enghien Class B 3 weeks ago, and is unlikely to be far off the mark
  39. LAUREATE DRY – 13th of 15 finishers when preparing for this in a 2850m Meslay-du-Maine Class B 2.5 weeks ago. Shoes off this time but still no more than a minor place prospect
  40. LOVE LETTER – Returns to racing barefoot after coming 8th of 11, on first start back, in a 2875m Enghien Gr.3 a fortnight ago. Is no slouch when applied and can challenge for a spot in first 5
  41. LUSH LIFE – Tricky but talented type that made short work of a 2875m Enghien Class B 3 weeks ago. Has form at this level and will be no pushover if David Thomain keeps her mind on the game
  42. LOUVE DE REVE D’OR – Quality filly making first start since running 5th of 11 in a 2700m Gr.3 here last March. Pads fitted this time but still has little to offer
  43. LA STAR ROC – Last of 7 behind LONDON (13) in a 2150m Enghien Gr.3 on 19 July. Has been disappointing for some time and will need to pull her socks up
  44. LILAS CASTELLE – Quickly eliminated in a 2850m Class B at Meslay-du-Maine 2.5 weeks ago. Returns to racing left-handed, over a distance she appreciates, and is eminently capable of making the frame
  45. LONDON – Gr.1-winning filly that ran 3rd of 7 finishers in a 2150m Enghien Gr.3 on 19 July. Is clearly in fine fettle and has every chance of bagging her first objective of the summer
  46. LIZA JOSSELYN – Unluckily sanctioned when going well in Prix Guy le Gonidec before reassuringly winning a Gr.3 over track and trip on 22 June. Comes here fresh and will be expected to give LONDON (13) a run for her money
Summary: Winner of the Prix de Selection earlier in the year, LONDON (13) looks close to her race and returning to the same course and distance will only work to her advantage. Mathieu Mottier will be justifiably wary of the Bazire’s wonderfully talented LIZA JOSSELYN (14) who won her prep race with consummate ease. LUSH LIFE (9) may not be the most dependable of fillies but the nature of her recent Enghien performance will have reassured connections. LILAS CASTELLE (12) beat a host of these in the Gr.2 Prix Guy le Gonidec and is unlikely to disappoint if Benjamin Rochard keeps her focused.

  47. LORD DU GERS – Superior winner of a 2875m Enghien Class A mid-June. Is clearly a progressive colt and even though untried in this class is still a decent first-5 choice
  48. LIVE TO TELL – Ran 3rd in Prix Jules Thibault a fortnight before coming 2nd only to a classy filly in Gr.3 Prix RMC over course and distance on 22 June. Returns fresh and is unlikely to be far off the mark
  49. LORD DU BASSIN – Surprise 4th in Prix Jules Thibault before running 8th of 18 behind LEMON TREE (7) in a 2850m Meslay-du-Maine Class B 2.5 weeks ago. Hind shoes off this time and should not be too far from the action
  50. LAPIS LAZULI – Disappointing since returning from a short break, latterly 10th of 18 behind LEMON TREE (7) in a 2850m Meslay-du-Maine Class B 2.5 weeks ago, and will have nothing to offer
  51. LISSANDRO – Eliminated on return to competition in a 2750m Craon Class B on 23 June. Is still in conditioning-mode and can be ruled out
  52. LANCIER DU GOUTIER – Beat a number of these in Gr.2 Prix Jules Thibault before running 3rd of 11 in a 2875m Enghien Gr.3 2 weeks ago. Has never been beaten with hind shoes off and looks a major player
  53. LEMON TREE – 5th of 18 behind LEMON TREE (7) when being conditioned for this in a 2850m Meslay-du-Maine Class B 2.5 weeks ago. Competitively-shod this time but others still preferred
  54. L’ECRIN D’OR – Facile winner of a 2850m monte Gr.1 here on 22 June. Here for reasons of conditioning and can be ignored
  55. LITTLE BROWN – Starts for first time since finishing last of 9 in a 1640m Solvalla Gr.2 on 25 May. Thrives over 2175m here and should not be written off
  56. LIGHT MY FIRE – 5th of 11 behind LANCIER DU GOUTIER (6) in 2875m Gr.3 Prix de Geneve at Enghien a fortnight back. Has not been as sharp as he was when 2nd in Prix de Selection last March but is not totally out of it either
  57. LEARN TO FLY – 4th of 11, close to LANCIER DU GOUTIER (6), in a 2875m Enghien Gr.3 2 weeks ago. Has placed just once in 5 over 2175m here but in current condition could well challenge for a place on the podium
