R1 VINCENNES [L-H]
C1 – PRIX D’HIESVILLE – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Mounted – EUR € 40,000
- LELIA FRANCE – Showed significant monte promise earlier in the year, but failed to convince here 12 days ago, and can be ruled out
- LUXUEUSE DANICA – 4th to LYRIC (4) 2.5 weeks ago prior to coming 2nd in a similar event just a week later. Cannot be considered a leading contender but can still vie for a place on the podium
- LIBERTY DELO – Has a pair of runs under her belt since returning to competition, latterly 6th behind LUXUEUSE DANICA (2) in a Class D over track and trip 12 days ago. Will be fully fit by now and should logically finish closer
- LYRIC – Made short work of a Class E over track and trip 2.5 weeks ago after having imposed at Caen a month earlier, and once again looks set to take all the beating
- LOLA DAIRPET – 7th of 12 on re-entry in an Argentan Class F in early-November. Hind shoes off this time but still has a lot more to find
- LACINIA – Quality filly that returned to successful ways in a 2250m Enghien Class D on 16 October. Has been held back for this and on good behaviour can confirm
- LUNA PARK – Unremarkable filly that has never shown any particular flair for the discipline and, considering her form, is not about to start now
- LIBERTY PIYA – Gritty winner of a 2875m Enghien Class D in early-October. Was out of her league next time but, with application, should be in the running for a place cheque
- LISA MONA BLUE – Unthreatening 4th of 15 in a 2175m Class D here early last month and is unlikely to influence the result
- LOVE ME AGAIN – Switches back to the ridden code after having imposed under harness over course and distance early last month. Is already a monte winner and with Eric Raffin aboard is unlikely to be far off the mark
- LOUVE ANGEL – Goes barefoot after having prepped shod for this over the short course 2 weeks ago. Has never delivered when barefoot here but is still worth retaining
Summary: Undefeated in 2 starts since beginning to race barefoot, LYRIC (4) steps up in category after routing the opposition here last month and is in with a good shout of confirming. That being said, the talented but capricious LACINIA (6) romped at Enghien in mid-October and could well repeat if Paul Ploquin manages to keep her trotting. LIBERTY PIYA (8) got off the monte mark at the first time of asking and returns to a more realistic level after being trounced in a Gr.2 here a month ago. LUXUEUSE DANICA (2) has taken well to the Vincennes main track and will not be sent out at 23-1 this time.

C2 – PRIX DE DAMMARIE-LES-LYS – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 40,000 - MISTER FOURCADE – Pleasant 5th of 7 when being conditioned in a Chartres Class E on 3 November, but still has a lot more to find
- MELI MELO DE CHENU – Serious sort that won over the inner course before losing his action in a Nantes Class A 3 weeks ago, and will have a lot to contribute if he takes to the new conditions
- MILLIUM QUESNOT – Pleasantly surprising 2nd of 12 in a 2825m Class A at Le Croise-Laroche a month back, however a repeat seems most improbable
- MERMOZ – Put in a good showing to come 2nd in a Nantes Class A 3 weeks ago but debuts over the main track and others easier to back
- MORE LOVE DUCAMPUS – Moves back down the category-ladder after 2 unplaced efforts here recently. Benefits from an excellent spot behind the car and, with his mind on the game, can win a race of this nature
- MAKIAVEL DE BUSSET – Takes to Vincennes for the first time after placing twice at Le Croisé-Laroche. Steps up in category but still has the wherewithal to finish thereabouts
- MOURILLON – Very much in need of a run when 7th of 15 in a 2700m Class D conditioner on 13 November. Starts in front and can make a big splash if fully fit
- MAGIC INSTINCT – Showed significant form earlier in the year but out of the picture in both return runs and needs to get his house in order
- MAGICAL – Very hard to fault when focused as he showed when beaten by 2 good elements here early last month. Appears to be in his category and despite a wide draw still looks good enough to challenge for the win
- MYTHE DU GOUTIER – Showed improvement when 3rd of 10 in a 2850m Class D over the inner course 12 days ago. Plainly has a lot of progress in him and is unlikely to be going home empty-handed
- MISTHOS CHRISTAL – Colt with bags of ability, but also a temperament. Will appreciate a mobile start however and should not be far off the mark if Benjamin Rochard positions him early
- MALMO DE PUCH – Lost his maiden status in Toulouse before running 2nd in a Class E over the inner course 2.5 weeks ago. Finds himself in superior company this time and chances appear limited
Summary: INDICE DELADOU (4) may not be the most reliable of colts but he has demonstrated significant promise and has every chance of winning this provided Alexandre Abrivard gets him off on the right foot. MAGICAL (9) made up for his course-and-distance elimination when 3rd in better company over 2175m here a month back. A tough nut to crack when applied, MELI MELO DE CHENU (2) steps up in category with a legitimate claim. Winner of all 3 starts earlier in the year, MOURILLON (7) has a race under his belt since the autumn break and is not incapable of getting down to business this time.

