R1 VINCENNES [L-H]

C1 – PRIX DE DURTAL LES RAIRIES – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 59,000

  1. CERTAINLY (SWE) – Placed here in late-December but could manage only 6th in a Class D over course and distance next time. Can play a small part but is not about to cause an upset
  2. JALIMEDE – Faces a stiffer test than he did when 2nd in an amateurs Class E here 2.5 weeks ago and will struggle to make his presence felt
  3. NEO TURBO – Serious trotter making first appearance since 16 November. Imposed under these conditions last autumn and from the 3-spot will have his chances
  4. DYLAN DOG FONT – Oddly below-par behind GODFATHER (DEN) (14) in a Class B here after having encouraged behind JACOMO BELLO (7) the previous month. Benefits from a good draw and is unlikely to be far off the mark
  5. HELIOS DES CHAMPS – Has been on a fruitful run of form since the autumn but is being aimed too high this time and others preferred
  6. HIATUS – Sprang a 117-1 surprise when landing a claimer over course and distance 2 weeks ago. Starts in front but still seems to be biting off more than he can chew
  7. JACOMO BELLO – Good, consistent sort that has hardly put a foot wrong this term. Is confirmed at a superior level and must be taken seriously
  8. JOKER GEMA – Won nicely at Meslay-du-Maine before prepping well in Toulouse on 9 January. Will be barefoot this time and should not be underestimated
  9. GLOBAL CONCEPT – Generous Swedish raider with excellent French references. Made short work of a Bordeaux Class C 10 days ago and Mathieu Mottier is unlikely to let this opportunity pass him by
  10. DAYAK (ITY) – Has placed just once in 5 starts under these conditions. Rather lacklustre in last 2 but cannot be entirely discounted
  11. KAXIG IN – Was enjoying a decent run of form until being dominated in a 2850m Class F here early last week. In better company this time and looks a minor place chance at best
  12. PORTOFINO (SWE) – Pleased here on 5 January before losing his action at Mauquenchy a week later. Is in superior company this time and from the back row is unlikely to upset the status quo
  13. DIE HARD (ITY) – Can prove a handful but has bags of ability. Was found wanting behind KAXIG IN (11) last month and will need to find considerably more
  14. GODFATHER (DEN) – Won smartly in Solvalla before giving an excellent account over 2850m on Vincennes debut 2 weeks ago. Alexandre Abrivard in the bike again and will be competitive for the win
  15. WALDGEIST – Excellent servant in Germany and has nothing to prove over the distance, but is shod for Vincennes bow and best to hold off
  16. GOODWIN ZET – Takes a notable hike in category after running unthreatening 3rd in a 2850m Class D here 9 days ago, and looks to be out of his depth this time
Summary: Conditioned here before romping in Bordeaux, GLOBAL CONCEPT (9) is unbeaten in 3 starts at Enghien and, despite a wide draw, looks set to stamp his mark on Vincennes. GODFATHER (DEN) (14) may have lucked out with regard to the draw but he held his own here 2 weeks ago and is a tough nut when barefoot. JACOMO BELLO (7) presents fine course-and-distance credentials and from the front row will be competitive for a place cheque. JOKER GEMA (8) has been acquitting himself well since the autumn and returns to racing barefoot. NEO TURBO (3) has not been seen out since mid-November but is clearly in competition-mode and it will not be long before he gets his head back in front.
