  1. SAGARRIC – Fair 3rd last time out over 3500m in a claiming hurdle at this track on November 24th. Tries fences for the second time and others rate higher
  2. SANTANA BEACH – Nice win over 3700m on February 16th in a Class 2 chase at Angers on her first try over fences. Track winner over hurdles last October. Key chance
  3. FATHER DAY – Several unplaced runs of late, the latter over 3600m in a Class 4 chase at Fontainebleau on March 11th. Looks safely held
  4. BEST OF US – Placed 3rd on his last two starts, the latter over 3400m in a Grade 3 hurdle at Compiegne on November 29th. Chase debut and warrants respect
  5. KARPENN – 5th last time out, 2nd before that over 3500m in a Class 2 hurdle at Pau on January 31st. Tries fences and has work to do
  6. LULLY DES BRUYERES – 5th last time out over fences on March 9th over 3800m in a Class 4 race at Moulins. He will need a lot more to feature
  7. BAHYADAME – Shaped well to be 4th over 3500m in a Class 4 chase at this track on March 2nd and a win in a Listed hurdle before that at Auteuil in December. Player
  8. ALTURA – 6th last time out, she won before that over 3000m at this track in a Class 3 hurdle on May 8th, 2024. Return run since September and her chase debut, she can be involved
    Summary: SANTANA BEACH (2) jumped well on her chase debut at Angers in February and won by 20L at the line. She has a leading chance of following up. BAHYADAME (7) showed promise on her chase debut at this track earlier this month when she was fourth and can improve from that effort. She can make the selection work hard. ALTURA (8) is also one to consider on her chase debut if fit to go. BEST OF US (4) looks best of the others.

  9. LEHO – Good 2nd over 3600m in a Class 2 hurdle at this track on February 15th and a win before that at Pau in January. Player
  10. LOVELY DINO – Won on debut over hurdles at Pau in January and was a decent 3rd in a Class 2 hurdle at this track on March 2nd over 3500m. One to pay attention too
  11. GOLIADOR – He got off the mark on his second run over 3500m in a Class 4 hurdle at Toulouse on February 24th. Others seem better equipped
  12. TENALACH – Won on his only run over 3400m in a class 3 hurdle at Angers on November 25th by a narrow margin. Improvement expected and he can make the frame
  13. IT’S WIN O’CLOCK – Improved run when 2nd on his second try over hurdles in a Class 2 race at this track on November 30th after a fall on debut. Hard to ignore
  14. MAOHI – Two unplaced runs so far, the latter over 3600m in a hurdle race at this track on February 24th. Hard task ahead
  15. NO BAY – 4th last time out, he won before that over 2600m on the PSF in a handicap on the flat on December 17th. Hurdles debut and this is a tough introduction
    Summary: LEHO (1) has won twice, once over hurdles after a win on the flat on debut. He showed improvement on his third start in a Class 2 hurdle at this track last month to be second and is given the vote ahead of LOVELY DINO (2) who won on debut over hurdles and was a pleasing third at this track 21 days ago in a Class 2 hurdle. IT’S WIN O’CLOCK (5) failed to complete the course on debut but made up for that with a second last time and is worth considering. TENALACH (4) is also worth a mention.

  18. JOHNNYSAID – 3rd on his last start over 4200m at Cagnes-Sur-Mer in a Class 4 chase on January 1st. Unlikely to trouble some of these
  19. HOKUSAI VALLIS – Fair 3rd over 4200m at Saint-Brieuc in a Class 3 handicap chase on March 2nd on his last start. One to keep safe
  20. LASTDREAM D’OROUX – 9th last time out, 3rd before that over 4400m at this track in a handicap chase on October 24th. He will strip fitter for a recent run 21 days ago
  21. IN MEMORIA – Ran well to be 3rd over 4100m at Compiegne in a Class 3 chase on March 4th on his last start. Can be competitive
  22. JEYWELL – Several unplaced runs of late, the latter over 4100m at Compiegne on March 4th in a Class 3 chase. Hard to recommend
  23. FENICE SAN MARCO – 3rd over 3800m at Jarnac in a Class 5 hurdle on October 8th, 2023 when last seen. He has won over fences before but might need this outing

    Summary: KAP LORD (1) can follow up on his win at Angers last month in a Class 3 chase. He has placed form at this venue over fences before. FIDELE AU POSTE (2) has two placed runs of late, the latter at this track in a handicap chase 21 days ago and he can feature. IN MEMORIA (6) looks like one for the each-way backers to look at after a decent third at Compiegne on March 4th in a Class 3 chase. HOKUSAI VALLIS (4) makes up the shortlist.

    Summary: IRADIUS (12) can get back on track after two failed attempts recently. He won over course and distance in late April last year in a Class 3 chase and is reasonably well handicapped. J’ARRIVE DE L’EST (8) will be full of confidence after a win over track and trip in a handicap chase earlier this month and looks a threat. KLITCHKO DE BELAIR (2) has decent form at this track and warrants respect. JAGUAR DES OBEAUX (13) has a decent racing weight and is worth considering each-way.

    Summary: LOSANGE BLEU (1) is a top-class performer and won the Grand Prix d’Automne ( Grade 1 ) Hurdle on November 16th at this track on his most recent start. He will be ready for this return to action. NYIRI (2) arrives in top form with two wins recently, the latter over this track on March 2nd in a Listed hurdle. He can make the selection work for the victory. SQUARE SAINT ROCH (7) and CUNCERTO (4) are honest performers who can duel for minor honours.