  58. LOMBOK JIEL – High-class colt that ran 6th of 11 on re-entry behind LANCIER DU GOUTIER (6) in 2875m Gr.3 Prix de Geneve at Enghien a fortnight back. Competitively-shod this time and seems the main danger to LOVINO BELLO (13)
  59. LOVINO BELLO – Denied a run in the 2150m Gr.2 Prix de Milan at Enghien on 19 July, coming 5th of 11 behind LANCIER DU GOUTIER (6). Is clearly at the top of his game though and can win this if kept out of harm’s way
Summary: Very unlucky in an Enghien Gr.3 little under a month ago, dual-Gr.1 winner LOVINO BELLO (13) should be good enough to wrap this up provided Eric Raffin keeps him out of trouble. Reconfigured for the occasion, LANCIER DU GOUTIER (6) beat him in the Gr.2 Prix Jules Thibault and again at Enghien, and should again figure prominently, but may first have to see off the classy LOMBOK JIEL (12) who will be competitively-shod for his first goal of the summer. A Gr.2 winner earlier in the year, LEARN TO FLY (11) has been acquitting himself effectively and is unlikely to let the side down.

  60. KORALIA DE CROUAY – In the frame in last 2, latterly 2nd of 11 in a 2150m Enghien Class D 3 weeks ago, but at this level has no realistic chance
  61. KIPHYLE DESBOIS – Takes a massive step up in category after running 2nd of 8 in a 2950m Vichy Class C a fortnight ago and races here on a prayer
  62. KNOCKONWOOD – Eliminated in a 2150m Enghien Class B 9 days ago. Has looked very ordinary this term and will struggle to make his presence felt
  63. KOBAYASHI – Put 3 sanctions behind him to miss out by the smallest of margins to KHAL’S FELLA (6) in a 2750m Cabourg Class A a fortnight ago. Failed to deliver on lone start under these conditions but in current form is easy to like. First 5
  64. KEEN WINNER – Has twice failed to confirm her Prix Jean le Gonidec 2nd place, most recently 8th of 11 finishers in a 2875m Enghien Gr.3 on 5 July, and can expect to have few friends
  65. KHAL’S FELLA – Took little time getting back in the game, latterly holding on to win a 2750m Cabourg Class A a fortnight ago. Is not about to repeat but can nevertheless figure prominently
  66. KYRIELLE – 3rd of 18 in a 2800m Bernay Class B 3 weeks ago. Is plainly capable on a good day but reliability is not her friend
  67. KANTO AVIS – Has looked a different horse in 2025, latterly winning Gr.2 Prix Jean le Gonidec over track and trip in early-June. Sports shoes this time though and best to hold off
  68. KOKOTE – 12th of 15 behind KHAL’S FELLA (6), on re-entry, in a 2750m Cabourg Class A a fortnight ago. Goes barefoot this time but still needs to re-establish her credentials
  69. KEEP GOING – Excellent 4th of 8 in 2100m Gr.1 Prix Rene Balliere, despite early stride woes, on 22 June. Takes on his contemporaries this time and has a realistic chance of getting his nose in front
  70. KRACK TIME ATOUT – Sports a new formula after running 6th of 13 to KOCTEL DU DAIN (13) in 2875m Gr.2 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardère at Enghien 3 weeks ago, and will be expected to play a leading role
  71. KANA DE BEYLEV – Endured a problematic trip when 5th of 10 finishers to KANTO AVIS (8) in Gr.2 Prix Jean le Gonidec over course and distance in early-June. Has had time to get her morale back and must not be underestimated
  72. KOCTEL DU DAIN – Stormed up in Gr.2 Prix Albert Demarcq before confirming on re-entry in a 2875m Enghien Gr.2 on 26 July. Is the standard-bearer of his generation and David Thoamin will be eager to prove the point
Summary: An absolute steamroller when at the top of his game, KOCTEL DU DAIN (13) was all class in the Gr.2 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardère late last month and is in with a realistic shout of completing the 3-timer. That said, David Thomain will be justifiably mindful of KEEP GOING (10) whose Prix Rene Balliere performance was better than the result would suggest, and a freshly-reconfigured KRACK TIME ATOUT (11) who has had the benefit of three conditioners. Very unlucky last time out, KANA DE BEYLEV (12) has not raced for over 2 months but is an excellent campaigner and Eric Raffin will be keen to set the record straight.