    SELECTIONS
    GLOBAL CONCEPT (9) – GODFATHER (DEN) (14) – JACOMO BELLO (7) – JOKER GEMA (8)
    C2 – PRIX DE FONTENAY-EN-PARISIS – 2175m (a1m1/4) – Class E – Mounted – EUR € 35,000
  17. MARCO DU VERGER – Untried gelding that qualified in 1’19″2 under the saddle at Caen a fortnight ago, and is not about to spring any surprises
  18. MILORD DE CALI – Distant 4th of 5 in a Mauquenchy Class E, on monte debut, 10 days ago. Is barefoot this time but still appears to be out of his depth
  19. MARANELLO – Last of 5 in a 2200m Class E here late last week. Is as mediocre under the saddle as he is under harness and can be confidently left alone
  20. MID DANCER – Complicated sort that could well have imposed here late last week had he not faulted 200m out, but seldom finishes a race unscathed and others easier to trust
  21. MY WAY DE QUELETTE – Gives the ridden code a go after comfortably getting off the mark under harness at Cagnes on 25 January, and does not make the long trip for no reason. Chance
  22. MOKA VRIE – Lost his maiden status at Cordemais in late-November but has been eliminated in all 4 starts since. If Guillaume Martin can keep him trotting though, he will not be returning home empty-handed
  23. MOGADOR – Eliminated early on monte debut at Mauquenchy 10 days ago. Has been reconfigured but still not a priority
  24. MICHIGAN – Marginally below-par 5th in a Class E over 2200m here on 12 December. Has been afforded ample time to get back in shape and looks a more serious proposition on this occasion
  25. MILES DAVIS WIND – Improving sort making first appearance since losing his action here on 25 November. Has otherwise demonstrated very good aptitude, and the new configuration can make all the difference. Claim
  26. M’AVEZ VOUS VU – Has taken well to new discipline even though flattered here last time out. Is unlikely to lose his maiden tag but can get in on the action all the same
Summary: Solid in his first 3 starts, MILES DAVIS WIND (9) was unlucky to lose his action here in late-November. He has had time to recalibrate, is competitively-shod for the first time, and with application, can open his Vincennes account. MY WAY DE QUELETTE (5) switches code for the first time after getting off the mark under harness late last month, and Damien Bonne can be quietly confident. MICHIGAN (8) has taken well to the ridden discipline and, with shoes off for the first time, will be no shrinking violet. MOKA VRIE (6) is never far from elimination but it is only a question of time before he comes good.
    SELECTIONS
    MILES DAVIS WIND (9) – MY WAY DE QUELETTE (5) – MICHIGAN (8) – MOKA VRIE (6)
    C3 – PRIX DE MAROLLES – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class R Claiming Amateur Riders – Harness – EUR € 18,000
  27. JACKPOT DES BORDES – Competitive for the most part in the claiming category and most recently beat a number of these over the main course. Is not about to win this but has a decent chance of picking up a cheque
  28. IOUP LA BOUM – Modest trotter making 2nd start back following a lengthy layoff and is not about to spring any surprises
  29. IL MAGNIFICO – Got back in the game in superior company here in late-December. Won his only start in this class and is well able to keep that fact relevant
  30. IMOW ROLAU – Opened his winter account at Cordemais but subsequently blew up in a 2700m claimer here. Should not be too hastily-judged though and will have his supporters
  31. JEAN MADRIK – Seldom lets the side down at this level of competition, latterly running 3rd over course and distance early last month. Has a lot going for him here and is not incapable of winning this
  32. JUBY DE BAILLY – Has been disappointing for the most part over recent months and, even with shoes off, still looks a firm outsider
  33. IT’S EAGLE COGLAIS – Has done nothing noteworthy this winter and latest claiming performance did nothing to inspire confidence
  34. IL MIO – Switches category after having been disqualified in an amateur contest here 12 days ago, but is a bit too flighty to trust
  35. IDEE SHANNON – 4th, a place behind JACKPOT DES BORDES (1), in a 2700m claimer here 2.5 weeks ago. Has pulled a tough number but in current condition is easy to recommend for a place cheque
  36. JADESKA – Respectable in both claiming starts, both over course and distance. Is back to racing barefoot but faces a tougher challenge this time
  37. KADOR JOSSELYN – Has been struggling to deliver at a superior level and despite a tricky draw still looks competitive for a place in the frame
  38. KING DE LA COTE – Dead-heated for 6th, a place behind JACKPOT DES BORDES (1), in a 2100m claimer over the main track last week. A repeat, however, seems unlikely
  39. JOG DE JAVIE – Unlucky, and surprise, 6th, a place behind JACKPOT DES BORDES (1), in a 2100m claimer over the main track last week. Sports a new configuration but still not an obvious choice
  40. KOPECK DE CHENU – Ran 3rd on claiming debut before being eliminated in next 2. Is plainly in shape though and can get in on the action if Gauthier Baudouin both defies the draw and keeps him focused
  41. JULY DU GUESNE – Returns to racing barefoot after being conditioned here early last week. Has been handed a shocking draw however and is not about to create an upset
Summary: Winner of a claimer in the autumn, and most recently close 2nd in a competitive Class E over the main track, IL MAGNIFICO (3) benefits from a terrific draw and can make this his own. Also well-placed on the front line, JEAN MADRIK (5) is something of a specialist at this level and will be no easy touch. KADOR JOSSELYN (11) encouraged here last weekend and should find this opposition more to his liking. IDEE SHANNON (9) has yet to disappoint in the claiming division and despite a poor draw still looks competitive.
