R1 DEAUVILLE [R-H]
C1 – PRIX DE LA SUISSE NORMANDE – 1300m (a6f1/2) – ALL WEATHER – Class 2 Divided Handicap – Flat – EUR € 53,000
- GAME RUN – Group II winner of the Prix du Gros-Chêne last year. Unplaced (13th) in the course-and-distance reference race on 27 November but finished with running him – has the means to gain compensation/set the record straight
- MAJOR OAK – Versatile handicapper who won 3 in a row from July to August, including a 1200m Quinte+ on turf at this venue (resulted in a total 12kg penalty). Finished 8th in a course-and-distance Quinte+ on 27 November – dark horse
- GOLUPTIOUS – Made a successful start to life in this category, winning the 27 November course-and-distance benchmark race. Has more to do under a 4,5kg penalty but shouldn’t be underestimated
- CIAO PA’ – Thriving colt at the top of his game, and is proven at this level (albeit on turf) off a similar mark. Showed both his form and well-being by winning over 1300m on PSF at Chantilly on 23 November – on the shortlist
- CENTENARIO – Unplaced in his last 6 Quinté+ appearances, the latest (11th) over 1400m on turf at ParisLongchamp in early September – subsequently finished 5th over 1350m at Cholet on 3 November. Others preferred
- ROCAMBOLESQUE – Unexposed colt whose limits are unknown, though lacks references on PSF – has regained momentum with 2 comeback outings after a year’s absence. Won a 1200m conditions race at Nantes on 1 November and can’t be underestimated back on this surface in his handicap debut – beware!
- GAILLARD – Honest hard-knocker who finished a reassuring 5th in the 27 November course-and-distance benchmark event off his current mark. Place chance
- SEE YOU PINK – Soundly beaten (11th) in the course-and-distance reference race on 27 November but isn’t hastily condemned, having finished 5th in a well-composed Class 2 over track and trip in her previous outing. Warrants respect
- WONDER BOY – Venerable veteran and PSF specialist who showed his form and well-being by winning a course-and-distance handicap on 27 November. Ought to remain competitive despite a 3,5kg penalty
- BACCHILIDE – Versatile performer who continues to blow hot and cold but retains the means to acquit himself competitively at this level on PSF. Unplaced (10th) in a 1200m Quinte+ at Fontainebleau on 4 November but is best kept safe
- IGNOL – Model of consistency in handicaps on both surfaces, boasting sound references/form credentials. Showed his form and well-being by finishing 3rd in a 1400m handicap on this course on 26 November – not taken lightly
- NIGHT OF LIGHTNING – Won a 1200m Marseille-Borely handicap on 22 October and subsequently finished 6th in a 1400m Madrid race last month. Best watched for now in his first PSF appearance
- MALINOVKA – Consistent and versatile performer whose references/form credentials (albeit at a lower level) include a recent course-and-distance 5th in a handicap on 27 November. Outsider at this level
- REVE DE VALLARSA – Inconsistent colt with undeniable means. Didn’t go unnoticed (6th) on his return from a 3-month absence in a 1600m PSF handicap at Pau on 5 December – has scope to improve
- ROYALWOOD – Placed in consecutive Quinté+ handicap sprints (1200m) before finishing 12th in a course-and-distance event on 27 November – seemed stretched by this extended distance. For another day
- BARGING THRU – Has found his way in French handicaps recently, winning back-to-back PSF handicaps – the latest on this course over 1400m on 4 December. Will appeal to lovers of outsiders
Summary: A Group II sprint winner last year, GAME RUN (1) is an attractive betting proposition here, despite finishing unplaced (13th) in the reference race last month. He had legitimate excuses that day and finished with running in him, so is worth another chance. Veteran WONDER BOY (9), a convincing last-start winner, unexposed ROCAMBOLESQUE (6), thriving CIAO PA’ (4), and even BACCHILIDE (10), who is better than his latest performance suggests, are others with legitimate podium ambitions.