C3 – PRIX DE BUSSIERES – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 46,000 - KLASS HAUFOR – Yet to get fully into her stride this term, most recently 9th behind KRAKANTE (9) in a 2700m Class C here on 4 November. Has been afforded time to come on, has never disappointed under these conditions, and can pick up some prizemoney
- KENNEDY STREET – Won an Enghien Class D in October before running close 2nd in an Argentan Class A on 2 November. Raffin stays with KOTKITA GIRL (10) but Mathieu Mottier gets the nod and will be legitimately expecting to finish close
- KUNAMATATA – Surprisingly eliminated in a 2700m Class C here late last month. Is normally dynamic in the day’s configuration and Paul Ploquin will be out to make amends
- KETAMINE D’UZE – Did not miss a beat on first start following the spell, dominating a 2875m Enghien Class D on 26 October. Comes here fresh and from the 4-spot can wrap this up
- KARA D’OR – Useful mare that came in a surprising 6th of 13 in a 2850m Gr.3 here last weekend. Handed a good number and backs up with a decent chance of finishing closer this time
- KALINKA DU GRENAT – Imposed under these conditions during the summer but has been off the boil since and is unlikely to spice things up
- KIRA BO FACE – Won over course and distance in September but eliminated in last 2 starts and is unlikely to cause an upset
- KETTY ANGOT – Showed marked improvement at Caen on 19 October when 2nd of 18 in a 2200m Class D, however a repeat seems most improbable
- KRAKANTE – Quality element but below-par in last 2. Faces a somewhat less-exalted lot this time, ran 2nd at Angers on sole association with Alexandre Abrivard, and has a decent chance of getting back in the game
- KOTKITA GIRL – Like a horse reborn since being reunited with Eric Raffin, winning 2 on the trot, one over 2100m here. Handed a tough draw and steps up in category but still looks a serious proposition
- KACEY BELL – Previously a good sort but has been disappointing in both codes lately and can be passed over
- KAZA ROCK – Complicated but capable mare returning to Paris after almost 2 months off. Is barefoot for the occasion but nevertheless faces a stiff test
- KILLARNEY – Has looked decidedly ordinary since winning a 2150m Enghien Class D in August and even though reconfigured still seems an outsider
- KARLA DE BANVILLE – Ran a good race, despite some late traffic issues, to come 3rd in a 2700m Class D here 2.5 weeks ago, her first objective of the winter. The draw-fairy has not been kind to her but form is sure and can finish closer
- KINASSE DE VIVOIN – Encouraged at Châtelaillon but failed to confirm when trounced here early last month and has no realistic chance
- KELLE CLASS – Looked to be coming good in late-summer but subsequently lost her way and under these conditions has no possible chance
Summary: Unbeaten in 3 starts in her current configuration, KETAMINE D’UZE (4) may never have produced the goods at Vincennes but both the draw and the nature of her latest Enghien victory augur well for her prospects of confirming. Winner under these conditions earlier in the year, KARLA DE BANVILLE (14) did not enjoy the best of runs here last month but is clearly in form and will be no pushover if Jean-Etienne Abrivard successfully negotiates the start. Better-placed in front, KENNEDY STREET (2) has turned a corner lately and Eric Raffin will be ably replaced by Mathieu Mottier. Winner of 3 from 4 with Raffin, KOTKITA GIRL (10) is still in the running for a first hat-trick.

