- JAGGER DANICA – A winner of three of his last five starts, including last time out in Class E at Lyon-La Soie over 2700m on 11 November. Could need this run returning from a break
Summary: JAGUAR BECO (6) bounced back with a good win at Angers at January. He may well follow up but he does have disqualification issues. JACOBSON (10) was in very good form before fluffing his lines with a disqualification last time out and should be a lively danger if wise. JALTO DU TREMONT (8) always gives of his best and can go one better. JODEON (7) could do better this course and distance.

C1 – PRIX SERGE CHARLES – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 30,000
- FIRST DE ROUGEMONT – Last of 14 finishers in a 2150m Mauquenchy Class F on 5 February and would be preferred under the saddle
- IDEM DU PONT – Makes first start since being sanctioned in a 2100m Vincennes claimer on 10 January. Races barefoot this time but others still preferred
- INSIDE MAN – Unseen since winning a 2700m Class F at La Capelle on 11 November. Is twice a winner here and at this level looks a serious proposition
- HAPPY ATOUT – Useful sort that ran 8th of 15 on re-entry in a 2900m Amiens Class F 2 weeks ago. Boasts a fine record at Le Croisé and from the 4-spot could well shake things up
- HENRY DE TROUVILLE – Disappointing since running 2nd here mid-December, latterly 7th of 14 in a 2100m Vincennes Class E a fortnight back. Is well-positioned behind the car though and can start to redeem himself. First 5
- IRIS FARCEUSE – Last but one in a 2850m Vincennes Class D late-January. Unseen here since imposing in 2023, is fitted with pads for the first time, and looks a player
- IDREAMIS – Reconfigured after faulting in a 2100m Vincennes Class E a fortnight ago. Thrives here though and is thoroughly capable of imposing
- GREAT D’ARRY – Surprise 4th of 17 in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class E 11 days ago. Sports a revised formula, is just 680 Euros from elimination, and must be respected
- GREATMAN DE BUSSET – 2nd of 7 over 3100m at Victoria Park last weekend. Not once out of first 2 in 6 starts here and although handed an unattractive draw, he sports just hind shoes and is still worth retaining
- GRISBI DU PERSIL – Reassuring 5th of 12 over 2300m at Mons on 10 February. Is confirmed here but would be preferred unshod
- HOLLYWOOD TORINO – 9th of 12 on comeback in a Class E over track and trip last Monday. Out of the picture in 4 of last 5 here and will have few friends
- HELLA DE JANA – Made up for Mauquenchy blip when 5th of 12 in a 2700m Cagnes Class F 2.5 weeks ago and will have a lot to contribute if Kristof Depuydt positions her early
Summary: A quality mare that has fumbled the ball just once here, IDREAMIS (7) starts relatively wide but has been reconfigured for the occasion and still looks marginally sharper than the returning, but better-placed, INSIDE MAN (3) who has solid references at the venue. Yet to disappoint here when applied, HELLA DE JANA (12) starts on the second row but still looks competitive for a step on the podium. Winner of her only Le Croise start, IRIS FARCEUSE (6) faces a less-exacting task than she has done all winter in Paris.

