R1 VINCENNES [L-H]

C1 – PRIX DE BLANQUEFORT – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 59,000

  1. GRANDE PRETRESSE – 8th of 10 in a Class C over track and trip a fortnight ago. Is significantly better than recent numbers would suggest and from the front line can make first 3
  2. HARMONY DU RABUTIN – Drops marginally in category after coming 5th of 14 in a 2700m Class C here on 25 November. Has never failed to deliver in the day’s configuration and is not about to start. Claim
  3. GREAT TIGRESS – Gave a fine account to run 3rd of 16, at 130/1, in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class D last week. Clearly in competition-mode and, with form maintained, can trot her way onto the podium
  4. ECUME DE FURETAIS – 10th of 16 behind GREAT TIGRESS (3) in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class D last week. Has done little of note for some time and must first re-establish her credentials
  5. FELICITA D’ECOUVES – Last of 16 behind GREAT TIGRESS (3) in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class D conditioner last week. Barefoot this time and although not a leading contender, enjoys a good draw and can finish in the mix
  6. FILAE DE SOYORA – Imposed at Paray-le-Monial and then followed up with 2nd of 10 in a 2200m Salon-de-Provence Class D 2.5 weeks ago. Is pitted against a better lot this time but is sufficiently well-placed to pick up some crumbs
  7. GAULTHERIA – Drops in category after running 6th of 13 in a 2700m Class C at Le Croise-Laroche on 25 November. Seldom lets the side down under these conditions and looks a solid first-5 prospect
  8. HIGH PROPULSION – Untaxed when 11th of 14, on return from a spell, behind HARMONY DU RABUTIN (2) in a 2700m Class C here on 25 November. Reunited with partner of choice and despite the draw still looks a player
  9. HERMINE GIRL – Encouraged at Graignes before finishing 9th of 13 behind GAULTHERIA (7) in a 2700m Class C at Le Croise-Laroche on 25 November and appears to have nothing to offer
  10. MAGGIORE (SWE) – Unraced since winning over 2350m at Avenches on 11 September. Is confirmed in France but has no love for Vincennes
  11. HAIDA SAUTONNE – Game mare that came 4th of 10 in a 2850m Class D here last week. Ran 3rd over course and distance mid-November and even with pads fitted must not be overlooked
  12. GRAZIELA D’EL – 6th of 10 in a 2700m monte Class D mid-November. Disappointing on the whole since last winter and can be ruled out
  13. HARIA DU BELLAY – Back under harness after finishing 9th of 12 in a 2700m monté Class D here a fortnight ago. Won under these conditions 12 months back and, in spite of a 2nd-line draw, must be afforded respect
  14. GO GO GIGI – Pleasantly-surprising 4th of 14 in a 2150m Mauquenchy Class D a month ago. Clearly in shape but would be preferred in the other code
  15. GO TO AMERICA – Has 2 races under her belt since the break, latterly 10th of 14 behind HARMONY DU RABUTIN in a 2700m Class C here on 25 November, but has little going for her here
Summary: Highly-consistent and recently impressive in good company against the boys, HARMONY DU RABUTIN (2) faces a significantly easier task this time and the race is hers for the taking. Opposition will be led by the tricky but tough GRANDE PRETRESSE (1) who takes a notable dip in category, and the better-positioned GREAT TIGRESS (3) who is barefoot following a good performance in the provinces last week. HIGH PROPULSION (8) is forced to start wide but simply excels with Eric Raffin and should logically play an active role.