C2 – PRIX DE MANNEVILLE – 1900m (a1m1/4) – ALL WEATHER – Class 3 Claiming – Flat – EUR € 19,000 - ANONYMOUS – Lightly raced gelding with nothing to prove at this level and on PSF. Bounced back to winning ways in a PSF claimer over 1800m at Lyon-La Soie on 2 December and is good value to follow up here

- VENTS CONTRAIRES – Returned to form with a reassuring course-and-distance 5th in a similar event on 27 November. Changed hands since and should go well again for new stable/connections
- CHANCE – Unplaced in 5 appearances this year, all on PSF – twice in claimers and 3 in handicaps, including a last-start 10th over 1600m at Chantilly on 19 November. Could fare better back in this grade
- MR CASSIOPE – Versatile hard-knocking colt with sound references in Quinte+ handicaps on both surfaces and 2 wins from as many appearances in this category, albeit on turf. Unplaced (9th) in a 1600m Saint-Cloud handicap last month (10 November) but shouldn’t be underestimated back at this level, even on PSF
- AMI SOLEDAD – Unplaced in 5 appearances this year, all on PSF – the latest (15th) on this track in a 2500m Quinte+ handicap on 26 November. Should fare better dropped in class over a shorter trip
- OCEANIA – Consistent performer in Germany and caught the eye when finishing 3rd in a 2500m Saint-Cloud claimer on 15 November, finishing ahead of subsequent Quinté+ winner Havoc. Candidate for success
- LAMENTO – Inconsistent, lightly raced 7-year-old whose references at a higher level include a course-and-distance 2nd in a Quinte+ handicap. Unplaced (8th) on turf over 2000m in Germany on 27 October – attractive outsider
- LOUVRE – A four-year-old newcomer. This daughter of Ultra is trained by Yoann Bonnefoy – best watched for now
- GLOBAL CRISIS – Unplaced in 9 starts on turf across the Channel and in all 3 appearances on French soil this year, the latest (9th) on this course in a 1400m claimer on 4 December. Others preferred
Summary: Lightly raced ANONYMOUS (1) has nothing to prove at this level and is good value to continue his winning ways after adding to his tally at Lyon-La Soie earlier this month. VENTS CONTRAIRES (3), a former Quinté+ winner, ought to acquit himself competitively in this grade, so he leads the opposition ahead of OCEANIA (7), after an encouraging start on French soil, and AMI SOLEDAD (6), back over a distance that serves his interests.

- BRAVEHEART – Inconsistent but retains undeniable means – confirmed as much with a reassuring 3rd in a course-and-distance handicap on 27 November. Keep safe
- GOLD SHIVA – A proven PSF performer whose 4 wins were all achieved on this course, including 2 over 1300m. Unplaced in both recent comeback appearances, the latest (9th) on this course over 1400m on 4 December. Can do better

- EL BNOUD – Absent since finishing 12th in a 1200m turf handicap at Chantilly on 26 June. Best watched for now
- CRACK CITY – A specialist PSF performer with sound references/form credentials off his current mark, including a last-start 4th on this course in a 1400m handicap on 4 December. Should have a role to play
- SPACE QUAKE – Experienced hard-knocker who continues to blow hot and cold. Unplaced (10th) in a 1400m PSF handicap on this course on 4 December
- POLIVATE – Inconsistent handicapper who finished 2nd at Pau last month but only 8th in a 1600m PSF handicap at Pau on 5 December. For another day
- BLUE DREAM – Versatile handicapper with references on both surfaces, including a good 3rd at Chantilly in a 1300m handicap last month. Unplaced (12th) in a 1400m handicap on this course on 4 December but shouldn’t be written off
- LORD POST OFFICE – Last-start winner of a 1400m PSF handicap on this course on 4 December. Ought to remain competitive under a 3kg penalty
- RUMPLETEAZER – Versatile 26-start maiden with references on both surfaces, albeit without success. Soundly beaten (16th) in a 1600m PSF handicap at Chantilly on 10 December
- ZANTARIO – Unreliable veteran and currently out of sorts – unplaced in consecutive handicaps on this course recently, the latest (7th) in a course-and-distance handicap on 27 November. Others preferred
Summary: MINO PICO (3) was game in defeat when 2nd on this course last month. She wouldn’t be winning out of turn and her consistency could be rewarded here with Delphine Santiago again in the irons. BRAVEHEART (5), who finished 3rd in that race, and proven PSF specialist CRACK CITY (10) are best equipped to challenge the slection for race honours. LORD POST OFFICE (14), a start-to-finish winner recently, and BLUE DREAM (13) appeal most of the remainder.

