  12. KENYAN BLUES – Has disqualification issues but was runner-up in a Class D Mounted race at this track over 2700m on 23 January. Has a winning chance
  13. KEMILLA DE BRION – Has struggled of late and was disqualified last time out at this track on 26 January. Shows speed and could surprise trying a mounted race
    Summary: KEMILLA DE BRION (13) has had a couple of disqualifications of late in harness races. She is trying a Mounted race and if allowed to use her natural speed she might be of some value. KALIMERO JASMA (9) has been a disappointment of late but does have a winning chance in this weak race. KAVIVE (5) is very consistent and would not be a surprise winner. KISS ME JO DARLING (11) only found one better on the day last time out in this discipline and can shine even brighter.

  21. LOULOU DES OUBEAUX – Not disgraced when 5th in Class B over this track and trip on 10 January. Barefoot for the very first time and can earn some money
  22. LOUSTIC DE SALOMAX – In good form and finished third in Class C at this track over 2700m on 29 December. Should be competitive once again
    Summary: Trainer Nicolas Bazire has a very strong hand in this race. L’AMOUR (3) is probably the best of them and has looked good in three wins. L’AMIRAL DARLING (1) has been at his very best over further so far but can fight out the finish again. LORENZO BERRY (7) has a hit-or-miss profile and would not be a surprise winner. LEGACY JIEL (6) has improved since going barefoot and is not out of it.

    Summary: Runner-up to LOVISSIME (8) in a Group 2 here last time out, LITTLE ORELIE (10) appears to be close to her peak form. She landed the Group 1 Saint Léger des Trotteurs in October and could be hard to oppose on the back of this effort. Winner of the Group 2 on 18 January, LOVISSIME (8) is the obvious threat but it may be safer to keep LISBONNE DRY (7) on the short list as she has been in flying form all winter. LUTIN DES BORDES (9) runs barefoot for the first time and must be given some serious consideration.

  44. JUSTIN BOLD – Did not run too badly when 7th in the Group 1 Prix d’Amérique at this track over 2700m on 26 January. Capable of improvement at this level
  45. HIP HOP HAUFOR – His last win was in 2023 and he finished 13th last time out in a Group 1 Mounted race at this track over 2700m on 19 January. Better in harness races and could earn some money
    Summary: GO ON BOY (4) was a game third in the Prix d’Amérique on 26 January, finishing in front of eight of today’s rivals on this occasion. He is an absolute class act and has been very consistent throughout Europe in 2024. He finds here a great opportunity to resume winning ways in the absence of Champion Idea De Tillard. EMERAUDE DE BAIS (2) was most unlucky in the big race and can be given another chance. JUSTIN BOLD (12) did not enjoy the best of trip either on this occasion and did fare better than his seventh place shows. HUSSARD DU LANDRET (9) is not ideally drawn on the front line but remains a serious contender. BANDERAS BI (7) is entrusted for the first time to Eric Raffin and can make his presence felt.

  60. IALTO D’HERTALS – Disappointing form of late and was disqualified last time out at this track on 7 January. Unreliable but is capable of winning a race like this
  61. IES WE KAN – Disqualified in his last two starts, with the latest being at this course on 14 December. Has struggled at this track of late and is best watched for now
    Summary: A very open-looking race and anything can happen. IALTO D’HERTALS (15) is unreliable but was very unlucky last time out and faulted when the probable winner so gets a narrow vote to get it all right this time. IDEAL DE RIVRAY (6) bounced back with a good run at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat about two weeks ago and will be a threat if in the right mood. ILCAPITANO DU PARC (4) is very consistent and will not go down easily. INHERIT (5) likes this track and trip and is another to consider.

    Summary: KOKOTE (11) tasted Group 1 success with a good win last time out. She is at best around that distance but can win over this trip as well. KEENAN DE JOUDES (6) is clearly better than his last run would suggest and Eric Raffin will give him every chance this time around. KARLITO (4) has some recent disqualifications but has the ability to contest the finish. KING OPERA (8) ran better than expected last time out and could play a minor role.

JOADIE WIND (15) is unreliable but does also have a winning chance if applied.

JUST A MIDI (13) ran well in a Group 3 last time out and has a winning chance on the back of this effort. JONGLEUSE DE LUNE (7) is in good form and can be competitive in this line-up.

    Summary: A very competitive looking lucky last race when more than half the field would not be a surprise winner. MISTRAL DU GOUTIER (9) is down in class and can bounce back to score. MARDOUK DE GODREL (4) has done little wrong so far and should fight out the finish. MARQUETY DE BAILLY (8) is not easy to trust but was not disgraced over this course and distance last time out. MISTER FOURCADE (5) is probably better over shorter but that is not guaranteed.

  3. LUDICROUS – 5th last time out, 4th before that over 3500m at Pau in a Class 2 hurdle on January 4th. One to pay attention to on his chase debut
  4. DITES MOI MAITRE – There was a recent win over 3500m in a Class 4 hurdle over 3500m at Pau on February 4th. He is out again quickly and others preferred on his chase debut
  5. DACARIO – There have been three unplaced runs so far, the latter over 3400m at Pau in a chase on December 29th. Hardly inspiring
  6. LE COUP D’ENVOI – Two runs so far over hurdles, 3rd on the most recent at Pau over 3500m on January 23rd. He can improve and is one to consider on his chase debut
  7. ASTORIUS – 5th over hurdles in mid-January last time, 4th before that over fences at this track over 3400m on December 29th. Leading contender
    Summary: LUCKY D’AUBRELLE (2) won by over three lengths when scoring over hurdles at Pau last month on only his third run. He looks like the type to do well over fences and can be expected to give a bold show on his chase debut. ASTORIUS (7) will be no pushover, she faired well on her one attempt over fences when fourth at this track in late December. LUDICROUS (3) warrants respect and is one to consider. LE COUP D’ENVOI (6) is lightly raced over hurdles and makes his chase debut.

    Summary: LOVELY GUY (1) is progressive and likes this racecourse. He won well by three lengths in a Class 1 hurdle over track and trip last time and has leading claims of getting a hat-trick of wins. KARPENN (5) will do his best to make life difficult for the selection. He arrives after a pleasing second in a Class 2 hurdle over track and trip late last month. MANAVA (3) has won three races over hurdles and is one to consider. NEVA (4) is also worth a mention.

LATTAM (12) makes his debut and the jockey booking suggests that he could be ready for a big run. SHAIHAAN (11) is another newcomer from the powerful Rohaut yard that must be closely monitored.