    C2 – PRIX DE VALDAMPIERRE – 2200m (a1m1/2) – Class D Race – Mounted – EUR € 33,000
  16. MALICIA STORY – Qualified in an unexceptional 1’20”9 at Meslay in August. Takes on some good contemporaries and best to wait
  17. MAYBEL DE BLARY – Qualified in 1’21”3 at Caen early-October and will need to show a completely different side
  18. MINNEAPOLIS – Qualified in 1’17”9 at Caen on 22 October. Makes career debut under the saddle and the engagement of Benjamin Rochard can make all the difference. Claim
  19. MONALYSA DU ROEN – Racecourse debutante that qualified in 1’20”4 at Caen last May. Has had time to come into herself but still looks out of her depth
  20. MOON DES CHARRONS – Made it 2 straight harness sanctions when quickly faulting in a 2175m Class D here a fortnight ago, and again appears to have little to contribute
  21. MAYA DES GENETS – 6th of 7 finishers in a 2675m harness Class F 3.5 weeks ago. New to the discipline and others preferred
  22. MARIGNANA JEEP – Takes to the monte code after debuting 6th of 9 in a 2250m Auch Class E a month back and is not about to spring a surprise
  23. MISS DES BESACES – 6th of 10, on monte debut, in a 2425m Angers Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Will have come on for the run and is unlikely to go home empty-handed
  24. MARBOXIE D’HERIPRE – Takes first competitive ridden steps after having run 6th of 11 in a 2050m Laval Class F mid-November. William Bigeon stable going good-guns and is not to be underestimated
  25. MORGANE DE TOI – Last of 9 in a 2800m Chartres harness Class F a fortnight ago. Gets the chance to redeem herself and will have her chances if she takes to the new conditions
  26. MADONE DU TRIEUX – Sanctioned in 3 of 4 under harness, most recently a 2175m Class D here 2 weeks ago. Will appreciate the change of scenery and, if applied, can get a look-in
  27. MALIDA – Switches code after finishing 6th of 9 in a 2400m Chateaubriant Class E 10 days ago. Clearly has ability and should not be far from the action if she adapts to the new surface
  28. MANAMA D’ORLY – Encouraged at Amiens before running last of 11 in a 2850m harness Class D here mid-November. Should be more suited to the monte code and has a reasonable chance of opening her account
  29. MODE DU VALLON – Debuts under the saddle after comfortably winning a 2200m Strasbourg Class F on 3 November. Alexis Collette keeps faith and can play an active role
Summary: Some interesting fillies lining up here and while MINNEAPOLIS (3) may be untried, she qualified in excellent fashion and if as good in competition, can get straight down to business. Capable when focused, MANAMA D’ORLY (13) should not be condemned for her recent sanction and with Paul Ploquin in the saddle, will be afforded very chance. MORGANE DE TOI (10) has shown a lot of potential and has been entrusted to Jean-Yann Ricart for the occasion. Mathieu Mottier gets the nod for MARBOXIE D’HERIPRE (9) who switches code with legitimate ambition.

    C3 – PRIX DE MERAL – 2200m (a1m1/2) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 35,000
  30. LILYROSE WIND – Made up for Enghien clinker when easy winner of a 2150m Ma@quenchy
Class G 2.5 weeks ago. Is new to Vincennes but should take well to the inner-track profile and can double up
  31. LESLIE DE VANDEL – 7th of 10 behind LUCIANA HAUFOR (3) in a 2175m Class E here late last month. Is clearly capable and it is just a matter of time before she gets back in the game
  32. LUCCIANA HAUFOR – Got off the mark at Chartres before running 5th of 10 in a 2175m Class E here on 29 November. Has ample talent and can bring the fight to LILYROSE WIND (1)
  33. L’ETOILE D’ETE – Won 2 in a row then faulted in a 2700m Class E here 3 weeks ago. Left a very good impression though and, with application, can contest the finish
  34. LAMTARA BUISSONAY – Encouraging 5th of 14 behind LOZEN DE BANVILLE (12), in a 2100m claimer on main track 2 weeks ago, but still has no possible chance
  35. LEXOVIENNE – Lost her action in 29 November race of reference and appears to have shown her limits in this category
  36. LOVELY JENILOU – Back under harness after finishing 5th of 9 in a 2700m monte Class E here on
25 November. Sports 4 pads this time but cannot be considered a concern
  37. LIPINSKA – Produced a pair of good performances before faulting early in a 2175m Class E here on 29 November. Shoes back on though and others preferred this time
  38. LAURENTINA TURGOT – Got off the mark in a 2225m Vire Class F 3 weeks ago. Faces a tougher test this time but still deserves to take her chances. Minor place prospect
  39. LAURE DE MORANZY – 9th of 10 behind LUCIANA HAUFOR (3) in a 2175m Class E here late last month. Has made the frame just twice in 9 career runs and is unlikely to shake things up
  40. LADY VICTORY – 8th of 10 behind LUCCIANA HAUFOR (3) in a 2175m Class E here late last month. Is in her category and should not be too hastily-judged. First 5