- REVENTADOR – Consistent and versatile veteran with sound references at this level on both surfaces, including a last-start 4th on PSF over 2150m at Lyon-La Soie on 6 December
- WEST MARTIN – Honest hard-knocker with references over obstacles and on the flat, including a commendable last-start 5th in a course-and-distance handicap on 26 November. One for the shortlist
- MEDITERRANEA BLUES – Lightly raced and unreliable 7-year-old who finished 3rd in a 2100m claimer in his only PSF appearance back in 2020. Soundly beaten (13th) over 2400m in a conditions race at La Roche-sur-Yon on 29 September
- PANGAEA – Consistent and versatile performer whose references at a higher level include a last-start 5th in a PSF claimer over 2700m at Chantilly on 7 December. Candidate for success
- CHATTERTON – Inconsistent performer on turf. Races on PSF for the first time after an unsuccessful attempt (7th) over hurdles at Argentan on heavy ground over 4200m on 20 October – best watched for now

- RAMY SON ETINCELLE – An 11-start maiden soundly beaten in 10 turf appearances and in her first start on this surface (14th) last time in a 2400m handicap at Pornichet on 8 December. Others preferred

- CLAIR DE LUNE – Lightly raced filly with sound references/form credentials, albeit on turf. Unplaced (8th) in her only start on the PSF and in a 2400m handicap (11th) on heavy ground at Craon on 1 December. Respected at this level, though
Summary: PANGAEA (5) acquitted himself well in a better/stronger race last time and needs only to repeat that performance to bounce back to winning ways. CLAIR DE LUNE (11) takes part in her first claiming race so shouldn’t be underestimated, which can also be said of WEST MARTIN (3), a newcomer to this category too. STILYKER (1) has never disappointed at this level so also warrants respect. DATO (7) comes next.

- L’INITIE – Credible 3rd at Pornichet on November 30th over 3100m in a maiden recently. Has yet to win in 17 attempts and others make more appeal

Summary: RAYO DE LUZ (15) ran a nice race at Pau in late November, finishing fifth in a handicap on the PSF. Down in grade and tries a claimer, she can be involved. She is effective on all types of surfaces. BRIONA (6) has been supplemented for this and can be involved although she can blow hot and cold. LUMINESCE (7) has dropped in the ratings but is more than capable of making an impact in a claimer. ESCUDO D’OURO (5) heads the remainder.

- CRYSTAL WINE – A winner in Poland twice recently, the latest at Sluzewiec over 2200m on October 27th. French debut and would be a surprise winner
Summary: PRESAGE NOCTURNE (5) was not quite up to Group 1 Class last time at the end of October but was a close-up third in the Prix Gladiateur (Gr.3) in September before that and should get a deserved win. HOOKING (3) will try to make life difficult and looks like the main threat. He won on his penultimate start in a Class 1 race in September over 1900m. The trip might be the one issue. PRECIOUS JEWEL (10) is still unexposed and can not be overlooked. THE GOOD MAN (6) is also worth considering.