C2 – GRAND PRIX CHARLES DESROUSSEAUX – 2825m (a2m) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 35,000 - L.A.BOKO – Found his feet on the Vincennes main track, most recently 2nd of 12 in a 2700m Class D 3 weeks ago. Is plainly behind in earnings and will be no pushover
- GO GO GIGI – Trounced in last 3, most recently 10th of 16 in a 2850m Vincennes Class D on 20 February, and can be ruled out
- FALCON JET – Has won 4 times here but sanctioned in last 2, latterly over 2300m at Kuurne last Tuesday, and backs up with limited prospects
- BEHIND BARS – Last of 13 behind TOTO BAROSSO (9) in a 2100m Vincennes Class C a fortnight ago. Is obviously better than that though and can play a small role if he takes to the new profile
- HELLO PANAME – Last of 13 on re-entry in a 2700m Vincennes Class C a week ago. Sports pads this time but it may be wise to hold off
- FEELING BOY – Raced better in a 2850m Vincennes Class D a month ago than the result would suggest. Benefits from a front-line break and can play a leading role this time
- HOLD UP DU SAPTEL – Has not been seen out since winning a 2700m Class C here last October. Undefeated in 4 starts at the venue and although in better company here must still be taken seriously
- GAMIN DES PERDRIX – Got back in the game at Cordemais last week when when 3rd of 14 in a 2850m Class D. Hard to knock when barefoot and focused and from the front row can give this a good go
- TOTO BAROSSO – Fine 3rd of 13 in a 2100m Vincennes Class C a fortnight ago. Johan Untersteiner (13) could not have wished for a better entry and Gabi Gelormini will be justifiably confident
- EMOI SPECIAL – Encouraging 5th of 14 behind GAMIN DES PERDRIX (8) in a 2825m Cordemais Class D last week. Nicely-entered on the front line and could pleasantly surprise
- EUREKA VRIE – Quality element but below-par in last 2, most recently last of 13 in a 2850m Vincennes Class A 2.5 weeks ago. Sports 4 pads this time but still not a concern
- BORDEAUX S. – 3rd of 13 in a 2925m Cagnes Gr.3 a fortnight ago. Is in his category and even from the back line will be competitive for the win
- EPSOM D’HERFRAIE – Tough type with nothing to prove at this level. Has not raced since last winter but is clearly in competition-mode and must be respected
Summary: After having produced some good performances at a superior level in Paris over recent months, TOTO BAROSSO (9) is ideally-entered on the front line and can pick up his first victory of the winter. FEELING BOY (6) is not giving away distance this time though and will have his chances. BORDEAUX S. (12), however, does have an extra 25m to run but in current condition is hard to ignore. Similarly on the back row, and unraced since August, EPSOM D’HERFRAIE (13) goes barefoot for his re-entry and is unlikely to let the side down.

C3 – PRIX DE LA JOURNEE DE LA FEMME – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class F Race – Harness – EUR € 21,000 - KYRIELLE JOMUNA – Twice sanctioned after having imposed over course and distance mid-December. Seldom disappoints when focused and must be considered a leading contender
- KARMINA DU BREUCQ – Unraced since faulting in a 2175m Vincennes Class E 2 months ago. Is confirmed here however and from the 2-spot can challenge for a place in the frame
- KALIE DU BLEQUIN – Back in France after finishing 6th of 7 behind KISS SYMPHONY (10) over 2300m at Mons on 10 February and would be preferred under the saddle
- KANARY BAY – Won 2 at Chateaubriant before being sanctioned in a 2850m Maure-de-Bretagne Class E a fortnight ago. Showed her form that day though and Lilian Bertin will be minded to set the record straight. Claim
- KALINE D’ERPION – Starts for first time since running 4th of 15 in a 2700m Vincennes Class E last August and is going to need the race
- KARA DU FER – 3rd of 13, a place behind KATHY DU PERCHE (7), on comeback in a 2400m Amiens Class F a fortnight ago. Hind shoes off for first time but others still easier to back
- KATHY DU PERCHE – Reassuring 2nd of 13 in a 2400m Amiens Class F a fortnight ago. Struggles racing left-handed though and no more than a minor place chance
- KALAMATA BEACH – Unseen since making it 4 straight sanctions when faulting in a 2700m Vincennes Class E late-November. Has ample ability, and competitively-shod, but others still easier to trust
- KITA DU RIB – Unraced since faulting in a Class F over track and trip mid-December. Not the easiest of horses to handle, and breaks on the 2nd line, but has evident ability and will have her supporters
- KISS SYMPHONY – Sanctioned, at 95/1, over 2300m at Mons last week. Has never shown any liking for Le Croisé-Laroche and is unlikely to change her habits
- KALLISTE CODIE – Sanctioned in 3 of 4 this year, latterly a 2400m Amiens Class F a fortnight ago. Would have the measure of most here though if applied and, reconfigured for the occasion, is not to be underestimated
- KALINA DE LAURIERE – 4th of 13 behind KATHY DU PERCHE (7), on comeback, in a 2400m Amiens Class F a fortnight ago. Starts on back line this time and although not a priority, is still worth retaining for a minor place finish
- KALYPSO MI AMOR – Reassuring 3rd of 15 in a 2875m Argentan Class F 3 weeks ago. Looks close to her race and will be dangerous if Quentin Gaillard successfully navigates the start
- KIBORA BUISSONAY – Returns to a track she likes after running courageous 4th of 11 in a 2100m Vincennes Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Has solid Croisé references and despite a tough draw can still make first 5
- KOHANA – 7th of 17 in a 2850m Laval Class E last week. Out of the picture in all 7 starts this year and can be passed over
- KLARISSA – Handy mare making first appearance since running 6th to KYRIELLE JOMUNA (1) in a Class F under these conditions on 16 December. Has never delivered here and is not about to buck the trend
Summary: There is no sure-thing in this competitive event but in present form, it is hard to envisage the ideally-positioned KANARY BAY (4) being bested if Lilian Bertin manages to keep her focused. On the rail, and sanctioned in 3 of her last 4, KYRIELLE JOMUNA (1) imposed last time here and with application will be no easy touch. KALYPSO MI AMOR (13) has not imposed for some time and is forced to start on the second line, but the nature of her recent run augurs well for her chances. Shod for her return from a spell, KARMINA DU BREUCQ (2) has nevertheless been handed a decent draw and, proven under these conditions, can play an active role.