    SELECTIONS
    IL MAGNIFICO (3) – JEAN MADRIK (5) – KADOR JOSSELYN (11) – IDEE SHANNON (9)
    C4 – PRIX DU POITOU – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class C – Mounted – EUR € 38,000
  42. NATURE DU CHENE – Qualified in 1’20″8 under harness at Caen last June. Sports front pads for career debut and, while not a priority, is still worth keeping an eye on
  43. NOBLESSE ACE – Qualified in 1’20″0 under harness at Grosbois in early-November. The in-form Antonin Andre in the saddle but others still easier to back
  44. NOVA JENILOU – Untried filly that was always destined for a career under the saddle and if as good as expected can run away with this
  45. NIKITA VICI – Qualified modestly under the saddle and was eliminated on debut here 2.5 weeks ago, and over the main track will have her work cut out
  46. NEXT DANCE KALOUMA – Switches code after having shown little aptitude for the harness discipline and is unlikely to set off any fireworks
  47. NESSICA PLANCHETTE – Finished distant last of 4 on ridden debut 2.5 weeks ago in a 2200m Class D, and appears to have no possible chance
  48. NOGHERA COUNTESS – Has shown respectable aptitude for the harness code but faces a tough challenge on monte bow and others preferred
  49. NIGHT FOR YOU – Would have finished closer in a 2100m harness Class C here early last month had she stayed in stride. Is plainly a good future prospect and, with application, can contest the finish first time under the saddle
  50. NA BELLE KATIE – Beat a serious filly when losing her maiden status in a 2875m Argentan Class F on 17 January, and will be no easy touch if she takes to the main-track profile
  51. NAGINATA – Failed to confirm excellent December debut when eliminated 2.5 weeks ago in a 2200m Class D here, but on better behaviour can make amends. Attention
  52. NATURALLY STAR – Useful filly but eliminated in last 2 here. Trainer in the saddle for ridden debut and it would be no surprise to see her figure prominently
Summary: Although having qualified under harness in December, the nicely-related NOVA JENILOU (3) makes her career debut with Mathieu Mottier in the saddle and can get straight down to business. It won’t be all plain sailing though if Thomas Levesque’s promising NIGHT FOR YOU (8) keeps her action together. NA BELLE KATIE (9) returns to the capital after getting off the mark at Argentan and must be taken seriously. Sporting hind pads for the first time, NAGINATA (10) is still rather green but she has shown promise and, if applied, should not disappoint.
    SELECTIONS
    NOVA JENILOU (3) – NIGHT FOR YOU (8) – NA BELLE KATIE (9) – NAGINATA (10)
    C5 – PRIX DE VILLEREAL – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 40,000
  53. LINO GUILLERVILLE – Left quite the impression when victorious in a 2150m Cagnes Class E on 8 January. Trainer could not have wished for a better entry and Benjamin Rochard will be keen to capitalise
  54. LORD DES GRANGES – Reliability not his strong suit but ran excellent 2nd in a 2700m Class E here 3 weeks ago. Starts in front and, in similar shape, should not be far off the mark
  55. LOU PANTAIL – Lightly-raced sort with an enviable strike-rate. Won unopposed under these conditions on 29 December and will be well-backed to repeat
  56. LUCKY MESLOIS – Is considerably better than recent figures would imply. Trainer back in the bike and will be no pushover if he can keep his charge trotting
  57. LATINO PURA VIDA – Unremarkable individual that ran a respectable 5th in similar event in December but has twice failed to confirm and can be ruled out
  58. LAST DES BROUSSES – Moderate type making just 2nd start back. Remains shod for the occasion and others preferred
  59. LUCIDE CASTELETS – Blows hot and cold but gave a reassuringly good account at Agen last month. Hind shoes off this time, is well-engaged, and with Alexandre Abrivard reining is unlikely to disappoint
  60. LIGHTNING JIEL – Goes barefoot after being conditioned in a 2850m Class D here on 18 January, but in this company will have too much to do
  61. LUX DE LA MESLIERE – Has been showing a little too much spirit recently but talent is not in question. Mathieu Mottier in the bike this time, and faces a tough draw, but can get a look in provided his charge stays in stride