- KERIA FLEURY – 4th of 11 in a 2400m Amiens Class E mid-November. Races barefoot with Yoann Lebourgeois reining and has a legitimate claim on the prize
- KALIFA MESLOISE – Last of 11 when preparing for this in a 2400m Amiens Class E on 15 November. Is in her category here and, in this company, can play a leading role
- KEY WEST DE CHENU – Returns to a track she likes after running good 4th of 10 in a 2050m Lyon-La Soie Class E on 11 December. Ideally-positioned in front and looks a major player
- KLARA – 5th of 10 in a 3000m Nantes Class E on 3 December. Still in conditioning-mode though and best to hold off
- KALINE DJOB – 8th of 12 in a 3000m Nantes Class E on 3 December. Has been off the boil for some time and can be ruled out
- KASSIOPEE DU NOYER – Unluckily-sanctioned in a 2725m Class E at Grenade-sur-Garonne earlier this month. Has form at the venue and from the front row can give this a good go
- KANDIE DJOB – 6th of 14 in a 3150m Class F at Saint-Brieuc Class F a fortnight ago. Races shod and has no particular fondness for Cabourg
- KYRA GIO – Returns to the harness code after coming last of 5 finishers in a 2200m Vincennes monté Class E late-November. Is confirmed under the saddle here and can get in on the action if Tony Le Beller successfully negotiates the start
- KALITY D’ERABLE – 11th of 14 behind KANDIE DJOB (7) in a 3150m Class F at Saint-Brieuc Class F a fortnight ago. Is useful on a good day but must first reaffirm her credentials
- KATANE DU CORTA – Rewarded with victory in a 2050m Laval Class F on 8 December. Is new to Cabourg and while not a leading contender, can nevertheless make first 5
- KALANSKA – Back in business lately, most recently 4th of 13 in a 2700m Class F at Le Croise-Laroche 3.5 weeks ago. Freshly-reconfigured, with Benjamin Rochard in the bike, and should not be overlooked
- KALEA DREAM – Sanctioned in last 3, latterly a 2200m Vincennes monte Class E late-November. Shoes on and will have few friends
- KASANE DU BISET – Fast-finishing 4th of 7 in a 2800m Chartres Class E on 26 November. Failed to fire on lone appearance here, and starts on back row, but in current form is easy to like for a minor place cheque
- KANELLE D’OUVILLE – Disappointing in 2 since winning at Caen, latterly 7th of 11 in a 2700m Vincennes Class E earlier this month. Has previously won here but the draw will do her no favours
Summary: Winner at Le Croise-Laroche before running 4th at Amiens last month, KERIA FLEURY (1) races first-time barefoot and has a realistic chance of opening her Cabourg account. KALIFA MESLOISE (2) may not be everyone’s cup of tea but she is a tough nut to crack when focused and will be shod to preference. - KING BOLD – 6th of 11 in a 2050m Class E at Lyon-La Soie last week. Is competitively well-in here and the Benjamin Rochard-factor must be taken into account
- KILLER BECO – Gave a reassuringly-good account when 3rd of 13 in a 2700m Vincennes Class E a fortnight ago. Is just 190 Euros from elimination and Adrien Lamy will be eager to capitalise. Chance
- KOMAN – Not devoid of ability but sanctioned in 3 of last 4, most recently a 2050m Lyon-La Soie Class E last week, and others easier to trust
- KAPARKA – Sprang a 69/1 surprise when 2nd of 12 in a 2550m Reims Class F late last month. Handed a tough draw though and a repeat looks decidedly unlikely
- KNIGHT TALE ONE – Encouraged at Angers before being sanctioned in a 2700m Vincennes Class E 3.5 weeks ago. Starts on back row and is unlikely to create an upset
- KELLOU DES BRUMES – Never at his ease when 7th of 13 behind KILLER BECO (7) in a 2700m Vincennes Class E a fortnight ago. Will be race-fit by now though and makes his Cabourg debut with legitimate ambition
- KINDER DANOVER – Runner-up in last 2, latterly a 2750m Class F here earlier this month. Shoes back on though and best to wait
- KING ROC – Has not been seen out since finishing 8th of 11 in a 3125m Angers Class E 2 months ago and will need the race
- KARMA DE BEAUFOUR – Tricky but useful element making first start since being sanctioned in a 2700m Vincennes Class D mid-September. Shoes on however and others preferred
Summary: Enjoying something of a resurgence since late-summer, KID DE LA BANIO (5) returns to racing barefoot, as he was when imposing late last month, and is ideally-placed to return to victorious ways. He will still encounter resistance from the likes of KILLER BECO (7) who is no slouch when shod, and the less-favourably-drawn KELLOU DES BRUMES (11) who, even though sporting shoes, has the wherewithal to finish close. Rejuvenated since being associated with Robin Lamy, KING AULNAIES (3) enjoys the plum spot in front and will have his chances.

