JERIKA DE KERYANN (12), ideally engaged, and JIMINY CRICKET (9), whose debut under the saddle was encouraging, aren’t taken lightly and should acquit themselves competitively, along with Damien Bonne’s new recruit JOMIZIO (6).

- HELLENA – 4th on her latest start over 4000m in a Class 4 hurdle at this track on December 24th. She has placed form over fences but others make more appeal
- KAPTEEN – Unplaced on his last start, 2nd before that over 3600m in a claiming hurdle at Auteuil on November 6th. Consider
- PRINCE CHOP – Won well over 3500m in a Class 4 hurdle at this track on December 4th when last seen. He is a course winner over fences and should be too good for his rivals

Summary: PRINCE CHOP (4) won by two lengths on his latest start at this track in early December on his return from a seven-month absence. He was a previous winner over fences at this track in a Class 1 race in December 2022 and should be too smart for his rivals. Summary: CITY OF GOLD (3) has run well on both of his starts at this track over hurdles. His latest effort was in mid-December over 3300m when he was second. He can edge this over VITUS BERING (5) who was also second on his latest start at this track over hurdles in December. - FOU DU BRESIL – He has been placed on his last three outings, the latter when 4th over 3800m in a claiming chase at Nimes on November 17th. Others make more appeal
- JOLY DE CIERGUES – Seems to be out of form. She was well beaten in a claiming chase over 3800m at this track on December 16th on her latest start. Look for an alternative
- GREAT PARADE – Fair 5th at this track in a claiming chase on December 16th behind JAIPALETEMPS (1) on his latest run. Capable of being involved
- PRINCE D’ORAGE – Unplaced last time, 3rd before that over 4000m in a claiming hurdle at this track on December 6th. Place chance