  62. LIVE YOUR DREAMS – Sent for a rest after being pulled-up here on 18 November. Stays shod for comeback and best to keep one’s powder dry
  63. LEO PERRINE – Has been very hard to fault this winter, finishing 2nd in 3 of last 4 starts. Is not ideally drawn but in current condition can again compete for a place in the frame
  64. LEVEL ONE SYGA – Never far from losing his action but otherwise hard to fault. Races barefoot for re-entry but the draw will do him no favours
  65. LATINOS DU NOYER – Handy sort but stays shod for first start in almost 2 months, and can be ignored
  66. LUCKY PORT – Showed improvement when 3rd, a place behind LORD DES GRANGES (2), in a 2700m Class E here 3 weeks ago. Victorious on his sole start with 4 pads fitted, Gabriele Gelormini can be confident of another productive run
  67. LUCKY CASTELETS – Pleasant 4th behind LORD DES GRANGES (2) in a 2700m Class E here 3 weeks ago, but faces a much stiffer test this time around
  68. LITTLE DRAGON – Starts for the first time since 20 November. Had been showing more under the saddle and can be passed over
Summary: Easy winner of his first objective of the winter, LOU PANTAIL (3) enjoys a good entry here, is nicely-placed behind the car, and is in with a realistic shout of confirming. LEO PERRINE (11) ran 2nd to him that day before repeating at Nantes, and should again figure prominently, but may first have to see off LINO GUILLERVILLE (1) who romped on the Riviera early last month, and the well-positioned LUCKY MESLOIS (4) who was not the most fortunate here in January.
    SELECTIONS
    LOU PANTAIL (3) – LINO GUILLERVILLE (1) – LUCKY MESLOIS (4) – LEO PERRINE (11)
    C6 – PRIX DE GRANDVILLIERS – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 35,000
  69. MA LILI GEMA – Capable late-developer starting for first time since late-October and is going to need the run
  70. MINYA KONKA – Gave a fine account on comeback at Angers late last month despite being eliminated. Is more competitively-shod this time and can make a big splash if she keeps her mind on the game
  71. MILONGA DU CHENE – Ran 2nd in Cabourg before repeating in an Angers Class E in mid-January. Has no left-handed references but in current form is hard to ignore
  72. MAELYS DES BORDES – Considerably better than recent Lyon result would suggest. In this company though is unlikely to spice things up
  73. MAJESTE DAB – Not easy to handle but has buckets of ability. Takes to the main track for just the 2nd time but, with application, can bring home the spoils
  74. MAUNY DE PLAY – Has merit but eliminated in both starts this winter. Is confirmed under these conditions but others still easier to trust
  75. MOLLY DU CAUX – Yet to get off the mark but has been going close recently. Pleasant 3rd, a place behind MAGIC MAGGIE (8), in a 2175m Class E here a fortnight ago and, while unlikely to win this, can nevertheless finish in the mix
  76. MAGIC MAGGIE – Sprang something of a surprise when 2nd in a 2175m Class E here 2 weeks ago. Sports a similar configuration and has a reasonable chance of making first 5
  77. MAMZELLE DREAM – Ran 3rd at Le Mans then came 2nd in a Mauquenchy Class E 10 days ago. Is barefoot for the first time at Vincennes and will be expected to finish close
  78. MEDUSA DU PONT – Eliminated in 3 straight before coming flattering 3rd in a Class E over track and trip on 17 January, and is unlikely to generate much interest
  79. MIRELLA DE LOU – Got back in the game in a Bordeaux Class E early last month and would be preferred racing clockwise
  80. MISS LADY D’ALESA – Has placed just once so far this winter but is competitively-shod for the first time and just 20 Euros from elimination. Attention
Summary: Clearly going well here last month when eliminated, MAJESTE DAB (5) gets a second crack at racing barefoot and could well win this if Damien Bonne keeps her focused. MINYA KONKA (2) has no main-track references but she sports a fresh configuration and will be reunited with Alexandre Abrivard for the occasion. Runner-up in her last 2, MILONGA DU CHENE (3) goes left-handed for the first time, which may just prove key to her success. MAMZELLE DREAM (9) has yet to make her mark at Vincennes but she has been knocking at the door and can again make the frame.