C3 – PRIX DES MUFLIERS – 2725m (a1m1/2) – Class F Race – Harness – EUR € 23,000 - IQUEM MARVIC – 4th of 14 in a 2700m Graignes Class G 11 days ago. Has a lot going for him here and is in with a shout of making first 3
- IDEAL FOUR – 10th of 14 behind I PLAY POKER (12) in a 2675m Class G at Le Mont-Saint-Michel early-November. Front pads fitted for first time but is unlikely to create an upset
- IRON BIRD DEVOL – 9th of 15, on first start since July, in a 2550m Beaumont Class F early this month. Shoes off this time but others still preferred
- ISKO D’IQUAINE – Oddly out of sorts when 8th of 16 in a 3000m Nantes Class F early last month. Debuts at Cabourg and given his aptitude, can make it a successful one
- ILLEGITIME PRINCE – Runner-up in 2 before coming 5th of 13 in a 2400m Amiens Class F mid-November. Has previously won under these conditions and is very easy to like. Place chance
- IVES DES GLENAN – Encouraged in an amateur event before finishing last but one in a 2825m Class F at Le Croise-Laroche last Monday. Breaks in front but still not an obvious choice
- ILLINOIS – 3rd of 13 in a 2825m Vire amateurs Class G on 1 December. Known more for his exploits in that category but still has an important part to play
- INSTIGATEUR – Won a brace before being unluckily sanctioned in a 2800m Argentan amateurs Class G last Sunday. Shoes off this time and must be regarded a live chance
- IBRA TEJY – Disappointing in last 4, latterly 9th of 14 behind IQUEM MARVIC (1) in a 2700m Graignes Class G 11 days ago, and can expect to have few takers
- IZIASLAV TEK – Confirmed Amiens performance when 4th of 12 in a 2600m Nancy Class G on 30 November. Placed last time here but more a minor place prospect on this occasion
- IGOR DES CAILLONS – Placed in 2 before running 6th of 10 finishers in a 2700m Class F at Le Croise-Laroche 2.5 weeks ago. In this category though will have modest ambition
- I PLAY POKER – Handy sort with 2 races under his belt, most recently 12th of 14 in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class F a month ago. Will be fit and expected to figure prominently
- IN YOU – Not disgraced when 6th of 14 behind IQUEM MARVIC (1) in a 2700m Graignes Class G 11 days ago. Has more to find but sports modified shoeing and can still hold his own
- I LOVE JAM – 10th of 12 behind IZIASLAV TEK (10) in a 2600m Nancy Class G on 30 November and latest numbers do nothing to inspire confidence
Summary: Given time to recuperate following his early-November disappointment, the good ISKO D’IQUAINE (4) has been handed an excellent draw and with Benjamin Rochard reining can trot his way back into the winners’ circle. It’s unlikely to be all plain sailing though given how well a newly-barefoot INSTIGATEUR (8) has been comporting himself over recent months. Seldom disappointing at Cabourg when focused, ILLEGITIME PRINCE (5) breaks in front, enjoys a very good entry, and must be considered a priority. Confirmed at this level and entrusted to Yoann Lebourgeois, IQUEM MARVIC (1) sports front pads and will not be far off the mark.

C4 – PRIX DES SAPONAIRES – 2725m (a1m1/2) – Class F Race – Harness – EUR € 23,000 - INES D’HERMES – Reinvigorated since switching back to the day’s configuration, most recently 3rd of 16 in a 2350m Angers Class F 10 days ago. Benefits from a golden entry here and has a decent chance of imposing
- INSOLITE EFBE – 12th of 16 to INES D’HERMES (1) in race of reference. Has been off the boil since the summer and must get her house in order
- ISEA DE SAINT MARC – Ran 5th of 16 in 9 December race of reference. Handed a good draw and even though shod this time, should still figure prominently
- ILIADE DE L’ITON – Ran 5th of 11 in a 2700m Vincennes monte Class E mid-November after having imposed at Le Mont-Saint-Michel. Is no slouch under harness and can make her presence felt
- IRMA DE L’ECLAIR – Useful sort making first appearance since 10 October when finishing 11th of 14 in a 2150m Enghien Class E. Handed a good draw, is barefoot for re-entry, and well-placed to give this a good go
- IRONIE DE CHENU – Won 2 before running 4th of 16, a place behind INES D’HERMES (1), in a 2350m Angers Class F 10 days ago. Benjamin Rochard gets the nod here and must be considered a serious contender
- IASELMA – Returns to the provinces after coming 4th of 9 in a 2850m Vincennes Class E 11 days ago. Won her only Cabourg start and will justifiably garner significant support
- INESTELLE – Imposed at Mauquenchy before coming 4th of 10 in a 2700m Class F at Le Croise-Laroche on 2 December. Not ideally-drawn but must nevertheless be afforded respect
- ITALIE DU NORD – Encouraging 4th of 14, at 37/1, in a 2650m Saint-Galmier Class H 3.5 weeks ago but confirmation seems most improbable
- IPSIE DE LA LUNE – 10th of 16 in 9 December race of reference, on 2nd start back. Has placed just once in 4 here and the draw will do her no favours
- ITHENA DE GAJUEL – In the frame in 2 of last 3, latterly 2nd of 11 in a 2725m Graignes Class F on 12 November. Starts on back line but sports 4 pads for the occasion and must not be underestimated
- IRAFARA – Tricky character that finished last in a 2400m Amiens amateurs Class G on 1 December and has no realistic chance
- IDRA – Lost her action in a 2850m Vincennes Class E 11 days ago. Won here in 2023 but has been off the boil since and even sporting hind pads will have nothing to give
- IMZARA VALIERE – Encouraged at Cherbourg before finishing 8th of 10 behind INESTELLE (8) in a 2700m Class F at Le Croise-Laroche on 2 December and can be confidently ruled out
Summary: INES D’HERMES (1) enjoys a super entry, has been knocking at the door recently, and could well win her first race for 3 years. Kévin Lebouteiller will still be keeping a keen eye on IRONIE DE CHENU (6) who finished a place behind his mare at Angers, and the widely-drawn but in-form IASELMA (7) who imposed here in October. IRMA DE L’ECLAIR (5) may not have been seen out for over 2 months but she returns in competition-mode and must be taken seriously.