C4 – PRIX OCTAVE DOUESNEL – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Gr2 – Harness – EUR € 120,000 - FERAHAN AS – Has not been seen out since winning an Enghien Class C in July and is here for reasons of conditioning
- FELLOW WISE AS – Got off the mark for new stable late last month when comfortably winning a 2100m Class A here. faces a more serious challenge this time and is unlikely to create an upset
- FIL EK – Handy sort at home in Italy but has never produced the goods at Vincennes and is unlikely to start now
- LORD DU GERS – Classy colt going barefoot for just the 2nd time in his career. Has been kept on the boil since the Critérium des 4 Ans and with application can secure his first race of the winter
- L’AS DESBOIS – Makes just 2nd appearance at Gr.2 level, having clinched a Gr.3 under these conditions a fortnight ago, but still seems to have too much to do
- PHANTOM EXPRESS – Tough nordic raider starting for first time in 3 months. Stays shod for Vincennes bow and best to hold off
- LEARN TO FLY – Surprise Prix Marcel Laurent 4th prior to confirming behind L’AS DESBOIS in a Gr.3 over track and trip 2 weeks ago. Is not about to win this but can still finish in the thick of things
- FAR WISE AS – Dual Gr.1 winner in Sweden making first French appearance after failing to deliver in valuable Breeders’ Crown semi-final early last month. Has no references beyond 2140m but will be barefoot and reined by Alexandre Abrivard. Attention
- LOULOU DE MYE – Faces first target of the meeting after a pair of conditioners in the provinces. Has not been at his sharpest this year and can be passed over
- FALCO KILLER GAR – Ran 2nd in a Gr.2 at La Capelle in early-September but was eliminated when going full-steam in Gr.2 Prix Marcel Laurent on 6 November. Returns to previous formula and is not to be underestimated
- LOMBOK JIEL – Fine campaigner that seldom disappoints. Prepped successfully in Mons, will be shod to preference, and looks competitively well in
- FIRST OF MIND – Serious Italian colt that ran 3rd in last year’s Gr.1 Prix Ready Cash. Unplaced in Solvalla but has won at the highest level and if fully-fit can put in a good showing
- FRANK GIO – High-calibre colt starting for first time since running 5th in Gr.1 UET Grand Prix on 11 October. Faces first objective of the winter and is remarkable over 2700m here. Chance
- LOVINO BELLO – Prix Ready Cash winner on this day last year. Unraced since running 7th behind FAR WISE AS in Gr.1 UET Grand Prix on 11 October, but has had time to get his house in order and will be no easy touch
Summary: Eliminated early in the Critérium des 4 Ans in September, LORD DU GERS (4) nevertheless showed his worth that day and, barefoot for the first time since, can make a big splash. Jean-Michel Bazire will be justifiably wary of Criterium runner-up LOVINO BELLO (14) who will be out to make up for his UET Grand Prix disappointment, and reconfigured classy Italian colt FRANK GIO (13) who boasts impeccable credentials under these conditions. Out of the picture in Solvalla, but placed at Gr.1 level at Vincennes, FIRST OF MIND (12) will be expected to redeem himself. LOMBOK JIEL (11) ran 3rd in the Criterium, has nothing to prove in this class, and even though preferred barefoot, can still finish close.