  41. LOZEN DE BANVILLE – 3rd of 14, at 96/1, in a 2100m claimer on main track 2 weeks ago, and is plainly taking on too much
  42. LADY OF DURBUY – Steps back up in category after coming 4th of 14, a place behind LOZEN DE BANVILLE (12), in a 2100m claimer on main track 2 weeks ago, but still has more to find
  43. LIBERTY PAT – 2nd of 11 in a 2625m Cherbourg Class F on 24 November. Already established on the short track and the new configuration could well give her the edge
  44. LOKIE KADESH – Unlucky to be sanctioned in a 2700m Graignes Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Enjoys an excellent entry and, if focused, can get in on the action
Summary: She may still be somewhat green but LILYROSE WIND (1) got off the mark in style recently and makes her Vincennes debut with a legitimate chance of repeating. She should nevertheless feel some heat from LUCIANA HAUFOR (3) who has bags of untapped potential, and a padded LIBERTY PAT (14) who benefits from a good entry at the limit of earnings. L’ETOILE D’ETE (4) missed out on the hat-trick when faulting here last month and the more even surface of the inner course should be right up her street.
    SELECTIONS

    C4 – PRIX DE LANGEAC – 2175m (a1m1/4) – Class E Race – Mounted – EUR € 41,000
  45. JASMINE D’AMOUR – Unremarkable 6th of 9 in a 2825m Chartres Class F on 26 November and is not about to cause an upset
  46. JIMANY – Last of 11 in a 2700m Class F here on 2 December. Races barefoot this time but still not a player
  47. JULIANO DELTO – Winner of 2 from 3 under the saddle, most recently carrying off a 2850m Mauquenchy Class F 2 weeks ago. Reconfigured this time but in present shape is very hard to ignore
  48. JUSQUIAME – Never at her ease when sanctioned in a 2200m Class E here 2 weeks ago. Yet to impress since returning to competition and can be passed over
  49. JEDEO DES VAUX – Unraced since being excluded in a 2875m Enghien Class E on 30 September and is going to need the outing
  50. JASMIN DANOVER – Has not been seen out since running 2nd of 8 finishers in a 2250m Enghien Class D last May. Sports pads for re-entry and best to hold off
  51. JEAN DES GLENAN – Gave a reassuringly-good account in a 2200m Class E here a fortnight ago, coming 3rd of 8. Similarly-shod this time and Benjamin Rochard has maintained faith. Place chance
  52. JASMINE DANCER – Opened her ridden account when dominating a mares-only Class F over course and distance on 17 November. Takes on the boys this time but is still eminently up to the task
  53. JASMIN DAIRPET – Faulted early but still managed to finish 6th of 14, behind JAMBIER (13) in a 2700m harness Class E a week ago. Is plainly in excellent condition and, padded for the occasion, will not be far from the action if he stays in stride
  54. JOMIZIO – Last all chance at the start, finishing 10th of 15 in a 2650m Saint-Galmier Class F 3 weeks ago. Is plainly in form but may find the going a bit too tough here
  55. JOYEUSE ENTREE – Makes first public appearance under the saddle after running 6th of 13 in a 2700m Class E here last week. Can trot and while unlikely to spring any surprises, should still be able to hold her own
  56. JAFF DE MESLAY – Sanctioned in the straight when preparing for this in a 2725m Graignes harness Class E early-November. Has not imposed since August 2022 but, with some luck in running, can play a small part
  57. JAMBIER – Showed his form despite being sanctioned in a 2700m harness Class E a week ago, and debuts in the discipline with what seems to be a good hand to play
  58. JONQUILLETE CREPIN – 11th of 13 behind JOYEUSE ENTREE (11) in a 2700m harness Class E last week. Well-regarded at home and Eric Raffin has taken up the challenge
  59. JAVA DU CHERISAY – Has been knocking at the door since the summer, latterly 3rd of 10 in a 2825m Class E at Le Croise-Laroche on 25 November. Has never raced over 2175m but is competitively-shod and unlikely to disappoint
  60. JAGUAR DE VILLETOT – Last but one, on return to competition, in a 2700m Class D here on 22 November. Drops marginally in category, will have progressed for the run, and racing barefoot will do his prospects no disservice. First 5
Summary: JASMINE DANCER (8) has taken superbly to her new vocation and, decisive winner under these conditions last month, steps up in class with a realistic chance of doubling her money. JAMBIER (13) has been in fine fettle lately, debuts in the discipline and will be no pushover with Paul Ploquin in the irons. Even though sporting hind pads this time, recent Mauquenchy winner JULIANO DELTO (3) is another to have shown good aptitude for the code and is unlikely to be far off the mark. Bastien Joseph may just have found the configuration-key to JEAN DES GLENAN (7) who will not be sent out at 47/1 this time.