C5 – PRIX DES SILENES – 2750m (a1m1/2) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 22,000 - LONDON RECALL – Qualified in a superb 1’15″3 at Caen late-October and if race-ready can get straight down to business
- LE RIVAGE – Sanctioned in last 4 but nonetheless showed his form after faulting in a 2700m Graignes Class F last Friday and, with front pads fitted this time, can start to turn things around
- LE RIB – Looked to get getting back in shape when 4th of 11 in a 2700m Graignes Class F 11 days ago and while not a priority should nevertheless hold his own
- LAMENTIN – Won at Mauquenchy before faulting in a 2700m Graignes Class F last Friday. Returns to racing right-handed and if applied can make a big splash
- L’AS DE PIQUE – Followed up Caen victory with 3rd of 11 in a 2225m Vire Class F on 10 November. Finds himself in better company this time but is not to be ignored
- LOVE DE BELLOUET – 6th of 9, on first start since July, in a 2800m Vire Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Shoes on again and appears to have limited prospects
- LOVEBIRD – Nicely-related colt that ran 3rd of 11 in a 2800m Vire Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Is plainly close to his race and should have the measure of most here
- LEWIS GRIFF – Opened his account at Vire late-October prior to running 6th of 10 behind LUCKY DELADOU (9) in a 2400m Amiens Class F mid-November, and will need to raise his game
- LUCKY DELADOU – Pleasantly surprising 4th of 10 in a 2400m Amiens Class F mid-November but will struggle to confirm
- L’ARTISTE MIL – Returns to racing clockwise after finishing 8th of 10 in a 2850m Laval Class E on 8 November but still has no possible chance
- LANCELOT SUEDOIS – Lost his maiden status at Cabourg before running a somewhat lacklustre 5th of 9 in a 2725m Graignes Class E on 12 November, and will need to find more
- LOOPING MIL – Last of 14 when being conditioned in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class E 3 weeks ago and appears to need another outing
- LOQUIDY – Won on debut before repeating in a 2875m Class F at Meslay-du-Maine on 17 November. Should take well to new conditions and looks main threat to LONDON RECALL (1)
- L’ANGE AIMEF – In the frame in 2 of last 3, most recently 2nd of 9 in a 2450m Caen Class F on 9 November. Just 140 Euros from elimination and must be afforded respect
Summary: There are not many horses qualifying as LONDON RECALL (1) did and debuting at Cabourg, but Julien Dubois’ colt is an exception and if as good in competition can win at the first time of asking. He will however be pitted against LOQUIDY (13) who comes to the venue on a hat-trick, and LOVEBIRD (7) who has done nothing but improve lately. Ideally-engaged at the limit of earnings, L’ANGE AIMEF (14) appears to be back on the boil and steps up in category with a good hand to play.