    SELECTIONS
    MAJESTE DAB (5) – MINYA KONKA (2) – MILONGA DU CHENE (3) – MAMZELLE DREAM (9)
    C7 – PRIX DE RETHEL – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Mounted – EUR € 46,000
  81. JAMES MADRIK – Flopped on sole monte start. Failed to make any impact in 3 straight harness claimers here last month and can be confidently written off
  82. JANTARA DESBOIS – Returns to the code after prepping for this under harness in Toulouse late last week. Goes barefoot this time, simply excels with Mathieu Mottier, and is unlikely to be far from the action
  83. JASMINE DE NEUVY – Not quite as sharp lately as she was during the autumn. Was not disgraced after being eliminated here 3 weeks ago though and, with application, can pick up some scraps
  84. JAVA DU CHERISAY – Can trot, has references under these conditions, and races barefoot, but appears to be taking on too much this time
  85. JUST BIRD – Back at the top of his game since being reconfigured in December. Has won twice over course and distance and looks principal threat to JAMAICA PHEDO (10)
  86. JACK L’EVENTREUR – Respectable 4th in a Class D over course and distance in mid-January, on first start under the saddle. A repeat, however, seems improbable
  87. JAMES OF CARLY – Won at Cabourg on 2 January and left a good impression at Angers last week despite losing all chance at the start. Is unlikely to spice things up but can nevertheless hold his own
  88. JAZZMAN IDEF – Serious trotter with superb monte credentials. Is new to Vincennes but will be barefoot for the occasion and must be considered a contender
  89. JADE DU PARC – Has been acquitting herself honourably over recent months, most recently 2nd in a Nantes Class E late last month. Beat a host of males that day and looks competitive once more. Place prospect
  90. JAMAICA PHEDO – Gr.2-placed mare returning to the code after having reassured here in December. Top jockey in the saddle and is easy to like for the win
  91. JAMAICA BROWN – Takes first competitive monte steps after a conditioning run in the amateur division late last week. Goes well when barefoot and will not be far off the mark if she stays trotting
Summary: Still competitive when eliminated under harness here in mid-December, JAMAICA PHEDO (10) returns reconfigured to a code she appreciates, with Alexandre Abrivard in the irons, and with application should have this in the bag. He will still be mindful of the reinvigorated JUST BIRD (5) whose last start over 2700m was rewarded with success, and JAZZMAN IDEF (8) who excels under the saddle. Beaten only by a very good horse at Nantes recently, JADE DU PARC (9) returns to the capital with a good hand to play.
    SELECTIONS

    C8 – PRIX DES CHARENTES – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class C – Harness – EUR € 46,000
  92. LAREDO BAY – Faithful servant that ran 2nd in a 2700m Class C here on 10 December. Has not raced since but tends to go well for Mathieu Mottier and should be retained
  93. LERIKA DU CHENE – Should not be too hastily-condemned for blowing up here a month ago. Form is not in question and with Alexandre Abrivard back in the bike can wrap this up
  94. LILY DE L’AUNAY – Tricky character that got back in the game here on 24 January. Imposed last time over track and trip, and from the 3-spot will be no pushover
  95. LELIA FRANCE – Serious filly in the other discipline. Here for reasons of conditioning and can be passed over
  96. LEDA MESLOISE – Showed considerable promise at 3 but failed to come good in 2025. Shoes off this time but others still easier to back
  97. LA DIVA SUPREME – Versatile mare that was eliminated when going well in a 2700m Class B here on 17 January. Is quite plainly close to winning another and Benjamin Rochard will be determined to set the record straight
  98. L’ENVIE D’HERFRAIE – Starts for first time, and drops in category, since running 4th in a Gr.3 here in late-November, and if fully-fit is unlikely too let the side down
  99. LAMIE DU MESNIL – Took little time getting back in the game following a lengthy break, winning a Class D over course and distance by a hair on 13 January. Starts wide this time but must still be considered a contender
  100. LIBERTA MESLOISE – Enjoyed a productive summer before coming off the boil and the draw only complicates matters
  101. LEA D’ATOUT – Pulled off a 22-1 surprise when victorious in a 2175m Class D here on 13 December. Races shod this time and will have other ambitions
  102. LOLA DU CAMPUS – Returns to racing barefoot following a brace of eliminations here. On back line this time and is unlikely to shake things up
  103. LIBERTY PAT – Useful mare that held her own behind LAREDO BAY (1) in a 2700m Class C here on 10 December. Sports a fresh configuration and, although not a priority, is still worth keeping an eye on
  104. L’ETOILE – Has a pair of runs under her belt since the spell but has so far failed to convince and can expect to have few friends
  105. LILIE D’OMAHA – Has twice failed to confirm December course-and-distance victory but nevertheless encouraged 12 days ago over longer. Has pulled a rough number but still cannot be ruled out
Summary: Reunited with Alexandre Abrivard who won with her over course and distance during the autumn, LERIKA DU CHENE (2) is both well-engaged and well-placed, and appears to have an excellent chance of getting back in the winners’ circle. She will still be pitted against the in-form LA DIVA SUPREME (6) who has a particular liking for these conditions, and LAMIE DU MESNIL (8) who clinched victory here 3.5 weeks ago. LILY DE L’AUNAY (3) won under these conditions last season, recently caused quite the upset here, and must be taken more seriously.