  61. EQUEJUELO – Unexceptional 5th of 13 in a 2700m Class D here 2.5 weeks ago and will need to show marked improvement
  62. HACKER LOVER – Made up for Laval disappointment when easy winner of a 2700m Class C here on 25 November. Has previously won over 2850m here and even though in more elevated company this time, still looks the one to beat
  63. FILARETE DU VERGER – Ran 2nd to HELIOS SI (5) in a 2700m Class C at Le Croise-Laroche on 25 November despite being denied a run. Has references over the long course but represents no more than a minor place chance
  64. HOLLYWOOD DU BOIS – Steps up in category after running 2nd of 13 in a Class D over course and distance late-November. 25m better off this time and Matthieu Abrivard will be justifiably confident of a good run
  65. HELIOS SI – Beat FILARETE DU VERGER (3) in a 2700m Class C at Le Croise-Laroche on 25 November. Seldom seen at Vincennes but has respectable credentials and could yet pick up a thin slice of the pie
  66. HAMONET DE CHOISEL – Failed to pull off the hat-trick when 2nd of 10 in a 2750m Toulouse Class C a month ago. Has won just the once on the main track but is clearly at the top of his game and will not be far off the mark
  67. ELIXIR DE CRENNES – 7th of 11, behind HUDO DU RUEL (8), in a Class C over course and distance 3 weeks ago and, with pads fitted, will have nothing to offer
  68. HUDO DU RUEL – In the frame in last 3, latterly a Class C under these conditions 3 weeks ago. Boasts excellent consistency, seldom disappoints over track and trip, and will be expected to finish close
  69. HUBBLE DU VIVIER – Valiant 6th of 11, behind HUDO DU RUEL (8), in a Class C over course and distance 3 weeks ago. Thrives under these conditions and, considering the engagement, will be no easy touch
  70. HEDE DARLING – Ran 3rd to HEDIC GEMA (12) before coming last but one in a 2700m Class B here 2.5 weeks ago. Is never easy to gauge and more dependable options available
  71. FUN QUICK – Last of 14, on comeback, in a 2550m Beaumont Class A 10 days ago. Incurs the penalty and is unlikely to make his presence felt
  72. HEDIC GEMA – Has not put a foot wrong for some time, most recently 2nd of 14 in a 2100m Class B here early last month. Adores these conditions and, in present form, is easy to recommend
Summary: It took the fine HACKER LOVER (2) little time returning to the winners’ enclosure following a lengthy break and he looks to be in with a realistic shout of making it 2 on the trot. Sébastien Ernault could not have found a better entry for HUBBLE DU VIVIER (9) who is barefoot for the occasion and David Thomain will be eager to capitalise. HUDO DU RUEL (8) has been knocking at the door lately and Eric Raffin is unlikely to let the opportunity pass him by. In cracking form all year, HEDIC GEMA (12) excels over 2850m here and even though 25m worse off, still has a lot to contribute.