C5 – PRIX JEAN FRERE (PRIX DE LAON) – 2850m (a2m) – – Harness – EUR € 41,000 - JIKAO – Dependable sort with a race under his belt following 7 months off. Is barefoot for the occasion but would be preferred at a lower level
- JOHNNY DU PONT – 3 times a winner from 5 starts since his comeback from an extended layoff. Has won 2 of 3 when barefoot and could well impose on his first foray to Vincennes
- JOKER DE LA CRIERE – Has been showing his form in the provinces, latterly 3rd in a Vire Class E, but on this occasion may just be taking on too much
- JET SPE – Won an amateurs Class G at Amiens on 13 November before coming 5th in a Class F at the same venue 10 days ago, but is out of his depth here
- JIOTTO – Won a Toulouse Class F 3 weeks ago. Has hardly put a foot wrong since late-summer but still faces a stiff test
- JAGUAR D’HERMES – Takes a big leap in category after running 4th of 10 finishers in an amateurs Class F over the inner course 10 days ago, and confirmation seems most unlikely
- JANGO BLEU – Runner-up in Strasbourg before confirming in a Laval Class F 3 weeks ago. Is clearly enjoying a fine run of form but is biting off more than he can chew this time
- JALNY DE CASTELLE – Is back doing what he does best following a long absence. Races first-time barefoot for Vincennes bow and, given the stable’s form, must be taken seriously
- JUST A DOLLAR – Imposed at Mons in late-September before coming 2nd to a good horse in a 2700m Class F at Le Croise-Laroche a month ago. Takes on a better bunch here but should nevertheless hold his own
- JERIMOW – Left a good impression when 4th of 14 in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class E in mid-November. Benefits from a super entry and will be competitively-shod for the occasion. First 5 possible
- JACKSON BOY – Won over 2700m here before coming 2nd to a good horse over 2100m 2.5 weeks ago. Boasts good references under these conditions and with application can go close
- JAG HAUFOR – In the frame in last 2 starts, most recently 3rd in a 2700m Class D here a fortnight ago. In less-exalted company this time and even though incurring the penalty, still looks the one to beat
- JENTIL DIESCHOOT – Serious trotter with a pair of conditioners under his belt since the lengthy break. Has only this year begun to show a liking for Vincennes and has already delivered for his driver
- JACKMAN – Drops back down the category-ladder after a pair of lacklustre efforts in better company. Enjoys a good entry and should prove competitive at the business end of the race
Summary: A fine servant that goes over any trip, JAG HAUFOR (12) has really come into himself this year, and showed us here last month that he is close to his race. Clearly behind in earnings following a 2-years’ hiatus, JOHNNY DU PONT (2) is back at the top of his game and looks the principal danger. JACKSON BOY (11) starts on the second row but he has been going good-guns for the past month and will be reunited with Eric Raffin. JACKMAN (14) returns to a more reasonable level, has previously won under these conditions, and has an ideal opportunity to get back in the game.

C6 – PRIX NARQUOIS – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Gr3 – Harness – EUR € 80,000 - ECTOR ZL – Encouraging 5th of 15 in an Enghien Class E in late-October and in this company has no realistic chance
- CALL ME GLEIPNER – Has done nothing but improve lately, most recently running 2nd over 2640m in Jagersro 2 weeks ago. Is barefoot for Vincennes debut but perhaps best to monitor on this occasion
- KEEP YOUR DREAMS – Decent trotter making first appearance since late-September. Presents solid references over 2700m here but can expect to be a race shy
- KNOCKONWOOD – Has made no impact at any level for past 15 months and can be confidently disregarded
- CAVIAR FROM MINE – Won first 2 following the summer break before being denied a run when competitive in a 2100m Class A here late last month, and Benjamin Rochard will be mindful to keep his charge out of harm’s way
- KOOL DES CHAMPS – Honest sort that ran 5th of 6 to KAPTAIN DU LIAMONE (9) in a Mauquenchy Class A on 19 November and is unlikely to shake things up
- KELLE BEAUTE – Has done nothing noteworthy since placing at Cabourg in August and can be passed over
- KAVIARISSIME – Raced better in a 2100m Gr.3 here 3 weeks ago than his 6th place would imply. Showed significant potential that day and, given the chance, can finish closer
- KAPTAIN DU LIAMONE – Has won 3 of last 4 starts, most recently a Mauquenchy Class A with ease. In better company this time but is reunited with Eric Raffin who has previously won with him, and will be afforded every chance
- EDGAR SABA – Has been in cracking form for some months and can be considered very unlucky for not winning a 2100m Gr.3 here on 16 October. With application though can more than make amends
- CHARRON – Quality nordic type making first appearance since coming last but one in Gr.1 UET Elite Circuit Final in Solvalla 2 months ago. Franck Nivard reins though and will be one to watch
- JAZZMAN (GER) – Put on quite the show when 5th of 11 in a competitive 2100m Gr.2 here early last month. Defied a bad draw that day, is nicely-engaged here, and will be expected to contest the finish
- KILLIAM FROMENTRO – Did not enjoy the best of trips when 6th in a Gr.3 over course and distance a fortnight ago. Enjoys a good entry here though and will not have the 4yo generation to contend with. Chance
Summary: EDGAR SABA (10) could well have secured the Gr.3 Prix de Boissy-Saint-Léger here 3 weeks ago had he not lost his action with 200m to go, and Gabriele Gelormini will be determined to set the record straight. The Italian can still expect to meet resistance from JAZZMAN (GER) (12) who ran 5th to Liza Josselyn in the Gr.2 Prix Marcel Laurent a month ago, and KILLIAM FROMENTRO (13) who is considerably better than his Gr.3 Prix de Chenonceaux result would suggest. CAVIAR FROM MINE (5) will also appreciate the absence of younger horses and with some luck in running can figure more prominently than he did here recently.