C4 – PRIX GASTON DE WAZIERES – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class G Amateur Riders Race – Harness – EUR € 22,000 - ISTRIA – Travels the length of the country in a bid to make up for faulting in a 2700m Cagnes Class E 10 days ago. On the rail again but races barefoot this time and should not be overlooked
- IMPALA PARK – Should not be too hastily-judged for running 10th of 13 behind IATHUS DANICA (10) in a Class F over course and distance 12 days ago. Boasts solid references here and the draw will do his chances no disservice
- JUSTESS VIKING – Makes first appearance since finishing 11th of 13 in a 2175m Vincennes Class D on 4 January. Front shoes off for re-entry but may just be a race shy of ready
- JADE – 4th of 16 in a 2100m Vincennes Class D a month ago. Has been knocking at the door and from the 4-spot can make a big splash
- JEDUISANT – Solid 3rd of 14 in a 2850m Laval Class E 3 weeks ago. Terrifically-entered here and Alban Mallet will be eager to make hay
- HELYSEE WILD – In the frame in 3 of last 4, latterly 3rd of 12 in a 2900m Amiens Class F last Wednesday. Backs up but in present shape is easy to like
- ILLICO DE BOUTEAU – Looked very ordinary on comeback when last but one behind IATHUS DANICA (10) in a Class F over course and distance 12 days ago and is not about to influence the result
- GANOVO – Modest individual that has not been seen out since finishing last of 11 in a 2600m Cherbourg Class F last August. Is new to the venue and no fireworks anticipated
- HEROS DE BANVILLE – Unexceptional trotter starting for first time since being sanctioned in a 2850m Mauquenchy amateurs Class G late-November. Shoes on and no threat
- IATHUS DANICA – Surprise 6th of 13 finishers in a Class F under these conditions 12 days ago. Will not be sent out at 83/1 this time but is not an obvious choice either
- JARDIN D’ERABLE – 7th of 10 finishers in a 2700m Vincennes Class D a fortnight ago. Handed a back-row number but is still worth keeping an eye on
- GOLOVKIN NATHANPI – Unraced since winning an amateurs Class G over track and trip mid-December. Barefoot again but a repeat seems most unlikely
- JOY DU CARNOIS – Sanctioned in a 2700m Vincennes Class D 10 days ago. Is behind in earnings and can lift this if she stays in stride
- ISCO DE CORDAY – Unseen since coming 3rd of 13 in a 2750m Cabourg ridden Class E last June. Here for reasons of conditioning and can be ignored
- JASMIN DU NORD – Did not live up to expectations when 6th of 16 behind JADE (4) in a 2100m Vincennes Class D a month back. Is not far off getting back in the winners’ circle and must be considered a contender
- JIVRY – Tricky but capable character starting for the first time since faulting in a 2700m Vincennes monté Class D late-November. Has nothing going for him here and can be passed over
Summary: Somewhat out of sorts this winter, JOY DU CARNOIS (13) will be competitively-shod for the first time in the provinces and can make up for her recent sanction. William Forniglia will nonetheless be legitimately wary of the better-positioned JADE (4) who is close to his race, and a reinvigorated JEDUISANT (5) who starts upsides. JASMIN DU NORD (15) was at the back of the queue when the draw was made but he has been reconfigured, is as honest as they get, and a big run will be expected.