  73. JOADIE WIND – Last of 10, on first start for 8 months, behind JADE MAJOR (9), in a 2700m Class E here 2.5 weeks ago. Imposed over track and trip 12 months ago, will have come on for recent re-entry, and looks a major player
  74. JABADAMES – 3rd of 4 finishers in a 2700m Graignes Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Has good speed, is well-positioned behind the car, and can make a big impact
  75. JICKY GIRL – Pleasant 5th of 11 in a 2700m Class E at Lyon-La Soie a month ago. Reliability not her strong suit but goes barefoot this time, with Eric Raffin reining, and will justifiably generate interest
  76. JYLVIE DE GUEUDE – 7th of 10 in a 2825m Class E at Le Croise-Laroche on 25 November. Can trot when applied and being reunited with David Békaert will do her prospects no harm. Place chance
  77. JAMAICA DE LOU – Sanctioned in a 2700m Class E here 2.5 weeks ago. Has previously won over course and distance but appears to be taking on too much this time
  78. JOYCE D’AVEZE – Easy winner of a 2500m Reims Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Like a horse reborn since being reconfigured and the draw will only work to her advantage
  79. JALENZA DU BOCAGE – Ran 3rd at Feurs before coming 7th of 10 finishers, behind JADE MAJOR (9), in a 2700m Class E here 2.5 weeks ago. Is a tough nut when focused and can finally open her 2024 account
  80. JASMINE DU MAXFRAN – Made up for Laval sanction when missing out by little in a 2800m Chartres Class B on 17 October. Is clearly in fine shape but has been handed a wide draw and in this company will struggle to make her mark
  81. JADE MAJOR – 6th of 10 finishers in a 2700m Class E here 2.5 weeks ago. Badly-drawn and unlikely to set off any fireworks but nevertheless has the capacity to pick up a cheque
  82. JAMAIQUE PAJELO – Tricky character that was sanctioned in a 2200m monté Class E here a fortnight ago. Hind shoes off but still not easy to like
  83. JUST CARLESS – 4th of 13 in a claimer over course and distance on 25 November and in this category has no realistic chance
  84. JOLIE DU CEBE – Sanctioned after 150m but nevertheless showed her form in a 2700m Class E here 10 days ago. Has bags of ability and, if focused, should not be too far from the action
  85. JOLISSIME ELDE – Convincing winner of a 2850m Feurs Class E on 29 October. Not ideally-drawn but with Matthieu Abrivard in the bike, should not be overlooked
  86. JALNA DU BUISSON – Back under harness after running 4th of 10 in a 2200m monté Class E here late last month, but a repeat performance seems most improbable
Summary: Wonderfully-entered here, although breaking somewhat wide, JALENZA DU BOCAGE (7) is significantly better than her recent run would suggest and has the wherewithal to win a race of this nature. Twice a winner here last winter, JOADIE WIND (1) goes barefoot for her first objective of the meeting and will not go down easily. JABADAMES (2) left a good impression under the saddle last time, races barefoot, and is well-placed on the front line. JYLVIE DE GUEUDE (4) will be fully-fit by now, enjoys the plum spot behind the car, and must be respected.

  87. GOLD VOICE – Brilliant course-and-distance winner early October then ran 4th of 14 to FILWELL (8) in 2850m Gr.3 Prix de l’Ile d’Oléron here on 14 November. Back to her trip of preference though and will be expected to exact revenge
  88. FILOU D’ANJOU – Returns to his code of preference after running 4th of 11 in a 2700m harness Class A on 18 November. Has never disappointed over 2175m here and with application can challenge for a place on the podium
  89. FOUGUE DU DOLLAR – Last of 15, behind HIDALGO DES NOES (5), in a 2100m harness Class A conditioner here last week. Has made little impact in the code this season and even though racing barefoot, still looks to have too much to do
  90. FAKIR DE L’ECLUSE – Sanctioned, on just 2nd start back, in a 2850m Class B here on 25 November. Not devoid of ability but others easier to trust
  91. HIDALGO DES NOES – Failed to deliver in GNT Final before finishing 7th of 15 in a 2100m harness Class A last week and debuts in the discipline with modest aspiration
  92. INES DES RIOULTS – 2nd only to a very good horse in a 2850m Class B here on 25 November. Is an excellent finisher, has nothing to prove in this category, and must be taken more seriously this time
  93. FAKIR MERITE – Takes first competitive steps under the saddle after running 8th of 14 in a 2550m Beaumont Class A 10 days ago. Just 2nd time over the distance but receives an Eric Raffin ride for the occasion and can play a role
  94. FILWELL – Won 2850m Gr.3 Prix de l’Ile d’Oléron here on 14 November. Is preferred over longer but still represents the main, and perhaps only, danger to GOLD VOICE (1)
Summary: Exceptional winner under these conditions early-October before running 4th to the wonderfully-consistent FILWELL (8) over 2850m here just under a month ago, GOLD VOICE (1) returns to a trip she appreciates and has a realistic chance of turning the tables. INES DES RIOULTS (6) gave a very good account here late last month and boasts solid credentials over course and distance.