C7 – PRIX ARISTE HEMARD – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Gr2 – Harness – EUR € 120,000 - LOTTA LOVE – Steps notably up in category after a modest effort in a Class C here on 20 November and will have few takers
- LOUVE DE DAIDOU – Takes her first foray into this class after some respectable performances over course and distance. Cannot be considered a priority but nevertheless deserves to take her chances
- LAUREATE DRY – Starts for the first time since producing a pair of eliminations last August. Sports pads for comeback and can be passed over
- LARA DU GOUTIER – Runner-up to LIZA JOSSELYN (10) here during the summer. Has a race in her since the break and in this small field can pick up a cheque
- LIBERTE DE CHOISEL – Classy filly with a pair of conditioners in her since the layoff. Boasts an excellent record under these conditions and looks the main threat to LIZA JOSSELYN (10)
- LOUVE DE REVE D’OR – Struggled during the autumn but ran good 2nd in a Laval Class B conditioner early last month. Has had ample time to return to her peak and can play a prominent part if Benjamin Rochard keeps her mind on the game
- LOVE LETTER – Returns to racing barefoot as she was when close 3rd to LIZA JOSSELYN (10) in a Gr.2 here during the summer. Will be primed to get her winter meeting off to a good start and cannot be ruled out of a place on the podium
- LISBONNE DRY – High-class filly in the other discipline. Here for a change of scenery and can be ignored
- LONDON – Not the easiest of horses to handle but already counts a Gr.1 to her name. Barefoot for her first assignment of the winter meeting and could pleasantly surprise
- LIZA JOSSELYN – Wonderfully talented filly that made up for her Critérium des 4 Ans clinker when running out a commanding winner of the prestigious Prix Marcel Laurent here a month ago, and will be expected to repeat
Summary: LIZA JOSSELYN (10) has, unsurprisingly, scared off a host of good fillies, in part thanks to how well she won the Gr.2 Prix Marcel Laurent early last month. Current standard-bearer of her generation, it would be a huge surprise to see her bested. Leading the opposition, LIBERTE DE CHOISEL (5) will be barefoot as she was when dominating the Gr.2 Prix Guy le Gonidec during the summer, as will LOUVE DE REVE D’OR (6) who prepped well at Laval early last month. LOVE LETTER (7) is back under harness after trying her hand again under the saddle and will be relieved of all 4 shoes this time.