C5 – PRIX FRANCOIS BERNARD – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class F Race – Harness – EUR € 18,000 - LEADER WINNER – 5th of 6 finishers in a 2500m Reims Class F last weekend. Has yet to take France by storm but still has the wherewithal to make first 5
- LATINUS AVIS – Decent sort that ran 4th of 12, on first start back, in a 2825m Class F here on 24 February. Nicely-placed in front and can finally lose his maiden status
- LET IT OUT – Makes first public appearance since coming 6th of 12 finishers in a Class F over course and distance early-November. Handed a good draw but may first need the run
- LET IT SNOW – Lost his action in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Reunited with Pierre-Yves Verva who placed with him early last month and looks thoroughly capable of finishing close
- LUTIN DE LA BESVRE – Starts for first time since dominating a 2850m Laon Class F mid-October. Is just 75 Euros from elimination and if race-fit can bring home the bacon
- LANDRY JHEST – Sanctioned when unsupported in a 2500m Reims Class F last Sunday and is not about to cause an upset
- L’ORIGINAL – Last of 6 over 2300m at Mons 11 days ago. Reunited with Gabi Gelormini who surprised with him last November and should not be ruled out
- LUTIN DU VAUTOUR – Starts for first time since coming 6th of 9 finishers in a 2000m monte Class E at La Capelle last October. Starts wide and others preferred
- L’HEMENCOURT – Showed marked improvement when 5th of 12, a place behind LATINUS AVIS (2), in a 2825m Class F here on 24 February. Not ideally-drawn but in this small field looks a player
- LOUSTIC DE CLECY – Unraced since finishing 8th of 11 in a 2650m Alencon Class F on 6 October and appears to have nothing to contribute
Summary: Sent for a break after winning 2 for 2 last autumn, LUTIN DE LA BESVRE (5) will have come on over the winter and, even though shod for comeback, he is well-placed in front and has every chance of maintaining his perfect record. That being said, LATINUS AVIS (2) gave a good account here on his recent re-entry and racing first-time barefoot can get off the mark. LET IT SNOW (4) failed to complement his own return run but has no shortage of ability and is ideally placed to make amends. A place behind the Baudouin horse here recently, L’HEMENCOURT (9) is on the back line this time but can still apply the pressure.

C6 – PRIX DE L’UPECT – 2825m (a2m) – Class F Race – Harness – EUR € 18,000 - MAFIA – Held back since qualifying in 1’18″9 at Grosbois last October. Is a filly of considerable promise and will have a lot to offer if she takes to the new profile
- MARIBEL MAGNIFIQUE – Qualified pleasantly in 1’19″7 at Grosbois on 17 December but looks no more than a minor place prospect
- MARYLOU DE NAPPES – Qualified in 1’19″3 at Grosbois early-December. Takes on some serious horses first time out and cannot be considered a priority
- MAYA DES BAUX – Did everything right in qualification last October, posting a time of 1’19″5 at Caen. Unlikely to get straight off the mark but should nonetheless finish thereabouts
- MELODY DE L’EPINE – Qualified in 1’19″9 at Caen on 30 October. Is no standout in this field but can make first 5 if she gets around unscathed
- MAHANA RED – Has not been seen in public since posting 1’20″3 at Grosbois last August and will first need to find her bearings
- MALICE DELADOU – Sanctioned when heavily-backed on debut late last month in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class F. Has been talked up for good reason and, with application, can impose
- MAYA GERBEHAYE – Racecourse debutante that qualified in 1’20″5 at Grosbois last July but plainly has significant potential and should be good enough to finish in the mix
- MEDICIS DU BOCAGE – Makes first appearance since finishing last of 10 in a 2400m Amiens Class E late-October and is unlikely to be troubling the judge
- MERVEILLEUSE – Produced a quartet of sanctions before running 3rd of 11 in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class F 11 days ago and can open her account if she stays in stride
Summary: As complicated as she is talented, MERVEILLEUSE (10) returned from her spell with an excellent effort in Rouen and could well with this if Pierre-Yves Verva keeps her focused. MALICE DELADOU (7), though, showed potential despite being sanctioned on his recent debut. The untried, but well-related, MAFIA (1) qualified nicely at Grosbois during the autumn and is sure to garner support. MAYA GERBEHAYE (8) may not have set off any fireworks when qualifying but she is nicely-bred and Julien Raffestin will be quietly confident.