  95. KALITA D’HENINEL – Reassuring, but unthreatening, 4th of 9 in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class A on 13 November and looks to have too much to do
  96. KORALIA DE CROUAY – Rewarded with success when comfortably winning a 2100m Class D here mid-November. Takes on a better lot this time but can figure prominently if still on the boil
  97. KAGNOTTE D’AZIF – Finished good 2nd of 15 to KORALIA DE CROUAY (2) in a 2100m Class D here mid-November. Boasts solid references over 2700m here and will be competitive for a spot in first 5
  98. KINASSE DE VIVOIN – Unraced since finishing 11th of 13, behind KELLY JANE (10), in a 2800m Cordemais Class B on 6 October. Is in competition-mode but still appears to have her work cut out
  99. KINNAIRD – 8th of 15 in a 2825m Class B at Le Croise-Laroche 10 days ago. Barefoot this time but still not a priority
  100. KHALEESI SMART – 4th of 15 to KELLY JANE (10) in a Class D over course and distance late-October. Has never failed to deliver under these conditions and must not be underestimated
  101. KHAMSA – Won 4 of last 5, latterly a 2850m Class D with ease here late last month, and a similar performance would see her repeat
  102. KEY LADY – 6th of 11, behind KIKA JOSSELYN (13), in a Class B over course and distance late last month. Takes a dip in category but others still preferable
  103. KEEN OF THE NIGHT – Off the boil so far this term, latterly last but one in a 2850m Gr.3 here 10 days ago, and has no possible chance
  104. KELLY JANE – Won over track and trip on 31 October before being sanctioned in a Class B under same conditions a month later. Showed her form nevertheless. Attention
  105. KASSYA – Won 3 of last 4, most recently clinching a 2850m Class D here last week. Is a force when barefoot and looks main danger to KHAMSA (7)
  106. KAPUSHA MIP – Given a rest after finishing 6th of 9 behind KRACKMANIA (16) in a Class B under these conditions on 19 September. Is barefoot for comeback and at this level will be expected to get in on the action
  107. KIKA JOSSELYN – Serious filly that came close in a Class B over course and distance on 30 November. Has never disappointed under these conditions and will be no pushover
  108. KIPHYLE DESBOIS – Quality element that ran 6th of 15 in a 3000m Nantes Class B on 6 November. Returns to racing shod though and can be passed over
  109. KOSANOSTRA – Sanctioned in last 2, most recently a Class B over course and distance late last month. Has ample ability but others still easier to trust
  110. KRACKMANIA – Drops in category after coming 9th of 11 finishers, behind KIKA JOSSELYN (13), in a Class B over course and distance late last month. Is proven at this level but in current condition is not easy to recommend
Summary: Winner of 2 from 3 at the venue, KHAMSA (7) dictated the law late last month and will take all the beating if she stays in stride. That said, KASSYA (11) has won 50% of her Vincennes races and her latest performance bodes well for her chances. The good KIKA JOSSELYN (13) thrives over 2700m here and can play a leading role. KORALIA DE CROUAY (2) steps up in class after outclassing the opposition mid-November and must be taken seriously.