C8 – PRIX D’HAUTEFORT – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 59,000 - GASOLIN – Gave a good account on comeback, coming 5th of 13 in a 2850m Laval Class A on 1 November. Has had time to get back in shape, will have progressed for the race, and takes a dip in category with a good hand to play
- IRON DU GERS – Has done everything asked of him this term, achieving both goals in good order. Is decently-positioned on front line and even in the absence of JMB can still complete the hat-trick
- GALANT DE BRUYERE – Finished last of 13 in a Laval Class A on seasonal re-entry early last month. Is still in conditioning-mode and can be passed over
- INFERNO PIPER – Ran 3rd at Mons 11 days ago on first start since the summer. Stays shod and can be ruled out
- GLAMOUR YOMA – Completed the hat-trick at Vichy during the summer but has been very disappointing since, and must re-establish his credentials
- HOTEL MYSTIC – Gave a reassuringly good account when 3rd of 13 in a Class C at Agen-Le Passage 2.5 weeks ago. Is nicely-positioned on front line and appreciates these conditions. First 5
- CARLOFORTE FONT – Good, consistent sort with a pair of runs in him following a spell. Is clearly in fine condition and is well-placed to play a prominent role
- DOWHATYOUDODOWELL – Starts for the first time since June. Is preferred in the other code these days and even racing barefoot will have too much to do
- DOZEN OF OYSTERS – Won 4 on the trot at home in Finland before running fine 4th of 15 in a 2850m Class C here on 20 October. Will have come on for the run and at this level can bring the fight to IRON DU GERS (2)
- L.A.BOKO – Has been reconfigured after being eliminated in a 2850m Class C here late last month. Handed a tough draw and is unlikely to spring any surprises
- BAYARD (GER) – Stayed on well to secure a Class D over course and distance 3 weeks ago. In better company this time but in present shape is easy to like for a possible repeat
- GAYLORD AM – Useful sort with form in similar company. Has just the one race under his belt since the layoff though and at this level looks a minor place chance at best
- IT’S MY DREAM – Completely out of the picture in both codes for some time. Breaks on 2nd line and has no possible chance
- MISTER DONALD – Unexceptional trotter making just 2nd start of the winter. Will be barefoot this time but will have nothing to offer
- HORIZON D’EYMY – Serious element with nothing to prove under these conditions. Left a good impression on re-entry when 4th in a Class C at Le Croisé-Laroche 12 days ago and, in spite of a tough draw, can still get in on the action
- NICE PRESENT – Returns to France after a pair of decent efforts at home in Belgium but seems to be out of his depth here
Summary: A fine servant when barefoot, IRON DU GERS (2) set his personal best time over course and distance in late-October before doubling up over 2700m just 12 days ago, and looks thoroughly capable of making it 3 on the trot. Finnish-trained import DOZEN OF OYSTERS (9) gave a fine account on his French bow here last month, drops in category, and even considering the wide draw, still looks a serious threat. CARLOFORTE FONT (7) enjoys a terrific entry, will be barefoot for his return to a track he appreciates, and should figure prominently. BAYARD (GER) (11) imposed over track and trip in mid-November and steps up in category with a good hand to play.

C9 – PRIX DE CASTILLONNES – 2175m (a1m1/4) – Class C – Mounted – EUR € 68,000 - ICARE WILLIAMS – Fine trotter with decent references under the saddle but is being aimed too high this time
- HADDOCK DU CLOS – Has gone from strength to strength since returning to the discipline. Excels over 2175m here and is easy to fancy for the win
- HERMES EXPRESS – Not always the most reliable but won his only start over 2175m here. Is barefoot for return to competition and, if sufficiently fit, should not be far off the mark
- INDICE DELADOU – Made it 3 in a row when securing a 2700m Class C here a month back. Is confirmed over 2175m and takes on stronger opposition with a decent chance of finishing close
- GLADIATOR BOY – Capable element but has not been seen out since July and even though barefoot still looks an outsider
- HISTOIRE PHILS – Courageous winner at Nantes before running 4th under harness in a Lyon-Parilly Class D 3 weeks ago and, with form maintained, can again figure prominently
- HERMES ANGEL – In the frame in 2 before prepping for this under harness at Agen-Le Passage 2.5 weeks ago. Races barefoot, is seldom far from the action, and Guillaume Lenain will be keen to prove the point
- IVANOF – Returns to the code after a brace of conditioners under harness. Barefoot for first goal of the meeting but others still preferred
- HARDI CROWN – Encouraged in 7 November race of reference before racing respectably under harness here on 20 November. Is unlikely to spring any surprises but can nevertheless get a look in
- IMPERIAL COGLAIS – Fine servant with nothing to prove under these conditions. Returns fresh to Paris and will be expected to give HADDOCK DU CLOS (2) a run for his money
- IGO CLEA – Oddly below-par 7th to INDICE DELADOU (4) in a 2700m Class C here a month ago. Is plainly better than that, will be ridden by Antonin Andre this time, and must not be overlooked
- FOREVER JIEL – 4th to INDICE DELADOU (4) here in September before repeating in the race of reference, although in this company will struggle to make his mark
- FLASH DU BIWETZ – Ran 2nd in an Enghien Class C on 6 September before flopping in the race of reference a month later, and is unlikely to generate much interest
Summary: Particularly competent over 2175m here, HADDOCK DU CLOS (2) prepared for this in the other code and Mathieu Mottier can be forgiven for being bullish. He will still want to be wary of the fine IMPERIAL COGLAIS (10) who has been given ample time to recalibrate following his Caen defeat, and HISTOIRE PHILS (6) who opened her monte account just a month ago. A revelation in 2025, INDICE DELADOU (4) steps up in category in search of a 4-timer but may have to settle for a place cheque this time around.