- L’AMI DE VAUVILLE – Unseen since finishing last of 8 in a 2700m harness Class F at La Capelle in November and even under the saddle looks to have his work cut out
- LORIOT – Debuts under the saddle after finishing a surprisingly-disappointing last but one in a 2925m Cagnes harness Class F late-January. Sports a fresh formula and is not to be underestimated
- LIBIZA – Was the pick of the bunch until faulting in a harness Class F under these conditions 12 days ago. Has pleased more than once over recent months and can make a big impact if she takes to the new discipline
- LE ROUPIO – Has not been seen out since coming last of 3 finishers in a 2550m Reims harness Class F late-November. Is no slouch when focused though and will be no soft touch if applied
- LA CANDEUR – Sanctioned in a 2700m Vincennes Class D on 17 February but drops in category and can play a leading role if she replicates her penultimate effort
Summary: Clearly useful but not always the easiest to handle, LIBIZA (4), who is shod for the occasion, could well have won under harness here recently had she not faulted and if form transitions should be able to open her monté account. Alexiane Lepage can still expect to feel the heat from the promising LA CANDEUR (6) who put on a good show in Paris early last month, and the complicated LE ROUPIO (5) who races unshod-behind for the first time.

C8 – PRIX DE L’UNAT – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class G Amateur Drivers Race – Harness – EUR € 6,000 - HAOUSSA DE VENNES – Starts for the first time since comfortably winning a 2150m Mauquenchy amateurs Class G late-November. Stays shod for comeback but is still good enough to make first 5
- JOHNY DU VIVIER – Has not been seen out since running 3rd of 12 in a 2450m Villereal Class F last August. Will be fresh for amateur debut and, if he turns, can wrap this up
- ITALIANO – Hardy element that ran 10th of 16 when prepping for this in a 2800m Vire Class F a month back. Shod to preference this time, is back in his category, and should not be overlooked
- HELLO VRAC – Quickly sanctioned in a Class F over track and trip 12 days ago. Is ideally-placed on front line and will have a part to play if he replicates his penultimate effort
- INDIGO DU PERCHE – Has had ample time to recuperate after having clinched a 2150m Mauquenchy amateurs Class G on 22 January. Anthony Desmet back in the bike and is capable of guiding his charge back into the frame
- JOCKEY – Good 5th of 14 in a 2850m Laval Class E on re-entry 3 weeks ago. Just 110 Euros from elimination and Théo Perrier and be confident of an another competitive performance. Place chance
- JESSIE LAKE – Unraced since finishing last but one in a 2700m Vincennes Class E late-November. Has no amateur references and with shoes on will have little to contribute
- IMITCH DU MOULIN – Won 3 on the trot before faulting in a Class F under these conditions 12 days ago. Starts wide but has been entrusted to Sven Hoste and will be expected to bring the fight to JOHNY DU VIVIER (2)
- HAZEL DOPE – Won an amateurs event at Mauquenchy before running 6th of 13 in a 2400m Amiens Class F 2 weeks ago. Handed a tough draw though and others preferred
- GIORGIO DU VIVIER – Useful at this level but will need to improve on last weekend’s 10th of 13 in a 2500m Reims amateurs Class G
- ILEPSON – Unseen since faulting in a 2825m Class G here early-December. Shoes on and can be disregarded
Summary: After 15 starts racing clockwise, JOHNY DU VIVIER (2) races first-time left-handed following a lengthy layoff but has been afforded a good number and, shod for competition, can get straight back in the game. Author of a hat-trick before faulting early here recently, IMITCH DU MOULIN (8) can be backed with confidence this time. JOCKEY (6) will have progressed for his comeback run and takes his first public amateur steps with a seemingly good hand to play. A winner here during the autumn, INDIGO DU PERCHE (5) opened his amateur account late-January and will justifiably garner support.