  68. MAZARIN DU BERLAIS – Two unplaced runs since a 2nd over track and trip in a Class 2 handicap hurdle on March 24th, 2024. One to avoid
    Summary: POMPANO (13) has been running well lately with two solid efforts on his last two starts. He was a decent second in a Class 1 handicap hurdle last time at this track and deserves to get another win. STYLE D’EMIRS (6) could be the main threat, he won over 4000m in a Class 3 hurdle in early January and this is only his fourth start over hurdles. IL Y A (4) has been racing over hurdles and fences and can not be ignored. KASSEL ALLEN (5) should appreciate the hurdles return and is one to consider.

SIX FIGURES (3) was a decent third in the Prix Cambaceres (Grade 1 ) Hurdle in mid-November. He can make the likely favourite work hard for success. DJIN’S (2) is a track and trip winner in Grade 3 class and can not be ignored. PROUD LUCY (6) seems to be improving and can give a good account of herself.

  87. LENZA CONTI – 2nd on her debut on the flat two runs back at Vichy over 2400m on May 26th. She will be well prepared for this hurdles debut
  88. LIBERTE D’ESPRIT – 4th on her hurdles debut over 3550m on February 19th in a Class 4 race at Fontainebleau. Flat winner who has outside place claims
  89. LILI BALL – She won on her latest start over 2900m in a Group 3 AQ race at Durtal on December 15th. Hurdles debut and is one to consider
  90. LABELLEVIE – Unraced by Bande, the dam never raced. From a leading stable who knows the time of day. Watch the betting for any support
    Summary: LOUVETANZA (6) has been knocking at the door recently and was a decent second at Angers on the most recent in a Class 3 hurdle in late February. Her hurdling experience could be key in this event. LA GRANDE MALICE (9) won on her last start on the flat at Argentan in late August last year. She will be well prepared by connections for this hurdles bow. KALIPSIA DE MEE (2) has a nice profile and can be expected to be well-tuned for her debut. LYRICAL STAR (5) is also worth considering.

  96. LUTECE D’ARTHEL – Two wins over hurdles of late, the latter over 3500m in a Class 2 race at Pau on February 9th. Chase debut and looks promising
  97. LA PALMERAIE – Got off the mark over 3600m in a Class 2 hurdle at this track on February 15th on her third start. Lightly raced and has more to come now trying fences

    Summary: LANIVTSI (3) won a Class 1 hurdle at this track in early November and was then a good third on his chase debut in a Class 2 event later that month. He can win from the main threat L’AMAZONE (4) who is seeking a hat-trick after two wins over hurdles and the latter over fences by six lengths in early February. LUTECE D’ARTHEL (6) has made a good impression over hurdles with two recent wins and warrants respect. LA PALMERAIE (7) won over fences last time and can be involved.

  4. SI YOU SOON AA – Returned to form and was runner-up last time out in a Conditions race at Toulouse over 2400m on 3 March. Can contest the finish
  5. SISLEY DE L’ABBAYE AA – Continues to improve and was a good winner of an International race at Tarbes over 2300m on 20 October. Can complete the hat-trick if fit from a break

  9. HALANDJILA AA – Not disgraced when third in a Conditions race at Toulouse over 2400m on 3 March. Consistent and can make the frame
  10. HEROS DU MAS AA – Yet to win a race and finished 6th in a Conditions race at Toulouse over 2400m on 3 March. Might play a minor role
  11. LE FRIMEUR AA – Returned from a lengthy break and finished 11th in a Conditions race at Toulouse over 2400m on 3 March. Capable of improvement but others are preferred
  12. JOBURG PONTADOUR AA – Disappointing recent form and was 5th in a Conditions race at Toulouse over 2400m on 3 March. Needs to do a bit more to beat these rivals
  13. EDELWEIS DU CARNOT AA – Very consistent so far and was third last time out in an International race at Tarbes over 2300m on 20 October. Not out of it returning from a break
    Summary: SISLEY DE L’ABBAYE AA (5) has improved as a three years old and can return from a break to beat his elders. He looked good when scoring in October. HORIZON DE TANUES AA (6) is fit and won well at Toulouse earlier this month, so he deserves respect. SI YOU SOON AA (4) chased home that rival that day and is clearly not without a chance. FIRST COLOR AA (7) fluffed her lines last time out but has ability and a winning chance.

    Summary: JUJU DE NORTHEN (12) had been on a fine run of form until flopping at Machecoul earlier in the month but she tends to bounce back and proved here in January that she is eminently up to the task. She will however be pitted against a rejuvenated JASPER QUESNOT (11) who is out to turn the tables on JAVANAISE DE FARS (13) who had his measure here in February. JAVA DE LIGNY (9) has returned to form and will be no pushover if she stays in stride.

    Summary: KAMA D’EM (7) may not be the most reliable of horses but she showed marked improvement at Caen recently and has decent references in this category. She will still be opposed by KING DE BOUTEAU (1) who climbs back up the class-ladder after going close here earlier in the month, and the complicated, and shod, KSAR BLUE BOCAIN (6) who has been held back for this. Effective in both codes, KISS ME JIHEM (3) has been handed the ideal spot behind the car and in current form is unlikely to disappoint.

    Summary: BENGALE (2) fluffed his lines in this division on the turf at Saint-Cloud earlier this month but had been performing well on the PSF before that and can bounce back to score. Much more was expected from GUIBERNE (3) on debut, and he can show significant improvement when trying the PSF. FIRST ROSE (8) should also improve after her debut at this track. EICHEL (4) is well drawn and could be competitive this time.

    Summary: LINARIA (5) was not disgraced in a handicap last time out at this track. She has several runner-up finishes to her name and can go one better this time—a strong bet for this final race. LIO DE LA PLATA (7) is consistent and appears to be the main threat to our selection. VERT ET MER (1) showed some improvement last time out and can contest the finish. DOUBLE N’TONIC (4) can improve over this longer distance and has a good outside chance.