  74. I LOVE IGNY – Goes barefoot for first time in 3 years after coming 3rd of 14 in a 2750m Class F at La Capelle late last month, and even going barefoot is still not a priority
  75. IPIPOURAX PAULOIS – Never far from losing his action but is plainly in excellent condition, most recently dominating a 2875m Meslay-du-Maine Class F on 29 July. Has imposed just once over 2700m here but in current form is easy to recommend
  76. IVOIRE DAIRPET – Made up for Brehal clinker when 3rd of 13 in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class E 10 days ago. Eric Raffin in the bike and can again figure prominently. Place chance
  77. IDOLE D’OURVILLE – Sports a new configuration after running 5th of 16 in a 3450m Agon Class E on 8 August but others still preferred
  78. INFIEL – Eliminated in last 2, latterly when going well in a 2150m Mauquenchy Class E on 24 July. Has won twice at the venue but others still easier to like
  79. IMAGE D’ATALANTE – 8th of 11 in a 1800m Class E at La Capelle on 11 July. Has references at this level but stays shod and not an obvious choice
  80. IRINO DE GUERON – Finished nicely to run 4th of 11 in a 2850m Laval Class D on 26 June. Has solid references in both codes here and will be competitive for a step on the podium
  81. HATE YOU BEYLEV – Eliminated early in a 2250m Enghien monte Class C 2 weeks ago. Shoes fitted and poses no threat
  82. IGGY POP DE CHENU – Back under harness after running 2nd of 9 in a 2875m Meslay-du-Maine monte Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Is clearly in form but a priority he is not
  83. IDREAMIS – Tenacious winner of a 2700m Class E at La Capelle on 25 July. Seldom disappoints when applied and, confirmed under these conditions, looks a respectable first-5 chance
  84. IF YOU CAN – Failed to confirm Le Touquet effort when last of 12 in a 2700m Vittel Class E a fortnight back and can be passed over
  85. HUDSON BAIE – Barring a Lisieux sanction, has been as solid as a rock lately. 2nd of 9 in a 3000m Neuillé-Pont-Pierre Class F a fortnight back and, given the entry, is easy to like for a minor place cheque
  86. IRIS FARCEUSE – Has not been seen out since running 2nd of 11 in a Class D over course and distance 2 months ago. Vincent Viel could not have wished for a better entry and Adrien Lamy will be keen to oblige
Summary: Unbeaten in 2 since being entrusted to Benjamin Rochard, INCISIF VAUCEEN (1) goes barefoot this time and the hat-trick is well within his grasp. Main opposition hails from IPIPOURAX PAULOIS (3) who got back in the winners’ enclosure at Meslay-du-Maine 2.5 weeks ago, and the rejuvenated IVOIRE DAIRPET (4) who put in a fine finish at Mauquenchy last time out. IRINO DE GUERON (8) seldom puts a foot out of line, boasts solid Vincennes credentials, and looks a player once more.

