VIVIAN FANCIED FOR SOUTHWELL VICTORY

Fine Form
Lady Vivian SO – 5.45
looks well placed to make it third time lucky when she lines up for the Win #1M With BetMGM’s Golden Goals Maiden Fillies’ Stakes at Southwell.
The daughter of Camelot was clearly backward when making her debut at Lingfield
in November but showed plenty of promise in finishing second at this venue last month.
Although no match for Godolphin hotpot Tribal Act, who was already a Kempton victor before that contest, Lady Vivian travelled nicely throughout and picked up really well to come clear of the rest once straightening late on.
Carrying the powerful Valmont colours, Ralph Beckett’s filly has an Irish Oaks entry and, while that may prove fanciful, she is rated one to follow stepping up to a mile and a half here.
Key Witness LI – 3.22
is an interesting newcomer at Lingfield in the Weekly Free Bets With BetMGM Extra Restricted Maiden Stakes for the in-form combination of Archie Watson and Hollie Doyle.
This three-year-old son of Acclamation is a half-brother to three winners, including useful mare Panama Red, who was a Listed-class scorer for Ger Lyons and ran in the Irish 1,000 Guineas.
Combustion LI – 5.07
is predictably creeping up the weights following three straight wins but there was still a lot to like about the way he got the job done at Chelmsford last time and one more strike is achievable in the Free Bets With BetUK Bet Club Handicap.
Good Friday Fairy FN – 3.45
is fancied to cope with carrying top-weight in the #40,000 Smith And Western Chase Series Final at Fontwell.
Ben Clarke’s gelding is bidding to complete a hat-trick after romping home by 16 lengths at Wincanton and then enjoying another comfortable victory at Taunton.
The eight-year-old also has a course and distance success on his CV from last season and won well on a sound surface over hurdles, so he ticks plenty of boxes.
Tommy The Tank FN – 4.20
will take some stopping in the Millstone Landscapes Stuart Wilkins Memorial Race Novices’ Hurdle.
He followed up a fine second to Belliano at Ascot by beating another Paul Nicholls-trained opponent in Wicked Thoughts by 13 lengths at Hereford and looks a really bright prospect.
Heroique De Maulde WE – 4.07
was well backed when returning to form with a good second at Newcastle recently and can recoup those losses in Wetherby’s Raymond Mills Memorial Handicap Chase.
His conqueror at Gosforth Park has since gone on to score again at Sedgefield and this Oliver Greenall and Josh Guerriero-trained runner is currently rated 12lb below his last winning mark from two years ago.