C6 – PRIX DU BUIS – 2750m (a1m1/2) – Class F Race – Mounted – EUR € 19,500 - KYRA D’ECOUVES – 11th of 15 in a 2800m Vire Class F a month ago and in this category will have nothing to offer
- KONFINEE A BAZOCHE – Makes ridden bow after finishing 8th of 17 in a 2800m Vire Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Can trot but would be preferred at a lower level
- KERRIADARCHE – 5th of 7 finishers to KEZIA DES VENTS (13) in a 2700m Graignes Class F last week. Is patently an honest filly but is being aimed too high this time
- KOMETE DU RABUTIN – Sanctioned in last 6, most recently a 2700m Vincennes Class F a fortnight ago. Front pads fitted this time but others still easier to trust
- KELLY D’ACADIE – Excluded in last 2, most recently a 2950m Le Mans Class E on Monday. Has references at a lower level but will have nothing to contribute this time
- KARYNNA FLOMART – Sanctioned in a 2875m Meslay Class F 3.5 weeks ago. Has done nothing noteworthy for some time and is unlikely to buck the trend
- KATY DES GENIEVRES – 6th of 8 behind KILLIE EILISH (10) in a 2550m Reims Class F 12 days ago. Has placed just twice in 11 ridden starts and will have few friends
- KISS ME JIVE – 6th of 12 in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class F on 22 November. Consistently gives her best but is unlikely to trouble the judge
- KISSME COOL D’EB – Got off the mark 3.5 weeks ago, easily securing a 2875m Meslay Class F. Proved herself here in October and, with form maintained, the race will be hers for the taking
- KILLIE EILISH – 3rd of 8, on first start since June, in a 2550m Reims Class F on 7 December. Is sure to have progressed and, if focused, can finish in the mix
- KENZA SOLO – 6th of 11, on monté debut, in a 2425m Angers Class F on 9 December. Will have come on for the run and sporting a fresh configuration will be no pushover
- KOURANE LA CHENAIE – Back under the saddle after finishing 8th of 10 in a 2625m Cherbourg Class F on 24 November. Reconfigured for the occasion and with Benjamin Rochard in the irons must not be ignored
- KEZIA DES VENTS – Dynamic winner of a 2700m Graignes Class F last Friday. Takes on a moderately better bunch this time but in present form is easy to like for a place in the frame
- KENTIA DES RIOULTS – 8th of 11 behind KENZA SOLO (11) in a 2425m Angers Class F 10 days ago. Has yet to deliver in this code and appears to be facing a tough test
- KORINA DE BEYLEV – Makes first appearance since being sanctioned in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class E on 12 September. Has placed in 3 of 4 under these conditions and enjoys a reasonable chance of getting straight down to business
- KORINA DE BASSIERE – Imposed at Graignes before coming 6th of 11 in a 2825m Cordemais Class F 3.5 weeks ago. Michel Donio could not have asked for a better entry and will have prepared her accordingly. Place prospect
Summary: It took 18 races but KISSME COOL D’EB (9) was finally rewarded with victory late last month and, already proven here, can double her money. She can still expect to face opposition from the nicely-entered KORINA DE BEYLEV (15) who ran 2nd here during the summer, and KEZIA DES VENTS (13) who opened her ridden account at Graignes last Friday. Winner at the same venue before failing to deliver at Cordemais, KORINA DE BASSIERE (16) is barefoot for the first time at Cabourg and can challenge for a place on the podium.