C1 – PRIX DU CARREFOUR DES CHARMES – 1900m (a1m1/4) – ALL WEATHER – Claiming – Flat – EUR € 22,100

  1. I AM STILL STANDING – Shaped well to win a maiden at Lyon La Soie over 1800m on January 21st. Ought to be involved in the shake-up
  2. PADDINGTON – In form, with two wins of late in claiming races, the most recent over 1900m at Deauville on January 16th. Track and trip winner in December. Key chance
  3. MUST BE CRACKERS – Got off the mark over 2150m in a claiming race at Lyon La Soie on January 21st. Lightly raced and has more to come
  4. SISKA – Decent 2nd over 1900m at Deauville in a claimer on her second start on December 17th. She can keep on improving and be hard to beat
  5. ASPRILA – Placed 2nd over 1500m in a claimer at Deauville on January 23rd on her second start. Can keep progressing and warrants respect
  6. LIEBEROSE – Five unplaced efforts recently, 9th over 1500m in a claimer at Deauville on December 29th. Unlikely to be involved
  7. CAPOUCHINE – Placed 3rd last time out over 2100m at Pornichet in a claiming race on January 27th. Faces a stiff task
Summary: SISKA (4) has leading claims of getting off the mark on her third start. She finished a solid second over this distance at Deauville in mid-December when last seen on the PSF and can go one place better today. PADDINGTON (2) looks to be the main threat after narrowly winning over 1900m at Deauville on January 16th in a claiming event. I AM STILL STANDING (1) scored in a maiden at Lyon-La-Soie in late January and cannot be ignored, while MUST BE CRACKERS (3) heads the remainder.

  8. VADIROUMA – Two placed efforts so far, the latter when 2nd over 1500m in a maiden race at Deauville on December 2nd. Hard to ignore
  9. LANDED – Two unplaced runs so far, the latter over the track and trip on January 10th in a maiden race. Has work to do to feature
  10. RUN VICTORIA – Showed promise when 6th over 1500m at Saint-Cloud in a conditions race on July 9th. Can improve and be ready for her return to action
  11. DO FOR LOVE – Finished 5th last time over 1400m at Deauville in a maiden race on August 9th. Among the leading each- way options
  12. AUSTRALIAN ROMANCE – Finished 5th over 1900m at this track on January 21st on her latest start. She drops back in distance and others make more appeal
  13. MYSTERY DAY – Nice effort when 2nd over 1600m in a maiden race at this track on January 10th. Ought to be thereabouts
  14. TEVERE – Placed 3rd over 1600m at this racecourse in a maiden on January 10th last time out. Unlikely to be a threat
  15. HALSEY – Unraced filly by Victor Ludorum, the dam never raced. Likely to need this run unless the betting market says otherwise
  16. CYMOPHANE – Unraced filly by No Nay Never, the dam won 1 race. She can be expected to improve for this run and is best watched for now
Summary: VADIROUMA (1) has shown plenty of talent in both of her starts to date. She finished a solid second in a maiden at Deauville in early December when last seen and can edge this over RUN VICTORIA (3), who has not been seen since a pleasing debut over 1500m at Saint-Cloud in July but should be fit to go. MYSTERY DAY (6) ran well when finishing second at this track just over three weeks ago and can also be involved, while DO FOR LOVE (4) completes the shortlist.

  17. KIARO – Two nice wins of late, both at Deauville in claiming events , the latter over 1500m on January 16th. Can get a hat-trick
  18. SHINNING OCEAN – Unplaced last time, a win before that over 1600m at this track in a Class 2 handicap on March 27th. Capable if fit from a layoff
  19. ABELARD F – Finished 5th over 1900m in a claiming race at Deauville on January 8th, course winner in a Class 2 handicap in November, and is hard to rule out

FEARLESS CHEETAH (2) can give the selection the most to do. She won on her penultimate start at Deauville on December 23rd.