  88. MOJITO DE BANVILLE – Ran 4th on monte bow a month ago before being eliminated in a 2750m Cabourg harness Class D 8 days later. Has a lot of untapped potential and, with stride in check, can play a part
  89. MAURICIO DU DERBY – Has done nothing but improve lately, lastly 2nd of 7 in a Class D over course and distance on 24 June, but is being aimed too high this time
  90. MUST DE CHANLECY – Quality element making monte debut after running 2nd of 7 finishers in a 2750m Cabourg harness Class E early this month and with Eric Raffin in the irons will be expected to contest the finish
  91. MITCH DE GRANOU – Last of 9 on comeback in a 2875m Enghien harness Class C last Sunday. In the frame in 2 of 3 in this branch of the business though and with application can pick up a cheque
  92. MIDNIGHT DE CUY – Back under the saddle after finishing last but one in a 2750m Cabourg harness Class D 3 weeks ago and is not about to create an upset
  93. MYTIC RENARDIER – Eliminated as often as not but reassured in a 2875m Enghien Class D 9 days ago when 2nd of 7 finishers and should be considered a decent first-5 chance
  94. MUST D’HERMES – Was not disgraced when 5th of 9 finishers, a place behind MOJITO DE BANVILLE (2), in a 2250m Enghien Class C on 17 July. Unlikely to shake things up but can still hold his own
  95. MACK DAIRPET – Unraced since coming close 2nd of 14 in a 2175m Class D here mid-May. Is confirmed over the inner course and can play a prominent role on comeback
  96. MAORI NUEVO – Met no opposition en route to victory in a 2250m Enghien Class E 3 weeks ago and the double looks a distinct possibility
  97. MAJOR MESLOIS – Switches code for first time after running 2nd of 8 in a 2950m Saint-Malo harness Class D 10 days ago and if form transitions, can figure prominently
Summary: Winner at Enghien recently, at the first time of asking in this branch of the business, MAORI NUEVO (10) makes his Vincennes debut with every chance of confirming. MUST DE CHANLECY (4) has no left-handed references but he is clearly close to his race and receives an Eric Raffin ride for his ridden bow. Also new to the discipline, and good 2nd under harness recently, MAJOR MESLOIS (11) must be considered a player, as should the returning MACK DAIRPET (9) who has demonstrated decent aptitude for the code.

  1. JERICHO – In very good form and a winner in Class E at this track over 2150m on 4 August. Better over shorter distances, but has leading claims
  2. INSERT DES MONTS – Struggling to find best form and was 8th in Class C at Marseille-Borély over 2300m on 10 June. Has major disqualification issues, and others make more appeal
  3. HELICE DU TREZON – Holding form and finished third in Class E at this track over 2150m on 4 August. Should contest the finish again
  4. IBIS DE CHAHAINS – Disqualified in his last three starts, the latest at this track over 2150m on 4 August. Others are much preferred
  5. HERBU DU FERRON – Probably needed both runs this year and was 6th in Class F over this track and trip on 4 August. Fitter now and capable of improvement
  6. GRAAL DE BUSSET – Unreliable and finished 7th in Class E over this track and trip on 28 July. Might play only a minor role at very best
  7. JOY DU CARNOIS – In very good form and finished third in Class F at Château-du-Loir over 3750m on 27 July. Has won five races this year and can score again
  8. JUDOPOCK – Likes this track and finished third in Class E at this course over 2925m on 11 August. Capable of making the frame
Summary: JOY DU CARNOIS (7) has been at her best this year. She was stretched by the longer distance at Château-du-Loir last month. This distance suits her, and she travels a long way to compete in this race. JERICHO (1) prefers a shorter distance but is still competitive in this line-up. 11. HOLY ROMAN EMPEROR – Has struggled all year and was 7th in Class F at Cagnes-sur-Mer over 2150m on 21 July. Others make more appeal