- LUMIERE DES ISLES – Sanctioned in a 2425m Angers Class G on 24 November. Sports hind pads for first time but still not easy to recommend
- LITTLE APPLE – 4th of 10 in a Class F over track and trip on 7 December. More was expected of her that day but is still good enough to get a look-in
- LILOU – Made up for a pair of sanctions when 3rd of 7 finishers in a Class F over course and distance on 7 December. Moves up the category-ladder but can still get in on the action
- LIBERTY BUROISE – Would have finished closer than 5th of 7 behind LILOU (4) in a Class F over course and distance on 7 December had she not faulted and Philippe Daugeard will be keen to put things right
- LIYAVA – Looked very ordinary when 6th of 10 in a 2400m Chateaubriant Class F on 11 November and is not about to influence the result
- LARAFALE PASMARICK – 3rd of 13 to LUTECE D’OUVILLE (11), at 105/1, in a 2150m Mauquenchy Class G on 24 November. Takes on a tougher lot this time and is unlikely to spice things up
- LOLA JENILOU – 6th of 8, on return to competition, in a 2575m Saint-Brieuc Class E on 3 November and in this field has no possible chance
- LHASSA BENICIA – Has come close more than once this term, most recently 4th of 11 in a 2400m Amiens Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Enjoys a terrific entry on the front line and Stéphane Meunier will be eager to make hay
- LA REINE DE BEYLEV – Sanctioned, on first start since the break, in a Class F over course and distance on 7 December and will have nothing to contribute
- LUTECE D’OUVILLE – Made short work of a 2150m Mauquenchy Class G on 24 November. Is clearly in shape but would be preferred racing with front pads
- LADY DE VANDEL – Returned from her layoff with 2 straight victories, latterly a 2450m Caen Class F on 9 November. Is unbeaten racing clockwise and is not incapable of keeping that statistic intact
- LANDE D’ERABLE – Late developer that has been a class act in both starts to date, most recently dominating a Class F over track and trip on 7 December. Breaks from the rear but should still take all the beating
- LIPINSKA – Drops in category after finishing last of 13 in a 2200m Vincennes Class E last week. Will be more at ease racing clockwise and despite the handicap still looks competitive for a slice of the pie
- LOVESTORY DU YUCCA – Won first 2 racing left-handed before coming 3rd of 12 in a Class E under these conditions on 26 October. Has had time to get back in shape and is unlikely to let the side down. Place chance
- LUCIA DU CHATELET – In the frame in 3 of last 4, most recently 2nd of 12 in a 2400m Amiens Class E 10 days ago. Forced to travel an extra 25m this time and will struggle to make her mark
Summary: An interesting affair in prospect here with most of the big-hitters on the back line. Winner first time out before confirming, in no uncertain terms, over course and distance earlier in the month, LANDE D’ERABLE (13) returns to the venue with every chance of maintaining her unbeaten status. That being said, LADY DE VANDEL (12) also comes to Cabourg on a hat-trick and will not be easily disposed of. Nicely-engaged, LOVESTORY DU YUCCA (15) won her first 2 before coming 3rd under these conditions late-October and will be fresh for her return to competition. LIBERTY BUROISE (5) was not the most fortunate here last time but benefits from a 25m head-start, has bags of untapped potential and, if focused, can finish in the mix.

- LITYGE DE CYM – Switches code for first time after posting 4 straight harness sanctions, latterly a 2450m Caen Class G on 4 November, and is difficult to recommend
- LOOPING PEJI – Takes first competitive ridden steps after finishing last of 11 in a 2450m Caen Class G on 4 November. François Lagadeuc aboard but others still easier to back
- LOU DU BOUILLON – 8th of 14 in a 2400m Chateaubriant Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Has shown little aptitude for the discipline and can be passed over
- LOUPIOT DE CHENU – Sanctioned in all 6 starts to date and makes monté debut with modest ambition, but still more than some of the opposition. With application, can play small role
- L’AS TEJY – 12th of 14 behind LORD PARKER (7) in a 2850m Laval Class F on 8 December. Should not be too hastily-judged though, races with pads on this occasion, and Benjamin Rochard will be in the irons. First 5
- LORD PARKER – 2nd of 14 on monté debut in a 2850m Laval Class F on 8 December. Comes to Cabourg with morale intact and looks good enough to contest the finish
- LE CLASSIC – Debuts in the discipline and makes first appearance since finishing 9th of 12 in a 2725m Class E here in early-October. Comes here fresh and will not be far off the mark
- LEGO DES BROUETS – Beaten only by a good horse in a 2700m Vincennes Class E on 26 November. Transformed since starting to race with pads and looks the one to beat
- LIKE POWER – Back under the saddle after finishing last but one in a 2850m Vincennes harness Class E 3 weeks ago. Sports pads this time and and can get in on the action if Adrien Lamy keeps him focused
Summary: A different horse since returning to the discipline, LEGO DES BROUETS (9) is plainly close to his race and can win this if he takes to the new conditions. There will be a day when LORD PARKER (7) is no longer a bridesmaid and he will have progressed for his ridden bow. Padded for a much-awaited return to the code, LIKE POWER (10) will be ridden by Adrien Lamy.