C1 – PRIX DES BENEVOLES – 3800m (a2m1/2) – TURF – Handicap – Hurdles – EUR € 26,000
- LE RAFAL – Recent success over 3900m at Landivisiau on June 1st in a Class 4 chase. Back over hurdles, and others make more appeal
- ROME ANTIQUE – Fair 5th last time over 3600m at Auteuil in a Class 2 hurdle on November 15th. Capable of making his presence felt
- MARACAMAYA – Unplaced last time, 2nd previously over 3500m in a Class 4 hurdle on February 24th. She should be fitter for her run in late November and can feature
- LOULOU BERE – 7th last time, a win before that over 3800m in a Class 3 chase at Castera-Verduza on November 2nd. Unlikely to trouble the principles
- RAFFLES HONOUR – Placed 2nd over 3800m in a handicap hurdle at this track on November 16th when last seen. Hard to overlook
- MARVEL DELABLAIRIE – Three unplaced runs of late, the latter over 3700m in a Class 2 chase at Craon on September 8th. This will be challenging for him
- DOUCE AMIE – Placed 3rd on her last run over 3500m in a Class 3 hurdle at Nantes on November 24th. Faces a stiff task
- LA LUNE ROUSSE – Placed on three of her four runs, the latter when 3rd at this track over 3800m in a handicap hurdle. Ought to be in the shake-up
- LOVE DE LA NOVERIE – Three unplaced runs of late, the latter over 3550m at Fontainebleau on November 19th in a Class 3 hurdle. Has work to do
Summary: ROME ANTIQUE (2) shaped well in a Class 2 hurdle at Auteuil last time and looks capable of getting off the mark on his handicap debut. MARACAMAYA (3) should strip fitter after a recent run in late-November, although she failed to complete the course. Her second in February, before the last start was an encouraging effort, and she can be involved. RAFFLES HONOUR (5) is hard to rule out of the top three. LA LUNE ROUSSE (8) heads the rest.

- ZENATA – Poor performance in 11th over 1500m at Chantilly in a divided handicap on the 21st of November 2025. Will struggle to land a blow
Summary: FREEZE THE MOMENT (1) is an improving colt who took a nice step forward last time out to get close to victory and will have more to offer in this company. MAXIMILIEN (2) has found one too good at his last two efforts and could certainly go one better in this line up. Course experience could help his claims. ZARWALYAH (5) gets the services of an apprentice and steps up in trip which could unlock some improvement and is one worth including. CHARMING CAT (3) has consistent form to his name and should be in the shake up once again.

Summary: HUNTER’S LUCK (3) ran a super race for this rider last time out and he will have every chance of going one better. He finds himself 6kgs better off at the weights with the reopposing, WINDFLOWER (1) who is in sensational form having won three on the trot and could certainly make it four wins in a row despite a healthy weight turn-around. NOUS Y SOMMES (2) and ORION CLASS (4) both finished behind the top two choices last time out and that form will likely remain the same unless for some blip from one of them.
